Job Information: Can Mages Survive the Mall?

Quite how Magnus, of all of the people in Fairy Tail, had ended up in this situation was an absolute mystery. He'd never been 'shopping' in his life outside of grabbing food (which was much more akin to a hobby that actual shopping). Yet here he was outside of Magnolia Mall. Not only that, he was here with a child, a much smaller guildmate named Kumiko - a girl whose power, by whatever means, was roughly on par with his own. However, whilst her power was certainly up there, she was still only a child; she was young, naive, easily distracted and, perhaps most importantly - and likely the sole reason Magnus was here - the wild man had an odd desire to protect her. Protecting small folk was something he always did of course, but when it came to children it was much more of an instinctive decision than simply a moral one.
It was incredibly busy here today though and a part of the Chaos Mage was regretting agreeing to this. Every single shop had people queuing up to pay, people queuing to go down the aisles and even queuing just to get into the shops themselves. It was almost more than he could get his head around. Magnus closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath. The best way to handle this new environment was to change the way he viewed it. This wasn't just helping a guildmate; this was a job. The queues and the people around him - some looking surprisingly flustered and agitated - were objectives that needed to be handled and dealt with in order to complete the task. And the task was to get Kumiko in and out of all of the shops she wanted to visit without losing her or her getting harmed. He opened his eyes and mentally nodded to himself. His path now was clear.
He turned and looked down at his young guildmate, a warm smile on his face. "Where do you want to go first?" he asked, trying his utmost to control his usually boorish and booming voice so as not to scare her - not that he thought for a second she'd be scared of a guildmate, but he'd learned since joining the guild to never assume anything.
