The Tarot Mage
A grin was upon the tarot readers face as Victoria had agreed to help her out. She had given her a quick nod. Noya had made her way up onto Gaia’s shoulder and looked over at the robot near her master. Gaia was a little impressed that this machinery was able to simply accept it’s new name rather easily. Honestly, she was a bit happy that it did. She felt it was much easier than having to say each letter, M.A.I. constantly.
“Don’t worry, I don’t think we will remove your name, Mai. Others may find it easier to talk to you with that name as well.” She muses to the robot rather happily.
When they were inside the guild hall, a frown started to form on her lips when her question about where the female looking robot child came from, or why she crashed. She didn’t have an answer for her… Honestly, that put a damper on Gaia’s thoughts. Victoria asked the newcomer a question, and Mai seemed to respond to both hers and Victoria’s questions. No mark could be put on apparently… but that unfortunately wouldn’t do.
“I am sorry, my dear, but to be able to get in the guild hall and be apart of Sabertooth, you will need a mark on you. It does not do anything besides allow you to come from Ace of Spades, where you crashed, to come up here in the guild hall.” She explains casually to the robot. She looks at the girl wearing her cloak, and then gasp as she had an idea.
“I shall be back in a moment. Victoria, may you stay here briefly?” She questions.
Regardless of Victoria’s answer, Noya had stayed behind and went up to the robot to investigate her for herself. Of course the little creature was curious about what in the world this thing was. She had never met one before. The only thing she met were humans really! And a werewolf once. The humans the snowy ferret was iffy comfortable with, it depended oh how they themselves seemed to act. And the werewolf was okay, he did not bother her after they calmed down from meeting the tall giant the first time. A few minutes later, Gaia had returned with a folded stack of clothes.
“Here! Some clothes!” She muses.
“We humans aren’t too fond of others being nude, usually. We are especially not too fond of people whom seem like children to be running around in the nude too.” She hoped it would be adequate reasoning for the robot to don the tank top and shorts she got her. She had also gotten her a belt in case the shorts didn’t fit.
After briefly stamping the robot when she finally got herself fixed up, Gaia had left the room and stretched a bit. She looked to the card that her little snowy ferret had picked, and noticed something.
“Noya… you picked two again…” She mumbles as she knew the ferret did a reading basically. Holding the cards, technically, upright, the tarot reader spread the two cards apart. She paled a little at the second card underneath the now blank one that was used to stamp others. Reverse Page of wands. Was this in respect to the new member? The page ment lack of direction and negativity, and even feeling caged. She takes a deep breath and shakes her head. Only time would tell.
