coughing sand up (the dessert Naraku and Chelvaric)

Chelvaric looked at the last guy as Naraku started to attack him. Well he was a little disappointed that he wasn’t being used. He know he failed her and that’s why he needed punishment. He was looking exited on what kind of punishment he would get for some reason. He should be scared as hell as her methods were always hurtful and genius. But that was the reason why he was looking forward to it he wanted to see what she would think up for it. well he was sure his life wasn’t on the line. Well he hopped that. wait it wasn’t was it?, A second sweat drop formed on his head. Why did he look forward to it again. her blade shot through the neck of the thief and he fell death on the ground. Some blood splatted on chelvarics pants and a small hole was being burned in it. Meaning the poison was still in the blood of the man.

Seems the client was already run off. He was truly not good in his head. as eh followed naraku in her footsteps she asked that he should look out for treasure. He wondered what kind of treasures you could possibly find in these deserted places. It all seemed only to be sand over the whole desert. And it was the only thing he saw for the rest of a couple of hours while they walked through the desert. Rin was walking next to him while she was whistling some Celtic tunes.

“so rin how do you like the human world so far. Okay I suppose you only saw these sand lands only. But at least you saw Naraku our guild master.”, He said as he pointed to her. rin listened carefully and then made a thinking face. She had laid a hand on her face and was ticking with her finger on her cheek. Chelvaric looked at her and sighed a bit as it took a while before she answered.

“it’s so sunny here and I never knew humans were so red inside. There like a strawberry milkshake! Hahaha. Ow and it’s a pleasure to meet you miss Naraku boss.”, she said with a big smile and looked at chelvaric. He ahd no idea that she was so happy in a way he guessed. Tough normal huamns would probably question her sanity. Chelvaric only shrugged as he pointed to a some small ruins up ahead. And behind the ruins were spiky rocks sticking out in a form of a crown of some kind. It seemed they had arrived at the location.

“I shall go look ahead miss Naraku ”, chelvaric said as he spurted to the ruins with rin. He didn’t want to be attacked from nowhere so that the client who was exited now and running circles around naraku. Would be killed from a sniper shot out of the dark.

As he was walking through the ruins he didn’t really notice anything special about it. it seemed to have been some kind of temple but not much was left from it. till he found some kind of cat statue on the ground. It was half broke but he brushed the sand of it to look better. It was a human head on the body of a cat. Seemed this was kind of a god for these people. As he found more of these. Till he found a small box under one of the statues. He looked at it and tried to open it but it didn’t budge. Even with his demonic strength not. Till he saw some runes on the underside of the box. They were in old Gerantini’s demonic language.

“can you translate this for me rin.”, he asked her as his demonic wasn’t that good yet. He was pretty exited about it to find something like that in a place like this. Rin had taken the box and studied the text.

“When The world was in dismay our gods Vertir and his Brother Geratini Came down out of the heavens to lay down the rules to gain out of the chaos. But whenever there was a problem they would be able the chosen one should be able to go fetch the great ones on that they gave the elader of the people these claws. Claws that rip open to the place where they shall be tested and will see if they can talk to them and request help.”, she said and she gave the box back to chelvaric. He took it from her and looked on all sides again till he saw the so familiar cat paw on the sides. Yes this would be a great asset to his relic’s. this job suddenly turned out to be something very good. He bound the chest to his back and walked back to Naraku.

'Normal Dice' :

Chelvaric rushed off ahead and Naraku was left with the client running around her in circles like a chicken with its head cut off whooping about how they had arrived at the place. She reached out suddenly and grabbed him causing him to go silent. "I get that we've got here and that's all whoopdeedoo, but if you don't shut up...you'll join those bandits in the land of the dead understood?" she said glaring at the man. He nodded fervently and it was at that point that Chelvaric returned with a box strapped to his back. However, perhaps due to his joy at the success of finding something he did not notice the group of five small dog-sized scorpions and the basilisk. She shouted at him to get down as she threw the client to the groudn and flew past Chelvaric pulling out a random weapon, which turned out to be her latest weapon: the sword known as Sin. The first, blow against a scorpion about to leap at Chelvaric missed, but she managed to divert its course. The second blow which was aimed for the basilisk, just as it was about to open its eyes slit the beast in two. The force of the blow was enough to blow away some sand revealing another locked box, similar to Chelvarics, but different.

She ignored it for now as two of the scorpions leapt at her and she batted them away with her sword. "Bringing me out for something as simple as this? Are you that weak Naraku?" the sword said in its rather echo-like voice. Naraku growled at the blade.

"I pulled out a random weapon in order to save my minion from his own foolishness...I meant to grab Biter." she said and the sword seemed to chuckle, but went silent. It was really rather embarassing being insulted by her own sword. She lifted up the box with one hand and threw it to the merchant. "Keep an eye on that merchant. See if you can open it. Chelvaric...you keep an eye on him and keep your eyes open for more monsters. These ones are mine" Naraku was curious as to what was in the chest. She doubted it was anything useful, but perhaps it could be valuable to sell. If not, it might do as a bribe to get new members within the guild. It was difficult to tell until the chest had been opened and whatever was in it appraised.

"Time to dance little scorpions. I wonder who has the sharper sting." she said with a giggle as she prepared to battle these five opponents that were far below her. They were certainly below her in terms of size, but for their species they were quite large. That suggested they relied on their claws and sting, not poison. The smaller the scorpion the deadlier the poison in most cases, but she would not take that risk. They would die before they got a chance to sting her.

Chelvaric was nearly returned to the merchant when he suddenly saw Naraku fly over him to attack the monsters behind him. That he and rin seemed to not have noticed. He was a bit off this job it seemed. And what a fail he was. Chelvaric sighed as he walked to the merchant to do his job protect him. The man was holding his treasure and was trying to open it like naraku had said to him. He was probably really frightened by her and was trying his best to open it or he will die well in his head that is. If they would kill him they wouldn’t get a reward and he needed one badly. As he felt this was going to be his last job before he could do some new cool things.

“boss look out!”, Rin shouted as she pushed him away. As he rolled through the desert till he came to a halt somewhere further. He looked up and saw five scorpions as big as shepherds. They surrounded the merchant and seemed to have been sleeping under the sand and where now awakened by all the movement he had been doing. Well he didn’t had much time to think as he should be protecting him if not for the stupid actions off the merchant.

“You will never get my treasure creatures of my enemies! ”, the man shouted and he ran off to the crown like rock formation with the scorpions behind him like some raging dogs. Why were they so attached to him. Chelvaric sighed and started to run after him while motioning Rin to follow him. They had to nearly sprint to take them in this merchant was running like hell was on his back and those scorpions with their small legs went faster than he thought.

They had run for a bit when they finally had caught up with them. Chelvaric was really getting angry on this stupid job. Yes it was official now he hated desserts. The merchant was standing on a cart with a lot of skeletons around it but two people who were skinny as skeletons were standing on top together with the merchant. The scorpions were threatening them from the ground trying to attack them.

“Help us we were stuck here for weeks. We had to eat our mates it was so horribly now save us from these mad scorpions and from this merchant who left us to die here!”, one of the man shouted as he was looking terrified. Seemed Chelvaric didn’t have a real choice anyway. but before he could go help two of the scorpions appeared around him one of them bit his claw in his leg while the other stinged his stinger trough his shoulder. Luckly for him it was his broken arm shoulder. He didn’t scream out but attacked the scorpions. They were quick and it was hard for chelvaric to hit him so he ended up doing no damage at all.

They did the same thing to rin but she could block all there attacks with her material arts. Blocking the claws and stingers with her hands feet or even her clothes. it was a epic fight and after the first stinger miised her she broke it off and pierced the scorpion with it. then one sneaked behind her but she back kicked his face in. That girl was better fighting then Chelvaric at the moment. While he was coping up with the pain of his wounds. Bleeding out of a couple places.

Seemed that Chelvaric had failed yet again. He had let the merchant be chased away by some more of these scorpions. Of course, he hadn't completely failed till the merchant was dead, but by the sounds of it that wasn't going to happen. What's more it seemed like he found some of the merchant's comrades. In essence that meant mission accomplished. A success at last for the broken armed Chelvaric. However, they still had to deal with these scorpions which had risen from the sand and probably a dozen other such creatures. It was quite irksome. Still it turned a boring mission into something a bit more useful.

The scorpions despite their size were quite nimble and she was forced to dodge several blows. To her earnest surprise one of them was swifter than she had anticipated and managed to stab her through the hand. Enemies seemed to have a fetish for her hands recently. It was quite strange. In her anger she lashed out at the scorpions. One of them was slit straight down the middle, but the other four managed to block the blow. The force from her strikes however was enough to crack their pincers and force them into the sand a bit. The sounds they made were strangely tantalizing. She'd never heard a scorpion scream before.

However, there screams had a strange effect on the environment. It began to grow hotter for once, which was bad enough, but the sand began to whip up into a frenzy. A sandstorm was brewing, but it was not caused naturally. No, a large beast with the head and body of a lion, the head of a goat and a tail. Its tail was that of a large snake. This was a legendary chimera, supposedly lord of the desert. It was quite big, though not as big as Fenrir. However, rather than cowering Naraku just grinned. Now things were getting interesting. What's more the scorpions, in their fear of the chimera which their screams had inadvertantly summoned retreated into the ruins. It seemed Chelvaric would have to deal with them.

"Chelvaric four scorpions coming your way." she said and at the mention of his name wondered if the sky demon slayer could eat the sandstorm. It was generated by magical wind in a way so perhaps he could. A useful test for him. "Now then Sin...shall we have some fun?" A strange humming came from the sword as if it was considering the idea and Naraku sighed. Why had she stolen this thing? It wouldn't even work properly unless one was ruler of all seven demonic planes of sin and was an actual demon. It would be a useful tool though and maybe one day she could become an actual demon. That would make her immortal, in terms of ageing, and one of the most powerful demons to ever exist. That would be fun. After a few moments whilst these thoughts passed through Naraku's head the sword spoke.

"Let us go Mistress Naraku. TO BATTLE!" the sword yelled out in its echo voice sounding oddly formal. It was an odd combination. Almost as if the sword was trying to be the straight man of their double act. Quite funny really and she stifled a giggle at the thought.

Rin looked at the scorpions that had surrounded chelvaric. She was gatting angry that she couldn’t protect her boss. But still he wasn’t showing the strength he used to save her from the demon dogs that captured her some months ago. But now he looked like a helpless baby that couldn’t even swat away some bugs. Well she guessed everybody could have a  bad day but he was having a really bad day. but she couldn’t go help him as Naraku screamed more scorpions were coming. And not long after a dust cloud appeared on the outskirts of the rock formation. So she started to attack the scorpions that came inside.

The first one she attacked with a drop low kick to its legs but it jumped up and sting her in the leg.  After that another one tried to grab her arm but she fell on the floor to avoid it only to be stung again by a needle in her arm. She grabbed the tail of the scorpion and threw him over her shoulder right against the wall it splattered out in green blood. Another scorpion grabbed her leg and threw her some yards away. While she bounced over the dust Chelvaric was being attacked by the remaining other  scorpions.

As he blocked the relentless grabbing and stinging of the Schorpions he could suddenly see Erza walking in front of him. What was happening what was she doing here. And not much later also Sara appeared in his vision. He had no idea what was happening but they came closer and grabbed him. When their faces where near his face they suddenly exploded and two dogs were in the place of the girls. He tried to get away but they were holding him down and licking his face. not much later the dogs appeared in front of him and they were dipping a poor little cat in a  water bucket. This was getting very weird and very horrific for Chelvaric. But also so unreal.

Maybe these scorpions had some kind of illusion posion. He tough he was going mad. So he didn’t wait anymore and started to suck in air. A magic circle appeared before him that was ten yards big. A scream was heard when the tornado went out in front of him just missing the chimera over the head. the tornado was more off a sandstorm then a wind tornado as the sand was being sucked in.

After the dust had settled he could see three scorpions lay around thorn in pieces while the remaining five crawled out of the sands to fight once more. This would be longer fight then he anticipated. He wondered what naraku was up to and why those scorpions had fled to here.

The chimera looked at her and she looked at it then suddenly it lunged at her sweeping its claws. It aimed to strike out with two strikes of its claws and its speed caught her off guard so was only able to dodge one as she dove to the side gaining a large cut down her left. As she dodged to the side it lashed out with its snake like tail, but fortunately she was quick enough to use Sin to knock it out of the way with the flat doing some minor damage. She'd been aiming to hit with the blade, but she hadn't had time to aim 100% so the flat was all that had hit. Using her natural agility she flipped up to her feet just in time to dodge a sweeping attack from its claws. It was a close run thing though. This thing was a hell of a lot faster than she'd given it credit for. Even Sin made some slight comments about its speed though they were mostly derogatory towards her.

"Naraku remember to dodge its attacks. You do remember you don't have to let it hit you don't you?" it said in its echoey voice. It really was irritating that sword. That was just one of a variety of snarky comments it made which pissed Naraku off, but she tried not to show it. In response Naraku lashed out  twice with the sword, but it just cut a few hairs off the beasts mane. She wasn't used to wielding a sword yet. The weight was fine, but the balance was different to what she was used to. Most of her weapons were weighted more heavily near the end e.g. her warhammer and axe. The sword was much more balanced. It was better, but she just wasn't used to it. The beast seemed to take some offense at her attack and roared out, but this just gave her an opening and she struck out once more. The chimera was quick, truly light on its feet and blocked with its claw preventing a more damaging blow. It still received some damage as the blade knicked the poor, but not enough. This process happened twice more and the beast was getting its paws more and more cut up, but it barely seemed to notice. This was going to take a while unless she stepped things up.

As she fought she wondered how Chelvaric was getting on and wondered if expecting so much of him with a broken arm was too much. However, she decided against this line of thought. If he couldn't beat these sort of enemies one armed with one of his powerful summons then he wasn't yet ready for the tasks she had in mind for him. He was on the way there though. It seemed that both of them had a bit of a luck issue. Perhaps it was Karma or perhaps they were just going through a rough patch. Either way it was irritating. "If I ever find the being Karma i'm going to show it that whilst it might be a bitch its not nearly as bad as a pissed off Hell Queen." This was probably provocative and as it was Naraku it was probably meant as so. It would be interesting to see how it effected things.

“Oh common couldn’t you hire better mages I mean look at those two there being beaten by some scorpions. How are we ever gone get out of here!” , One of the two merchants was complaining. And it was really getting on Chelvaric’s nerfes. If they could do it better they could do it themselves. But sadly they would fail and he wouldn’t have completed his job. No he had to do this himself even if they were both wounded he would turn around this failing fight. It’s not like they were going to lose. They were only small scorpions so there damage was also not too high. He just had difficulty to defend with only one arm and his balance was a bit off to. And this heat ugh he was sweating and his upper body was shining with sweat. And how he hated water.

“Oh shut up you two let me get my weapon out they gone speak differently then. ”, he said as he took out his new weapon. His chained sword. He couldn’t use his left arm ot hold it but he laid the sword on top of it and bound it to his arm with the chain. while holding the other end in his right hand. He waved it a bit around to get the feel for it before he jumped forward against the scorpions.

He throws his right hand sword right at the first scorpion. But the scorpion blocked it with his claw. The sword deflected and flew in the air. Chelvaric jumped in and tried to pierce the scorpion with his left arm stabbing forward. One of the only moments he could do with that arm. It was easily blocked by the scorpion and then his claw grabbed Chelvaric tail and threw him back. he flew against the wall but got back up quick to dodge the rocks the scorpions were throwing at him. He swing a couple of time with his chain to try to hit the scorpions but they either blocked or dodged the attacks.

“Hold on bos I will finish mine off so I can come help!”, rin shouted as she crawled out of the wall she crashed into earlier. Her time was nearly up in this world so she had to do her best. She jumped over the first scorpion and tried a back kick to one scorpion that was crawling to flank her. but she got blocked so she turned around and tried to puch another one but again she got blocked. All her attacks were being defended against. These scorpions were quick.
Two scorpions had crawled upon the rock wall and tried to jump to chelvaric from above. Chelvaric stretched his arms out and quickly gathered wind in to a disc form next to each hand. after this they gained teeth around the edges and they started to spin like crazy.

“Sky Demon Chain saw!”, chelvaric shouted as he flicked his fingers forward. The saws flew right at the target on a fast speed. They passed trough them and then trough two spikes of the rock. After a second blood splattered out of the two scorpions as they were cut in two. The spikes also fell down as they were cut off by the saws. The felt down and a little shaking was felt in the ground. A huge dust cloud flew around them.

Chelvaric's problems were of little concern to Naraku at the moment. The beast before her was large, tough and most importantly a right pain in the backside. Perhaps it was time to step up her game slightly. It seemed that the beast was going to for it lunged at her with even higher speed then before and caught her a powerful blow to the stomach with its goat head, though fortunately she twisted out of the way of a bite from the lion. The blow was strong and caused her to splutter up some air as the wind was knocked from her, but she wasn't yet defeated. She couldn't embarrass herself with a loss whilst wielding Sin or the sword would NEVER shut up about it. It was probably already thinking up some snide comments about her getting hit.

The blow itself didn't send her flying because she managed to dig her feet into the ground in time thus she managed to launch a powerful punch to the side of its head. However, it twisted its head slightly causing her to hit the horn. However, Naraku was strong enough that her fist was enough to shatter the horn and caused it to roar in pain and lash out once more with both of its front claws. She was too swift now though and leapt backwards landing in a crouch before lashing out with the sword again. Once more she went for the head of the goat and once more it blocked with its horn, but the sword sheared through it angering the beast even further. One more it lunged at her, going to use the now broken horns to try and stab her, but she blocked the blow and used the momentum to send her flying back out of its range. She lunged forward once more aiming to stab the beast through one of its heads, but narrowly missed. The lion went down for a bite on her, but she quickly swung the sword sideways and cut its mouth heavily causing it to pour with blood. It looked surprised at the damage she had caused in one swing and the reason was simple. Not only was she an SS rank mage now, she was wielding an artifact grade weapon and when she had struck the goat earlier with her first she had activated her curse of the red sun increasing any attacks that drew blood by 10%. The tattoo of the curse was on the goat's forehead. After a brief pause, much to her surprise, the lion head went limp. It seemed that it was dead and even more  to her surprise a short while later it faded away and the goat head shifted to be the central head. She raised an eyebrow and then struck out twice, but the beast now seemed even faster and dodged her blows. She really was going to have to step things up a bit. Perhaps the air would be an advantage?

"Naraku its growing wings." Sin commented moving slightly in her hand to indicate the bat-like wings now forming from its shoulders. Well, now it would be flying. That screwed up her aerial advantage. She wondered if it would use those wings to boost its speed. "Perhaps cursing the beast so the lion head died was not wise?" Naraku said nothing. She agreed, but even without the curse it likely would of killed the lion head.

Chelvaric went into the dust cloud to hide himself from the enemies. The scorpions were a bit disoriented by the dust and were trying to find them again. well that’s what Chelvaric thought but these scorpions felt the movements on the sand and they buried under it to get to Chelvaric. But Rin had seen them doing it and ran to Chelvaric. The first scorpion appeared next to Chelvaric and Rin jumped towards it grabbing it by its tail and kicking her feet into its head. she jumped to another one that came up but this one jumped out of the way and she missed. She kicked to it in a combo but he blocked with his scissor. Rin then took a rock from the ground and threw it to him. It went right in it’s head and it was taken out.

Chelvaric himself was fighting the last scorpion and it was going pretty easy. When the scorpion came up from the underground he ahd kicked sand into its eyes. While it was now going around slashing around itself he blocked it easy with its swords. He then threw his sword to it and the sword whirled around the tail. The blade faced down and was pretty good tied to the tail. He then pulled the chain back and the tail was being pulled forward and the sword went right into the back of the scorpion and trough it’s body. This was the end of the scorpion attacks and the dust went to settle itself.

“That finishes the job here. You three follow me but try to keep some distance we don’t want you guys to get killed. Rin try to stay with them till you disappear and I have to say good job. You did a lot better than me.”, Chelvaric said as he walked to her and kissed her forehead as a reward for that. he knew his summons liked that so she should be happy about this. They better went to help naraku since there was some kind of strange heat coming from there.

As he arrived at the scene of the fight with Naraku and the beast he was a bit surprised about the kind of beast that she was fighting. It was a mix of a lion with an extra head of a goat that had lost its horn. It had bad wings and a snake tail. It was trying to get in the air so Chelvaric jumped and punched the chimera in the head. it fell down on the ground but it quickly got up and jumped to Chelvaric. The two heads were snapping at him but he could block them all. Nara was probably anger that he intruded her fight but he didn’t really care he wanted to kill this monster that had destroyed the lion.

Rin had brought the complaining three merchants to the ruins and they were seeing the fight from here she was a bit sad she already had to leave but at least she had made her boss happy. She waved to him from the distance till she turned back in to blood and fell in a puddle.

"Ah spectators. How wonderful." the sword commented as it noticed the four people who had come to watch. Chelvaric had joined in the battle, but Naraku understood his reasoning and decided not to comment on it for now. Instead she prepared to show these merchants exactly why she was feared as a Hell Queen, the King of Mutilation and a living Disaster Zone. Though was it better to go all out against this beast? Or simply use her current level of power to win showing off her skill? Fear of her skill or fear of her power, which was the best option. Chelvaric appeared to be getting pissed off so would likely go brutal on this beast. That would be interesting to see. She decided to use skill instead. It was more fun that way. The beast lunged at her, as she suspected it was faster than before and managed to get two strikes on her. However, this sealed its fate. It went for a third and forth strike, but Naraku lunged under its body and grabbed it by the tail. The snake tried to break free, but it was too little too late.

"Now you will see my glory." Naraku said activating her lineage to increase her strength. She dropped Sin temporarily and it stuck in the ground. This was because her plan required her full strength i.e. both arms. She spun round lifting the beast from the ground and swung it round and around before throwing it into one of the stone pillars shattering it instantly. She grinned and grabbed sin who muttered something about getting sand in its mouth and flew at the beast. It managed to stand up just in time. Just in time to get stabbed through the centre of the red sun tattoo on its goat head that is. She had flown at it with enough force that, with Sin's sharpness, she managed to cleave the beast in two from head down to its tail killing it instantly. She emerged from a dust cloud covered in blood and laughed darkly as her lineage faded away. "That is why you don't mess with the Hell Queen of Divine Torment." She walked over to Chelvaric and nodded to him.

"For someone with a broken arm you did quite well, but I expect better in the future." she said to him and then paused briefly. "Rin seemed like a nice girl. Good choice for a summon too." The merchants, even the mad one was frozen in fear when Naraku turned to them still stained with blood. "Ah yes...the blood..Chelvaric cleanse the blood from my body." she added as she returned Sin to the pocket dimension of her haori. She stood stock still waiting and wondering how he would do this. "We should probably look for treasure once more before we leave."

Chelvaric looked at Naraku as she jumped at the chimera. She got so strong that even this mighty beast of the desert didn’t stand a change to the hell queen Naraku and his guild master. She jumped under it blocking or dodging all its attacks and grabbing it by the tale. Not long after she activated that fearsome power that made her even more bloodthirsty. Not that Chelvaric minded that. this was probably his punishment she would kill it and he wouldn’t get the pleasure of it. and not long after she slashed the body of the chimera in two. The kill drenched her in the blood of the chimera but she had finished this mighty creature without even trying to much.

And on that moment he would hear something that would made him happy for the couple of weeks after the job. And probably would be one of the top ten moments of the year list. She first showed the merchants why she was the hell queen. He got a warning about his bad fighting but he expected that ofcourse and then she commented on his summon. He was happy that she liked her. it would have been bad if she didn’t as she would walk a lot around chelvaric at night times. But that weren’t the big top ten words. No it were the words:

“chel…clean…..the blood…..from …..my body”, it slowly sank in his head. He made a little twist in his brains to be sure he heard it right and after that he didn’t hesitate. He went to her side and went on his knees. As she was his boss he would start from the bottom and would make his way up. Slowly liking all the blood of her clothes. she was pretty tight in that outfit and not so much naked parts but still the blood tasted no to bad and this was fun. As he worked its way up he became more and more quicker. He licked her arm off till he came at the hand. he liked it slowly off and then took each finger separately in his mouth to cleanse it from the blood. He went for her other hand and then to her face as she was literally drenched. As he licked it off he was working around her lips he couldn’t resist but to slip his tongue in for a moment and then went out.

Chelvaric backed off as he was done and wiped his mouth off with his arm. It was delisius not because of the taste but because of the person he took it from. He was like heaven and what more well nothing more he was just in heaven.

“thank you for this honour miss naraku.”, he said as he bowed and then went ahead to take the merchants to the city. While they walked one of the merchants tripped and chelvaric found a bag with old jewels. He bound it on his belt and they walked further.

The sensation was strange to Naraku. It was different from the tongue of her wolf companion Fenrir and it was also different from normal bathing. A strange sensation but not unpleasent. All the time whilst Chelvaric licked her clean she watched the merchant's who looked at her with a horrid fascination. Yes, look upon her. Look upon the Hell Queen and how servile her minions became. This would just add to the rumours surrounding her promoting fear and respect throughout Fiore. It was perfect. As they walked back towards the village one of the merchant's had stumbled and found a bag of jewels which Chelvaric took. She had no need for them. Her funds were more than adequate and he would likely use them to improve himself which was good.  Unfortunately, she did not find any treasure on the way back and when they arrived at the village she asked the merchant about the item he had given her. One of the other merchant's spoke about it.


"Ah yes...the box the boss was carrying. I managed to open it and there is a weapon of some kind inside, but it is to rusted to be of any use." he said with a shrug as he handed her the box, which was now unlocked. She opened it and eyed the weapon. "The value of the weapon is likely quite great and for a small fee of say 5000 jewels I could clean it up for you so you can use it or sell it." Naraku considered this prospect. She had enough weapons herself, but an extra one could be useful. Then again she rarely used some of the ones she had now. She would likely give it to a subordinate or something. Or perhaps sell it if she could get good money for it. She considered threatening him to force him to do it for free, but decided against it. 5000 jewels was nothing really. She reached into her haori and pulled from the pocket dimension a small bag which she handed the merchant along with the box. He took the box and closed it before placing his hand upon it and muttering some spell. The box glowed and she went to take it from him. "Do not open it for three days or the spell will not work. It is rather slow, but it is the most effective other than time magic and time mages are very rare." Naraku nodded and took the box slipping it into the pocket dimension.

"Let's go Chelvaric. We have other things to do." With that the two dark mages walked away with whispers following them likely caused by the merchants who ran into the pub on their leaving and began talking about what they'd seen. Divine Torment was here and it here to stay.
