Hewwo, Kumi! Mura here!
What a skilled and [b]eautiful wizard you're becoming! I guess it's time to up the expectations of you from ya Guildmaster, so this time, Kumi might have to be careful... but this is always to be expected of a skilled wizard of your caliber.
People at the hunting village known as... well, Hunting Village suddenly woke up to all their crops prematurely harvested by someone. Not only are they now lacking crops planned to be havested for this year's winter, but in deep fear of how this all happened in one night without any witnesses has made them paranoid and afraid of each other. The chief of the Hunting Village thinks that they have been raided by a neighboring village, but the people aren't really loyal to each other - now, eager to blame their own village and neighbors of this atrocity, one brave soul has contacted Fairy Tail to come and help with this massive problem and to find the lost crops, which is what Mura sends you to try and solve. Here's a map from Magnolia to Hunting Village (you can take the train and then walk the rest of the way, but this is optional):
At first, it looks like a classic investigation NCIS style, but there's more to it once Kumiko arrives...
The crops are told to have approximately three days before they rot and cannot be re-planted. This information is given to you by Ace, the boy who requested Fairy Tail's assistance. If the crops die out, that will mean a huge loss in food and stocks for the villagers. Therefore, use your sense of deduction and critical thinking on top of your sharp, bodily senses as both a kitsune and as a Dragon Slayer to find them - he even showed you those two terms 'deduction' and 'critical thinking' and their meanings on a dictionary before sending you off (lol).
However, it will turn out that all the prematurely harvested crops - however Kumiko manages to find them - are all stored in a lair under the chief's house, singling him out as the culprit! It turns out that the Chief has used some kind of Darkness Magic to cloak himself in the middle of the night, and with that, he took all the crops for himself without anyone noticing.
When Kumiko brings that up to light, she must take on the Chief for jeopardizing his village and compensating his own brethren just to keep his own stomach full. The Chief will not give up and will fight against you until he is either knocked out, dismembered or killed. Once the crops have been taken back to the villagers and re-planted, they will reward Kumiko with lots of horns and tusks from slain prey...
And regardless of Kumiko's choices in this, the villagers will decide to burn the Chief's body in a bonfire afterwards.
No matter what, be brave and stay wild! And come back and tell Mura about all that you've been through!
