Personality:
Having grown up in a tribal, nomadic culture, the sense of living together in a group and constant travel were engraved into Thane’s mind. He had his fill of the communal living, but the wanderlust had been imprinted onto him in a way that one could not remove that desire. His tribe valued strength above all else, but Thane did not think in the same way. He could fight quite well, but it was scholarly avenues where he truly shined. Such clash of interests continued to create a rift between him and his tribe as he grew up.

Unlike the kin of his tribe, Thane is quite laid back and always open for a conversation, especially if there is something new to learn. He enjoys sharing his knowledge with others, provided they are interested. One could call him a gentle giant, as he extends his hand to help out wherever he is able to. Thane can be a bit stubborn, but if he is presented with enough proof and reason, he is willing to take a step back and re-evaluate his actions and thoughts. His tongue can give way to a grain of sarcasm every now and then, a remnant of his countless arguments with his peers and elders. Thane is quite patient and not that easily provoked, but if somebody knows how to push his button, they will have an advantage.

In battles he fights with equal ferocity of his kin, but unlike them, Thane is more than open to the idea of fighting in a team. Be it a target to draw attention or supporting his allies, Thane is quite versatile in his assignments and is used to being ordered. However, he feels that he is not competent enough to be a leader and as such, he will openly refuse a position that would include any leadership needs.



Likes:
⥾ To travel - Travelling around the world and seeing new sights is probably Thane's most favourite thing to do.

⥾ Culinary arts - While he may not be the best cook around, there is something therapeutic about that activity. Thane's experience is mostly based on outdoor cooking over an open fire.

⥾ Efficiency - Both in his childhood and later on after he started to travel by himself, Thane had been taught how to be quick, while using the least amount of energy or materials. This sentiment also extends to people and he likes those who can get their point across in a swift way.


Dislikes:
⥾ Cold temperatures - Even though the nomadic life acquainted Thane with many different climates, he could never quite get used to the colder areas.

⥾ Being marked as a dragon - Due to his outer look, it is quite easy for people to point fingers at Thane, calling him a dragon. He just grits his teeth and with forced calmness he explains that he is not of draconic descent.

⥾ Arrogance - People who think and act as if they are so much better than others just because of their looks or social position irritate Thane to no end.

⥾ Bumping into stuff because of his height - Because Thane is incredibly tall, he bumps into doorframes, lamps, ceilings, you name it. There are only few buildings that have been built with tall people in mind. He knows to be cautious indoors, but it does happen every now and then.

⥾ To learn and discover - Thane has always enjoyed learning new things and discovering new places and it is this drive that pushes him forward.

⥾ Meet his old friend - After Thane left his tribe to be on his own, he met a peculiar member of one of Joya's many tribes. It was him who presented Thane a Soulstone and they travelled for a while together. Thane hopes to meet him once again.

⥾ Crack the mystery of Soulstones - Mysterious stones that Thane had discovered weren't as one of a kind as he thought, right after being first introduced to them. Where did they come from and how they hold such knowledge? He will get to the bottom of this.

⥾ Never meeting his old friend - A fear that goes hand in hand with his desire to meet the old friend. Thane hopes that he is doing fine and nothing terrible happened to him.

⥾ Letting down those who depend on him - There is no greater shame, when people depend on Thane to help them and he fails. A sense of quiet dread that always pops up whenever he volunteers.

⥾ Concussion - From the amount of times Thane had bumped his head because of height, he is surprised that he is still fine, but he is sure that he is bound to get a more serious injury in due time.
