Description
The Kageyama bloodline is ancient and powerful. The family is not well known and that has been part of why they have survived so long. To wield power in the spotlight is begging to have that power taken from you. Power wielded in shadows is power that can last generations. The Kageyama family tree has split into multiple branches over the years, costing some of its members the right to rule and the right to claim the benefits that come with the bloodline. However, Akemi Kageyama has positioned herself as the heir to the fortune, the heir to the power, and the heir to the ancient Kageyama Shadow Arts.

- Plot Abilities:
• Unrecognizable - While the Kageyama Clan is powerful and ancient, their members are known for being, well, unknown. Unless a Kageyama introduces themselves as such, their bloodline is magically protected from being tracked. That is to say, even knowing who her father is and that she is her father’s daughter, it is extremely difficult to connect Akemi as a Kageyama. [Requires permission from PCs and important NPCs. It’s kinda like no one seeing that Clark is Superman.]
• Shadow of a Mountain - While the clan is relatively unknown, its members possess higher than average charisma granting them an uncanny level of persuasion or intimidation when necessary. This has always allowed them to twist the minds of others. Their whispers, true and false, seem to hold a greater value. (Requires permission from PCs and important NPCs)
• Elegance - Connected to the above, the Kageyama clan always seems a bit more refined. Even in the most dangerous of situations, harrowing and physically damaging, they just seem to pull it off a bit better. They’re pretty people.
- Abilities:
- Abilities:
• Kageyama Fortune - The Kageyama clan has always had a way of bending the ear or twisting the arm of any people they work with, just enough to retain their services while also claiming a little more than what was promised. The wielder of this lineage gains +100% jewels to any job. However, if in a job with others, she takes only a +75%j increase, granting +25% jewels to any flunkies that might join her. Spreading wealth breeds loyalty, after all.
• Might of the Kageyama Clan - The members of the true clan are blessed with increased might, both physical and charismatic. Wielders of this lineage are granted +80% Strength and Movement speed, ranking up with the wielder to S Rank. Unfortunately their magical abilities suffer from a permanent -25% to spell power, spell speed and spell range respectively. This boon also grants one additional advanced spell to one magic, which can rank up to H+ and two additional signature spells for one magic which can rank up to S.
• Kageyama Shadow Arts - Of course, perhaps the greatest skill of the Kageyama clan has always been the silent ability to rid themselves of competitors. The silence of the grave is the best way to keep secrets secret. Their magic is plentiful and dangerous, their toxins and poisons of the upper echelon, and their skills constantly evolving. The user can cause a single spell of their rank or lower (Up to S) every [max spell duration] posts to additionally inflict a 50% debuff to the opponent's physical damage resistance for the duration of [Character Rank Debuff Duration] posts. Additionally, the masters of the arts claim a permanent +5% HP and MP regeneration per post. Finally, as those blessed in the Shadow Arts learn to use poisons both as boons and banes, their ability to heal with their magic is improved. Wielders gain [Rank Passive Buff, capped at S] to Spell Healing. This doesn't alter the detriments listed above.
