Personality:
Akainu is often seen as a boisterous and carefree man. He holds a strong desire to create or be apart of a family, something which is a directly a result of growing up as an impoverish orphan. Akainu tends to be somewhat of a social butterfly, and he loves meeting new people and having friendly competitions. A bit of an alcoholic, Akainu loves to partake in drinking competitions and parties, and even gambling to a certain extent. At times it can seem like he is unable to see any cause for alarm on any decision making, and it even seems that he impulsively makes decisions without prior thought or planning. However, most people do not know that Akainu is an extremely thoughtful and strategic man. Most actions that seemed to be done impulsively, has actually been made methodically and with good reason. This is often to the surprise and bewilderment of everyone else. Occassionally, he does like to act a little less smarter than he actually is, just to surprise everyone that he is intelligent and not just a big dumb brute.

Description: God Soul- Eastern Dragon is an ancient form of magic, one that stretches its origins to an ancient era that is largely lost to the ages and consequently known history. The magic’s original owners were the great celestial drakes, god-like entities that possessed vast powers over the heavens. Legend said that this magic was created when one of the Celestial Dragon Kings took favor to a mortal king and bestowed upon that mortal a fraction of their soul. Granting the king a portion of the dragon’s power over the heavens, the King would go on to use that power to bring prosperity to his kingdom. It was believed that when the King died, he forever became apart of the dragon, and thus lived in bliss. After that it became traditional for Kings to appeal to a great dragon in exchange for power and a portion of the creatures soul during times of great conflict. Though the magic became extinct when the great celestial dragons left the world. That was until recently, when an Dragon decided to bestow a portion of his soul to a man who held a strong spirit and powerful willpower, a man who was not tethered to narrow-minded indoctrination of society, and who would pursue their dreams relentlessly. Akainu was considered the person perfect to possess a portion of his soul, a man who would bring about great change, one for the greater good or for the greater evil. With a portion of the dragon's soul, Akainu was granted powers over the heavens. Allowing him to manipulate the weather, and the seas, with this he can conjure devastating barrages of lightning and terrible hurricanes.

On the job board at the guild hall, there was a notice about some giants that had recently awakened and rampaged across the silent glaciers of Fiorie. The notification mentioned that the villagers needed a strong mage to defeat the giants and save the village. Looking deep into the notice, Nicolas discovered that the village was mining town and quietly wondered if some wealthy merchant was the one coming up with the reward. Honestly, the thought of meeting a giant fascinated him, Nicolas had heard legends about the strength and magic of giants, but he was told that they died out or disappeared years ago. These giants must have managed to escape their fate somehow and were confused and maybe even a bit scared at their surroundings. Whatever the case, no matter how scared or confuse they are, the giants have no right to just go about destroying everything and harming innocent people. Believing that he was more than equipped for the job, Nicolas decided that he should be the one to accept this job. Who knows, he might be able to take the giants back to a time they were more comfortable and fit for!

The next day, Nicolas left the guild airship and using his unique magic flew to the Silent Glaciers.


The obnoxious smell of smoke assailed his senses, as the cries of innocent screams broke the normally calm and peaceful night, Nicolas stood amidst a mountain top observing the chaos that occurred in the village below him. Monstrous creatures seemingly made from ice and snow, rampaged throughout the peaceful village. As these monsters trampled on houses, and squashed civilians Nicolas could feel his anger rise. He had to take his eyes off the scene, just for a moment, as his fist clenched in frustration at the horrific scene before him. He could not allow this to continue anymore, a cyan aura wrapped around Nicolas’s slender frame, as he released stored time around him as an aura of magical power. With all the speed he could muster, and borrowed from time around him, Nicolas rushed down the mountain. He darted through trees, rocks, and eventually scorching debris until he finally arrived at the center of town.
