Sarah had agreed to help train Thea, but she hardly knew the girl, so figuring out a good way to train her was proving difficult. Sarah was also about due for another vacation, and felt as though dragging Thea along would be a good way for the two of them to bond. After a lot of planning, spending a moderate amount of money, and arriving in Midi, the two spent the night at a hotel the day before the Bushido Sensou, which was a festival celebrating the traditions of the region. Sarah was excited when someone asked if she and Thea would participate in the tournament, as one of the finalists had to drop out due to a mysterious illness. She responded without thinking, as she felt this was a good way to bond and train at the same time. "Sure, why not?" The person told them where the fight would take place, as well as the rules, and when to be there. They still had a few hours though, and Sarah wanted to talk with Thea a bit, to learn more about her. "So, the folks that raised you, they were kinda strict, right? What sort of things do you like to do?"
