Who knew movie like scenes could happen. A magicar chase happens along the outskirts of the town of Magnolia. One is a red magicar, with a man steering wildly as another magicar, a blue one, drives after the red car. The blue magicar had a lady standing upon the roof of the car, guns raised as the magicars swerved into Magnolia Town.

"COM' BAC' 'ERE OI HACKIT HOWLIN JESSIE ROCKET!" The girl on the roof shouted and hurled insults at the the red car and its driver before shooting a tire out of the magicar out. The red car goes out of control, but only for a moment. The two cars continue to drive wildly down the town, the red with the busted tire. The girl fires another straight shot, letting another tire go loose as the magicars continue towards the Fairy Tail guild hall.

"DRIVE BETTE' YER OAF! WE GOT PEOPLE ON THE ROADS!" The girl slams the roof with her feet, only to get an audible groan from the driver. They drive closer and closer to the Fairy Tail Guild, and then they go a bend. While the driver was not quick to catch it, the roof girl did. She jumps off the car and goes into a roll, watching her target run away with a massive bag of things towards the Fairy Tail guild.

"That's IT I HAD ENOUGH!" The girl shouts with anger as she chases after the man, before pulling something out of her ammunition belt. A white cylinder like object in her hands, which the girl throws towards the man. It plinks against the wall of the exterior of the Fairy Tail guild, where the man found himself. A quick shot and the cylinder explodes, breaking the wall and sending the man flying through the wall and breaking whatever is behind it, all she cared for was in the bag that had survived the explosion. She digs into the bag and pulls out her hat. "There... better..." She says as she wears her hat, adjusting it on her head as she also pulls out a luggage bag, obviously filled with her things if the luggage matching her color scheme was any form of a giveaway and oblivious to the damage she had just caused.

Sorano jumped slightly as a crashing sound came from downstairs, the telltale noise of the walls caving in…oh boy was her day off to a good start already. Besides the initial jump, the woman would appear to be completely unfazed as she set down her iLac, leaning out her window to survey the damage that had been done to the first floor. A girl seemed to be cheerfully adjusting her hat, while a man seemed to have been blasted unconscious next to her, lying on the floor as the girl yanked a luggage box out of the bag that had fallen from his thoroughly crisped hand. It seemed she had directed some sort of explosion at him, only to take down half the first floor along with her. Already, the letter mage could see Jessie storming out from behind the bar, holding a meat cleaver in her hand as the bartender and cook went out to deal with the unfortunate intruder.

While Jessie would undoubtedly give the woman down there a good beating, Sorano did realize that ultimately she would have to go down and deal with everything. The stranger had caused great damage to the guild hall, and would have to be in one piece in order to pay for repairs. It would be very unwanted for her to get away before they got some money from her, after all.

Rolling with ease out the window, the letter mage dropped down to the ground, fingers quickly writing out a parachute that formed quickly above her head to bring her gently to the ground. As the billowy fabric fell to the ground, it would slowly disintegrate, catching Jessie’s attention and pulling her eyes over to the guild master. “Hello there, Ms. Jessie. I’ll take care of this one, if that’s alright to you,” she intoned quietly before walking up to the girl. Before making any demands, the letter mage’s fingers scribbled into existence an invisible barrier that she set up behind the intruder. After all, those who vandalized buildings without a care in the world probably wouldn’t feel too bad about running right off.

“Greetings, miss. My name is Sorano Granon, and I’m the person in charge of this building you just destroyed part of,” she said emotionlessly, her voice cold and almost inhuman. It perfectly matched the youth’s expressionless face. It was times like these when she didn’t even pretend to possess the ability to convey feelings. “I’m afraid I will have to ask you to pay the repair fee, as unfortunately walls do not magically build themselves. Frankly, over the years I’ve developed a zero tolerance policy for destruction of property and will be calling the authorities to arrest you if you refuse.”

Even as she spoke, the letter mage was developing spells with the hand behind her back, ready to react at a moment’s notice if the intruder decided to run.

From her office, Arcadia belatedly opened a portal to investigate what the loud noise had been. She was not happy to see the destruction of the guild hall's wall. It seemed Master Sorano had the situation already in hand, so she did not really say anything. The barefoot slayer stepped completely through the portal, allowing it to close behind her.

She surveyed the damage while Sorano addressed the intruder. Arcadia would aid her guild master in a heartbeat, though she also trusted could more than handle the intruder. If they really could get the intruder to pay for the repairs, they would need an estimate. She pulled her iLac from its pocket, and began documenting the damage in photos. She got pictures from outside and inside.

When she beleived she had enough documentation, she used a little spell she had developed for locking doors, windows and sealing off passageways. Puttng her hand the guild hall's exterior at the edge of the damaged section, she channeled her magic power into her palm. A thick wall of ice grew up to seal off the hole. A temporary, but adqueate patch.

Arcadia then sent off the photos to get a preliminary esitimate of repair costs. She joined Master Sorano's side "Whose this? Is she responsible for this mess?"

It took a moment for Winchas to realize she had destroyed a bit too much of the property. She thought it was a wall. Guess walls built forget mages exist. Now however she had a big problem to deal with, a cleaver wielding lady who looks like she could chop the poor gunner into cannibal stew. So in self defense, Winchas fires at the cleaver, shooting the cleaver of the chef bartender's hand. And then she shoots it again as it flew, directly it using bullets to land on the bar table.

Winchas took a breath, doing a quick reload to ensure she had a full clip as she backed up slowly, only to feel an invisible barrier behind her. Gun still in hand, she readily points it at the speaker, only to realize how adorable the owner of the building looks. Putting the gun away and going up to Sorano before petting the guild mistress on the head, with Winchas grinning from ear to ear like she was petting something soft and fluffy.

"Awwww you're so cuteeee even when you are being so serrrrioouuusss aaaaa~" Winchas spoke in a different tone, higher pitch and one befitting of her cheerful appearance, unlike the swearing gunslinger that blew up the first floor wall. Winchas continued to pet Sorano cheerfully before giving her answer to their little problem.

"Oh I'll do ya better! Just gimme a second, big sis will do it right now! No cost repair from the great Winchas "Gatling" Ottoman!" Winchas casually digs through the bag that the roasted man had stolen from her. She pulls out full timbers of wood and a sawbuck, which would explain why the bag was massive. Winchas then went over to her luggage, which upon closer inspection had metal gears and more metal than one would expect of something patterned in white and blue checkerboard to have. Winchas digs under her hat and pulls out a key and slots it into the luggage keyhole. A twist and a click, the luggage begins to unfold itself. Gears whirl as it opens up like a toolbox, with the trays for tools and several spare parts.

"Oh wow there is an ice wall now," Winchas sees the wall that has somewhat patched the hole. She then hears another voice and faces now two adorable looking girls. Winchas could almost faint. "Aaaa! When did the cuteness multiply!" Winchas giggles and jumps, before spreading her arms and legs in a star shape as she goes to pet the two on the head, looking like she was in bliss.

"You two are sooooo cute~ Big sis is happy~ And very sorry about the wall... Big meanie over there stole my things while I was travelling," Winchas then takes out her gun and fires and shoots the body trying to crawl away. "Bugger oaf should burn like the milk drinking ass licking snide gut wrenching rat face person his mother bore by shatting him out and flushing him to Fiore's sewers. Trash." Winchas had a scary look, one that said she could kill everything on site if her fury took over before returning to petting Sorano and Arcadia with a big happy closed eye smile.

Oh no. Oh no no no. Not this type of mage. Sorano watched as the impending hand descended toward the top of her head, and sank into her hair, ruffling it up as though it was the pelt of a dog or something. The girl’s eyes narrowed in slight distaste, before she manipulated the energy beneath the stranger’s hand. It would be as though the air from above her head pushed up, and in the next moment, that intrusive head pat would be deterred, resulting in the hand floating right above Sorano’s head. “I would prefer that you not intrude upon my personal space,” she intoned coldly, before turning around at the sign of a familiar voice.

Arcadia had come out to join the guild master – probably after having carefully calculated repair costs – and asked about the identity of the woman who stood so irritatingly before her. “Yes, she is. Thank you for the impromptu repair.” Sorano’s response was several levels less cold toward her ace, though she could already see the stranger’s reaction to the equally young and apparently “adorable” Arcadia. While Sorano herself solidly maintained the energy between her head and the oddball’s hand, she left Arcadia alone. She was sure the slayer mage could deal with anything she didn’t appreciate.

Instead, she turned her attention to what the strange mage had to say. The woman offered to rebuild the wall herself, and explained how the man she had shot down had stolen her stuff. With a lift of her gun, she shot the injured man again, a dark expression on her face while she cursed him out. Well, that certainly wasn’t acceptable. In this environment, which was already drawing a crowd, it was Sorano’s job to maintain the guild’s appearance. She lifted a finger, pulling the man through the air towards her before writing a heal spell above his battered body. As the wounds closed with the power of her magic, Sorano sighed, and raised her head up to Winchas.

“Look, ma’am. First of all, Fairy Tail does not appreciate your violence here. We maintain a peaceful relationship with the civilians of this town, and we’d like to keep it that way. Second of all, this is not a wall that can be so simply fixed. There are special spells cemented in place, and runes upon the bricks meant to allow the wall to switch from brick to glass with certain commands, or to open the guild hall for special festivals and events. The materials that would have to be used, as well as the magical power that will have to be used are not so easily fixed.” The guild master sighed, tired already.

“If you are unable to pay the repairs fee, I’m sure we can work out some form of agreement. But simply rebuilding the wall is not something so easily done, unless your magical abilities allow it.”

Arcadia smiled briefly to Sorano. "Should do for now." She sighed, smile fading slowly as she glanced down to her iLac screen. "I'll let you know when we get a preliminary estimate sent back. All those bricks being individually enchanted for the same architectural flexibility we had is gonna be the most expensive part with all that labor versus  single casting on the wall as a whole.  You just don't get the same level of flexibility in function or as much durability otherwise.”

When the strange wizard started to explain things, Arcadia listened closely. She set her iLac to vibrate on the next response sent her, and slipped it back in its pocket. The barefoot slayer could certainly sympathize with Winchas despite the strange mage patting her and Master Sorano's head like they  were cute little kitties.  Part of Arcadia wondered if this  was what Sebby or other felines felt like when she pet them and put ribbons in their fur?

Believing she deserved a small bit karma, the wintry slayer endured the patting. It muted her attention and the level of sympathy she felt for the mage's loss of property. Witnessing the defeated thief shot again cut short her tolerance for being petted again. The young slayer could easily deter this kind of thing, but she wanted a more instantaneous solution. Tapping into her dimensional scissors, she opened a very small hands-free portal just above her own pale blonde locks. The exit portal opened just above the top of Winchas' own head, allowing the older mage to paradoxically pet her own head through the portal instead of Arcadia's.

She listened  to Master Sorano steer the situation hopefully back under control. That's when she felt her iLac vibrate in its pocket inher dress. Pulling it back out, she glanced to the message, seeing the preliminary estimate cost of repairs. For that heart-stopping amount of jewel, she hoped Winchas was capable of the complex enchantments and tedium these repairs would require. Once Sorano finished addressing the older mage, Arcadia showed her the bad news. ”Maybe we can work out some discounts to bring that down, but ouch.”

Arcadia added on to what her guild master had to say/ ”I can sympathize, ma'am. But like Master Sorano said, we  prefer to keep things peaceful with our civilian neighbors. Magnolia is no frontier town. You got your stuff back. I think we can call it a day on the retribution stuff.  Now... can your repairs restore all that Master Sorano described?  Or do we need to work out a payment plan? I hope we can work something out. I'd hate to have to tell the authorities that we have two people waiting to be taken into custody, instead of the one. Then we'd have to seek a lien on any jewel you  make after you got out. You seem like a reasonable lady . I'm sure none of that will be necessary.”

Winchas stops petting the two, right she should not be actually acting like this right now. Sighing for a moment as she listens to every detail, she is surprised any building got such an expensive material, and somehow it still could get blown to bits. Winchas was no stranger to enchantment, especially since it was a required study subject. However the price seemed a bit expensive, and while she is not rich now, she does have connections to provide them a better material at a similar price. However that would take several calls, a few letters and multiple meetings. Winchas was no prepared to take that toll right now, not yet.

"Hm..." Winchas rubs her chin as she contemplated her options. She could run, but she is not going to make herself a fugitive on her quest to greatness. Winchas could try to learn the enchantments and spells placed upon such bricks and material. It was clear her ability to build things was not going to be as handy. Winchas surveyed the area quickly, trying to get a feel of the area. Then it hits her, perhaps she could do something after all.

"I'm no enchanter like those who make those bricks, or rather I'm not on their level," Winchas picks up a broken piece of brick, pulls out an eyewear of sorts, like a mono but with multiple purple lens, and looks at the brick. "Such enchantments require time and concentration, along with a healthy meal three times a day. Magic does not always work out with things, but clay seems to conduit the power of magic much better than metals." Winchas puts the brick aside and the weird eyewear. "I'm in no position to ask but this is no ordinary building isn't it? Compared to the lively outside this place seems oddly quiet," Winchas grabs her bag and pulls out a 'Fiore Travel Guide" which she then flips to a page and points to it. "This is the Fairy Tail Guild Hall isn't it?" Winchas continues.

"My name is Winchas "Gatling" Ottoman, daughter of the great "Hand of God" Ottoman, one of Ca-Elum's best smiths," Winchas puts a hand proudly to her chest. "And as his daughter, and a proud child of Ca-Elum, until my debt is repaid, I am forever a servant to you Miss Sorano and to those who you deem my service to be given to as well. I am adept in nearly every form of manual labor, and I ensure my best in any I am not."

Winchas was kneeled before the two, like a knight waiting to be ordered their liege. Winchas was not sure if she could convince the two that her abilities are of any use to them, but she kept the brave face.

Sorano nodded calmly at Arcadia’s prediction of the repair fees. She had expected as much – she’d have to tread carefully to obtain the desired results from these negotiations. As she spoke to Winchas in a steady, cold tone, she would notice the ace glancing down at her iLac. From the aura that radiated around the girl, Sorano could instantly tell that the news wasn’t good. The letter mage took a step back to allow Arcadia to add her bit onto the conversation, nodding along calmly. While the wall would be a hassle, Fairy Tail was a reasonable guild. They were willing to make compromises, but someone had to pay for the repairs – and it sure as hell wasn’t going to be the guild.

Meanwhile, Winchas seemed to begin thinking, rubbing her chin. Finally, she spoke up, confirming what Sorano had suspected of her magical wall-enchanting abilities. After inspecting the material with a strange eyepiece, the stranger tossed a question at them seemingly out of nowhere. “Ah, yes, this is indeed the Fairy Tail guild hall.” Sorano responded affirmatively, tensing slightly in preparation for a verbal defense she may have to conjure up. The guild’s complicated history and confusing origins made for some interesting conversations she didn’t always enjoy participating in, after all. But luckily, the woman would only proceed to introduce herself as an excellent smith from Ca-Elum.

The guild master blinked in surprise. That easily? Winchas had appeared to be the type more likely to run away from what she had seen so far, so it was only natural that Sorano remained suspicious as to whether the smith’s pledge was honest or not. It was especially concerning when she kneeled before the two younger girls’ feet with a brave face.

“Ah…well…maybe not that far, ma’am, but you can definitely repay us in work…” The guild master paused for a moment, trying to come up with the right words to use in such an unorthodox situation. “We’re more than willing to accept you into our guild as a working mage, with a percentage of any job fees submitted to the guild to contribute to wall repairs – maybe with a bit of interest. Does that sound like an agreeable deal to you? Truly, there’s no need to go into servitude…we’re not really into that sort of thing, after all.” Hopefully what she said appealed enough to Winchas…

Winchas snaps her fingers and nods to the agreement. She digs into the bag satchel by her side and pulls out a scroll of some kind and a pen. Writing something on it, she eventually stops and looks at the guild hall before looking at Sorano.

"If I may ask, can I set up a workshop somewhere? I figure some people would like a nice convenient way to maintain their equipment," Winchas pats her toolbox. "I can do nearly everything when it comes to maintaining and repair work, and recently I'm diving into sewing and cloth work so I can soon restore clothes and other cloth based things. I can even study the inner workings of your walls so you don't have to pay so much for repair work on it in the future... Maybe even improve it over time."

Sorano blinked, almost surprised at Winchas' quick agreement. "A workshop? Hmm, we have spaces where you could work - not a private workshop, unfortunately, but a workspace? Definitely. There's spaces on all floors of our building, including the roof, where you could set up. Once we get you settled, I can give you a tour." It seemed that their newest guild recruit was quite the handyman. Maybe she'd be useful to have around.

"Anyways ma'am, I'll have to get your information, and give you a guild mark so you can access the levels of the guild hall." Gesturing at the front door, the letter mage manipulated the energy between herself and the reception desk to summon a sheet of paper and the guild stamp, floating out of the hall and into her hand. "Please fill out this form so we can add you to the directory and be able to contact you when we need you." The sheet of paper would contain blanks asking for name, age, health information, as well as an agreement to not harm guild members, image, or property at the bottom.

"If you have any questions, simply let myself or an ace know. As for your guild stamp, where would you like it to be located? You'll be given an intern-level guild mark - it will appear as only the outline in the color of your choice. Once you contribute more to the guild, you may be able to attain a full guild mark if you choose to stay."
