Freya knocked on the door of the small house stepping back in surprise as too bright eyed identical boys sped out the door running up to her and grabbing hold of her legs. She looked down in surprise “Woah umm I’m guessing you little guys are Chris and Zack” she said looking down at them and smiling ruffling their hair. The grinned up at here “Your gonna take us to the new theme part right?” they said in unison. Freya eyes widened slightly that unison thing was kinda creepy she’d have to get used to it “You bet, but you better let go of my legs or we’re not going anywhere” she said with a laugh, she looked up as presumably their mum walked over towards her a tired smile on her face. The women nodded at the boys “Thankyou so much I’m Alice, please take good care of them I really need to be going now good bye I’ll expect them back at 5” she said grabbing her bag and dashing out the door. Freya smiled and was about to reply but Alice was already out the door and long gone “Ah I was going to say have a safe trip but she left already…well right Zack, Chris grab your bags we’re going to an amusement park!” she said feeling excited herself it had been forever since she’d gone to one herself.

Freya looked up at the amusement park her jaw dropping, it was massive she could hear the sound of excited kids running around, the screams of people on the roller coaster and the sounds of people yelling from their stalls. She smiled and grabbed the two boys hands “Right I’m not letting either of you wonder of ‘kay” she said a stern expression crossing her face. The little boys just laughed and pulled her inside the amusement park running over to several food stores holding up their small amount of jewels grinning as Freya watched them eat treat after treat “Umm guys that’s enough, I dunno were you’re keeping all that food but your gonna run out of money and not be able to go on rides” she said wondering how those kids managed to eat some much. They stopped as she mention rides, a grin forming over the bolder ones face as he glanced at his twin. Freya narrowed her eyes there was something out she was about to tell the kids not to try anything funny when both darted forward their hands slipping from her grasped as they sprinted off towards what looked like a haunted house, then too her amazement they separated as one ran into the haunted house the other ran towards the cue to a rollercoaster. “EEEHHHH!” she yelled in surprise her jaw dropping…those boys were in for it now.

Freya shook herself out of her frozen state and ran towards the roller coaster line where Chris was standing, the little boy turned around smiling innocently at her “You better not try that aga..!” she said halting mid sentence as one of the ride controllers tapped her on the shoulder “Miss would you please sit down the rides about to start” she looked confused for a moment but sat down. “Wait…rides about to start wait WHAAAATT!?!?!?” she yelled as she looked around realising with horror that she was sitting on the roller coaster which happened to go very high in the air and have lots of twists and turns 1. Not good for people who had an extreme phobia of height 2. Not good for a person who also got motion sickness of course Freya happened to have both of those. She gripped onto the bars latching them onto the rollercoaster her knuckles white as she gave a moan shooting a death glare at the little boy beside her “You two are pure eeeevvvIIIIIILLLLLL!!!” she said her voice trailing off into a scream as the roller coaster sped down the first drop, just 40 more to go and around 10 loops of absolute torture for Freya.

Any onlookers standing in the cue to the roller coaster could probably hear the terrified screams of a green hair mage as the little rollercoaster reached its second last loop. The little boy sitting next to Freya covered his ears laughing at her. Freya would have mouthed of to him if it wasn’t for the fact she was screaming her lungs out whilst gripping onto the rail for dear life. If she’d had her way she would have leapt out of that ride at the first loop but there were magic cancellers around the roller coaster track for safety. The roller coaster slowed to a stop finally. One of the ride attendants walked over and pried her fingers from the bar and ushered her off the ride. Freya stumbled out and running off towards some pushing retching. She never wanted to have to endure that again. She wiped her mouth and stood up turning around tiredly and as expected she could see the small figure of Chris speeding off towards the haunted house and stepping in with his little brother. Freya gave an exasperated sigh, they were a handle and it seemed they had cost her most of her breakfast and insides, she was pretty sure she’d lost her stomach too many times to count on that ride. She trudged over to the haunted house standing outside she wasn’t going to fall for the accidentally taking part in the ride trick again. She would just wait for them to come out perfectly easy she thought relieved that it wouldn’t be too hard to wait for them outside.

Freya was about to make herself comfortable on the ground whilst she waited when the haunted house attendant walked over. She was getting a bad feeling already “Excuse miss but those boys were with you, were they not I’m sorry to say but they shouldn’t have gone on the ride without a parent or guardian, so unless you want me to call in the authorities can you please go in the and find them and stay with them” he said frowning disapprovingly at her. Freya mutter about keeping track of those boys easier said than done but she stood up dusted of her skirt and stepped into the haunted house. It was dimly lit but some candles and Freya could barely see, she lifted her hand in front of her fist glow with a green magic aura, it wasn’t much and even with her enhance site she still couldn’t see much further down what looked like a passageway ‘geez this really is a haunted house’. “Zack! Chris! Where are you guys come on out this isn’t funny!” she yelled listening intently for any sound. Sighing and walking forward hopefully by the time she reached the end they would be outside waiting for her…hopefully.

Freya gave a small gulp and gave a squeak as a gust of wind blew out all the candles the sudden surprise causing the green glow to disappear. Freya shivered and her eyes darted around feeling as if the dark was pressing in on her. Oh and it seemed Zack and Chris had a knack for choosing rides that involved her fears. Freya was only scared of three things heights, being alone and the dark. At the moment she was surrounded by darkness and alone. Great. She wrapped her arms around herself and shut her eyes, stroking Orochi’s head “Can you please get me out of here” she whispered. The snake sighed growing bigger and picking up Freya as he slithered along the ground flicking his tongue out as he heard the boys. The two little mischief makers turned around from where they were hiding giggling about the trouble they had cause Freya. The both looked up at the big snaked who grinned. They squealed and started to run away frightened. Orochi simply sighed and picked them both up by their t-shirts and tossing them onto his back where Freya was sitting now having become less frightened as she had regained the soft glow in her hand. She waved at the two kids and smiled “Don’t worry he’s my snake… oh and you two have some serious explaining to do when we get out” she said her eyes glinting and giving off an angry aura. The boys gulped and nodded sitting straight backed next to hair. She didn’t think they’d be misbehaving anytime again with her around.

They reached the exit to the haunted house and Orochi shrunk down to his normal self, regaining it normal spot curled up in her hair. She stepped out into the fresh air and sunlight and smiled stretching “Boy am I glad that’s all over, right so you two not gonna run off on me again?” she asked they gave two meek nods looking at the now small snake in her hair. She smiled at them “Hey don’t be so sad lets go buy some candy and then I can take you two home to your mum” she said steering them towards a lolly pop store, the walls were covered in lolly pops as big as a window in magnolias cathedral to as small as the nail on her pinky finger. Freya shrugged she guessed they had to cater for lots of different people, she laughed and handed over some jewels watching as the shop owner took two off the walls and handed them to the boys. Freya sighed and turned towards the exit and started walking back towards Alice’s house. The boys giggled and ran ahead of her back into their house. Freya sighed and plonked herself down on one of the couches watching as the kids sat down licking their lolly pops happily. It wasn’t long before Alice returned home and handed over Freya’s jewels. She smiled deciding not to mention the incident with the rides, better not. She waved good bye to the kids smiling and making her way back down the street back to Blue Pegasus.
