"I suppose that, just as the job said, that is certainly an unusual weed."
Odhran had just entered the Beanstalk Village, where very unusual weeds would be presently sitting in the center of the village square. They were strangely purple, with large leaves and a slight, darker purple mist around them. It was likely poisonous, Odhran figured. The best way to avoid a poisonous plant? Celestial Spirits! That would be the mindset Odhran would take, quickly slipping out his Golden Key.
"Gate of the Scorpion, Scorpio! Bring upon this foolish foliage the wrath of a thousand stars!"
He swiped his hand down, opening the gate where Scorpio would then appear. He smiled, staring down the plants with a strange fervor about him. "You want me to bust up all these plants, boss? Sure can do! Let's unleash a single-"
Odhran laughed. "I thoroughly enjoy your enthusiasm, Scorpio, but we are not to terminate every last one of these plants! No, we have been instructed to keep one within an inch of its feeble life to bring as a specimen to the herbalist who has tasked us with this job. The rest of the weeds are free to destroy at your leisure, Scorpio, but we must keep at least one of the vicious, binding weeds as a trophy of triumph to the herbalist! Go forth, Scorpio, and show your worth!"
Scorpio grinned, charging head-first into the the pack of plants. He leaped into the air, opening his claws to their fullest as streams of sand fired forth, pelting the plants with earthen wrath. The plants shriveled and died within seconds, but one large one in particular stood in the way. Scorpio was prepared to fire off yet another blast of sand when Odhran stopped him. "Truly your power is great, Scorpio, but perhaps we should allow some of our other companions to enjoy the fun of destroying such evil plants that dare to plague this poor, defenseless town."
Scorpio reluctantly agreed, stepping backwards as Odhran summoned forth Lupa. She barked, allowing a series of applause to emerge from the townsfolk. Lupa wagged her tail, enjoying the attention before realizing she had work to do. She landed on the ground next to the plants, her paw emitting a shockwave of firey blasts that burned down the plants with ease, though they accidentally set the village alight as well. Panic soon erupted, Odhran panicking as he summoned Arnaluuk to help quell the flames. Lupa stomped once more on the ground, extinguishing many of the fires as Scorpio and Arnaluuk did their own part in sparing the rest of the village. Odhran himself did little, expending much of his energy to trying to stay calm, but he at the very least remembered his job in this, noticing a small weed unscorched by the flames. He quickly rushed over to pick it before it, too, was accidentally destroyed by the chaos ensuing from a mixture of attempts to quell the flames and accidentally destroying the town with those very same methods of quelling the flames. Finally, the panic ceased and the town was left partially destroyed as Odhran rushed off to return to Errings Rising before the townsfolk could get mad at him for accidentally destroying their village.
