The Package [Quest]

The member 'Zenshin' has done the following action : Dices roll

'Monster Dice' :

It seemed as though things were slowing down, whether the world he was in realized that he wasn't going to be as easily broken as its other victims or it tried to much at once, thinking it would do the job, it was slowing down. All it could do right now was send two, small feeling tentacles to tug at his ankles for a while while he walked before disappearing. At least it's slowing down, but I feel as thought it's going to give it everything its got sooner or later... This doesn't seem like the kind of place that would just let someone like me go without giving it everything its got first... Zen worried as he walked, which is the only thing he really could do, as just sitting and doing nothing would be detrimental. No good comes to those who sit around and do nothing instead of doing something, because there is always something to do.

'Monster Dice' :

Looking left, he couldn't even see a few feet in front of him, the same with his right, front, back, and even when he looked up. If it got any thicker than it was now, he wouldn't even be able to see his hands in front of his face. While walking, even though his vision was limited, there was a faint glow through the fog, one that got brighter every time he blinked. That's when he realized, it was the glow, of those hollow eyes. "Run Zenshin! Run!" a voice yelled out in his head, prompting Zenshin to run from where he saw the creature coming from. He ran and ran until he couldn't see it following him anymore. Something about that thing made me feel, more uneasy than the others... These things are getting stronger... he thought while a couple of pebbles made their way from the ground under him to his face.

'Monster Dice' :

Even more pebbles made their way to his face before Zenshin got aggravated and swung his fists at where he thought the invisible tentacle was throwing them from, but no dice, he could't feel contact with anything. "This could all go much easier if you just... let us.... have your..... mind" the voice echoed again within his head, trying to convince him to give up, but it should know that he wouldn't. Zen would never give his mind up for anything, there was nothing else he could want in exchange for his mind, and this, "thing", thinks it can talk him into giving it up so easily? It was definitely funny if nothing else. You are going to have to try a bit harder if you want this mind, buddy. Why don't you just come out and face me like the monstrosity you are instead of hiding like a scared little girl? Zen thought, as if retorting to the monsters voice in his head.

'Monster Dice' :

Zenshin was done screwing around, and it seemed that this world was as well at the same time he called out this monster stalking him as well. "YOU WANT ME TO SHOW MYSELF YOU INSOLENT WORM!? YOU CAN'T HANDLE WHAT I AM!" the voice roared in his head while multiple tentacles whipped as hard as they could against his arms and pants, making even more lacerations over them. He was on his knees now, when he looked up, and he was face to face with the slender creature once again, only this time, he wasn't scared of it, he simply got up, and walked through it, and that, that was when he saw it, a creature of the same look, but completely black. A shadow. "You think you can conquer me? You know NOTHING! NOTHING! OF ME! OF WHAT I AM!" he screeched before coming at Zen with its full force.

'Monster Dice' :

Zenshin threw his entire weight into the baseball punched aimed for the creature's face, only to be blocked with the abnormally large arms. "You can't beat me Zenshin, I am-" the creature was interrupted by a spell cast, "Dark ice, pillars! And, jaws! "-you" the creature said before being smashed by two high speed pillars, one above and one below it going in opposite directions at the same time. As the finishing move, this abomination was caught in between the Zenshin's dark jaws, crushed slowly, and painfully if it could feel pain. With one final screech, it was gone, and Zenshin was free from the nightmarish world of which he had been trapped in. Now, the most interesting part wasn't the fact that it dropped some missing pages to the journal or any kind of note, it was what happened when Zenshin regained his consciousness, now THAT, was the real surprise.

When Zenshin finally came to, he found himself where he had received the box with the journal, a puddle of drool next to to him. Was I, sleeping this whole time...? he thought while checking for the pages that did indeed cross some barrier with him to get to reality. Then that means, that was my subconscious... and that's when he began putting two and two together. The endless walk, the dark being that said it was him, the torment that his own mind put him through because of his dark ice, how it knew whenever his resolve strengthened, and even when he flew up above to try and escape. It wasn't any loud rumbling from the sky, it was his snoring! I really have to take the day off he thought, scanning for any cuts he may have had brought over from his mind as well, but nothing. I still need to find out more about what all this means, I'll just keep the box and pages with me for now, until another messenger comes at least.

I feel that perhaps the battle could of been a bit longer, but you did do a good job with the fear aspect and the slowly going insane. So approved. You also get the ability to do the next stage. Isn't that great?
