Magic Type: Primary Ancient (+30% spell durability)/Auxiliary Caster (+10% MP cost reduction)
Description: The most basic ability of a Mage, is ethernano manipulation. In truth, all forms of magic could justifiably be called such. However, in the art of direct manipulation, few go beyond the point of taking in ambient ethernano to fuel their magic, instead learning one of the various powerful magics of the world. Meanwhile, they unknowingly turn their back on a seemingly simplistic form of magic. Direct Ethernano Manipulation.
Bay had just begun to explore his magic when he discovered this virtually unexplored region of spellcraft. As it only consists of more advanced forms of basic techniques, it doesn't actually require any special movements or words to cast, though he sometimes adds these to aid in mid-battle refinement. In fact, his spells are only techniques which he has refined enough to be battle capable. Other spells may be cast, but they're pointless in that they either break the moment any true force is applied, or simply don't do anything in the first place.

- Arcane Eye: Bay is capable of both seeing, and understanding ethernano, and its movement. This allows him to accurately determine the relative power of an opponent, what types of magic they use, and the details of spells being casted, all by sight.

Description: Bay holds his hand in front of himself, then slowly closes it. After that, all Ethernano in the area is suppressed. As enemy offensive spells enter the area, it uses its durability to snuff them out. Additionally, all enemy mages in the area take a 50% magic power debuff. - Name: Lacrima Seed

Description: A lesser version of a far more powerful spell. In its current form, it is characterized by him holding his hand up, palm facing an enemy, and forming a lacrima spike, which then pierces its way at the opponent, dissolving after it hits.

Description: To cast this spell, bay holds his hands to either side, palms down, and slowly tilts them so they are facing upwards. After which, all ethernano in the area is condensed into countless lacrimas, each about the size of a small marble, which pummel opponents within range for the duration. This spell also prevents anyone within range from regaining mana while active. When the spell ends, the lacrimas return to their original state.
