As Heero walked onwards in his baby blue Kimono; he yawned after Garfield quipped a final line. Taking his mind off of his cat; and bothering to take a gander around. It was really nice here; people had the forst to provide shade; but it was still warm; rivers and trees. People even had slung hammocks between trees...it looked comfortable.
'Tang!'
Heero looked behind him as the light pole shook comically; Serene on the ground in a complete daze. Garfield flew down onto her, as Heero walked up. Bending his knees so that he was on ground level with her.
"Maybe I should've had them clear the street signs out of town before we came...."
"Aye! She's like a deadly weapon against them." Garfield quipped; adding on, as Heero smiled; only jesting. He bent down grabbing her arms softly; and standing her to her feet. He held her there; for a moment...naturally right? She was so pretty, even way out here. But wait---
"Look where you're going next time..." he said in a quiet voice as he spun around blushing. She hates when I check her out too much.....I'm just going to do it anyway...' Heero thought mischevously. Garfield moved himself onto Serene's head for a ride; leaning forward and resting his paw on his face.
"Let's stop and get some potaetoes and fish! Maybe a slushy drink!"
"Oi, we're here to get the job done, b---hmm, maybe that did sound kind of good Garfield." Heero agreed, in a thoughtless manner. Putting a hand to his face comically as he got a thought bubble of different foods; Serene in a hammock looking bedazzlingly sexy, and Heero sitting and having a sandwich. Just when his lazy streak was about to kick in and he suggest they spend the night here and do the job tomorrow (while someone's daughters are kidnapped!); someone spoke up.
"Did I hear you right young man, you there in the blue?" a working man, Heero could tell by his tank top; muscular arms, and buzzcut. He was older than Heero; and as he walked up, Heero tilted his head down and gave him a big smile. "S-so you're the Wizards we've been waiting for?"
"Aye!" Garfield said from Serene's head, raising a paw.
"S-so adorably, Sandy would've loved that cat! Wizards show up with a talking magical cat, and my baby girl is off in the woods getting who knows WHAT done to her by those gigantic talking monkeys!!!" a woman's voice started off calm, and then burst into tears at the top of the house; which was actually built into a tree; pane glass window and all. She cried hysterically, and then slammed the door to the house.
"........"
"........."
Heero and Garfield both had an expression of both confusion, fear, and respect, as a sweatdrop appeared over both their heads. Garfield still riding on Serene's head.
"I---I'm sorry. She's been gone since 6PM yesterday....they came and, well, we can't do much to stop them; even with the guns from the Neutral Grounds we've got." he sighed. "T-they took her into the Deep Magnolia Forest, there's too many of them...please hurry and go bring my baby girl BACK home!" he nodded to Heero, and settled his eyes on Serene. "Sandy's around you're age, please help her.......we'll be here waiting. The town'll give you anything you want for free on the way out; food...supplies, whatever we can do to help. Because...most of them have lost a girl too; probably been crying their eyes out for most of the day like my wife as well..."
Garfield on Serene's head would burst into a well of anime tears comically; a huge baby.
Heero however looked dead serious; imagining families with pictures on the wall; and a plate of hot food there for someone who's missing is not, not alright by him!
"Who the hell do those apes think they are, spreading so much misery..." Heero didn't need to act tough or serious to send chills up your spine. He'd just remain silent, and follow Serene from here on out. Already extremely pissed off; he knew all about families being shattered; these apes had NO idea about the amount of suffering they were causing for their own perverted means.
