So this is how their day was going to go, huh? A pair of twin siblings—a brother and a sister—screaming at the three Knights from the top of their lungs, completely berating and denouncing their "bond" as coworkers? Apparently this is what warranted the intervention of a Knight of his calibur plus two others. It was complete nonsense and Doppo was beginning to suspect that they were no older than sixteen by the looks of them.

As much as Doppo wanted to leave, these siblings, unfortunately, were harrassing the townsfolk of Shirotsume. There were many reports of aggravated assault, battery, and just generally being a public nuisance with all of their challenges.

Atop a roof, the two twin siblings screamed at them from up high. Doppo listened indifferently.

"Dear sister! Look at those fools gawking at us from below! Who are they to think they can possibly challenge our bond?!" hooted the brother.

"What insolence! Truly!" the sister echoed.

Doppo seemed almost at a loss for words. What kind of life and oddly intimate life did these twins live for them to get such dumb ideas in their heads? Is this what teenagers did in their free time nowadays? Harass the townsfolk of mountain villages with a strangely close bond? The redhead didn't know and didn't care enough to ask his three juniors—Privates Hawke, Grappa, and Jellisha, who accompanied him on this mission.

". . . Ahh. . . right, so. . ." Doppo started with a sigh, awkwardly scratching the scalp of his head, ". . .you two need to come down here so we can get all of this resolved and—"

Suddenly, a rock flew down from up above and landed on the very center of Doppo's head. It bounced off and onto the road beneath them, leaving a glowering expression on his face as he stared up at them.

"Take that! You guys clearly aren't tough enough to even speak with us!" the brother suppressed a smirk and laughed.

    "Exactly!" the sister echoed again.

Another day, another fish. Today brought Grappa and Jellisha along to help some of their fellow Rune Knight members out with a very important mission, or at least that's what the clerk behind the counter said as she tried to convince the two that the mission they had been assigned was integral to the safety of people of the world. Jellisha rolled her eyes but Grappa seemed all the more happy to go and help, even when it turned out they were just going to help a pair of siblings down from a roof from causing an annoyance to everybody within earshot. They arrived just in time for the shouting match to begin. The brother and sister above were hurling vulgar language and insults on anybody that passed them, including the group of Knights that had come to put a stop to their nonsense. the twins looked at the General with a curious glance as they scouted the situation.

"So, General, whatcha gunna do? It's not like we can throw a spell at them." "Not unless he gives us an order to."

Grappa puffed her cheeks out at her sister, who was much too busy with a smug looking expression plastered on her face to care much for it. "Still, we can't do much if they don't wanna come down. Unless you want us to go up and get them down ourselves." The General cleared his throat and spoke to the brother and sister on top of the mountainside building, hoping to come to some sort of come together. His answer came in the form of a rock clocking him square center in his face. It landed with a small "pap" while the older gentleman would stare at the two who had just insulted them once more. The action made Grappa angry, the human form'd Exceed stomping to the forefront and placing her hands on her hips, a finger pointed at the two.

"Hey, snobs!" She said in a commanding voice, a much darker and more serious side of her Jellisha hadn't truly seen before. Her eyes narrowed at the two. "Now you've turned your fun into a little petty crime! Come down here with your hands up or we're coming to get you the hard way!"

This job was turning out to be more and more peculiur the longer the day went on. Initially Veronica had been brought to the understanding that this would be some kind of super important mission that would pertain to the safety of everyone. Obviously with an explanation like that the Rune Knight's most recent recruite was more than excited to take on the task offered to her. She even figured the fact that she'd be going along with not just a general, an odd, older fellow that went by some strange name like Doppo or something, but two other of her fellow knights then it must have been something extremely important.

The job even required they travel to a town called Shirotsume, a travel the motion-sick dragon slayer didn't enjoy in any way. The entire time she hung her head out of the carrage, praying she didn't vomit at all in fear it'd reflect badly on her already non-existant reputation within the knights' ranks. She hated this trade off. Amazing magic granted to her directly from a dragon, yet the price was the inability to stomach any kind of vehicle in motion. Such an embarrassment. Upon their arrival Veronica had to take a moment once they were out of the carrage. "Y-you all go ahead.... I need a minute..."

Having assured her fellow knights that they could go ahead and she would follow behind shortly Veronica took a few moments to allow her stomach to settle back down. "Stupid dragon slayer magic. I never had to worry about motion sickness this badly before I met that damned dragon." She grumbled to herself. Finding her companions proved less of a challenge than she expected. The situation they had been asked to come handle ended up causing enough of a scene that it was easy enough to find.

As she approached, sword clapping against her back, Veronica managed to catch the sight of Doppo being struck on the top of his head by a rock. The whole incident was so surreal that she had to fight back a snicker. Doppo held himself in such a slacker-like posture at that moment that his getting hit in the head by the rock was somewhat comedic. But that resulted in another of their comrads, one of the twins, she wasn't sure which one, approached to building and looked up. Her claim that the person's fun had become a petty crime brought Veronica's face towards the roof. She couldn't believe it. Their job was to calm down some kids that had gotten too rowdy?

Doppo could hardly feel any pain that any normal person might've felt if their heads were struck with stones. The redhead would've tended to the situation more attentively if the twins didn't refer to him as "General." But Doppo wasn't a General—he was a Major. Catching the mistake, he peered over to the twins without a change in his expression, still as indifferent and weary as before.

"Ah, no—I'm not a Gener—" Doppo started, but was interrupted with another rock striking his head. The laughter of the siblings up atop the building could be heard faintly amidst Doppo's explanation, but he would continue regardless. However, despite his expression remaining the same, his face suddenly began to cover itself with cross-popping veins—most notably on his temples.

"I'm not a Genera—" A rock bigger than the ones before interrupted him again. Another popped vein appeared.

". . .I'm not a Gen—!!" Instead of a rock, an entire cement block was thrown onto his head, and while splitting into pieces upon contact, his entire face suddenly began to bleed. It was at this point that Doppo's face was now littered with cross-popping veins, and if any more appeared on his face, it was certain that it would explode. But coincidentally, it seemed as if something else exploded regardless of how much he suppressed himself—and it just so happened to be his temper.

Abruptly, Doppo reached down to grab the broken cement block and chucked it at the laughing twins with all of his power. Not surprisingly, the cement pieces flew by their faces so fast that one couldn't even see them, and suddenly the vigor from their complexions drained as a result. When they looked down at him, they could only see his shrunken irises, bloody face, pulsating veins, and a finger pointing at them accusatorily. He was livid.

"WHAT THE F*CK? WHAT'S YOUR F*CKING PROBLEM, ASSHOLES? GET THE F*CK DOWN HERE! YOU'RE BEING ARRESTED, F*CKERS! F*CK YOU!" Doppo screamed at them.

An older man noticed the man's hollering, and in an attempt to pacify him, approached him. "Is everything alright—"

Doppo suddenly turned to face the older man now. "AND F*CK YOU TOO! GET OUT OF HERE, DUMBASS! IT'S DANGEROUS! CAN'T YOU SEE I'M ABOUT TO LOSE MY SHIT?"

"Erm—you are, right now, losing your shi—"

"F*CK OFF, MOTHERF*CKER." Doppo cursed at him, steam practically pouring from his head. The redheaded Major then looked to the twins and Private Hawke. "AND IT'S MAJOR! NOT GENERAL, DUMBASSES! MAJOR SUZU-F*CKING-KI. NOW BEAT THEIR ASSES—OH, WAIT, WAIT—SHOULD I BEAT THEIR ASSES? IS THIS WHAT IT'S COME TO?!"

The privates were probably unaware of this side of their Major. It was actually quite obscure, but he did have quite the temper. The old man, as told, did fuck off, and the twins up above were just in shock.

Jellisha had to physically hold back to sister but was clearly failing to based on how hard her heels were digging into the ground. "Lemme go, Jellisha!" she grunted, trying to squirm her way out of the other girl's grasp. The other twin was pulling her back to the group from the twins on the rooftop while gritting her teeth. "Stop...We're supposed to arrest them, not kill them!" The leader of the group kept trying to correct their little snafu but kept getting interrupted by the falling rocks from aobe. With each rock thrown Grappa only seemed to be getting angrier and angrier. It wouldn't be long now before Jellisha's grip was going to fail on her. Then those two up above would be sorry they ever did something like that. The General Major would continue trying to correct them on that little slip up both of the twins had but kept getting interrupted. First by a rock, then by a much larger rock. Even Jellisha would have found it humorous had it not been for that entire concrete chunk that was hurled at him. The joke stopped as he literally screamed from below at the two above. Everyone froze during his little shouting much as both twins took pause. What strange word did he use? They had never heard that one before.

    "F*ck?"

Grappa repeated the word that Major Suzuki had used as Jellisha would tilt her head to the side. The air was thick and full of tension while the twins above weren't even throwing anything anymore, presumably stunned by the outburst of the red haired man below. Even an old man came to try and calm the storm that was their superior officer but only received a yelling of his own. Jellisha furrowed her brows and looked at General Suzuki. "Hey, chill out. The old man didn't do anything. Don't get upset at him because your face got used as target practice." During her retort to Suzuki, Grappa had managed to slip out of her grasp as Jellisha flailed to try and contain her. It took some doing but she caught a ride to the roof of the building with her sister. The two shifted into their humanoid looks while Grappa would storm closer to the two.

"You heard the General! You're under arrest!" "Yeah, so, uh...Just hold your hands behind your heads and, wuh?"

Grappa had taken Jellisha's hands and began to spin her around to generate the wind needed to use their magic. "Grappaaaaaaaaah!" Wind began to form around the vortex the twins were creating as it would be aimed directly act the two in front of them. The blur of twin bodies would generate a strong gust of wind which hit the offending twins, toppling them down to the ground with a loud thud. The spinning slowed down until Grappa and settled back down and Jellisha was only just barely stable in her balance. "They're all yours, General! We'll be back down soon!" Her sibling was on the ground as the world kept spinning around. She shook her head and was helped back to her feet by Grappa.

    ❖ A SIBLING'S BOND ❖ (Job/G&J/Endolf) Empty Re: ❖ A SIBLING'S BOND ❖ (Job/G&J/Endolf)

Post by Endolf 20th December 2019, 9:24 pm

Veronica found herself looking absolutely dumbfounded at the spectical that had unfolded before her. Apparently she had arrived too late to be of any actual use to the job as their officer in charge proceeded to verbally explode at not only the children on the roof but the twin Knights with him and even an elderly man that had approached him in an attempt to de-escalate the situation and calm the higher ranked Knight down a little bit. The young tomboy couldn't believe someone with such a high rank in the Rune Knights would actually have the ability to act so brash and unprofessional while out representing them on a job. The mortification only grew in intensity as she watched one of the twins start to get more energized.

The word f*ck had begun to circulate around the trio and resulted in the more hyper of the twins repeating the word with some kind of excitement at actually hearing it. Then the situation got amazingly worse, by Veronica's standards at least, as the same twin grabbed the one that was attempting to get things back on track and under control. A valiant effort as far as Veronica considered it. The hyper of the twins began swinging her sister around, literally, as the two produced a vortex of wind from their rotations that reached up and knocked the children causing the disturbance from the roof.

Veronica literally had no clue what it was that she could have possibly done at that point considering how absolutely f*cked everything had gotten in the incredibly short amount of time since her own arrival on the scene. It actually took her what felt like several minutes before her brain seemed to finally process everything and start working properly again. "MAJOR SUZUKI!" She shouted, getting the superior's attention as she began approaching her fellow Knights. "Collect yourself sir, we're still on an official job." The statement was one of truth and professionalism, which Veronica hoped she could jog back into Major Suzuki with the simple action, before she turned to the twins. "Can you two please make sure those children aren't hurt?" She questioned them.

Finally Veronica's attention turned to the elderly man their Major had verbally assaulted. "I apologize on behalf of the Major, sir. This wasn't a job that needed to escalate to the levels it did and you certainly didn't deserve to have the people you asked for help from insulting and assaulting you in such a manner." She stated, bowing to the older man as a sign of her apology.
