The sound of seagulls could be heard overhead and the feeling of coarse sand could be felt under him. Jarnbjorn was laying on his back with his eyes facing up to the sky with the sun beating down on him. With a groan he would sit up facing out at the sea before him with pieces of the wrecked ship that was scattered along the shore. He took a deep breath and would release it in in the form of a sigh. "Odin damn it." was all he could say. Not breaking eye contact he lowered his hand down to his side and took hold of the handle of his axe. "At least I didn't lose this."
Just a few hours prior to this Jarnbjorn was enjoying a short voyage across the sea looking to find his place in this new world he found himself in. It had only been a few days after his reemergence in the Yggdrasil realm and had the small confrontation with Kenna, the guild master of Sabertooth. The successor of Kite, the man who gave up his freedom to give Jarnbjorn not only a second chance at life but his power too. However he can't quite use it yet, not without risking his body being consumed by the flames. The rumbling of thunder could be heard in the distance which caught his attention. His head would turn and his eyes would lock onto the darkened clouds and he could tell this was going to be a nasty storm. Not speaking to anyone specifically but out loud for any passer by to hear if they were closer, "That's going to be a nasty storm." he would start to head towards the front of the ship to see what is about to happen. In a matter of minutes the sky above them turned black and the sea's waves became violent and slammed into the ship causing extreme turbulence but the captain maintained their handle on the situation until lightning cracked across the sky and then slammed into the haul of the ship, as if Thor himself was smiting the boat he was on. The next thing he knew he was now stuck on this island and had no idea what to do next.
He stood up and put the dead of Stormbreaker on the sand letting it stand with the handle up so he could dust off the sand that stuck to his clothes but he would miss the fair amount of sand that managed to get buried in his braided beard and would pick up his axe and hold it over his shoulders. "Hello!" he shouted loudly with his voice booming like thunder across the beach. "Is anyone else alive?!"
