Polar Opposites
This was an unexpected development on this sunny day. It was pleasant and promising weather wise, that made most feel happy. However, the situation Zachary was in was unexpected. A day had passed since the new member joined Fairy Tail. It wasn't that uncommon to see new faces appear in the guildhall. Even with it being a lesser-known guild, still you had people who came for a variety of reasons. However, this guy was crude, cold, and rather unnerving to be around. He gave off a bad vibe, and Zachary's Stargazer eyes made it difficult to read him too.
So the last thing he thought of was to be called to the back of the guildhall-- and then to join up with a new recruit. To help them out and maybe even get to know him. Naturally, Zachary's first impression was a positive one. He was always willing to meet new people and help out.
... but he didn't think it is Yuno of all people.
Mura literally just said "here is your new partner" and took off with a wave. If their guild master wasn't so strong Zachary would have loved to sic Leo on him. He wanted to show him the ropes and get to know him-- but in truth, it was probably cause Mura noticed Zachary was often alone. He only really had interacted with his spirits, due to many members being different from him. Either the regulars drinking at the guildhall, or others he met off doing missions. So since Zachary was here now, he was encouraged to get to know others outside of his comfort zone.
So there he was, now alone with Yuno.
Zachary was quiet for a moment, unsure how to interact with the guy. He looked like a stare at him was judgemental. Of course, one person was oblivious to the tension of it all.
The adorable little star fairy on Zachary's head. Astral hovered curiously at the sight of the new boy, seeing his black hair and cloak. oooh... mouwing! Astral cheered in telepathy, his exact words being 'good morning'.
It might unnerve someone to hear such a cherubic voice in one's mind, but it would be up to Yuno how he felt about that. Still, Astral was the cheerful one to greet Yuno, unafraid and optimistic.
Still, Zachary was apprehensive how to get to know this guy out of the blue. True, Zachary was in the guild longer, but even he felt there was much he had to learn. For now, his Stargazer Eyes were not active, and he couldn't tell what kind of 'spiritual energy' the guy had. The brief glimpse he had the day they met was just a touch unsettling...
