A Tearful Reunion

Janet would stand near the Mountaintop that overlooked the city of Era. This is the city where the magical Council of Fiore usually met and decides the laws of magic and where they reside. However Janet wasn't here for them today, she wasn't here to hunt a slater either. As the wind blew on the mountain top her hood down and her dragon features showing clear as day, the wind picking up her dress blowing in the breeze a little as a storm started to roll in she looked behind her, to her small army of five dragons she has chosen to aid her on her mission today. Her mission today wasn't on sanctioned by her guild, nor was it for them, though she didn't mind them riding her tail coat on it if they desired. Today she was going to show Era the fury of her and her dragons by freeing a dragon prisoner they had hidden away deep in the basement of the council building...the dragon known as Shinada of the Twilight Skies but far more importantly then that...a dragon that Janet considered a sister and her last family member that is alive. While Janet and Shinada were not blood related like Janet's Mama and Papa were but that didn't matter to Janet what matter to Janet was that this dragon has been part of her life from an early age and upon hearing that she was still alive just in prison made her Furious. Janet and this dragon have been closed While Janet was going up. She played with Janet while she was still young, she protected Janet when her parents could not, she would even on occasions take Janet Klein sometimes sneaking behind her parents back to see the world that Janet so much wanted to see. This geygan was more have a family member that anything Janet could ask for an older sister she never had but always wanted. Though one day Janet found that she stopped showing up as often and eventually stopped all together, at the time Janet's Mama and Papa I just told her that she had gone her course and needed to move on but she was always welcome here. But now Janet knows the truth and knows why her mama and papa had hidden the truth from her. Not long before her parents died the magic Council found her and saw what her way for reasons that Janet did not know about but it didn't matter Janet just wanted any semblance of her family back that she could even if it was just a family that wasn't pureblood. Janet clenched her dragon fist staring at the city of era thinking about how after her parents died seeing wish and hope that she would show up and protect her again but no such Fortune came to her and now she knew why. She grew up scared and alone isolated from the world being brought in by that monstrous cop being hunted by Slayers with no one to protect her because the magic Council had it taken and imprisoned her family. Janet could care less why this happened but she had to know if her sister was still alive she had to try to save her if she was at all alive. So if she was dead then it would tear down the city with her own hands, let's hope she's alive. Janet took a deep breath as she then suddenly turned abound and looked at the dragon she had assembled that would help her. These dragons were her new family and she treated them as such. While her title is the dragon Queen and they treat her as such they're more of a tight-knit family the Ramada lucky she listens to them and they give her wisdom and strength in return she's going to help them and make them happy again and give them back what was once theirs what anything else they may desire it's the least you can do is look out for her family. As she stood up pop the mountain looking down at the dragons she gave a small smile. Today she had some new dragons in her Arsenal ones that she hadn't used before. Not to say her other dragons couldn't handle this task but she was attacking the capital of the world she wanted to make sure but she had enough Firepower to do this task and she was not about to call He Who Shall Not Be Named out, he is only to be bought out for emergencies only. No today she had with her Seto, the dragon from the heavens, Raktos, the hellscape dragon. Crystal, the crystal dragon. And two she knew were good. Syphon the Mecha dragon and Nefaru the dragon of the dead. These were some of Janet's strongest dragons she had that had allied with her throughout the years. Now it was time for them to show her what they got. Janet looked down to them once more before jumping down to them as they towered above her. Today these dragons would help her take down the city where the council had the meetings and where people thought they would be the safest since the concil was there. The council consisted of some of the country's most strongest and prominent Mages in the world oh, some of the most gifted mind and Crafters of the Arcane were there giving me an illusion that the city was safe no one would dare attack the council. While they thought they were safe today, these dragons would help her take them all down and show them that their safety was an illusion while they rescued their most valuable asset.

"Hello everyone, it's wonderful to see you all… today I need you all to help me attack the city of Era." She said calmly as a very uneasy tension was left by her words. Before one of her dragons spoke.

"Why are we doing this, attacking Era for no reason seems like a suicidal act?" Seto asked being a tad more reasonable as the syphon growls at him.

"Don't question, take this opportunity to heart fool!" He said as the two dragons started to glare as each other growled more.

Janet just sighed looking at them both ready to fight each other as the other watched though Nefaru seemed to be eager...Janet would have to watch him carefully. Though this was not what was needed right now. They needed to be united in this endeavor. With that Janet would raise her dragon claw looking at them to get there attention.

"Enough, there is no need to fight each other...save that for Era…" she paused seeing them back down. As she looked to Syphon "I appreciate your loyalty Syphon but Seto has a tight to be curious and I would be happy to explain anything after all there are no secrets in this family.." She said smiling but there was a serious tone to her voice.

Raktos then spoke up. "Then why are we assaulting Era your majesty?" He asked looking down at her as she loomed over her' to anyone else this would be a quite intimidating sight… be to Janet this was a normal and almost welcoming feeling. Janet smiled and nodded looking at them all.

"We are not just attacking Era for no reason I assure you the council has foolishly imprisoned one of our kind for years. " this dragon is a very important dragon so it's imperative that we've asked you her are there any means necessary, this is a job before once I don't care how much it costs to suction you cause as long as it draws people away from the council building." She said before one of her Dragon spoke up.

"So what if the council members come outside to join the fight?" All the other dragons turned him and then towards Janet as she let out a deep sigh and looked at them all.

None of the council should be here today that's why I picked today to do this I got a tip that they were on a diplomacy Mission today, our window is small but it's there when are you going to do is cause some chaos you can leave anytime you feel you're in Jeopardy I won't make you stay longer than you have to… I want to do it no more questions our kin is locked away in a dark cave below that building and I intend to free her."

One of her other dragons Crystal looked confused. "I am with you your majesty...just I didn't get my role...surely there are others that are more destructive than me ...I can support them but I'm not made for destruction outside of normal means...what is my purpose here your majesty?" She asked looking at Janet rather confused.

She would say as she turned her head toward Crystal walking to her touching her lightly touching her rubbing her rough scales. Crystal was one of her more loyal dragons and one that she trusted so dearly to protect her and her family, a dragon that was made purely for defense and for stopping people can't we just let out of safe and happy smile as she rubbed the dragons rough scales.


Crystal I know your not much of a fighter but your main job is to get me over the building safely, as much as you guys will draw them out there is sure to be lots of resistance inside...I need to save my magic power for once i'm inside ...so please keep me safe." Janet said as Crystal just bowed her head nodding. "Of course your majesty...no one shall touch you as long as I draw breath" she said as she smiled at Janet. With that they were set janet slowly started to walk to the side of cyrstal and start to climb onto her back smiling warmly then looked determined looking forward. Today was the day she was going to do what not many would do today was the day where she would go and attack the city that was most dangerous in the world for dark Mages to attack, or at least what she thought was the most dangerous city in the world to attack due to the council's have a looming presence. thanks for the council wouldn't be there to stop them this time the most powerful nations in the world went out there at the moment. this would be the only time they have to go rescue this Dragon so they had to make sure it happened no matter what. And then they all started to take off looking towards Era as Janet's smile thinking to herself *Soon sister...i'm coming for you* she said standing on crystal as they started to fly towards Era to raise some hell.

As they flew through the sky out of the Mountain range towards Era as they let out a roar to the heavens as not long after the roar they heard bells going, a warning system as they say five dragons flying fast towards them. Janet looked around at her dragons, her family as they drew closer and closer she could see them getting in position to defend themselves and the city. Janet looked to all her dragons. "Before splitting apart we need to clear me a path to the council building!" She said as they let out a roar and increase there speed. However as they got closer suddenly a magical barrage was flying towards them as magical artillery was fired from groups of mages. Janet looked at everyone. "Seto and syphon fly low and use us as cover and destroy that wall!" She ordered raktos, crystal, and nefaru closed in to protect them with Janet. Janet would throw up her dragons umbra shield to help mitigate some of the damage as she put her palm on crystal. Crystal knew what this meant as her eyes glowed bright. As she used her Gem Reflection ability. As she did this all the incoming magic missiles that came flying towards them they suddenly were bounced back at them all making them get bombarded by there own attacks making the barrage lighter now on the other two and Janet. As Raktos and Nefaru used there shielding and healing applies to mitigate some of the damage from below Syphon and Seto charged up there breath weapon as they got shielded and realised there attacks in a V like pattern to take out as much of the wall as possible. As the wall fell and the barrage ceased they picked speeded Flyinging over the once walls of Era and towards the council building. As they flew closer to the council building When It prepares herself not knowing what dangers would be inside or who would be able to her she knew that you had got down as fast as she could if that meant punching holes through the floor then that is what she would do. Looking down below people were screaming bloody murder as her dragons flew over head, the gaurds of Era were ushing people to get indoors and hide away while the rest prepared to counter attack. Janet sighed deeply holding out her claw. She needed to get a bit more time so she can get close to the council building and get inside but she could not do that they had to fight through an entire army head-on plus she was confident that if she did that she would lose one or two of her dragons so she had to get a little more tactical with this. "Split up and start to scatter them all!" She ordered. They all let out a roar and scattered ready to stir them up and cause some chaos. While they did this Janet would stay on crystal heading towards the council building hoping the four other dragons could draw enough of the Era city guards away. She had faith in her dragons of these weren't lightweight dragons none of her dragons with lightweight dragons however these dragons were stronger ones more durable ones and why she didn't bring up her most powerful dragons these ones would certainly get the job done. As I flew towards the city she would look over to one side to see two of them and then the other the see the other two smiling that she had such faithful and strong company glad that no matter what what happened today she was ready Since she had her five faithful companions with her she felt like she could take on anything in today hopefully she would succeed. If not nothing would change her sister would still be locked up in the cage the only difference is she would die but that wasn't something she had on her to-do list today, today would be a day of great victory for her and her dragons, today the world will know. Janet Cinderfeild what is the true Dragon Queen of Fiore.

As Janet got closer to the council building crystal saw a group of Era city guards getting ready to defend the council building. So presetant. Janet looked at crystal as Crystal spoke. "Janet grab my tail im going to catapult you over...I won't make it there so let worry about the guards you get to the dragon." Janet was hesitant...she was never going to treat her dragons as pawns or pieces in a game they were much more valuable than that to her granted if they were to almost die they would disappear since they were the only here based on summoning magic but either way the idea of abandoning them was not something she wanted to do at least not in this fashion. However Janet saw the permanent work on crystals face and decided to put a little faith in her dragons. They we're not just Mindless Beast after all and tell her the truth is that I had earned Janet's trust over the years. She gave a nod to her dragon climbing down it back in such a way not to fall off of it. As she did she could see them getting a magical artillery ready maki g Janet worry but before she could Crystal start to fly in a circle going faster and faster each time. Janet held on tight flying through the air feeling silly but on the same venue she was going to fly whatever way she let go. Eventually they were going fast enough for it to be a blur and Janet heard a loud bang from the artillery Making Janet panic slightly timing it as best she could let go. As she flew through that air she looked back looking horrified as she heard Crystal roar getting hit directly by the artillery shell. Crystal let out a roar as she started to fade taking too much damage. Though Janet could do nothing as she crashed into the Council building through about five walls, it hurt but nothing her regeneration couldn't heal as she laid there for a second in pain panting sharply re adjusting herself listening to the sounds of battle outside. Janet wanted to desperately go out and help, her first reaction was to avenge crystal but...she had to resist...her dragons were here to help her...to be loyal to her. She slowly stood up and looked out the hole watching for a second before turning away. Her sister was waiting for her and she would not let her. Be imprisoned and longer… today was her final day in the hell hole she was cast into. With that in mind she started down a hall as quick as she could so she could use this window properly and make as much headway as possible. As Janet started she started to think about how to find her sister and what avenues would be the quickest way. A large part of her wanted to just start punching holes in the floor and burrow her way through the floor and go as far down as she could. That would be the quickest way of getting to her sister however the problem with this she had no idea what was below, if it was a strong enemy or something volatile it would slow her down. She couldn't risk being slowed down like that right now. For now she had to take her time with this and be slow and methodical with her approach. After now deciding what to do Janet will continue on her path down the hallways of the council building trying to figure out which way to go and avoid most detection to the best of her abilities, she knew eventually she would have to fight but you want to save as much energy as she could for the main battle but any serious threats. As she continued on the halls her heart would start to vase at the thought of her sister being rescued at the thought of how she was doing it call I thought I wondered if all the lies. They were equal to what she was doing now but she was already in it and committed there's no turning back at this point I see continue down to the building quicker and quicker wanted to get to a sister faster. Though as if On Cue as she rounded a corner they were a group of the guards that were in charge of keeping an eye on the council building itself running was the entryway stopping scene Janet. There were about 20 of them in this group, a rather large number but for about a minute they both stood Frozen. Janet consent to any magical means about them or any High magical power among them however they took one of them there so very heavily armed which made her worry even more. Even Janet do the guards of this city wide along in the council voting will not to be treated lightly as they were supposed to be guarding the most powerful people in this country however Janet didn't look what you had any fear in her eyes or any wavering though she just looked angry and determined as she took a step forward closer to the guards than another step as they quickly started drawing their weapons. It would appear Janet would have to fight now she could try to run past all 20 of them but perhaps you can use this time to her advantage, perhaps one of these people would know how to get to the lower chambers of the council building to her sister quicker. Bearing that in mind she would start to walk quicker as one of them yelled at they found Janet. However in a Flash as he yelled that Janet was in his face drawing up grabbing his face slamming him to the ground to the one who spoke now in the middle of these 20 guads in a blink of an eye as they all looked at Janet she looked around but you can fight. There was a brief lapse of time as all of the guards I had seen this happen however they were not backing down they just started to attack as Janet would search Dodge defend herself. No even Janet found it wouldn't be a little cumbersome the Dodge when there was about seven blades flying at you all at once and they were very trains nordsman however none of them seem to be laying a hit as Jen would Dodge and take a swipe every now and again trying desperately to hit one of them but they would always Dodge back and switch out with another one. Janet want to end this quickly but she didn't want to waste her magic power on these grunts so it's not mushy had to with that in mind she would catch one of the sword than rip it out of one of their hands and quickly lunge at one of them flying through the stomach 18 more to go. As she did that she quickly grabbed the other sword Yankee up and back behind the black one of those swords the punch the other one trait in a cup with her human hand knocking him back in another one with him taking out two more. As she did that she quickly ducked out of the way of another blade 41 what's going straight down at her she would just reach up with her Dragon claw in touch it Knocking out of the way uppercutting the one she had just Perry it out of the way taking out another one swiftly her immense draconic strength was far too much for them where they had numbers on their side she had her own power Which is far beyond theirs. However in her confidence she let down her guard for a second. I speak quickly about a sword slash down her back causing her to yell out in pain before looking back at her golden Dragonite looking Fierce as one of them jumped back with her blood on her blade. This was inevitable she was bound to get hit. She was being ganged up on by over 16 of them at this point however Dragon healing would start to mend her wounds in her blood turn to sizzle as it would just heal her body. Eventually not even a story was left on her body just a gash in her dress as she looked at the guard who looked quite frightened at this moment in time as she started to walk towards him the other guards going to swing at her as she will quickly duck and Diving go after him grabbing him in his car and slamming him into the wall before throwing him into another guard hang out to more looking Fierce 2 at this moment she will quickly go after another one as they started to surround her her back to a wall but now there's only about four of them that could get to wear at one time rather than the other 13. As they all abandoned her trying to stab at her she would dodge out of the way and watch one of the boys get caught into the wall before backhanding with a dragon claws snapping it into catching the other portion of lady with her hand and throwing it into another guard Like a Knife stabbing him causing him to fall before he can finish his swing the other two he would barely Dodge out of the way she can feel the wind and the blades flying past her face as she would quickly retaliate by backhanding one of them. She started to feel a little spent not this was overwhelming her to any degree but keep bearing that in mind how was she would quickly does all the way up to more blades and do one more swipe to the guy in the middle in one more punch to the other one before the investment would suddenly backup as if they got a message in their heads. Janet found this to be quite peculiar actually as she stood there in a defensive stance looking at all of them. Have a look on their faces if they were going to give up or even back down no surrender they were just in a guard stance keeping an eye on her actually it was just looking at all of them carefully watching the movement she'd suddenly start to hear footsteps approaching. Janet work working was down the hallway at these footsteps wondering who it was that was coming now what new Challenger would be here and if it was more than these grunt like soldiers. This woman would stand before her and almost Valkyrie like Armour very robust and very fancy looking, she had a long blade on our Hilt Katana type sword that was beautifully crafted from the hill that she could see at least those could not tell the blade. As she stopped she looked at her up and down I was judging granite before giving a grin and ordering the guards. "Tend to the wounded and get them out of here...i'll kill the intruder." She said with an almost excited grin. Janet just walked to the center of the room her tail swaying back and forth as the guard introduced herself. "Annabelle Carmine, leader for this section and guardian of the council, sorry but this is as far as to go. She said pulling out a sword. Janet paused. She earnestly didn't care who this woman was before her...but her title peaked Janet's interest. Someone like that...someone like that would know about Shindara. Janets grinned at her since someone had finally come across her path that would know how to get to her sister she was determined to get this information even if she would have to beat it out of this person. Janet...and I have some questions for you...but I feel I'll have to beat them out of you…" she said getting ready. Annabelle just smiled. "Smart girl" she said as she then dashed forward getting ready to swing at Janet. Janet looked surprised as she did this, she was much faster than the other guards before. She barely gave Janet enough time to even react to her coming using her Dragon Umbra shield to project an energy shield blocking the blade as Janet jumped back. She was quick and good to know. Janet would have to be very careful with this one as she looked at her who looked to be getting ready again. As Annabelle smiled she would dash towards Janet again with great speed as a sudden pulse of magic power came out. "Great Swan Strike'' she said rushing past Janet as she did there was a moment before Janet not only felt the cut on her stomach but was frozen in place...she got caught in some kind of stun effect as she growled angrily knowing if thus swordswomen was competent she would strike her down. How could she be so foolish letting her guard down so much in the heart of the enemy territory. Ad her regeneration ability kicked in healing her wound she could feel another slash on her back as she yelled out in pain before falling to her knees panting slightly. She was hurt and while regenerating she could only do it so fast. She decided to help it along. Dragons… fortitude." She muttered healing as she felt a blade to her neck. She froze but a hidden smile as Annabelle spoke. "I thought you to be stronger...to attack us wo brazenly and to end up like this….I wanted a challenge you scaly freak." She said as Janet growled more. Janet hated when someone made fun of her dragon scales. She was very proud of her scales and of her dragon heritage. She was now determined to put this woman in her place. As she finished speaking Janet cocked her head. "Listen here I do not tolerate people like you making fun of me….you are the reason I do what I do" she says as suddenly a shadow would shoot up through her arm so she couldn't cut Janet's neck all she could do us jump back allowing janet time. She then as she landed Janet would spin into a crouch glaring. "Nightshade Bow '' she said drawing back shooting a black and green shadow shot towards the swordswomen hopefully catching her off guard. Though she. Slashing it nulling it but then as she did Janet moved in a flash moving low with her arms back a glimpse of fear in her eyes. As Janet closed the gap she put a bit of poison into her claw slashing her in the stomach but before she could do more she jumped back holding her wound. Janet grinned as she looked confident but then...she looked worried as she knew what Janet had done. "Your using poison...you coward!" She stopped as Janet saw she still had fight in her, good Janer wasn't done with her. Janet would continue her assault as it became less one sided and it became more of a battle. As she's on her blade channel block with her Dragon arm now on par with her speed if it became an actual fight. Janet would one get her with her Dragon call as she would Perry it away with her sword before I'm doing that Counter-Strike causing Janet to jump back on and cast her dragon lance ability at her. The ability consisted of her shooting out a black diamond like shape with green inside of it with black and green swirling energy around it. As it flew towards the captain of the Guard she was cooking / do it again however it would push her back a bit as it was more than expected do to the type of spell it was. However as she would recover Janet was already closing the gap getting ready to claw at her again. She was quick to the guard however as she quickly put up her sword to block Janet's claw. As she blocked Janet's claw they stood there for a moment, no words were exchanged and it was now a test of strength and willpower. Eventually Janet would jump back and as she flew back she used her Nightshade bow move again shooting another arrow. Though she would quickly side step and come right back at Janet. Her speed with stone nothing to joke about as she flew back at Janet making Janet have to put up a shield to block the blow just in time that you would quickly claw down watching her jump back.Janet would go Empire a Nightshade dragonlance at her trying to nail her with one however it would be in vain as you would Dodge out of the way while she was jumping back in deflect it to the wall, Janet had to admire her skill she was hurting me worthy of being a captain of the guard in this establishment however she would have to be gotten rid of like the rest of them. As she jumped back Janet to kill her Nightshade poison darts at her kind of attack trying to hit multiple places at once and get the really moving as he would quickly block three of them a jump out of your way or the other two genuine let out a frustrating growl although things are going her way watched as she would skid back from her jump getting ready to strike again but then suddenly she would stop moving she wouldn't keep on her salt as her eyes went wide and her hands were shaking, it was at this point Janet knew that she had won. Janet this whole time has been acting out her plan ever since she had poisoned her. Janet had it been purposely trying to make her move this whole time ever since she poisoned her trying to make the poison run through her body quicker. Some of my car wouldn't have the best resilience and it did take a second or two for her poison to kick in so she had to make it speed up if she wanted to win she would have used her take over magic and ended this fight a long time ago but she only wanted to stall it out she surprised the captain of the Guard didn't see it coming perhaps you got too arrogant something Janet did not like. The captain of the guard knew what was happening as she dropped her sword stumbling to the wall to hold herself up as she slowly slid down the wall clenching her chest now panting in pain finally feeling all the poison running through her veins. Janet with your screen slowly walked back towards her as she knew what was coming or at least she thought she knew. She figured Janet was just going to kill her right then and there just end her life for making such a careless mistake however she was lucky Janet had other uses for her. Janet would slowly walk over and kneel in front of her looking at her right in her eyes. Janet needed to know where to go and someone like her should know the fastest path to the Dragon and she didn't she would die and if she did she would get to live Another Day. Janet within kneel down in front of her reaching out with her Dragon claw and lifting her head up so she can see into her eyes she could seem to Janet's began to speak.

Listen here miss Carmine...you don't have to die here...help me find what I'm here for and you get to live to see another day...if not then you die here and now…" she would say holding her head up glaring into her eyes.J anet want to make sure she knew that she was in total control in that Annabelle had no power in the situation and Annabelle new this information all too well oh, she could tell that she had to look in her eyes of self-preservation.

W what do you want…." She asked her breath was short and shaky as Janet smiled looking at her struggle glad her poison was working and being as effective as she was hoping. Annabelle Carmine with struggling for any kind of breath any kind of sanction in her voice as the poison course through her only hurting her more and more by the second it was then Janet spoke again.

Somewhere in this building there is a dragon locked away in this building...I want to know where it is…" Janets said seeing through hesitation on her face. This was good because that meant she knew what she was talking about. Janet would lean in closer. "Speak quickly or do you wanna due.." She said grabbing her neck choking her a little. Janet would normally not resort to torture if she didn't have to she actually headed towards your dude on what happened to her while the time if she's going to kill someone she normally do it quickly. however this was mom was she needed to know where to go and she couldn't risk getting the wrong information so I guess a little torture would have to be applied as she quickly started to tighten her grip and give her the most intimidating stare she could not happy right now but she was still determined.

She gasped and spoke in a raspy voice. "R Right b below the Council Chamber...in a cave chained up" she said as Janet lets her throat go and threw her to the ground harshly looming over her debating to herself but she was a dragon of her award so she would only look down at her before turning away. " you get to live this time but make no mistake next time you might not be so lucky I suggest you are getting stronger or hoping we never cross paths again" she said that she would then take off running down the hallways towards the council room. Now that she had a destination and where to go she was more confident in herself to rescue her sister. As she ran down each hallway looking for the council chamber hoping she wanted any more guards she would eventually come across a pair of large wooden doors that were Immaculate in design carved beautifully but she can only assume it's an important room for half the chamber she was looking for. For a brief moment she can listen and hear all them cows outside are dragons still she can listen and hear all them chaos outside her dragons still going and doing their work as they would destroy the city and buy her time can't swear that's where all the guards were they will need all hands on deck to deal with the Beast outside which made this extremely easy for Janet however she was sure something else would stop her but for now she had a job to do. She would real back her face and blow up in the doors with one powerful punch as she slammed them open and walk inside looking around this was indeed where they would have their Council meetings a large circular room in which was designed immaculately looking beautiful though there wasn't much in it since they made me stood around in a magic Circle however this one was radiating Magic. Janet would look around to see walk to Center the room of the room actually it was quite nice despite it being so empty but with that she would follow up her face and look down to the 4th it wasn't made anything too special Janet proscia can easily break through this. The feeling you can only get when you're with a family member the feeling you get when you know you're in safe hands and that you can rest easy at night do not worry.
