The Rarest Flower [Job/xSaber]

Job: The Rarest Flower

Player Requirements: D-Ranked Wizards

Job Requirements: Find the mysterious white flower deep within the Spooky Forest! Minimum of 10 posts. Must defeat at least one batch of monsters. 150 words per post.

Job Location: Spooky Forest

Job Description: The medicinal shop in Magnolia can't seem too pay their workers enough too journey into the Spooky Forest too gather a specific type of flower needed as an ingredient in a powerful medicine. Find it for them! But watch out...something's lurking, stalking, snarling.

Enemies:

Weak: Goblin x3 (Who knows what they're doing, and why they've decided too follow you. But they are not friendly...at all. A few hits should clobber them out for the count though.)

Normal: Wild Pack Wolves x4 (Four wolves have been stalking you...and they've decided you're lunch! Defeat them with at least 2 hits on each one of them! They attack with claws and fangs, each will attack you once each round, roll too block!)

Strong: Lone Wolf (This wolf rolls solo, and that alone should prove how tough he is! He attacks you twice each round on his own. Every so often he'll attempt a pounce attack too pin you too the ground. Roll 3 "Block Die" if he does this. If you roll 2 or more Blocks, you don't get pinned. If you get pinned he bites you for "4 Attack Die", though you can still attempt too block. Take him out with 5 hits!)

Boss: Dire Wolf (This wolf is....huge too be honest. He stands about ten feet, quite big for a wolf, indeed. He'll attempt too run circles around you too confuse you, but stay focused! Every so often he'll dive in for an attempted bite or claw swipe against you. Roll 3 "Attack Die" each time he dives in for an attack! Roll 3 "Block Die" too see if you get away. If you don't block you'll be shredded for C-Ranked damage, be careful! His normal bite attack also deals C-Ranked damage and can truly hurt! Put him down with 10 hits! Good luck!)

One Afternoon, Fate, started walking through the paths of Spooky Forests, with nothing in her hands but her sword, and her armor. She seems to be walking in a rather joyful manner. Why? Well, because, it's Fate's first time to do a job and since it's her first time, she decided to take something very easy for her. Since she became a full-fledged member of Sabertooth, all that she seeks is the adventure and now, she starts her first.

This morning, she already came to the client and was able to talk about the job description so that Fate will have a further understanding of the situation at hand.

"The Flower lies deep within the Spooky Forests. Please, this may seem to be an easy task but be careful. No one knows what kind of various creatures are waiting for you there", said by the Client.

With the thought of the Client's description in mind, she became further more curious about the creatures that will be awaiting her inside the forests.

While walking, she took a paper from her pocket, unfolded it and started reading it. "Hmm... I wonder what kind of flower it is? I wasn't able to ask since I'm too eager... I guess Patience is a Virtue", the Knight said as she was scratching her head and chin in a curious manner while examining the job paper.

While she was walking and looked straight forward, she could already see signs of darkness such as corrupted trees, and fallen leaves. Because of those signs, she knew that she's near at the Forest. She could also hear the sounds of crows soaring around Spooky Forest. Her feelings was mixture of Excitement and Fear. She folded the paper that she was holding and hid it in her pocket.

As she walks through the paths towards Spooky Forest, a crow suddenly flew past her. She felt nothing but a bit of fear and surprise inside of her. Is that crow warning her of the dangers that lies inside the forest? or was it just having fun?

"Hmm... Something feels... Different", Fate said, talking to herself seeing how she is alone. With that thought in mind, she doubled her concentration in case somebody or something comes crashing down upon her. She also held her sword, Excalibur, so that she can fend off the monsters that will be surprising her.

After quite some time, she have already reached the Spooky Forests. As she tilted her head around, she could only see dead trees with no leaves, floating leaves, the dense ground, the owls hanging on branches and above the sky, she could hear and see the crows circling around the forest.

"Spooky Forest"

She stopped before entering. She first observed her environment like what a Knight would do. She swallowed her fear and started walking slowly with caution.

When she started her walk, sounds of cracking leaves and clanking armor overcame the silence making Fate very noticeable by enemies nearby. 'Coo....Coo....' As an owl made noises, Fate immediately looked at her back since she became too much cautious around her. "It was nothing....", Fate said softly, while breathing very deep.

As time passed by, Fate could sense some weird darkness growing very strong. In this part, she knew that she's nearing the core of the forest and she would avoid that since most of the strong monsters will be located there. She might get killed once she steps foot on their territorial part of the forest.

While looking, she could see a bright, while light emerging from the trees. "....?" Fate, herself, felt curious about that light and with enough bravery, she came to approach it. As she was walking, she could catch the cold and strong winds which made her chill a bit which climbed up towards her back, tickling her in fear.

The light grew brighter and brighter as she was approaching it closely but as she was doing this, she heard footsteps of creatures or humans running around her. She looked to her left as she heard this sound to that direction but saw nothing but the trees.

With caution, she reduced her walking speed so that she could catch these creatures who was observing. As she took a last step, she could see a flower, glowing in brightness. Such beauty made Fate stunned a bit. Because of that, she felt excited that her job has finished but... is it?

Before she could even lay a hand on the precious flower, monsters of various kind surrounded her. With her surprise, she immediately moved backward a bit being eaten by fear. When she moved back, she bumped on a tree and couldn't move anymore since she's surrounded. Because of the darkness of the forest, she couldn't clearly see their faces but can see their figures. She can see 9 of them standing with feet and 4 of them, both feet and arms on ground. "Who are you!"

"We... are the creatures of this forest."

"We don't really let anyone live after going through these forests", said by a creature with a very deep and mocking voice. The creature who was talking approached Fate who was standing on the tree, approached her, giving Fate visibility on it's face. She could see a short creature with a green and somehow, old skin. Perhaps the others look like it as well.

The others also approached after the first creature moved towards Fate. Because of that, she could see a huge set of goblins and a small set of wolves. "This is bad....", Fate said to herself while looking at the vile creatures surrounding her. "Now that you've seen our faces, you can die now", the goblin said.

"Kill her"

As the goblin commanded the others to kill Fate, they began to charge with force with goblins holding branches and wolves, with their fangs. Luckily, Fate was prepared for this kind of encounter. As the goblins began to slash her, she was able to circle around the tree dodge most of their attacks but an attack passed through so she got hit by a branch receiving minor damages.. The wolves charged at her but she simply jumped up, avoiding their attacks.

Status!

As she was still on air from her jump to be able to dodge the opponent's attacks, she started to glow and her equipment started to change.

"Requip!"

"Wha-? A Requip Wizard?", a goblin shouted in fear as it stepped back a bit. As she seen Fate requip into another armor, it began to feel fear inside.

Fate exclaimed as a bright golden light envelops around her, covering her entire figure in golden light and flaring her hair everywhere as the golden light wraps into her Flight Armor. She appeared somehow similiar to a Cheetah's look. She has a pair of ears and some parts of her armor has a pattern of a Cheetah's skin. She also received a pair of swords to be able to use for offense.

As she was about to make a safe landing, she immediately rushed towards the enemies and slashed them with sheer force and speed.

"Sonic Claw!", Fate announced as she passed through all the enemies in a blink of an eye and also, slashing them. As she was doing this spell, her speed increased greatly and she couldn't be seen easily yet most of the enemies were able to block.

"What the? What happened?", the goblin said as it looked around to be able to search for Fate. As it did, it only saw his comrades being mysteriously damaged. Their skin seem to be pierced through as they received a bleeding status. They bodies began to weaken.

Status!

Fate's spell has ended and she finished it off with a simple pose in which she is kneeling down on the ground with her arms crossed and her pair of swords are sticked on the ground. As she stood up, she uncrossed her arms as sounds of winds vibrating was heard due to the force on how Fate slashed the swords as she stood up.

"Gaaaah!", one of the goblins squealed as it was holding upon it's wound and blood was flowing. As it obtained the bleeding status, it began to knelt with one of it's arms holding the ground to maintain balance but as seconds passed by, their skin began to whiten because of the loss of blood and they began to fall. As for the wolves, their durable skin were still able to let them stand up but with a small amount of energy left.

"Are these the REAL enemies I have to encounter? Looks like they prove no challenge to me", Fate said in a mature tone while, instead of her face looking at the goblins, her back was faced to them.

The, somehow, leader of the goblins looked at Fate with an annoyed manner as a red cross appeared on it's head symbolizing it's anger.

"How... dare... you... kill... my.... Comrades... YOU WILL PAY BITCH!", the goblin shouted as it pointed it's finger to fate. "CHARGE MY FRIENDS! KILL HER AND AVENGE OUR COMRADES!"

The goblins and wolves joined forces as they attack Fate with such anger and passion in avenging their lost comrades. "Waaaaaaah!", the goblins shouted as a sign of a battle cry.

Because of the goblin's cry, Fate was alarmed and she looked back, seeing the goblins rushing towards her direction. Fate immediately crossed her sword to be able to block the first goblin's attacks but an attack was able to pass through. A branch, the goblin's weapon, hit her in her stomach part wherein there is no armor covered so she was able to receive some damage and because of her strong-will, she was able to suppress it long enough to survive the battle.

After the goblins came the wolves. They immediately pounced at Fate, who was blocking the goblins, as they used their claws to swipe out Fate. Because Fate was too busy managing the goblins, she was able to receive some attacks from the wolves. She received 2 scratches on both arms and it left a mark.

As all their attack ended, Fate immediately jumped back and breath deeply.
