Lance had been training for a few months with the Yokai in the Spirit world, and it was finally time to say goodbye to them for the time being as a new journey was about to unfold. With all of his things packed up he neared the gateway he was originally brought to and he noticed the Tenko, or Kitsune spirit that had called upon his aid waiting for him at the tree they met at. With a slight wave and smile he let out a cheerful "See ya!". The fox smiled warmly, as if a mother was looking over her son "Such childlike tone for someone as grown as you Lance" she said before coming down from her perched position on the tree to meet the mage face to face. "What are your plans when you get back out into the real world?"
Lance hadn't thought about this question so he didn't really have a real answer for her. He thought about it for a second "I dont know... Probably search for some more trouble-making spirits, send them back here. You asked me to do a job so I guess I should see it through until the end." he laughed. The Motherly fox nodded at him "Sounds good."and turned to go back to the tree before glancing behind her "By the way, there is a guild of powerful mages located on the Amber Island in Minstrel. I would seek them out and continue to grow stronger, you never know what kind of Yokai you might find out there. Plus they seem to want to protect the balance of the world. Just a thought." With that she would hope back into the tree to watch Lance as he headed out.
Back in the real world again, Lance would take a deep breath in and exhale. It had been a while since he breathed the same air as the humans. Although he was a forest spirit himself, he was not used to the Spirit world as this was his first visit there.
He decided to heed the advice of the Tenko and seek out the partnership of the guild she was talking about so he headed to the nearest port and hopped on a boat to Port Amber. On his way there he actually felt his heart beat with excitement, not because of the fact that he might meet new people or that he could get stronger with these people, but because he was really eager to fight some powerful people. Lance did not really care about people but instead thought of everyone as a toy or something to play with. He truly was a trickster spirit, so why was he joining a guild that was on the good side of the spectrum? Because it fit his goals, he would help them as long as they did not harm nature or the spirit world. The same thing could also be said about his partner, Feng, who normally took the form of a small pig.
After a long journey they finally found themselves nearing the islands port. They turned to look at each other with a wide grin and when they got there they would step off the boat and onto the island.
Watching the boat trail off, Lance would turn around and glance at his surroundings, spying the guild hall eventually. He took a big whiff of the air and let out a laugh "Feng! We've hit the jack pot buddy! There's really powerful magic here!" he exclaimed, him and Feng proceeding to jump up and down cheering.
After a second of calming down the two nodded before approaching the guild hall and entering the massive throne room, spreading his arms wide, and making his entrance "HELLOOO!". Both Feng and Lance would exclaim loudly as they entered.
