Baird Yuzill

The musician had come to the capital in hopes of finding a certain someone that he favored, for some more information... and maybe a bit of fun with him. He knew it would take some time, and the fact he couldn't entirely go into Era for quite a while, nor did he have any way to contact his informant, made this task rather hard to do. The green haired musician was hoping to not only scope out how much non-magic users there were in the area for his guilds new objective, but to also get more information on the magic council from his little go to guy. He figured that the Rune Knight he met a while back hadn't forgotten him, and would possibly be in Crocus to serve as a temporary guard for the royal family or help out around the capital a bit. Or he could come across another Rune Knight to tell him the whereabouts of his little chicken.

He waltzed into the bar, wearing a black and bright green tank top that had the colors split down the middle, his typical studded black leather vest, a pair of black skinny jeans being held up by a studded belt, and his black biker boots. A bandage was on his left cheek, covering his guild mark so he could roam around this rather important city with little issue. Currently, he had his hair up in a high full braid and wrapped up till it was able to fit under a leather newsy cap without even a strand hanging out of it. Over his bright greenish blue eyes, was a pair of dark tinted sunglasses, which he continued to wear when he stomped into a bar. He snickers to himself as his eyes graze over the other patrons before he moves himself to sit at the counter. His stomping had caused a decent amount of people to turn their heads to look at him, which he quite often liked to have. He hadn't cared about the rain on himself, it actually felt refreshing to having something cool on his skin. One of the few things he missed about where he grew up, how cold it had been.

The musician grins to the bartender rather devilishly. "Gimme a whiskey on the rocks." He says before he glances to his side. He makes a face a bit from the stench he was smelling from someone not too far from him. They smelt sweet... too sweet for his liking. He rolls his eyes as he sticks his tongue out unhappily. He brings his drink to his lips and smiles a bit. "Hey bartender... you have any fries... salted, or potato chips to munch on back there?" He hadn't remembered the last time he had a salted food. Maybe he should go back to one of the port cities and go to a seafood restaurant... He needed to have a good meal like when he first came to Fiore again... He missed it. Maybe he should invite Yuii. Hell, would she even like it...? He pouts to himself a bit as he taps his fingers on the bar counter to the tune of one of his songs he was recently composing. Maybe he should hit the streets again and play for some more jewel, could get him a new instrument or something. He then glances back over his shoulder. Why go to the streets to play? He could get some fans right here in this tavern. He takes his drink and tips it back, guzzling it in one sip, burning his throat as he did so. "Ahh... been a while since I hit that hard.." He wipes his mouth as he stands up and makes his way to the stage.

Holding up his hand as he walked, he held up three fingers. "Death Violin... Flute of Pan... and Drum of the Dragons." As he called out those names, one at a time, a violin, pan flute, and a small drum came into his hands as soon as he stepped onto the stage. He didn't care if there was supposed to be a queue or whatever. He wanted to play. He clears his throat as the drum and flute started to hover on their own. He holds the violin up to himself and taps his foot a few times before he has the tune in his head. Closing his eyes, the drum and his hand holding the violin bow, start to play a bit of a tune. He continues to tap his foot as he plays, seeming to tune out the world as he played his music for the other patrons there, and almost tempted to throw his hat down at the edge of the stage, but he didn't want to do that, not yet at least.

Of course, as the crowd started to come up to him, Baird started to grin rather devilishly. He enjoyed this attention. It was probably one of his favorite things. Now he was tempted to show them a spice of something different than the usual tavern music. At the applause, he grins wider to every one as he begins to tap his foot at a faster pace, smiling wide enough to show his teeth. He snickers to himself as he let the pan flute disappear. Of course he had to play more than one song. He touched the bow to the strings once again before he started playing a different tune that he rather enjoyed. The song was much more upbeat than his previous one, and once it picked up pace, he started to move his own hips and twirling around as he played before he jumped off the stage to play among the crowd excitedly. He used his drums sticks to imitate clapping, till any of the other patrons begun to clap along with his songs. He was rather springy as he played, enjoying the flow of the music happily.

He looked up to see the sweet smelling guy. Part of him wanted to roll his eyes at him being there, but the musk of others around him kind of dulled the sweet smell. He didn't look too bad actually though. He smirks to him before he gives a wink. Maybe he could get information out of this guy instead... That didn't seem like too bad of an idea. Could also help curb some of his boredom when he's around the area or something. He was pouring himself into the music right now, showing how pumped he was as he moved his hand and his body with the music he played. One of his favorite things to do was to put on a show. When the song ended, he was tempted to play another, but he was eager to get something else now. He had ended up back on the stage at the end of the song, and holds out his violin to the side as he bowed gracefully. "Thank you for letting me play up here a couple times. I am typically known as Baird, or Baird the Bard, or even Music Man. Music is basically my life. I wanted to test out my new pieces... and it's been a pleasure hearing you all enjoy it." He grins. He actually hated doing this part, but getting their attention was always amazing, especially if it led to gaining fans. The part about music being his life... wasn't a lie though, but it also wasn't the full truth. He allowed his drums and violin to disappear back to whence they came, and made his way back to the counter. "Fries and whiskey on the rocks again." He tells the bartender.

He was sitting in one of the chairs, allowing his slender torso lean forward a little as he sat there. He turns his head to glance over his shoulder, smirking as he was wondering if the one kid would join him or not, even if he didn't join him for long before. Some girl from the other side of the bar came up to him and was grinning as she was trying to woo him by leaning forward while she was blabbering on about loving his music and whatnot. He looked rather bored as he looked at her. Yeah... she could be good for a one night stand, but she was no Yuiisai. This was a bimbo who just wanted in his pants, which he probably wouldn't pass up as there were no strings attached. He closed his eyes as he had thought of the black haired beauty that he wished to have. But alas, that'd be a quest for another time. Now he had something else to look forward to.

The musician couldn't help but chuckle as he had made one of the people in the crowd seem rather embarrassed at just a simple wink to him. It made him feel great that he was able to do so really. Of course he was the kind to keep on going despite what he done, and played his song with no pausing to it. As he was on the stage, his face was serious again till he finished and spoke his bit.

While back at the counter he had received his drink and fries, glancing over to the man as he sat a stool away from him. He smirked softly into his glass as he raised an eyebrow curiously to him. He then pushed his stuff over and simply moved right next to the guy while the woman whined at him. "But I was talking to you!" She cries as Baird scoffs. "Please... You'd have to get through my fox first before you could even touch me. Trust me, she's a witch, with a capital B." He says as he slightly leans over to the guy. Faking like he was cuddling him a bit, even if it was just his shoulder touching him. "Besides... I'm a smidge taken. So buzzzzzz~!" He winked to her as he made a clicking noise with his tongue. She was clearly furious as she stormed off to find someone else to bother. Baird rolled his eyes as he sat up right again and tipped his drink back to clear half the glass before he stuffed his face with fries. "So... enjoy my beautiful masterpieces? I worked rather hard on them." He says rather casually as if he hadn't just leaned on the guy. He was well aware of what he had done, both on stage, and just then, but he was in the mood to dig up some information on this guy now. He seemed like someone fun to play with. More than the girl who was just hanging on him at least. He then looked to the bartender, and grins. "Make his drinks on my tab." He winked again to the guy, lightly sticking the tip of his tongue out as he glanced over to the guy. Baird had gone back to arching his back inwards as he munched on his fries, enjoying the saltiness of them. His bracelet started shaking a bit, and Baird takes a deep breath before turning it just enough and smacking the fox pendant on the table to keep it from shaking. He didn't want the yokai to wake up and start causing trouble... not yet at least, or not unless this guy would enjoy that trouble too.

Baird was glad the guy was able to help him out momentarily, and simply snickers as he munches on his food in front of him. He glanced over to the guy, smirking rather devilishly to him when he hears the praise for his music. "And that... is my area of expertise. Music of new lengths and range. Plan to do more here soon." He chuckles to himself softly. Of course he already had more in mind, thinking of the instruments he wished to use, or create, and how deadly they all could be. "Maybe you'd like to hear more one day? I travel quite a bit, and do things that you... at least appear you wouldn't want to be involved in, so doubt you'd travel with me well." He snickers a bit.

The musician smirked when he saw the guy look away and blush at the wink. He put down his fries and drink to turn to the guy. He cocked an eyebrow to him as he watched him drink his cocktail, then look over at his bracelet. "What...? Embarrassed to look at me? You seem rather interesting... tell me about yourself, handsome?" He winked to the other as he leans on the bar on his elbow, bringing his drink and food more in between them so no one to snag them or mess with it. He had a finger lightly swirling the whiskey he had in the glass, and wondered what this guy would do. "Unless you don't want me bothering you? I could always look for someone else who could be entertaining for a bit while I'm visiting here." He turned his head to the house of the bar, seeing if he could scope out another, or see if his original objective managed to come in when he wasn't looking. No such luck unfortunately...

The green haired mage really couldn't help himself. He was enjoying making this guy blush and be embarrassed over the attention he was giving him. He paused though when he seemed like he was ready to push forward. He raised an eyebrow at how he rested himself, looking all polite to him with his hands in his lap and turning to look at him full on. He didn't think he'd do that, but he didn't say anything as he listened to him. A small smile was on his face as he nods slowly. "I see... you're from the hell hole that doesn't have magic, right? That's the Neutral Grounds?" He snorts and rolls his eyes as he moves a leg and wraps it around the guys leg. He then paused. "Why not tell me what your name is, since you know mine. It's only fair, don't you think?" He hadn't moved much, besides his leg, from how he was sitting. He tilts his head slightly, still having that smirk on his face. "I enjoy fighting too. Maybe one of these days we could fight one another?" He reaches up to make sure his bandage was on his cheek, not wanting it to slip off without his knowledge.

He leans closer to the guy as he sips his drink once more, till his face isn't too far from the others. "As for your loneliness... maybe I could help you, hmm?" He winks as he grins rather devilishly. He was hoping to get this guy blushing again. He rather enjoyed him blushing like he had been. He didn't move back for a bit, not unless the guy pushed him, but if he didn't, Baird slowly inched back and unwrapped his leg from the others. He turns just enough to munch on his fries, and smirks to him. "What do you do? Job wise that is." He felt like he didn't need to explain himself, or at least what he was showing the world right now, so he didn't make an attempt to say his own job.

The green eyed mage looked at the other, and smirked slightly. "Well then... Sage... Such a nice name... kinda better than Theo." He snorts to himself. A frowned formed on his face as Sage didn't seem to talk much. It was hard to keep a conversation when only one person was driving it... When he finally answered for what he did job wise, Baird raised an eyebrow. "Oh? You pegged me as a guild guy, but that's pretty nifty, I guess. Though, that sounds pretty naughty... that you'd 'do anything to get some money'...?" A smirk was on his face as he leaned close again. "I guess that's cool you're a freelancer though." The green haired man shrugged his shoulders before eating more of his food, keeping his eyes on Sage the whole time. "Do I make you uncomfortable? Or excited?" He asks as he reaches a hand over and gingerly pokes the others leg as he sat there in his chair. He was tempted to ditch him to try and find Theo, but maybe he could squeeze a bit more out of this guy... Get him to talk more to him... something. "Or are you afraid I'm going to eat you, since you're not looking at me? I feel hurt... Thought I was pretty. Or at least my eyes were." He pouts rather dramatically, taking a deep breath. He couldn't help but snicker to himself as he knew Yuiisai would probably make a remark about his eyes not being as pretty as he was playing them up to be anymore. He totally was eating up her comment of his eyes being pretty, despite her threatening to gouge them out.
