Job Description: You have fought off the harassing Mogul soldiers that had tried to hurt the village and rob them of their crops. However, your actions may of only worsen matters as you learn of the truth... The entire island of Pandaria is under the control of a cruel tyrant-- the present Emperor called Lei Shen, but is called "The Thunder King". Not only does he command the heavens with the power he had stolen from a defeated god, he learned is the one who controls the elements to keep anyone from leaving the island. Now that the soldiers were fought off-- the village of pandas fear of retaliation from the Thunder King's army. Several of their people had been forced into slave labor, and defying the army is punishable by being thrown into the amber mines.
So far, one brave Panda-- named Chen Stormstout had vowed to aid you in your goal to fight while the others are afraid. Your first step-- rescue the fellow villagers now working in the mines and quarry to the west of the island. But beware, not only the mogule but other races that the Thunder King has under its thrall.
Rules: Must roll encounters to find slaves and save them. Enemies Normal and below can be evaded via trickery or stealth. Strong and higher have skills to detect you-- then you cannot use stealth tactics to complete the mission.
Gather a total of 50 slaves to complete the mission.
Enemies:
Weak: Mantids-- Bug-like creatures that are vicious slave drivers. One of the first races the Thunder King had concurred. Individually they are weak but they always travel in swarms. WHen rolled, you encounter 10 C rank enemies capable of using Amber/Sap magic that trap you in gooey amber and earth base magics of similar rank. Each one can be taken out by a single C rank spell or varies via AOE/Multi-Target. (FInd 5 slaves)
Normal: Statue Lion-- A large automaton that guards the quarry/mines, made from enchanted material harvested. Used to keep intruders out and to keep escaping slaves in line. Each roll is equivalent to 1 B rank statue. Melee attacks only deal C rank damage, but takes 50% less damage. Requires 2 B rank spells to successfully kill. (Find 10 slaves)
Strong: Mogule Slaver-- Cruel taskmasters that force the pandas to keep on digging and treats them less than the Mantids. As before, they are made of sentient stone which acts as Strong class armor. 25% of its durability regenerates. They wield both earth and lightning magic of B class power. They most use Lightning whips to strike and keep their slaves in line. (Find 20 slaves)
Boss: Kuai the Cruel-- A Mogule Quartermaster and leader of the operation of the mines. He is an A rank enemy, capable of both Earth and Lightning attacks of B and A rank strength. However, he also has psychic abilities which cause to weaken target's wills to resist and lower their magical and physical defenses, and even MP over time. 7 B rank spells or 3 A rank spells are needed to defeat him. (Find all required slaves)
