Personality:
Grigori exerts an authority that comes from years of being in control. While he can sometimes overstep his bounds given that, more often than not his confidence and demeanor sway others into agreements they might not otherwise accept except in that moment. It's a tool he has learned to use, as it throws others off-balance; could his confidence stem from a hidden trump card, or is he wholesale bluffing? Even those who have known him for years can at times find themselves second guessing at times.

While he prefers to be in a leadership role, he isn't opposed to being in a supporting role so long as he feels as though he is in control of his specific situation. Even if he has to play secretary, he will go through and organize the paperwork neatly and carry an extra couple of pens in case one should give out on him. Time consuming, but it stresses him out to be unprepared and he absolutely HATES surprises.

When in charge, Mr. Crowe believes in a gentle but firm hand. Once he knows a person capabilities, he expects them to perform those tasks he assigns adequately. He rarely doles out compliments, in theory making those rare ones he gives more meaningful. In the case of failure, he rarely raises his voice or acts in anger, but instead wants them to reflect on their failure and what could be done differently in the future to avoid such a predicament. It is typically only when someone refuses to accept responsibility for their role in any given event that his anger is sparked, as more often than not that thought process only leads to the same mistakes being repeated.

Mr. Crowe tends to treat people with an aloof respect that comes from dealing with nobles and higher-class clients. While this is generally a good way to ensure the least amount of friction in a general setting, it can be off-putting to down-to-earth types who prefer to be far more friendly. He prefers to keep things professional, only opening truly to those he has formed a deeper relationship with.

Grigori typically tries to avoid conflicts which could turn physical(or magical as the case may be) in nature, as he would rather talk things out and come to an agreement. In the case that friendliness or implied threat of force proves ineffective, Mr. Crowe will typically attempt to use overwhelming force to stop the fight before it even begins. He abhors his own "assets" suffering damage, and is rarely looking for a fair fight except in the case to send a message.

-Loyalty: In his years as a businessman, Grigori has learned to value loyalty above all else. Someone you cannot trust is a liability.

-Preparedness: More so than even simple organization, being prepared for possibilities that should arise keeps Grigori feeling in control.
Dislikes:
-Betrayal: Grigori has been burned on a deal on more than one occasion by an ambitious underling who thought they make their own fortune by going renegade. Dark guilds have been contacted on multiple occasions to deal with such idiocy.
-Incompetency: While Grigori enjoys seeing promising employees blossom into thier individual talents, he has little patience for those that never learn from this mistakes. They can do almost as much damage as straightforward betrayal.
-Idle time: Time idle is time wasted. While Grigori understands the need for others to have their own downtime, he feels that wasting his own only serves to put his constantly changing goals out of reach.
Motivations:
-Accruing power: Grigori learned early in life that the powerful are afforded opportunities that the average person can scarcely dream of.
-Seeing growth in others: After becoming a father, and whilst fostering employees who would one day become the backbone of his company, Grigory learned to enjoy watching those he depended on succeed and grow into individuals who were far greater than how they began. One of his greatest joys was watching his son grow into a man who could inherit the company that Grigori had built with his own hands.
-Learning: Knowledge is power, and Grigori knows that a greater understanding of even the more basic things in life can prove to have great benifits.

-Failure: As hard as Grigori can be on his own underlings, he is even harder on himself.
-Loss of control: Throughout his life, Grigori has spent a great deal of time pulling the strings and feeling certain of his choices. Feeling as though his strings have been cut and everything is getting out of hand is one of the most frightening things he has dealt with.
