Personality: Ignatius is defined by his belief in human perfectibility. He looks for the potential of perfection in all things and people lending himself to quiet observation and analysis. This fascination with human potential has led him to find great joy in people watching and asking people questions about themselves. While we're on the subject, his favorite subject to delve into are the motivations of people. Occasionally he takes this to a point that makes people uncomfortable.

When he does choose to talk he tends to use very few words, as if he is aiming to communicate what he has to say as cleanly and concisely as possible. Self assurance and decisiveness emanate from everything Ignatius does(especially his speech), backed up by his belief in his own perfection. Following suit his decision making is swift and carries no traces of doubt or hesitation. This makes him fit rather smoothly into leadership roles, except of course when people disagree with him. Compromising is far from his strong suit.

Viewing himself as an all knowing father, Ignatius acts in whatever way he deems most conducive to the growth of those around him. This pushes him towards a certain firm benevolence that can suddenly give way to tough love in the right conditions. This desire to foster personal growth in his peers hinges on the point of obsession. It would not be unfair to describe his thought process on this matter as being completely insane. For example, he would have no reservations towards throwing himself off a train if he thought his friend needed to learn how to catch someone falling off a train. Fortunately for the sake of his continued being alive, he is a pretty good judge of character and only endangers himself because he believes his peer will pull through and save him. That's just the insane faith in humans he has. But for all of his all belief in perfection he is a bit of an egotist...

In battle Ignatius transforms into a merciless executioner. His supreme self assurance leaves no room for sympathizing with the enemy. Which underlines his greatest personal weakness in that his unyielding beliefs impede his ability to learn and consider alternative viewpoints. Ignatius decided he knew best a long time ago and he isn't about to change his mind. While this might sound like a most fatal flaw, he's only been able to build up this absurd ego because he simply hasn't been wrong before. So.... No harm no foul? Yet? Maybe he isn't actually insane? Maybe his sanity is just a little different from ours?

At the end of the day, intense as he may be, he does mean well. He wants nothing more than for people to be their best selves, for their own sake.

-High fashion: Ignatius is dressed to kill at all times. He is especially fond of bespoke suits.
-Rainy days: The dark colors and sounds of rain offer an aesthetic joy to Ignatius.
-Talking: It takes some doing but once you open this man's mouth there is no shutting it. He's more interested in godparents then he'll ever admit.
Dislikes:
-Asymmetry: Surprising no one: Captain Perfect is a neat freak.
-Waste: Ignatius hates seeing potential go to waste.  Wasting time is particularly abhorrent to him.
-Authority: Our boy really doesn't like being told what to do.

-Human Perfectability: We've kinda been over this. Dude has an obsession with this abstract concept.
-Utilitarian good: All this bluster is rooted in a deep desire to do the most good for the most people.
-Immortality: You can't be a perfection seeking egomaniac of you don't want to eternally preserve your perfection.

-No win scenarios: His self worth hinges on the idea that every problem has a solution. That a true unwinnable scenario exists represents the total failure of his beliefs.
-Poison: It could just be anywhere you know?
-The Gods: Our self deterministic friend dreads the idea that humans are just the play things of divine forces.
