Reporting for Duty

Solomon will be riding in her Chopper the Aries Rotocross towards the tallest Snowy Mountain that would have the Guild Hall of the Silver Wolf Guild in it, Solomon had heard about the skilled from many people telling her stories of it and what they're about,   needless to say Solomon was indeed curious perhaps it would help her and her Endeavor to help people,  in return she could help them with their artifact hunting and guarding. either way I said we get closer to the top of the mountain the wind started getting a bit more violent and a snowstorm started to appear,  as The Aries Rotocross then began to land.

“Ma’am  we cannot go any further into the storm without risking damage to the vehicle you have to continue on foot  for now.”   they would say over a com as they landed.

Solomon will give a deep sigh but not calling back.  “ very well just be careful not to crash these things are expensive”  she said with a slight chuckle as she hopped off feeling the cold air against her know that she was out of the worm vehicle.

She will look back up to see it taking off again carefully not to get tipped over by the storm and so I can head back over but maintaining an altitude where it could come back if needed. what's that Solomon would look towards the storm and slowly walk through it up the mountain to try to find a Guild Hall. As she made her way through the storm relying on some of her previous training she gripped her rifle tighter continue in a walk not wanting to use magic at the current moment why don't you save it just in case Any trouble were to arise, though luckly for her she would be forunate enough not to have that happen as eventually do walking through the snow she would clear the blizzard and it feels so warm that she looked up on a Guild Hall suddenly,  giving a small smile she would walk up to the doors of the guildhall sling the rifle over her shoulder opening the doors and walking in.  

she would walk inside the warm atmosphere looking around the interior of the guildhall feeling almost a sensation of a cabin Looking around the dark wood that Encompass its walls and the glow of the candle was making it seem an orange hue she would kick off the snow on her boots at the door before walking further inside holding her rifle strap looking around with a bit of a smile enjoying it much more in here rather than out in the snow even in the warmer areas.  

“Hello...is anyone here?” She would call out looking around the warm interior as she stood there not wanting to trespass any more into the guild then she already had she just want to get out of the doorway as she stood there waiting for someone to answer her call,  hoping that just walking in wasn't a mistake however she didn't want to be out of the snow for now.

-The Guild Library-

Sitting in the guild library and wearing her special Celestial fabric blue, white, and gold outfit with Argent Gloves, Leona was busy reading a magazine called Earthland Technology Digest to try and understand how technology worked. The focus of the article she was reading was the ubiquitous portable communications device known as the iLac; the article went into detail about how its technology and the lacrimanet worked to take pictures, download and play music files, send text messages, and perform more functions in an easy-to-use format. Leona was making a serious effort to read and understand the article's contents by getting away from distractions. She had went to the effort to try reading the magazine in the library instead of in her office, but even without distractions it was slow going.

Desierto was not exactly known for its technological innovations. While the Tri-Council Cities had some technology in the form of iLacs and computers, the computers tended to be older models that were a decade or two out of date, sometimes even older. Leona had never even seen a computer until she went to the Tri-Council City after being exiled from Nebdoui. She knew very little about them, but she was determined to change that soon by reading technical magazines and getting her hands on an older computer to practice using one. Leona had heard that Mercury was handy with technology, but the blonde wanted to learn to use it for herself so that she did not always have to lean on guild members for help with the subject.

"Guild Mistress, there's someone waiting in the guild entrance." An older guild staff member informed Leona at about the same time she had sensed a magic signature.

"Thank you. I'll see about the person and what they want." Leona said to the staff member. Leona stood up, pushed her chair back in, and closed the magazine before handing it to the staff member and leaving the library to go to the guild entrance.

-Inside the guild hall foyer-

Leona walked to the foyer and spotted a person who was a few inches shorter than she was waiting just inside the entrance as if wary of going any further into the guild hall. Leona would try to set the person at ease and see what they wanted. Perhaps they were interested in joining Silver Wolf, but she would not jump to conclusions before meeting with the new person.

"Hi there. I'm Leona Jarnefeldt, the Guild Mistress of Silver Wolf. What can I do for you?" Leona introduced herself to the person.

Solomon would be waiting  the Guild Hall entrance for a second until a blond-haired woman walk down and over to her. But she introduced herself as the guild Mistress of the Guild Hall Leona, Solomon would pause remembering the name.   all she didn't know much about this person she didn't know she was a very accomplished Mage in the world.   Though Solomon would look at her before giving a small nod of approval.

“Hello Leona, my name is Mavis Solomon…. though I insist you just call me Solomon.” she would pause to collect your thoughts for one moment before continuing. “ I come here today hoping to join your guild and help your endeavors,  and hopefully get some help with my Endeavors in the process….”  

Should I was hoping that you would be allowed to join the guild,  hoping that they would allow her entrance.  from what she knows about this place that they don't require  anything specific to join the guild however Solomon was ready to be put to the test if necessary.   she would give a small Smile as she waited for Leona's response to her inquiry. However this is Soloman felt she needed to prove herself even further she would continue to speak for that moment.  

“I have many assets that will help you and your guild and I heard you guys seek out dangerous magic items to keep safe, I would like to help with his never so I can keep other people safe and that matter... so that is my reason for wanting to join and what I would like help with…. I just want to keep people safe at the end of the day.”

Solomon would say Looking at the guild mistress hoping that she didn't overstep her boundaries by being so presumptuous however she want to make sure she got her point across but with that should give us a smile and wait for the guild Mistresses answer now hoping that she would be allowed to join the Silver wolf guild and what not. However she did not want to assure that she was a member already so what that should quietly wait there to see what the guild Mistress of the of the guild would have to say on the matter.

"Hello Solomon. Welcome to Silver Wolf Guild Hall." Leona welcomed the newcomer, whose name was Mavis Solomon but who preferred to be called Solomon. The newcomer had stated the intention of joining the guild and offering to help with its endeavors, but in return they wanted help with their endeavors. However, Solomon did not phrase the last part as a demand but instead as a request, a quid pro quo for the services that she offered to the guild.

"We need all the help we can get, Solomon. If you're interested, we'd be glad for you to join the Hunters, the division of the guild that specializes in the finding and retrieval of dangerous magic items. There are also Scholar and Defender divisions. I can tell you about those if you'd like." Leona said to Solomon, offering to explain the other two divisions of the guild in case she was interested in hearing about them. Leona had taken a look at the guild roster and saw that there was plenty of room for new members who were able and willing to help the guild with its mission. However, the benefits of membership did not flow only one way. As the guild benefited from the work of its members, members benefited from Silver Wolf's access to steady work, physical safety and lodging within the guild hall, and guaranteed source of food, along with other amenities.

Leona looked at the smiling Solomon and wondered what "endeavors" Solomon needed help with. It would be a good idea to ask, if only to break the ice and assure the new person that the benefits of guild membership did not flow only one way.

"If I may ask, what sort of endeavors did you need help with?" Leona politely asked Solomon. The decision as to whether to tell the Guild Mistress or not was hers. The offer to be permitted to join Silver Wolf did not hinge on Solomon's answer and she was free to refuse without penalty.

Soloman have bought about her proposal a hunting division, going out and seeking the artifacts and securing them for the guild. she could do that that was easy enough for her however it was a little more curious about how much should I drop retain foot before she would ask the guild mistress Leona wood inquire about what Soloman would want out of this deal. Cheered pause and think about it for a moment, trying to think about the right way to Ward it was so it didn't sound like a demand or something that was needed. she thought for only a moment before speaking.

“Well I built my life around wanting to help other people, in times of crisis, and in times of need manly, but overall I just want to do right by people…. my objective is to save as many people as I can when they need saving, when a crisis happens I will be there and I want assistance in that matter, even with my vast resources that I have that are growing I'm still one person... it may be selfish of me to ask but I would like some assistance with this matter when I need it... in return I will happily help you find any of the magical artifacts that you were looking for as it also goes with with my goal of helping people keeping that stuff out of bad people's which would be the proper solution…”

she would say trying to make sure that she made it very clear and her points were concise. however she thought about it for a moment and didn't want to make this all about business, I killed with more than a business there was more than just a fighting force it was a family, and even though of course that she had under her disposal or like a family to her she would never just throw them away willingly, so is that she would add on to her previous statement.

“Along with this I'm looking for a place to call home for now, I have a few warehouses were things around that have a few small facilities but none of them are home and none of them have the companionship aspect of it for lack of better terms so I would like to remedy that as well if that's okay, I hope my answer has answered your question…. and as for the other ones I don't call myself a scholar but I'm happy to be a hunter or Defender if needed if you don't mind tell me a bit about those rolls though before I fully commit I would be most appreciative.”

Solomon said maintaining her smile not wanting to, give any false intentions she was happy that she was accepted and that the guild Mistress of this go seem to be a reasonable and kind woman so far so with that the very least you can listen to each one of the other roles and go where they needed her to go after all these were more people that sounded like they needed help, and who was she to say no.

Leona listened to Solomon lay out what it was that they wanted in return for their helping Silver Wolf with its mission and found it to be reasonable. In exchange for helping Silver Wolf, Solomon wanted help with her mission to save lives whenever a crisis struck. As the Wizard Saint of Courage and someone who also did what they could to help whenever disaster struck, Leona could respect that goal.

"I can respect that goal, Solomon. As the Wizard Saint of Courage, I do the same thing myself. I tend to go into the most dangerous areas and do what I can to weed out threats before they grow too big to contain. If you ever need help and I'm available, I'll join you on your travels." Leona explained to the youth, offering her help if it was needed. The taller blonde recalled her fight against demons in Fat Monsterland, her fight against the werewolves that had overrun Lycuston and were threatening to overrun Wolfsmane, and her fight against the Balor in the zombie-infested town of Fulci. Each of them involved going into danger zones and actively fighting threats as opposed to arriving to help after the disaster, but the intent was the same as Solomon's. Perhaps the two should work together some time, which was most likely what Solomon meant by wanting help with her mission. Leona was not opposed to that, especially when it came to working with a fellow Silver Wolf member... should Solomon decide to join up.

Leona then remembered that Solomon wanted a place to call home because the latter was growing tired of living in small warehouses that were really not homes. Leona could identify with that longing for somewhere comfortable to live. During her brief tenure as a Guildless mage who stayed on the road and took work wherever she could find it, she did not have a set home to return to. She stayed in inns when possible and roughed it when she could not. By the time she found out about Talonia Leona was already part of Silver Wolf... not that that was a problem.

"We've got plenty of rooms here, Solomon. Each member of Silver Wolf gets their own room and they can decorate it however they want." Leona informed her. Silver Wolf's guild hall could expand as needed to accommodate new members, so there was never a shortage of living space for new arrivals. That was a handy feature of the guild hall, one that saved the guild a sultan's ransom in construction costs.

"The Hunters go out into the world to seek magical artifacts and bring them back to the guild hall to keep them out of the wrong hands such as necromancer cults, demon-worshipping cults, or Dark guilds. The Defenders are responsible for protecting the guild hall and the guild vault to keep the artifacts we gather safe from thieves. A guild member in any division can bring back any magic item they find on their travels, but the Hunters make that their full-time job, if you will. All guild members have to defend the hall if it comes under attack, but Defenders do that as their primary responsibility." Leona gave a brief rundown of the responsibilities of the Hunters and the Defenders. She had only hit the important points and did not delve into full detail because she did not want to bore Solomon with minutiae if she only wanted to hear the important points. If Solomon did happen to be interested in the details and requested the full story, Leona or the Aces would be happy to oblige and tell the full story of the three divisions.

Solomon will listen to the roles carefully trying to think what would best suit her and her people, though when she finished she thought about for another moment before speaking up, having decided going with the hunters as it would involve more fieldwork in defending the guild was a must-have anyway, so she can double dip into Defenders when necessary. aside from that she had plenty of technological support so she wasn't too worried about it. Solomon would then give a small smile happy to join a guild at this point taking one more brief look around before Looking Back In The Guild mistress Leona.

“Well assuming it's okay for me to join your guild from the sounds of it is though, you can sign me up for the hunters, I prefer field work anyway so it will work out better that way.” she would stay as she looked at Leona giving a bit of an odd and a small smile but then things worse off wondering if it was okay for vehicles flew up this high after all she would rather like having her gear or some of it nearby would be a problem if they couldn't but better to check.

“AlsoI don't know if it will be a problem with my vehicle's fly through the storm to come get up here, they can get through the storm but I don't want to intrude on aerospaced or anything of that nature just figured I would ask before anything happened hate for them to get blown out of the sky…. they were really expensive” she says with a very light chuckle, but hinted that part of it was a joke but also part of it was very true in the sense that they were very expensive and she didn't want them being destroyed. “At the moment I don't have many I just have a single aircraft but I don't want to have it be a burden on your territory so I thought I'd ask if not I can stay outside the storms View.”

Solomon would say what a bit of a trifle sense to it, she was quite proud of any and all her equipment she has acquired over the time and hopefully we'll get the more however, for her it was better to verify with her new leader. low from first impression Solomon was very pleased with what she was seeing and was glad to be here as she waited for Leona's answer.

After listening to the description of the Hunters and the Defenders, Solomon had decided upon joining the Hunters since she preferred field work to hanging around the Guild Hall. Leona could understand that decision since she tended to stay on the road doing one job or another. When Desierto was not her destination, she was usually helping the Order of Lightbringers with one task or another. Now that Solomon had chosen which Division she had wanted to join, Leona had to focus on Solomon's next question, which had to do with the method of transportation she had taken to get up here.

According to Solomon, she had used an aircraft to fly all the way up here, a scenario that Leona had never anticipated. Solomon had offered to take the craft elsewhere in case its presence violated the airspace above the guild hall. The taller blonde had to think this through... Silver Wolf had sovereignty within its territory, but she had never encountered the issue of an aircraft within guild hall airspace before. Rather than fumble about for an answer, it was time to tell the truth to Solomon.

"Honestly, we've never had an aircraft in our airspace before. I'll also admit that we don't have a hangar for aircraft." Leona told Solomon truthfully.

"It may be best if you move your aircraft to a safer location until we get things sorted out, Solomon." Leona suggested to Solomon. She had no idea how much it cost, but she did not want the new member to lose their transport to a capricious storm and sour on Silver Wolf because of it. Leona knew from personal experience that money was hard to earn but easy to spend. Since Solomon was fairly new, they did not have the savings that the Wizard Saint did, so it would be best to take the expensive aircraft to a safer place until a hangar was built or other accommodations were made.
