The burning sensation overtook his entire body at a gradually increasing pace, all of his veins looking like they were about to burst from beneath his skin, the colour of the veins a very vibrant purple. Whatever had been the purpose of the spell, it was working extremely well as Ikkouyou Izou felt his magic, his divinity, his immortal essence draining away from him as the seconds ticked by. His eyes, originally closed, now opened wide as the spell entered its final phase, his expression one of ferocity and indignation.
Izou’s eyes looked like they were literally burning, as his eyes began to glow with a light of the same shade as the purple liquid running through his veins. And just as he began to feel as though his entire head was about to burst…
Izou woke up from his slumber with a start, eyes wide as he looked around him. His forehead was covered in cold sweat, while he was sitting cross-legged in a corner of the cabin. His spear, Evil Annihilation, was placed across his lap. His sudden awakening had scared the other occupants of the cabin. There were four of them, crew of the ship that they were travelling on. Giving them a glance but not acknowledging them, the armoured man stood up from the ground and walked towards the door.
“Good timing. We just arrived. Welcome to Amber Island,” the captain of the vessel commended while he steered the ship, Izou ignoring him and walking to the front of the ship. With a few masterful strokes of the navigation wheel, the captain got the ship docked perfectly and immediately the crew on duty leapt from the ship onto the docks, tying the ship down.
“Thank you for the passage,” the exiled Battle God said before vaulting over the side of the ship and landed on the wooden dock with a loud thump. He ignored the looks that were given by the other people. His spear was already no longer in his hands, having returned it to his Requip dimension. As he walked towards land, Izou took a good look at the large castle that stood in the middle of the island. “This is the end of the road for you, demon.”
Izou stood before a set of huge doors, and with narrowed eyes, threw the doors open with a well-placed kick. The doors swung on their hinges to allow the exiled god to enter. His spear had been summoned, now held in his right hand as he took the first step into the large hall.
