Description
Various powerful beings have been in charge of aspects of nature, from the beginning of time. Some were referred to as “gods”, whom people worshipped and loved or honored for their benefits; others were referred to as “demons”, known for their cruelty, wanton destruction and their unforgiving natures. These beings were feared, and sacrifices were made to appease their wrath or gain their favor.
Levinia Arx Creuset does not come from a long line of faithful worshippers; nay, she is rather a direct scion of some of these demiurges who had persisted in a different dimension. Having a divine ancestry, her body is outwardly identical to that of a human, but is innately quite different, and more powerful. Her heritage manifests as an aura of grace and power that gives the young woman several boons, which are quite distinct from her magic. She is the child of a union between a goddess of war, beauty and hunting, and a god of science, physical laws and invention, and still has some abilities of her own, based on her own power as a godling.
Abilities:
• Godling’s Might: By sheer force of physical might, demiurges have been known to shape entire worlds and stars as they wished, not to mention the insane physical strength war deities boasted of. Levinia possesses similar genes, and has a body that, although it looks and perhaps even feels fragile, is quite the opposite. She is capable of great feats of strength, easily able to move objects that even the most physically endowed would find very difficult, or even impossible to do, and can bench press objects weighing tens of tons! Her physical attacks are literally earth shaking, and very few may survive a direct hit from her fists. Virtually anything struck by her, while being unfortunate enough to be unable to defend against the attack, suffers a massive throwback effect (unless they are player characters, player controlled NPCs and event NPCs, who can determine the extent of the throwback). This is a 440% increase to her physical strength. At S-rank (which is the cap), her strength is boosted by 480%.
• Godling’s Grace: Her excellent work ethic, along with something else (which will be explained later), makes people always find her jobs to be way above satisfactory. This translates into a 100% extra jewels for every mission undertaken.
• Godling’s Arsenal: The gods of war had their special weapons which they were known for, artifacts of great power that made them feared. Levinia has access to such a divine arsenal, being able to lay claim to and use some of these items as she pleases. Whenever Levinia completes a mission, a weapon, item or armor piece that corresponds to the difficulty of the mission is granted her. These weapons/armors/items cannot be sold to shops or traded to players, but can be transferred among charactersmanhandled played by the OOC creature referred to as Digit on this site.
Plot Abilities:
• Godling’s Versatility: Being a child of a war goddess and a god of scientific inventions, Levinia can make a tool out of anything, and can easily figure out the purpose of a thing without having anyone teach her. This majorly applies to weaponry and technology, making her a natural weapon meister, and a cunning manipulator of devices. So, while she may not use the object in the orthodox way, she will still get it to work just as effectively, if not even more so. Also, she is very intelligent and academically astute, having knowledge on most subject matters (having knowledge of anything developed by a player character must receive approval, not to mention that she should have an explainable means of getting by that information).
• Godling’s Focus: It would appear the forces of nature go easy on Levinia much more than the average person. She seems to be more agile than the average person, and her balance and coordination are among the best of the best. This allows her to perform physics-defying maneuvers and react very impressively in combat. She is also well versed in many forms of armed and unarmed combat.
• Godling’s Charm: Levinia is just pretty captivating, thanks to her being the daughter of a goddess of beauty. It’s hard to explain, but people are naturally attracted to her and want to be helpful, even without her making any effort to be alluring. It doesn’t always have to be a sexual attraction; in fact even the raunchiest perverts will find themselves doing her favors without even thinking of any... payment. The bottom line is that she can easily squeeze out favors from even the most hard-hearted persons. Her charm doesn’t work all the time, though; player characters, player controlled NPCs and event NPCs can determine whether to fall for her charms or not. Also, she seems to have a calming effect on most people, with her presence alone exuding some sort of soothing aura that relaxes frayed nerves. This power cannot override the desire of an enemy to harm her, though.
• Godling’s Scrying: Levinia has the psychic ability to read “events”, this being her own personal power. She can “see the flow of Time” to glean information off the environment and objects. Seeing the flow of Time lets her see into an object’s past, or even future. When viewing the history of an object, or the environment, Lev can watch everything that happens around the object (to the extent of her magic sensory range) in a “rewind” state, or can “rewind and play” the memories, but she cannot interact with any object in the past she is viewing. She can “pause” the viewing, so as to get a better interpretation of things, and can obtain an understanding of an object’s condition during the viewing. This makes her a very good huntress, as her powers can also detect information that can be registered by any of her magics capable of sensing. Seeing the future is a lot more tasking and confusing, though, as the future is mostly indeterminate, and she ends up with multiple paths that end up jumbled and barely decipherable. In a few cases, though, she gets to see visions of the future clearly (purely for plot purposes, and nothing else). Permission must be obtained for her to successfully see the flow of Time on any items belonging to player characters, important/event NPCs and player controlled NPCs, and of course, to use the precognition in any way that would affect such characters.
