Caster or Holder: Lost / Holder
Description: The Holder of the Arcana magic uses an ancient deck of cards as a medium. Every single card has its own effects. The Holder uses the cards to summon the power of the Arcane Realm in various ways. However, the effects of the card a tailored to the user of the deck. Every Holder of Arcana magic is different. This magic is unpredictable and mysterious, as the opponent never knows what Spell is used until the card is played and activated. The Minor Arcana supports the Major Arcana. It has 4 types/suits of cards and there are 14 cards per suit. These cards are not used individually but per suit. The 4 types are: Wands, Coins, Cups and Swords.
( To those who do not know what deck of cards I'm talking about, it's a Tarot deck. Look it up. )
Strengths:
- All Major Arcana Spells have a regular and a Reverse Spell. Which one is used depends on the way the Holder activated the card. The regular effect is activated when the card is in the regular position. The Reverse effect is activated when the card is upside-down.
- It is incredibly unpredictable for an unexperienced opponent.
- All cards have very different effects and offer the Holder a wide range of possibilities.
Weaknesses:
- The Holder needs the deck in order to cast his magic.
- The Holder is limited to the effects provided by the cards, he cannot manipulate or control the effects further than the cards allow. Which makes it very hard to improvise.
- The Holder needs to take his time learning the Spells of the cards individually. Even regular and reverse need to be practiced separately. Controlling the regular position does not necessarily mean controlling the reverse position.
Abilities/Powers:
- Supernatural Gift: While Zeno depends on his cards as a Holder, and does not have any passive abilities like most Casters, he does have one of the highest amounts of magical energy and power ever recorded. While it is usually dormant, he can awaken it when he feels like his life is on the line.
- Arcana Force: As a result of his Supernatural Gift, he can unleash the immense amount of magical power through his cards and body. Immense pressure is released from his body while he is in Arcana Force allowing him to overpower his opponent with pure intimidation and sheer physical power. He also has much more magical energy available, allowing him to use his Arcana Spells without feeling exhausted. It pretty much works the same way as a serious adrenaline rush but on both physical and magical level. However, it is extremely addicting. Zeno's body craves it after it runs out and he will go into a few days of withdrawal afterwards.

Name: Eternal Eclipse
Rank: H
Type: Major Arcana
Description: The Eternal Eclipse is a spell Zeno spent over a decade developing in solitude and with full dedication as he went through his spiritual cleansing in the monestary. The spell was designed to tap into all of his power, his entire being: the body, the mind and the soul. Zeno created this spell as a token of gratitude to the monks who saved him and Fiore from himself. In order to activate it, Zeno must have tapped into his Arcana Force. His entire deck of cards dissolves into energy, that first swirls around Zeno like a vicious tornade that then seems to implode. The energy flies into him, and takes all the light within a radius of 10 kilometers with it. Every single light source is extinguished instantly and nothing within the radius can produce light. All active S Rank or lower Spells are deactivated and put into cooldown. Nobody within the radius can cast any spells and vision is completely disabled. The Eternal Eclipse is a massive dome of complete and utter darkness. At this point, Zeno will have absorbed all the magical energy inside the radius and his Arcana Force has gone into overdrive. The dome itself is a rift to the Arcane Realm, but Zeno is the only one who can experience it that way. He can see both dimensions overlapping, and while in his own world everything is completely dark, it is not the case in the Arcane World. As a result, to Zeno every object and living being inside the dome is a shadowy figure, a dark silhouette in an abstract world of swirling energy, figures, colours and shapes. This grants him the unique ability to orientate himself and others within the dome. Only physical performance counts inside the dome, and his Arcana Force together with the absorbed magical energy of those inside boost his to surreal levels.
Strengths:
- No Spells can be cast within a 10 km radius
- All light sources are extinguished and vision is disabled.
- Zeno's physical capabilities hit extreme levels beyond regular Arcana Force.
Weaknesses:
- Zeno himself cannot cast any spells either.
- This spell will have the same drawback of Arcana Force only much worse. He will need a week and a half of recovery. He is pretty much done fighting or casting spells after this spell.
- Allies are not saved from this spell.
- Active spells that do not produce light remain active until the duration is over, but can no longer be controlled by the caster.

- Duration: 7 posts [ expands over a 5 km radius in the first post, expands over a 10 km radius in the second post ]

Name: Judgement
Rank: S Rank
Type: Major Arcana
Description: One of the Major Arcana cards appears in the Holder's hand in the regular position, this time the card does not dissolve. An immense beam of white Arcane Energy is fired from the center of the card. The destructive power of the Spell is devastating. Both objects, living beings and spells are obliterated in the blast.
Strengths:
- Can destroy any Spell that is S-Rank or lower.
- Desintegrates whatever it hits, PCs will not be obliterated but will receive an immense amount of damage.
- Has a huge range ( travels a distance of 300 meters ) and is very difficult to dodge. ( the diameter of the beam is 8 meters )
Weaknesses:
- When another non-physical S-Rank Spell is opposed to this one, both cancel one another out.
- When another physical S-Rank Spell is opposed to this one, the damage to the opponent will be minimized, but it will still be significant.

Name: The World
Rank: S
Type: Major Arcana
Description: A card appears in the Holder's hand. Before the card dissolves into arcane energy, it sends out a shockwave that repels any B Rank or lower attack. The card then dissolved and another shockwave is sent out in all directions at an incredible speed. Upon impact with the caster(s) of the spell(s) that initially got repelled by the first shockwave are sent flying and all spells that are B Rank or higher of the same magic type as the spell that got initially repelled are put into cool down. The shockwave deals blunt damage with enough force to blast through A rank or lower defenses. Mages that did not have any of their spells repelled by the first shockwave only take damage from the shockwave itself. The maximum radius of the first shockwaves before it fades away is 100 meters. The maximum radius of the second shockwave before it fades away is 200 meters. The shockwaves reach a radius of 200 meters in 1 second.
Strengths:
- Repels any B Rank or lower spell with Shockwave 1
- Can put B Rank and higher spells of the same type(s) into cool down with Shockwave 2
- Shockwave 2 can blast through A Rank or lower defenses and deal significant blunt damage.
Weaknesses:
- A Rank or higher spells cannot be repelled with Shockwave 1
- C Rank or lower spells can still be used after Shockwave 2
- Cool down effect only applies to spells of the same magic type(s).
- Shockwave 2 cannot blast through S Rank defenses.

Name: The Sun
Rank: A - Rank
Type: Major Arcana
Description:
One of the Major Arcana cards appears in the Holder's hand in the regular position, after which it dissolves and turns into an enormous red, round plate of Arcane Energy. The plate is shaped like a sun with solar rays coming out of the sides as curvy spikes. The plate spins around clockwise at an incredible speed. Any non-physical attack that collides with the plate ( on the Holder's side ) is absorbed, then magnified, increased in power and then unleashed from the center on the other side of the plate. Physical attacks will be blocked.
Strengths:
- If absorbed and unleashed during the same post: Power X 1.5
- After one post: Power X 2
- After two posts: Power X 2.5
- Can be used as a shield to a certain extend.
Weaknesses:
- Cannot absorb physical attacks.
- Physical A-Rank or high will break the plate.
- All S-Rank attacks will break the plate, except for Major Arcana ones.
- Cooldown: 5 Posts
- Duration: Max. 2 posts / instant

Name: The Moon
Rank: A Rank
Type: Major Arcana
Description:
One of the Major Arcana cards appears in th eHolder's hand in the upside-down position, after which it dissolves and turns into an enormous white, round plate of Arcane energy. The plate is shaped like a full moon, round and with grey circles on the white. The plate then spins around counter-clockwise at an incredible speed. Any non-physical attack that collides with the Wheel ( on the opposite side of the Holder ) is absorbed, minimized and decreased in power, then unleashed from the center on the other side of the plate.
Physical attacks will be blocked to a certain extend.
Strengths:
- The power of absorbed Spells is immediately divided by 3.
- Can be used as a shield to a certain extend.
Weaknesses:
- Cannot absorb physical attacks.
- A Rank or higher physical attacks will break the plate.
- All S-Rank attacks will break the plate, except for Major Arcana ones.
- Cooldown: 5 posts.
- Duration: Instant.

Name: The Star
Rank: A Rank
Type: Major Arcana
Description:
One of the Major Arcana cards appears in the Holder's hand in the regular position after which it dissolves and becomes a shining sphere of yellow Arcane energy.
The Holder then indicates one already active spell. The sphere morphs and dissolves to become an exact copy of that spell under the Holder's control.
This only works with non-physical attacks.
Strengths:
- All the strengths of the copied spell.
Weaknesses:
- Cannot copy S Rank spells.
- Only works on non-physical spells.
- Has the same power as the original spell. ( Copied B Rank spell doesn't become S Rank )
- All the weaknesses of the original spell.
- Cooldown: 1 post longer than the original spell.
- Duration: same as original spell.

Name: The Tower
Rank: B Rank
Type: Major Arcana
Description: One of the Major Arcana cards appears in the Holder's hand in the regular position after which it dissolves and becomes a swirling mass of blue Arcane energy around the Holder's hand. The Holder then fires it onto a surface after which Arcane crystals rise out of the ground attaching to anything it hits. The crystals then rapidly imprison and immobilize the attached object or person within an Arcane crystalline structure. ( Ex.: Holder fire the energy onto the ground,Arcane crystals rise out of the ground, attach to a foot, imprison the whole lower body in an Arcane crystalline structure. )
Strengths:
- The crystal tower can only be destroyed by A-Rank or higher Spells.
- The Arcane crystals are incredibly heavy.
Weaknesses:
- The structure can be shattered by A-Rank or higher Spells without splash damage.
- Duration: 3 posts
- Cooldown: 4 posts

Name: The Wheel of Fortune
Rank: B Rank
Type: Major Arcana
Description:One of the Major Arcana cards appears in the Holder's hand in the regular position after which it dissolves and becomes a large wheel of Arcane energy. The wheel spins around clockwise at a very high speed. The Holder then designates an already active Spell and lets the wheel collide with it. The Wheel affects the targetted Spell's relationship with time. Speeding up the Spells duration, movements, etc.
Strengths:
- The targetted spell will run out 2 turns earlier.
- Potentially minimizes the damage of certain Spells.
Weaknesses:
- Targetted Spell will travel a certain distance twice as fast.
- Targetted Spell will [ appropriate verb ] twice as fast.
- Duration: Until the targetted Spell's duration is over.
- Cooldown: 4 turns.

Description: One of the Major Arcana cards appears in the Holder's hand in the regular position after which it dissolves and becomes a large wheel of Arcane energy. The wheel spins around counterclockwise at a very high speed. The Holder can make the wheel collide with a Spell and invert all of its properties.
Strengths:
- Advantages might become disadvantages.
Weaknesses:
- Disadvantages might become advantages.
- Duration: Until the targetted Spell runs out.
- Cooldown: 4 posts

Name: The Magician
Rank: C Rank
Type: Major Arcana
Description:
One of the Major Arcana cards appears in the Holder's hand in the regular position, after which it dissolves and becomes an Arcane phantom Magician. The Magician is cloaked in dark purple shadows and wears the other half of Zeno's mask. He then flies into Zeno and 'posesses' him, even though Zeno is still in control. Zeno is then cloaked in dark purple shadows wearing a full Venetian mask. He can control the shadow cloak to wrap around his arms so he can create streams of dark purple, Arcane energy bolts out of it. The bolts combust on impact and can cause bruises and burn wounds.
The bolts are fired at a certain rate but after a certain amount of fired bolts Zeno will need to recharge. He can use this power until the duration of the spell is over.
Strengths:
- Zeno can choose at what rate he wants to fire the bolts.
- Works up close as well as from a distance.
Weaknesses:
- 1 bolt can deal significant damage from up close, however multiple bolts are required to get the same result over a distance.
- Zeno can only fire 5 bolts from each hand per post.
- Only one posession can occur at a time.
- Cooldown: 3 Turns
- Duration: 3 Turns

Name: The Devil
Rank: C Rank
Type: Major Arcana
Description:
One of the Major Arcana cards appears in the Holder's hand in the regular position, after which it dissolves and becomes an Arcane phantom Devil. The Devil has a bloodred skincolour and its goat legs are covered in dark brown fur. It has two devlish tails and a pair of horns, long and sharp black teeth and nails, white eyes and long black hair. The phantom then flies into Zeno and 'posesses' him, even though Zeno is still in control. Zeno then grows the same pair of horns, tails, claws, teeth. He even gains a dark red skin colour. His cloak is covered in dark brown fur. The clothes on his upper body burn away to ashes instantly.
Zeno's physical strength and speed are insanely increased during the posession.
Everytime he strikes, Arcane energy is released from his body to increase the damage.
Strengths:
- Zeno's physical power grows immensely.
- The released Arcane energy increases the blunt damage of his physical attacks, and causes burn wounds.
Weaknesses:
- Zeno cannot use any other Major Arcana spells during the posession. Unless the ones that are already active until their duration runs out.
- Only one posession can occur at a time.
- Cooldown: 3 Turns
- Duration: 3 Turns

Name: The Emperor
Rank: C Rank
Type: Major Arcana
Description: One of the Major Arcana cards appears in the Holder's hand in the regular position, after which it dissolves and becomes an Arcane phantom Emperor. The phantom is wearing a long black cape with fur around the neck, a golden crown, a stylish Gothic attire completed with rings on the gloves and a katana in his hand. The Emperor then flies into Zeno and 'posesses' him, even though Zeno is still in control. Zeno gains the same crown, cape, attire and sword. The katana is made out of red Arcane energy, the blade is long and so is the handle. But it weighs nearly nothing and can be used as both a one-handed or two-handed weapon. What sets it apart from a regular katana aside from its weight is that it releases Arcane energy on the point of impact. In addition to cutting, the Arcane energy adds a blow-back effect with every hit. Slightly repelling whatever it hits while cutting it, increasing the damage as well.
Strengths:
- Zeno cannot use any other Major Arcana spells during the posession. Unless the ones that are already active until their duration runs out.
- Can cut through anything that is C Rank or lower.
- The blade repels while it cuts. Increasing the damage and allowing space between the katana and whatever it hits after impact.
Weaknesses:
- Only one posession can occur at a time.
- Cooldown: 3 Turns
- Duration: 3 Turns
- D Spells:
Name: The Chariot
Rank: D Rank
Type: Major Arcana
Description:
One of the Major Arcana cards appears in the Holder's hand in the regular position, after which it dissolves and turns into a large Gothic chariot pulled by one black pegasus steed, one white pegasus steed, one black sphinx and one white sphinx. The whole chariot and the four beasts are phantoms of Arcane energy. The chariot is a gateway between the world of the Arcane and the real world. It is used for interdimensional transportation. It can carry up to four passengers.
Once the sphinxes and pegasus steeds dash off, the chariot and its passengers pass through an interdimensional wormhole through the Arcane world. They travel at such a high speed that it appears to be teleportation. The Holder decides the destination once he enters the chariot.
Strengths:
- The Holder and the other passengers can travel anywhere in an instant.
Weaknesses:
- Cannot be used mid-battle
- unexperienced passengers will experience motion-sickness upon arrival.
- The Holder can only use this spell once a day.

Type: Major Arcana
Description: One of the Major Arcana cards dissolves and becomes a glow of Arcane energy around the user. The user is granted the ability to defy gravity and fly or levitate.
Strengths:
- Tactical advantage
- Allows Zeno to travel through the air at high and low velocity
Weaknesses:
- Duration: Whenever another Arcana Spell is active, this card dissolves immediately and becomes active during the duration of the other Arcana Spell.
- Cooldown: 1 post after the other Spell runs out.

Description: A card appears in the Holder's hand after which it dissolves and becomes an intangible arcane phantom in the form of a wise old man. The phantom flies into Zeno's eyes after which they get a faint glow and he gains the ability to see through objects. When objects are layered he can choose which layers to reveal.
Strengths:
- Tactical advantage for terrain and battle.
- Can be used in conjunction with another posession.
Weaknesses:
- Increases the cooldown of a second posession by 1

Name: The Fool

Type: Major Arcana
Description: One of the Major Arcana spells appears in the holder's hand, it then dissolves into a swirling mass of arcane energy that is fired onto a surface. Upon impact, a portal is created to the Arcane Realm. The holder indicates a spot within a radius of 10 meters in his mind. When a person enters the portal, it immediately closes when the person is inside. Everything else is repelled from the portal. This means that only one person can pass through it. When a person other than the holder enters the portal, he/she immediately reappears from a portal at the indicated spot. Because of the Holder's affinity with the dimension he can choose to extend his stay inside the realm. When he does, strange figures, shapes and colours pass him/her by at an incredible speed. The person has no control over his or her movement through the realm, nor does he have any contact with the real world. He cannot affect or be affected by it. After travelling through the dimension another portal opens and the holder reappears at the indicated spot.
Strengths:
- Tactical teleportation of friend or foe.
- Zeno can stay safely inside the realm for 1 post.
Weaknesses:
- Only 1 person can enter through the portal at a time.
- Zeno cannot affect the real world while inside the realm.
- Second portal must be located within a 10 meter radius of the first portal.
Duration/Cooldowns
Duration: 2 posts max.

Name: The Divine
Rank: S-Rank
Type: Minor + Major Arcana
Description: 59 cards start circling around the Holder in a vortex, The Devil, The Magician, The Emperor, The Suit of Cups, The Suit of Wands, The Suit of Coins and The Suit of Swords. The cards then dissolve and engulf the Holder in Arcane Energy. The Holder transforms into an incredibly powerful being.
The Holder gains the horns of the Devil, the crown of the Emperor, and the mask of the Magician. He has darkred fur around the neck and over the shoulder, the Magician's arcane cape and the Emperor's attire. He has the Devil's red skin tone and muscular structure, as well as the Emperor's arcane blade. The Spells of all 3 Major Arcana cards and the 4 Suits of Minor Arcana are active at the same time with increased power.
Strengths:
- All the Strengths of the included Major Arcana Spells on S-Rank powerlevel.
- The Holder can unleash 1 Suit of Swords attack.
- The Holder can unleash 1 Suit of Wands attack.
- The Holder can unleash 1 Suit of Coins attack.
Weaknesses:
- No other Major or Minor Arcana Spell can be activated except for those that are already active until their duration runs out.
- 1 bolt can deal significant damage from up close, however multiple bolts are required to get the same result over a distance.
- Zeno can only fire 10 bolts from each hand per post.
- When this Spells enters its Cooldown, so do all of the included Spells.

Name: The Suit of Swords
Rank: A - Rank
Type: Minor Arcana
Description:
The Suit of Swords can only be activated when The Emperor is active.
14 Minor Arcana cards start hovering around the Emperor's katana, then dissolve and become a swirling mass of Arcane Energy around the blade. The Holder then swings the blade in a certain direction to fire the energy. The swirling mass turns into an enormous tornado of Arcane swords. Anything hit by the tornado is blown backwards with a tremendous force and shred to pieces by the swords.
Strengths:
- Anything hit is blown backwards over a significant distance.
- Anything hit that is B-Rank or lower is shred to pieces. Physical or Non-Physical alike.
- Deals severe and deep cut wounds to unprotected victims as well as blunt damage from the blow.
Weaknesses:
- Anything hit that is A-Rank is seriously damages, but not shred to pieces.
- Anything hit that is S-Rank or higher is still intact after the attack.
- Can only be cast when the Major Arcana Spell: The Emperor is active.
- Cooldown: 5 posts
- Duration: Instant

Description:
Can only be cast when The Magician is active.
14 Minor Arcana cards start hovering around the Holder's arms, then dissolve and become masses of swirling Arcane energy. The Holder then swings his arms to fire a huge amount of explosive Arcane energy bolts.
Strengths:
- A huge amount of Arcane energy bolts is fired rapidly.
- The bolts explode on impact dealing significant blunt damage as well as burn wounds.
- Anything C Rank or lower is immediately blown to pieces.
Weaknesses:
- Can only be cast when the Major Arcana Spell: The Magician is active.
- Anything B Rank is severely damaged and is only destroyed after multiple hits.
- Anything A Rank or higher is still intact.
- Cooldown: 4 posts
- Duration: Instant

Description:
Can only be cast when The Devil is active.
14 Minor Arcana cards start hovering around the Holder, then dissolve and become a swirling mass of Arcane energy around the Holder's hands. The Holder then touches an opponent's Spell to activate his own. The Arcane energy shatters apart in the form of coins together with the targetted Spell. The coins fade away once they hit the ground.
Strengths:
- Can negate any C Rank or lower Spell.
Weaknesses:
- Can only be cast when the Major Arcana Spell: The Devil is active.
- Cooldown: 3 posts
- Duration: Instant

Name: The Suit of Cups

Type: Minor Arcana
Description:
14 Minor Arcana cards start hovering around the Holder's hand, then dissolve and become a large cup or Arcane energy, holding liquid Arcane energy. The Holder can then drink the energy to decrease the Cooldown of one Spell by 1, during the Cooldown.
Strengths:
- The Holder can cast a Spell 1 turn sooner.
Weaknesses:
- A Spell must already be cooling down while casting The Suit of Cups to decrease the cooldown.
- Cooldown: 2 posts
