"This better be worth my time", Yuno thought as he arrived in the town of Magnolia. It was a beautiful merchant town next to the ocean. He had been on the road all day long and was ready to get what he came here for over with. He had hoped to arrived in the town alot sooner than when he did , but due to bandits on the road he was delayed. The bandits attack didnt bother him much , but the fact that he had to do most of his journey surrounded by people who were utterly useless is what made it worse. During the attack it was only one other person besides Yuno who could do anything to defend themselves. Luckily for Yuno that person skills were about on par with those who were attacking. Things would of gotten alot worse if they didnt get any help from some mages that just so happen to be in the area.

As Yuno got off the wagon , he ignored the goodbyes the other passengers sent his way. He didnt have anytime to talk to "trash" who couldnt even defend themselves. As he walked around the town , he was slightly in awe at the beauty of it. It was a new feeling for Yuno , he had never seen such a beautiful town before. After Basking in the beauty of the town for a few moments he decided it was time to find the guild hall. The only problem with that is he had no idea on where he would start looking. He thought about where the best place would be for the guild but realized he didnt do enough homework on the town to know much about it. He decided he would just wander around untill he stumbled upon it.

Yuno walked and walked but to no avail , it seemed like the town was endless. If he was your average person he would of been stopped one of the friendly citizens and asked for directions , but Yuno hated asking for anything. He knew though that if he didnt ask for help, he possibly wouldnt find it for atleast another day. "You there , where is the fairy tail guild hall", Yuno said to a man walking pass. The man gave yuno a confused looked as if he was about to say something rude , but the man decided it would just be best to point Yuno in the direction of the guild. Without thanking the man , Yuno walked in the direction the man pointed to.

It didnt take him to much longer to find the guild hall. He took a pause, making sure to look around the building he would call his guild. He took a deep breath before opening the door.

    "Guild Master where are you"
,Yuno said in a loud tone , he was practically yelling. He wanted to make sure who ever was around heard him and would make their way to him.

”… Kind of a weird ending, don’t you think?” Mura mumbled to Kyuken with his head flattened on the executive table. He was in his office - the office of the Guildmaster of Fairy Tail, having a nice, box TV in front of him playing one of those detective movies that he had rented a while ago. “Well… I find it rather creative to end it openly like that,” Kyuken replied. The one named Kyuken was a blue spirit ball with the face of an ancient samurai as he was, and they were both eyeing the box TV’s screen while Zirconis - another spirit ball head with the face of a sturdy dragon - was floating around the mess hall downstairs. It was designed, so that the entrance into the guild would introduce any guests immediately to the boisterous and lively atmosphere of the diner and lounge where the members and clients would relax, recover and nourish.

The dragon ghost floated back up to the office upstairs the moment a new guest requested the Guildmaster’s audience. The ghost simply called: “Mura! Some dude is calling for you… or, more specifically, the Guildmaster. He sounded angry… don’t tell me that it’s someone that you know?”

“That I… know? It can’t be-“

    “I hope not.”

    “What does he look like?”

“… He has almost the exact same hairstyle as you, first of all. Other than that, he looks pretty average to me.”

“Huh… well, on my way!” Mura assured the ghost as he rose up from his seat and exited the office in a hurry to meet the new guest who wanted to see him. Despite the lack of need, he took the fancy elevator down to the mess hall, and from the elevator door, many of the present members would look over at their Guildmaster showing up. This would clearly indicate Mura’s status to the guest if nothing else.

“… Oh, hey there,” Mura greeted the young man with ducktail hair and a demanding look on his face. The shaman lifted his hand in a soft wave, then continued: “It’s me you’re looking for, so state your request.”

“By Shinto, he looks just like you…!” Kyuken roared up as the blue spirit ball darted between Mura and Yuno. Unless if Yuno possessed any specific prowess to sense spirits - or was perhaps a shaman himself, then Kyuken and Zirconis wouldn’t be perceivable to him and would be completely invisible.

The guild was as lively as it usually was. Even more so as Zachary had a couple of his little companions around. Earlier that day, Sirius came out and was joking along with a few of the drunks at the guild, being they were all talking about women. The pervy wolf didn't hang out long as Nyx the owl chased him away. To add to the chaos, Aquila also appeared and stole a piece of meat from a member's plate , adding to cause another bar fight among members.

All the while as the chaos from both men and Spirits went around, Zachary was trying to enjoy some food at the guildhall. He also had his spellbook out before him. Like the studious mage, he was. For Zachary he often was a bit out of character from the rest, being a mage with a stronger sense of book smarts and dedication to study. He was taking some time to look over the more advanced forms of the Arc of Cosmos magic. He had been able to understand and memorize the easier stuff but now was the big guns. Aspects of conjuring meteors, channeling nebulas, becoming avatars for the universe itself. It was scary from the looks of the spell descriptions and not ones to use lightly. If he was not careful, he could do more than just repel an enemy...

While he read, a cute, adorable yellow-colored critter napped atop of head. The little creature looked like a star in shape, with a face that most would have their hearts melt to see. Even though with the loud chatter and route behavior Fairy Tail was famous for going on, both the creature's nap and Zachary's study were untroubled. They clearly had practice...

... the bang of the door and the demand to see the guild master roared out, causing all to enter silence. That alone was enough to disrupt things as Zachary jolted from his book-- and Astral tumbled off Zachary's head, plopping on the book.

Owchie! Astral cooed in his telepathic manner, something many would hear-- including the 'intruder'.

Zachary stood up. By that time too, Mura had emerged as well. His mannerism was as cheerful and carefree even as he approached. Still, Zachary rose up from his seat and approached as well. The cold, unnerving feeling Zachary got from the blacked hair youth put him a bit on edge. He appeared a couple years older than him, but it didn't stop him from approaching him. He kept a hand on his Celestial Keys in his pocket, just in case.

"That is not exactly a greeting welcomed in Fairy Tail, pal," Zachary said, trying to keep a neutral tone. He was welcoming and friendly to most, but this guy just rubbed the entire room wrong it seemed. "What's your intention with him or Fairy Tail anyway?"

Recovering, Astral rose up from the book and floated to Zachary. The little star creature looked to the stranger, seeing the neutral, almost stone-cold expression on his face. Ooooh? he chirped, wondering who he was.

"This is what a guild looks like ?", Yuno said to himself in a slightly disappointed tone. He was expecting a more serious atmosphere. As he looked around he could see nothing but people filled with joy and something about the friendly atmosphere rubbed Yuno the wrong way. He couldnt help but pity the people who had such a carefree attitude , but then again how could he blame people for being the trash that they were. Most of them were going to live much longer either way so he decided not to spend to much time thinking about it. It bought a slight smile to his face as he watched everyone quite down as he demanded for the guild master.

It didnt take long for the guild master to show himself. At first glance Yuno didnt expect someone so young to be the guild master , but he knew better than most to not underestimate someone because of age. He appeared to be around the same age as Yuno but he had a couple inches on the guild master. So when he gave Yuno such a  nonchalant greeting it didnt surprise him much. Most teenagers around his age just had that carefree attitude with them, but he knew this guy had to be something different. Afterall he is the guild master at such a young age. Out the corner of his eye Yuno could also see one of the mages had stood up when the guild master had enter the room. He too had also approached Yuno , giving his own form of a greeting. It did please Yuno that they didnt seem as friendly as they looked. He had hope he could skip all the pleasantries and get to the point , he rather not have to waste his time talking all day with people.

He did infact find it slightly annoying that he had to answer to two separate people , so decided he was gonna make this as quick as possible. "If I was coming to greet you Mage than you would know , My business here today is to join the guild of course.", Yuno said shifting his gaze from the blue hair mage and then to the guild master. He didnt know what  the requirements were to become apart of the guild but he was sure he could meet the standard. After looking around he couldnt beleve that some of the people here were stronger than him.

Kind of a rough greeting, yeah, but it didn’t phase Mura at all. He was rather indifferent to his first impressions of new people, for they always seemed to reveal more and more about themselves overtime. One of the perks of having stayed in this guild for so long must’ve been developing this keen wisdom and patience for the members around him, just as many Guildmasters before him had.

Yet, it wasn’t unreasonable for Zachary to find the guest’s entrance unfitting in the audience of Fairy Tail. Well, he specifically asked for me, so he must be interested in joining the guild, Mura thought. If he had a request or an issue that he wanted help with, or perhaps a grudge against an enemy that he wanted Fairy Tail to deal with, then the entire guild was to his service at their discretion and sense of judgement - TL;DR, not exactly limited to the Guildmaster only. This was why Mura assumed that the ducktail wanderer wanted to become a Fairy Tail Wizard himself.

And that thought was confirmed by the stranger as he made it stingingly clear to Mura and Zachary. He seemed dead-set on becoming a Fairy Tail Mage given by his straight-to-the-point statement, but hey, at least he wasn’t wasting anyone’s time. At the same time, though, he hadn’t even told them his name. Rude.

“Oh, really?” Mura reacted to his statement with a soft smile rising, “I mean, I’m always happy to see Fairy Tail increase in numbers, but… you gotta convince me. We’ve been gaining many new members lately, and Aven isn’t here right now so, uh… what’s your name, and what are you capable of?”

… Wait, all three of them had ducktail hair. This must’ve been fate.

The resulting shock to hear with Mura emerging and still casual. Still his responce to Zachary was cold and unfriendly-- even more so than Zachary intended. "What?!" he gasped, showing a grumpy look at the new guy, despite the ice cold expression on his face.

Nyx, the owl, who was watching soon soared down and landed on Zachary's shoulder-- her usual perch to be near her summoner. "My what lack of manners," the owl said, looking at Yuno. Zachary knew with that to keep quiet and just watch now. He was happy to see any new member come to Fairy Tail, but how he just demanded the master and act so cold. Fairy Tail was about family, acceptance, and gathering to share one another's dreams... at least that was the Fairy Tail he had dreamed of and wanted to be part of. Even though it changed, he held fast to that dream.

He just grunted and turned-- however, Astral was a bit more... oblivious to Yuno's cold attitude. He was so neutral in his expression, it was hard for the little star fairy to tell if he was friendly or not. Without any hesitation, Astral intervened.

Oooh? he cooed and fluttered in front of Yuno, a few feet from his face. He looked back at that cold expression for a few seconds, but soon cracked a smile. Aye! New fwiend! I'm Astwal! Who awe you? Astral chirped in an overly cheerful tone with his thought-speak. It literally was like a child's tv character come to life with how cherubic he was.

"Astral, no!" Zachary urged to call the star back, but he didn't listen. "Get back here!"

Astral ignored Zachary, curious to the new visior he hovered close to. While boardering on personal space, Astral looked at the visitor's stone face-- hoping to get a smile to crack or a greeting.

This was taking alot longer than what Yuno had expected. He had hoped he could of came in here and had a quick conversation with the guild master and quickly become a new member. Instead he was force to have to deal with one of the other guild mage as well. Thinking back on to when he first had heard about the guild , he did remember hearing that they were more family oriented than most guilds. So he could only blame himself for the boring mess he got himself into. As he was about about to respond to the guild master , he saw an owl land on the other mages shoulder. "Thats odd", Yuno thought to himself. It wasent everyday that someone had an owl land on them , but then again there was no such thing as normal magic.

Shifting his focus back to the guild master , "Yuno Uchiha is my name and I have ability to manipulate Space & Time". He said looking directly at the guild master. He hated speaking out loud about his type of magic but at this moment he didnt really have a choice , it didnt seem like the time or the place to put up an argument over that. Especially since Yuno was the one asking for something and not the other way around. After introducing himself Yuno could see that the other mage had turned his back and appeared to be pouting like some child.

Yuno was about to mock the mage for acting like such a child , when something that appeared to be a fairy of some sort came hurling at Yuno, stopping only a few feet away from him. For a moment there Yuno was annoyed to have yet another thing interrupt him , but when the fairy started to speak to yuno in his mind. He couldnt help but to become slightly intrigued by the little creature , not enough to want to stop what he was doing. Yuno had heard the other mage call out , trying to stop his pet from bothering yuno but unfornetly the creature had plans of his own. "Hello creature of his", Yuno said back to the little fairy. He kept the same tone through out , not showing much or any emotion at all.

Mura switched his gaze between Yuno and Zachary. There was a spark between them given by Zachary’s sudden ‘what’ moment and Yuno’s harmful tongue. Geez, if Yuno wanted to enroll in the guild, then he would have to do far better than that. The shaman and Guildmaster held his chin in deep thought, trying to weave together a plan an execution that could ease things between them and, perhaps, make Yuno pull himself together.

Y’know, this attitude felt… familiar. Mura couldn’t put his tongue directly on it, but it reminded him of someone…

Yuno explained that his ability was to manipulate space and time. With the magical signature that his body was emitting, Mura assumed that he, in one way or another, had trouble with using that kind of magic to its full potential due to how straining it can be to manipulate such vast phenomenon. He assumed that based on his own experience seeing his wife utilize Time Magic and witnessing the stressful, rapid exhaustion growing on her face those few times they joined forces, but maybe Yuno was a prodigy who had cracked the code for using this magic without tiring himself out too quickly.

Little Astral wanted to learn more about Yuno, and the star-headed creature was genuinely intrigued by their guest. This gave Mura an idea.

“… Astral is very friendly with strangers, alright,” Mura commented the scene, “I’ll have to say that I’m surprised by your claim to control both time and space. Some would go for just one of those phenomenon, but both?” Continuing to hold his chin, Mura’s eyes closed as he processed a bit of focus before stating his intent. “If you don’t mind, then I’d like to see your power in action.” The shaman turned away from Yuno and approached nothing else than the counter near the entrance to the guild where most of the civilians of Magnolia would leave their requests. These requests were often tame and collective service; examples like lost items that were wanted to be found, guard duties, investigations and other lines of work could be found listed on the board behind the counter for all wizards of Fairy Tail to take.

One of these lines of work was destroying a bandit hideout outside of Clover Town. Perfect.

Mura returned to the two, ducktail-haired men and presented the paper. “I’d like you two to accompany me to Clover Town and complete this quest. If you manage to satisfy me with your content, then I’ll let you join the guild, Yuno.” Waiting for either of them to grab the paper to get a closer look, the shaman would continue, “I want to see if your magic holds promise as an asset in Fairy Tail. Think of it as your admission test.”

While gently patting Astral to lure it back from Yuno per Zachary’s wish to have his companion make distance from the guest, Mura would turn to the Celestial Wizard and say: “Zachary, you can come with us if you want to, but it’s not an order.”
