Public Safety Power Outage Hiatus

Due to high fire danger this week in my area, many cities including mine will be having a power outage for the next couple days to prevent possible wildfires. Normally I could still hang around discord through my phone thanks to back up batteries to charge from, but because every power line in the area must be inspected and possibly repaired before they turn the power back on, it could up to a week. That's a bit longer than I expect my back-up charging sources to last so I'll be around more intermittently.  Unless the power company runs things more smoothly than expected and the outage only lasts a day, then I should be around as normal.

Thank you all. ^.^ It looks like I lucked out. The next neighborhood over lost power, but not mine. The dry and windy conditions have passed, so PG&E has started the days long process of inspecting and restoring power. So being one the lucky one who doesn't have to wait I can end my hiatus early. \o/

I was lucky enough last time. *fingers crossed* I will be again. At least this time PG&E has way ti see if your address might be in the area with power shut off. I happen to be in just such an area. I'll be in temporary hiatus again. PG&E's language states power MAY go out in 36 to 48 hours. If it does, it could be out for more than two days. An improvement on their estimate of up to five days last time. Same deal as last time also, until the high winds and other fire dangers pass,PG&E won't start turning anyone's power back on. And they have to inspect all the de-engergized power lines for damage first also. If I don't lick out this time, my internet access could intermittent at best.

*dances!* o/` the power is back. the power is back the power is back o/` *coughs* four days without power and hoping to not to have to evacuate does weird things when its over. anyway. *dances!* back up power made it easier to stay somewhat active via my phone better than I thought it would, but with power back it means my internet access is again stable for the forseeable future and so my hiatus can end. \o/ *keeps dancing!*
