Description:
A weapon of the silent but deadly, a tool for when conflict is the absolute last option, Shadow’s Cry is lauded as one of the premier weapons used by intelligence operatives within Pergrande. Composed partially of Oblivium, it is a technical marvel that lacks any magical manipulation at all. Not much is known of the weapon's design, as its blueprints have been highly secured, but those that have witnessed it and lived to tell the tale wove interesting stories. Despite not using magic, its bullets seem capable of bending through the air and finding targets while it’s also been reported that it can activate volts of electricity within the object the bullet has stuck. Agents for the Pergrande Empire have held this is a primary handgun, especially those that operate as out-of-nation operatives, in high regard. It provides some of the best means of escaping a bad situation and increasing the agent’s odds of survival. It is sleek in design, with a glowing red core and a palm reader over the grip that identifies the user while also acting as an absorbing pad for the user’s bioelectric current from within the body.
Abilities:
Name: Bioelectrical Overload
Rank: User Rank (Up to S)
Category: Offensive
Type: Multi Target, Immobilization, DoT
Damage: 50% User Rank Single Target Damage per post
Range: User Rank Single Target Range
Speed: User Rank Single Target Speed
Duration: 5 posts
Description: The user looses a shot from the Shadow’s Cry, aiming to impact its target for nonlethal damage. But the bullet’s core is charged from the user’s own bioelectric currents, feeding into the gun through the grip. It releases this energy into the newly impacted target, immobilizing it for one post. After the initial burst of electrical build up, small releases of electricity follow up, causing injury over time up to the duration of the ability.
Name: Smart, Swift, Deadly
Rank: User Rank Advanced (Up to A+)
Category: Offensive
Type: Multi Target, Buff, Negation, Homing
Durability: User Rank Advanced Multi Target Damage
Range: User Rank Advanced Multi Target Range
Speed: User Rank Advanced Multi Target Speed
Duration: User Rank Advanced Max
Description: The user activates the weapon’s ‘overwhelming odds’ program, causing the inner chamber to glow an eerie blue. Through the pad on the grip, the user’s own bioelectric currents are fed back into the bloodstream, acting as a boost of adrenaline. This increases the user’s movement speed by a user rank advanced active buff. This also overloads Shadow’s Cry abilities, increasing its ability to differentiate between friend and foe based on the user’s pulse. This means that the user can fire bullets that home in on its enemies, circumventing the laws of physics and making evasion methods much riskier. They can also fire overloaded Oblivium bullets from the gun that, activating the metal's anti-magic properties, can negate a single spell equal in rank to the rank of this ability or lower per post. As with all negation effects, the user must pay the original MP cost of the negated spell. The spell being negated must be within ability-rank Burst range around the user and must make contact with this spell.

- Plot Ability:
- One and Only One: Each model of Shadow’s Cry is crafted without an imprint, but once a person has made the gun their own, it is nearly impossible to overwrite the coding. The user is its master and no one else may wield it, less they wish to suffer the consequences. If anyone else tries to use Shadow’s Cry other than the user, the gun will release a pulse of build-up bioelectric energy, disabling the intruder as well as any electrical machinery within user rank Burst range (Up to S). This ability cannot be used against Players, player-controlled NPCs, or Event NPCs unless the user has been given explicit permission.
