Returning To The Fold Empty Re: Returning To The Fold

Post by Yuiisai 17th April 2019, 3:17 pm

It had only been a few hours since she had been on Tolgalen looking over the ocean from the beach deciding the path that she would take. It wasn't a decision she thought she would ever have to make, to choose between the boy that had been with her for the last six year or her family and the man that she had loved since they had been children. When she had originally went she didn't know which she would choose, it was cruel for Cirven to make her to choose especially only giving her three days to choose or he himself would choose for her. She knew if he had chosen for her she would have been hurt badly and lost everything all at the same time, she had noticed that his personality had shifted to a more radical version of what it was when they had been children in the care of Cor Torva. Orders had to be followed and if they weren't well her crystal was still repairing, her body still feeling immense pain and would do until it was healed. She offered her life, well she offered him her existence in that one moment but he chose to spare her, she seen the anguish on his face and heard him fighting internally over her fate. He might not be the same person she grew with but there was still part of him that didn't want to get rid of her and for that she was thankful.

She had been given permission to break the terms once through that seventy two hours, the stipulation was she was only allowed thirty minutes with him and during that same time she would have no contact with Cirven or the others. He really did trying to mess with her and usually she would be able to deal with it but this was a new level twisted, it wasn't as if she was choosing something to eat, she was choosing not only her future but theirs too and had no one she could really turn to for advice. Sure she could have asked her twin cousins but they would have told her to follow her heart and Oykai would have told her she was stupid and to get rid of them both for her own well being. Her heart and mind had been torn for almost three days as she went through the pro's and con's of her decision. It wasn't until she remembered one of the few things her twin said to her as a sibling not a reaper that helped her make her decision. "Family remains together no matter what, they are the ones that you depend on when the universe turns against you. Treasure and cherish them as they deserve." she whispered knowing it wasn't exactly what he said but it was close enough.

When she remembered that she had made her decision as hard as it was, she didn't want to hurt Ruvel in anyway but she needed to make sure there was no way that she would be able to go back to him after this. In fact she had tried to end his life so he wouldn't feel anymore pain, something she realised should have happened much sooner in his life but she was to scared to be on her own and gave him her immortality preventing him dying. Her cousins however had intervened as she suspected they would the moment that they sensed he was in danger. Had she been at peace her scythe would have moved a lot faster and not even they would have prevented the true fate of the one they held an oath with. It made no little matter to her anyway, she had almost completely removed the arm that held his guild symbol. The symbol that gave him strength and hope he would never have to return home, that he would always be loved and safe... she almost took it from him.

The second strike she had done was aimed for his neck but Shindara had deflected it but she still managed to swipe across his eyes. She had not only taken his sight but the ability of those around him to tell if he was sick and just how badly, before leaving him crying and confused at how his world could have went from bad, to good before returning to what it was. These actions would have never come around before and so weighed heavily on her, no matter how hard she tried to balance herself, how much she tried to find peace, how much she tried to justify her actions she just couldn't the only peace she found was she had put certain measures into place before all this happened. She had chosen her path to be by Cirven's side, with her family and would have to deal with the consequences of her actions come what may. She remembered the last thing that was told to her before she was once again separated from the ones she cared about most it would seem, that they would be in the northern desert in three days if she wasn't there they would take that as her answer of who she had chosen.

The thing was she knew even though here she sat on the edge of a building looking over the sand dunes, when the others came she would still be made to voice her decision and tell them if she done anything. Even if that didn't happen she knew she would be expected to allow Cirven into her mind to see she was indeed telling the truth, the thing that hurt her was that she knew he would laugh at the pain she had caused the youth they both once tried to protect from the worlds evils as he tried to adapt to the world around him. She was starting to honestly think putting him back within home would be the lesser of two evils, at least Ruvel understood that world and his place within it, there were no surprises. You done what you were told to do and it hurt less, it was as simple as that.

Black lightning flew through the skies above the desert area of Fiore, zipping side to side as if looking for something. It flew downwards upon finding a ruined building with the pale woman sitting on top of it. It stopped just before hitting the top of the building and dispersed a bit before forming altogether into the form of the Devil Jester himself. A grin was over his face as usual as he looked towards the woman. "You sure got here fast. I'm guessing that meeting went just great. I half expected to not see you here and to see you next to him again. I actually would have loved to see that. Would have been fun to break you in front of him but either way I am fine with working with what options I have." He spoke out to her as he approached her. He could tell by the atmosphere around her that she was not in the greatest of places mentally after doing what she did but he did not care. She was ordered to choose before he did after all and knew the consequences if she did not choose. She had run out completely of time that her terms really gave her because Cirven was only following them like they were some sort of game for him. A challenge of sorts really. He had to really think while the terms were up for how he could manipulate her and affect Ruvel all at the same time. It was a fun game but it was one that he was growing tired of which was shown in him forcing her to make a decision between them. "Choosing the one you love over the one you see as a sibling. It is pretty romantic isn't it?" He sat down next to her and had tears in his eyes for her but she would know he could easily fake those.

"I want every juicy little bit and piece of the experience. Through and through. I don't want you to just tell me what happened but I want to see your memory of it all happening. This is an order, by the way." He childishly sang the last part of his sentence and waited for her to speak up about what had happened as he scanned her mind on it. He saw what she saw as she waited on the island for him. He could tell that she was nervous about what was about to happen but could feel she knew what she had to do. It took a little bit of time for Ruvel to show up but everything would start to kick off when he finally did. "A suspense builder, huh? Wish I brought popcorn for this." He spoke out as he watched the memory as she explained it. Their conversation sounded as if she would crack and give into Ruvel over him but then it happened. She took her own weapon and attacked Ruvel, hurting him badly while also blinding him. He had only barely survived her attack and she escaped before having to deal with his cousins.

A wide surprised smile came onto Cirven's face and he broke out into a sinister laughter before speaking on what happened. "It's perfect.." His voice was broken up from laughing and tears came down his face showing that multiple emotions were happening at the same time. "I..I only wish I was there to see it myself in person. You did exactly what I wanted you to do even without me telling you!" He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her still chuckling from seeing what happened. "You let that side of you that I fell in love with back out. That ruthless and merciless side that only does what she feels she has to." He spoke more as they hugged but released the hug and moved himself off of her. "You are starting to see it, aren't you? You aren't blind to it anymore, right?" His tears had stopped but the look on his face was still crazed and would put most people in an awkward feeling. "No. I can tell in your eyes and through how you are now that you are still in the shade with things but do not worry. I will change that, even if you fight against it. I will make you like the rest of your family, Demiari!" He put his hand on her cheek like she would do him. "Just know, this might hurt a bit... Wait... I mean a lot!" He let out a laugh as she would feel herself seemingly sucked away from their reality and brought to the place her and Ruvel would first meet. She would be younger again and be placed in an area where all she could do was watch Ruvel, Cirven and the others in family be tortured by masked people on the other side of a pane of glass that she could not get through.

Returning To The Fold Empty Re: Returning To The Fold

Post by Yuiisai 18th April 2019, 9:25 am

Demi could feel the change of energy in the area around her, it could only mean one thing, he was searching to see if she was here. She had half expected him to believe that she would have returned to Ruvel's side, betraying him and their family yet again in their eyes though no betrayal ever happened in the first place. Every time she had left their sides it was because of the actions of another and yet she was being treated like a pariah by the people she was so closely bonded to, in honesty if roles had been reversed she guessed she would have acted the same way but given she wasn't in their shoes there was no way she could say for certain one way or the other. Her eyes moved to look behind her when he dispersed into looking how he normally would, that insane grin spread widely over his face. How she hated that grin so much and wanted to knock it right off his face given everything he had just put her through, then again she knew if she even attempted she would have to deal with the other five members of their family and would lose everything. What she had just put the other she had once cared for through would have been in vain so just remained where she was unmoving.

Her eyes closed as she heard his first words "You gave me a deadline that ended hours ago, so it is more likely you are late than it is I got here quickly Trase. Did you get lost or forget where you said the rendezvous would take place had I decided to come to my senses?" she said her voice unfaltering as she spoke to him on the matter of her being there so soon. "The meeting as you call it was one I could have done without in all honesty, it was one that still needed to happen though I guess..." her head turned away from him her voice lowering it was clear at that point something had happened and it really wasn't sitting well with the albino woman, she was ashamed of the actions she had taken as she knew even if she had warned him what she was going to do he still wouldn't have lifted a weapon to her or even tried to defend himself. This hurt her more than anything else, she could have lived with it easier had she known it was only because he was caught off guard, but he was a spirit that wanted to fix things by words not violence even when it was the only way.

She opened her eyes and turned to look at him from her sitting position hearing his next set of words, for a brief few moments she couldn't voice the words she was thinking until all of a sudden "It's definitely something but I'm not thinking romantic. The first words that come to my head are cruel, deranged, insensitive and evil." she said before looking forward once again as he sat next to her "Save those 'tears' for someone who'll believe them Trase, we both know they're as fake as anything else in the mortal coil." her words were jaded as she spoke, it wasn't a tone she normally used but she really wasn't in the mood to sugar coat things, especially to him "He didn't deserve what I done to him Trase, he's had a hard life as it is and we've made it that much worse coming into it just to leave him as we did." she was under no disillusion that they were both monsters in their own rights and worked for a time to go against what was expected of them had they got the chance; just now it seemed the man she loved had turned into the one thing he never wanted to become, that he gave into his madness and so abandoned the boy he took under his wing.

She was about to open her mouth to say he couldn't be serious about the order he had just given her, problem was she knew fine well he wasn't joking. She hadn't that long went through the damned ordeal physically and now he wanted a damned retelling and to watch it as if it was some panto? She had to wonder if he really did hate her and his adoptive little brother that much, None the less she knew she had to do as was ordered and so lowered her mental guards so he could see the memories that had transpired only a few hours before. "Even though I had been given three days it wasn't until today when the deadline was almost upon me that I had decided to go to Tolgalen, I still hadn't made my decision at that point. In honesty I hadn't expected to see him while I was there but he seemed fate wanted up to meet. I told him about my dress being damaged and he told me that Oykai had taken it to be mended, that he had even made spares that would mend themselves..." she said her voice was soft filled with a type of longing not normally heard from her but she steeled herself shaking her head allowing her snow white hair to dance around her as she was trying to get such notions out of her mind.

"I wanted to speak to him as we were, nothing hidden. It's not like either of us were comfortable with that one to be perfectly honest." she said knowing just how insecure she was given her eyes weren't exactly normal but unless you know about race it would have been something that would have went right over your head, Ruvel's on the other hand was something you couldn't miss even if you tried to, he glowed and was covered in the abuses he had taken over the years. "We spoke over a few things but the sun had set over the horizon of Tolgalen which meant my decision had to be made. I couldn't wait any longer and you've never been known to give extensions on deadlines..." she said her hands gripping her dress for a moment "He started to cry as I explained that, that conversation would be the last we would have in such a manner... that he could no longer touch my skin because it would kill him..." she paused the pain was written on her face as she walked through the memory herself. "I wanted to comfort him, I really did but I pulled my hand back at the last moment... I had made my decision and couldn't change it..." she said her eyes opening and a breeze went past them, unlike before there were no tears welling in her eyes. "I then stared calling him what they did at home, I started calling him Rothe which in translation means slave... he didn't understand... how could he?" she explained to the one next to her.

"To get him to understand I summoned my scythe and attacked him, I almost took off his left arm so he would be removed from the symbol that brought him hope and strength but my cousin Amuul stopped me from going all the way. I slashed with the intent of killing him but my cousin Shindara prevented that, he however deflected wrongly I think and my scythe's tip cut across his eyes..." she looked to the darkened sky "I've blinded him, the additional downside to this is his eyes can't be used to determine his health any longer he will have to tell them when he doesn't feel well and just how bad." she said knowing that Ruvel was never really forthcoming about any information especially that information made this situation dangerous for the youth.

She gave her full attention once again to him as she placed her minds protections back into place, she hated when people where in her head. What really got her was when he burst out into laughter like a loon after seeing and hearing what went on "How can you laugh at his pain? For over a year you looked after him and taught him like a sibling would." she really couldn't comprehend it as much as she tried to. It was then when she looked at his face it wasn't just joy she seen, she also seen some hurt shrouded amongst it, part of him really never wanted this but that part was no longer the part that lived in the open. The two sides had flipped and now the jester was out of his cage she doubted he would ever want to go back into his box.

Demi sighed for a moment "I done what I needed to..." she said calmly though it oddly seemed void of emotion "I done what was best for me" she continued her head turned towards him once more as she moved a few stray strands of hair behind her ear "I done if of my own free will not because someone expected me to do it, it is that simple." with that she went quiet, she was through being a puppet and she was no longer anyone's pawn including his. It was true she did find doubt in what she did and it likely would never sit well with her but it was now part of her past and it was something that would never be undone. She was however caught of guard as he hugged her, the last time that happened was when they had been kids before the real training began. She couldn't deny that she had missed his touch after being without it for so long but still she needed to air on the side of caution. "I wasn't ruthless nor was I merciless, I felt true pain for what I done to him. I aimed to kill him believing it would be kinder for him than living in the world we are in now, he's to gentle for it." she said telling him everything honestly "To be honest at this point I think sending him back to home would be kinder than living in this world, at least he understood his place and what was expected of him... this world is completely alien to him." she continued the two of them would know this was the truth in all things when it came to the child they both once treasured.

She kept her blood ruby eyes on him as she finished the embrace and moved a little away from her, she listened to his words and blinked in confusion "I was never blinded Trase, it isn't in my nature you know this." If nothing else that was true, she was extremely analytical when it came to tasks she was given, making sure she had as much information as possible before even beginning to act upon it. This made her go over the date of the deadline on rare occasions due to unforeseen circumstances she had to take into consideration. They attempted to punish her once for it to which she prevented them doing so by saying that they could either be patient and let her get it done right the first time or she could keep to their stupid deadlines and the work would be shoddy. She then added that if that was the case they could stop wasting her time and use one of the lesser units as their work would likely be more to their liking. "And that side of me has never been locked up, I just have little reason to show that kind of darkness." her eyes once again went to the moon as she smiled softly enjoying the feeling its light on her skin "The days of devils and gods will eventually come to an end and you know out of the seven of us I was never how the rest of you were..." she bit her bottom lip a little "I don't understand why I never was as much as I tried to be..." she sighed once more looking to  the ground below the building a few people walking past laughing happily "To be like you all I had to compartmentalise and put this part of me in a room asleep for a while." she confessed to him, it wasn't like she hadn't tried to be the same in the past it was just she needed to take additional steps to do it because the conditioning wasn't working fully on her as it did the rest of them and part of that made her ashamed.

She was glad to see his tears had finally stopped falling because fake or not it still hurt her on some level, she couldn't bare seeing anyone within their family crying, especially not him. She was use to the crazy within him, he got like it quite often when they were kids if he had been pushed to far during their training. It didn't affect her the way it would most, even some within their family were put off by him when he was like this, she just started sparring with him until he was back to his normal self... well as back to normal as he or any of them could be she guessed giving their upbringing. "Within the shade? Trase what are you talking about?" She was confused by his words, her soft blood ruby eyes almost glowing in the light of the moon, she was concerned and frightened not for herself on this occasion but for him. It was times like these it reminded her how they all tried their bests to gain their carers affection, an affection that never came unless it was to manipulate them. She knew their was more to it but he seemed so innocent, like a child that wanted to show off a drawing to someone they cared for.

Again he would speak in telling her she still didn't see like them, that she was unable to see the light like they could because she was still in her own darkness. He still seemed pure in how he wanted her to see, almost like he needed her to see clearly, that if he couldn't get her to that he would have failed in some sort of task he had been given. All she could do is watch unable to say a single word to help him like she once had, she had to wonder if she had really been that out of touch with them that she couldn't tell him it didn't matter if within the light or the shade they could and would always be together. That no matter what family stuck together through thick and thin regardless of their differences. Then it came, the one sentence she dreaded as a child, a sentence she never in her wildest imagination would have ever thought would ever come from one of them. That he would help her even if she didn't want it, as much as she feared what this would entail she made no effort in trying to pull away from him. Her eyes went wide as she suddenly felt a warmth on her cheek, she moved to raise her own hand and felt his sitting there gently as if trying to comfort her knowing what was to come.

She kept her hand on his for a short moment, it was when she was about to take her hand away that he done something unexpected that made her pause in her action. It was something that he had only ever done once before. He said her first name fully, even when under Cor Torva's shoe and within the company he had only ever called her by her designation or by Demi. Her hand moved to be on his fully once more as she moved to lace her fingers within his, no matter what was to come she would face it at best she would be with him and the others and at worse she would be going through a new life cycle. Still she said nothing and it wasn't because she hadn't been trying because she had. She had no idea what the hell was going on with herself right now and that actually scared her more than anything she had went through in this life cycle so far. It was then he laughed and broke the silence that had been there with them that night, he told her that what she was going to go through was likely going to hurt a bit, then after a few seconds pause he corrected himself telling her it was actually going to hurt her a lot. She had no idea what the hell he was talking about, it just seemed like she was going to be put through another of his wacky tests but how wrong she was as her eyes darted from side to side as the world around her seemed to phase out of existence and she was back... back at home almost six years ago...

At first she was confused and looked over herself, white ragged uniform if you could call it that marked with her apparent name and a code. She hated feeling like cattle the first time around she didn't want to feel it for a second time that was for damned sure. "Trase this isn't funny, stop it... end the illusion!" she called out but was given no response to her call, she then looked around the room she was in, it almost seemed like on of the viewing rooms but it was far different. There were no doors, the room had very little light in it, three of the four walls were white, the fourth was made of glass and the little light the room she was in came from the other side of the glass. It was then she seen the men who acted like the will and voice of those who reigned upon high within the facility she only knew as home, torturing her family and Ruvel. She looked to the ceiling as if expecting something to happen but nothing did "Trase, you all were never at home... I would have remembered if something like this transpired... they would have all been dead! Now stop this, let me come back to you!" at first she seemed annoyed, then angry but by the end of it she was almost begging him to make this stop as she covered her ears hearing them scream in pain as they were hurt. "Let me out Trase... please let me out..." she couldn't bare hearing them in agony even now after so many years had passed but here she was having to go through that pain yet again. They found out long ago thanks to much of what she had endured and because of what she was racially she didn't feel pain and could compartmentalise, that was until it came to the others of her group, they then realised the way to punish her was to punish them and make her watch every second of it. It was beyond cruel in her eyes but there was nothing she could do to stop it without making it worse.

Hearing a bone chilling scream her head turned towards the glass and before she knew it she had run towards it banging on it "Stop it! Leave them alone or gods help you you'll pay for it!" she yelled making the masked men laugh "Seems the sleeping princess has finally woke up." one of the men in a plain black uniform said. A person wearing a black uniform with golden embroidery was sitting in the room on a lavish red velvet chair, standing beside him was a man dressed in black with red embroidery like the rest of them their faces were covered. "Well she did sell out everyone else to get her comfortable life, she was sick of being treated like the rest of you so gave us how to hurt you the most." the man in black and red spoke, these people were only known as the will by those within the facility because they acted as the will and voice of the men in black and gold, they were beyond reproach by any and feared because of it. "I-I didn't! I-I wouldn't!" she cried hitting her hand so hard against the glass that her hand was now starting to bleed, glistening indigo tears falling down her cheeks the entire time she was watching the scene unfold unable to do anything to stop it.

"Trase! Please... I passed the tests, I chose to be with our family... with you.. this isn't needed.. please stop it..." she fell to her knees defeated in the silence that no reply came back to her to explain what was going on. She wondered what she had done to him to make him hate her that much that she would be forced to endure something like this. She felt eyes on her and looked up seeing those she cared for the most in the world begging her for help, but she felt so powerless right not she couldn't get through something so fragile as glass, how was she meant to help them if she couldn't even help herself? "I'm sorry..." she mouthed her almost black blooded hands going onto the glass, her eyes begging them to forgive her for not being strong enough, for not being their with them, for not going through that they had been this entire time. Her hands banged weakly, defeated on the glass "I didn't want to be separated from any of you, I never wanted it... but it's never been my decision to make..." she said her voice weak and shaking "When given the chance I came back, I made sure there was no way to go back to that other life..." she felt like she was going to be sick "A family is meant to stay with each other... it's when they're at their strongest..." her head lowered as her eyes closed the coolness of the glass soothed her forehead a but but that's when she heard it a blood curling scream.

Her head shot up as she seen Laniiar's body be thrown to the ground lifeless as it was nothing more than a piece of trash, her now dull, lifeless emerald green eyes looking up to her, the fear of knowing what was coming etched into her eyes and face. Demi had started to hyperventilate a bit, she couldn't compartmentalise this, she was use to seeing the deaths of people she was a reaper after all but this was far different, this was her family... A family she would do anything for and right now she was powerless to do anything to help them. She started to beat her hands against the wall once more her ink like blood becoming smeared more and more as she did so "Trase, you've made your point! Stop it! Please..." she begged again but like before no response came. The next to be killed was Ves who would be thrown upon the Laniiar's body like he was nothing, she felt pity for him as she knew he had foresight meaning he seen it coming twice. That was enough for her, she knew if she had any hope of saving those that were still alive she couldn't be weak, she couldn't feel sorry for herself or the predicaments they had found themselves in, they had been trained to deal with it and get through it no matter what happened. Her nails lengthened as she started to get back on her feet almost like she had been possessed by something her head was still lowered as her white hair covered her face a little "Enough.." she said in a cold tone making the man in the chair look over "I said enough! I'm not having it anymore. I won't allow you to hurt them any longer!" with that she started slashing at the glass her nails biting into it slowly eating through it.

She wasn't getting through it quick enough as she heard two more thumps near her feet, where there had been two bodies there was now four, Lanis and Nakiya had now been killed and that's when she really had had enough. Around her body black sparks of electricity started to go off as her nails redacted back to how they should have been as her hand extended out her scythe would answer her call. The normally ornate scythe had taken a darker turn as it was now covered in barbs and thorns that wrapped around her arm biting into her as if making an unholy pact with her, she really didn't care she would pay any price needed to get the bastards that had hurt her and those she cared for, her eyes normally gentle or stern were no longer like that they had turned completely black bar a red pupil with an indigo iris she was beyond pissed. This was a side that no one had ever seen, the part of her she did keep at bay, the part that she locked away for everyone's safety, the part of herself she never wanted to see the light of day and here she was giving herself completely to it. She could have told them to leave them alone, to stop hurting them but they had been told so many times to do that already and they plain ignored her so she wasn't going to waste her breath "Your times are up..." where the only words she spoke her voice so dark, so chilling that it would have been able to freeze any would be monster in their tracks, with that she swiped once with great ease at the glass and watched as it shattered, still it wasn't soon enough as Korvin was the next to pay the price for how soft she had previously been. Without missing a beat she moved so fast that she appeared in the middle of the would be torturers an after image left where she once had been standing, she moved the scythe around with deadly accuracy not caring who she hit. Their blood starting to go up the walls of the well lit white room.

She walked forward towards the sitting man and his will the people behind her slowly falling to pieces spilling carmine liquid over the floor. She cared for nothing right now, she had killed the other she had held so dearly for the last six years and didn't bat an eyelash, the veils that had covered the faces of those who done the harm were of her biological family, of the friends she had made in this life time and again it didn't phase her in the least. The only ones alive right now were her, Cirven and the two who now felt the edge of her hatred, so much so she coldly and accurately sliced in the most painful parts of their bodies but that would make their deaths that much slower as she went to work in cutting out organs and throwing them to the side listening to them beg for her mercy. It fell on deaf ears, soon enough however, she grew bored of the game she was playing and started to move her scythe in a deadly dance. She watched as they slowly became bite sized chunks of meat, bone and sinew the spray of their blood on her white uniform and skin finally giving her colour.

Once done she turned her gaze towards Cirven but didn't turn to face him "Death comes to us all someday, I am just one of the tools used to hasten that impending journey. Cross me and there is consequences, end of story." her voice still held the same tone as it did when she first called to her scythe, when she allowed this side of her to be seen. She seen that same twisted grin on his face that had always been there even after he took his own life, to her mind a family was meant to be together through thick and thin, life and death so he had done just that without hesitation she placed the blade of her scythe to her neck "Where my family goes I will follow without hesitation." with those last words she ripped the scythe's blade right across her neck and allowed everything to fade to black, soon enough however she heard that insane laughter that only Cirven had. After what she had just been put through by him she wanted to push him off the building. Still she raised her other hand cupping his cheek in it while keeping her fingers locked within the hand he had cupped on her cheek "Understood and accepted, I am where I belong nothing else matters." she whispered softly her eyes never moving from his own, she was once again at peace with everything, the turmoil that she had once felt didn't exist anymore and for that she was thankful.

Returning To The Fold Empty Re: Returning To The Fold

He knew what he had used on her was a spell that Cor Torva used on him and the others to put them into situations that would either break them or at least start the process of breaking that they each were lead down. He enjoyed what and who he had become and knew that she would too if she just let herself go instead of how she fought against it. They were meant to be monsters in a world full of sheep. They were not meant to become sheep themselves in his eyes. Upon using the spell on her, her body would go limp from how intense the spell was which forced him to catch her and lean her up against his own body as he waited for her to come out of the dream she was placed in. He could not see what she was experiencing or even know what was happening but what he could do was compare to the experience. All he could remember of his dream was that it placed him in a world where he found that everything he had ever done was worthless. Every person he had met and saw as a friend or more was either blind to this or was brought to be against him. It forced him to make decisions worse than the ones he had made now but it also gave birth to the Devil Jester taking full control of who he was.

After some time Demiari would start to stir and her eyes would open to see that she was laying on his thigh while he sat on the edge of the building. Everything she had seen and been through, even her finding herself in the same position as she was before she had gone into the dream, was not real. He knew her current situation would cause her to probably be startled in some way. "Was I right about the 'hurt' part? I'm sure it had to be like slamming your skull against a wall over and over with the thought that it would suddenly feel like a pillow if you kept doing it." He gave her a grin after he spoke and then proceeded to get up from the edge of the building after allowing to rise a bit. "We are late to the party now, you know? We need to catch up with the others so that we can get this little operation started and our recruitment going smoothly." He spoke and just after he did a portal would appear in front of him that he had summoned by telepathically talking to Korvin. He'd start to walk through it but before he did completely he'd speak out more. "I know you are not like me yet. You are too strong mentally for that to be the only thing to do it. It just means we need to push a bit harder, huh?" He laughed as he moved completely through the portal. It would stay open for her so that she could meet up with him.

He'd arrive at another part of the desert where the others stood near a large sand dune. Each either looked impatient or bored from the waiting but did not say anything when Cirven showed up. "Sorry. We had a bit of a intimate moment alone. She let me inside this time." He let out a cackle that triggered the rest to laugh or roll their eyes. After the laugh he would move closer to the sand dune. "You know how secret ares are, right? You just need that special key to get into them." As he finished speaking he grabbed one of the knives that he had on his person and used it to cut into his had to release the crimson life liquid that lurked inside his body. He placed his hand on the sand dune and almost instantly, it separated to show a pathway into what looked like a large city hidden underneath the sand. "Welcome to the city of Demons and Devils, Rakt Ratn ." He spoke out as he simply walked forward. The city was massive and was located under a magical shield that was masked as a sand ceiling. They could see through it and the sun could get through it but that was all. Only a mage with a great amount of power and the ability to sense exactly where they needed to hit could break through the barrier hiding the city. They would need to specialize in a very strong sensing magic to know where the city was and even then they could mistake it for a small creature under the sand seeing as the barrier made it seem like the magical presence the city had was just that.

Before they could make their way into the city through the entrance, multiple men with horns and rough, scaly dark blue skin blocked their path with their large halberds drawn towards them. "Who are you?" One of the guards beckoned them for an answer. Cirven scoffed at the halberds and laughed at the guards. "Did you forget who I am already, Hawels?" His voice caused the demon who spoke to look towards him with a serious glare. "You look like someone I know but you don't feel the same at all. It is as if something has come over you or you changed greatly..." The guard seemed to be questioning exactly what it was as he spoke. Cirven did not hesitate and quickly pulled out one of his knives again, causing Hawels to raise up his halberd to attack in retaliation but before he could he realized that Cirven dug the knife into his own flesh in his hand and ripped it out so that his blood flowed freely from the wound. "Check it." He spoke out holding a grin on his face for the entire event. The guards seemed on edge but Hawels moved his halberd under the blood that fell from Cirven's wound before it suddenly stopped. He moved the halberd back to himself and dabbed his finger into it before placing his finger into his mouth. His eyes widened as he tasted it and he dropped down to a knee in front of Cirven. "This sweet tasting blood is a sign of only one thing! Our Prince has returned! Each of you bow down to him now or be struck down!" Hawels called out to them causing the other guards to quickly drop to a single knee also. "Yes, I am home." His grin was stuck on his face as he spoke. "You can tell that I have gone through changes with who I am and I am ready to embrace who I am meant to become. Rise and take us to the High Elder. We will start the ceremony soon." Hawels rose from his kneeling position and nodded to Cirven along with the other guards. They then started to move forward into the city and escorted the group through it.

The city was around the size of most capital cities in the world. It had different districts just like those of a grander city and had a sort of sand village vibe with how it was laid out. It showed that they were more advanced than other cities in the area though and they were continually evolving with the other cities in the world rather than wasting away. They made their way through a trader area where multiple stands were set up selling goods from all around the city and the world showing that the people of the city did leave it from time to time for goods or other reasons. The city seemed fairly similar to every other large city in the world by the looks of it but there was one big difference between Rakt Ratn compared to other cities though; every person living there was a demon or devil of some sort. They had different colored skins, some had horns which was a sign they were stronger than others and separated the hornless from the devils who had horns. It would be something that Cirven never told the rest of the group about at all. He did not even mention this place being a things and only mentioned they would be recruiting more members when asked about the operation they were getting into.

It did not take too long for them to be brought to a large building that stood out for its architecture as if it were some sort of dome-like holy place. They were brought inside the building to find it seemed even bigger inside it where the dome top of it was completely hollow inside. Multiple male and female residents were throughout the building working on various things. Hawels and the rest of the guards would lead the group deeper into the building where they were brought to a large room with multiple pillow set ups for what seemed to be for people to kneel onto and a large chair that sat an older looking crimson skinned devil. "The Prince has returned! It is a very welcome surprise that you have come back here, my liege!"The Edler stepped out of his seat and bowed to Cirven. Cirven would walk towards the man and place his hand on his shoulder before speaking to him. "It is good to be back here, Raktin. You can rise up." The Elder Devil could be seen smiling from being given such respect as being touched by Cirven. "I have changed a lot since my last time being here and have come back to take my seat on the throne like I should have always done." He spoke as he looked over the large seat that Raktin had been sitting in. Raktin looked towards Cirven completely surprised and overtaken by emotion. "The Prince wants to finally take up the mantle of king!? Splendid! We did not think you wanted to do such a thing but I can feel you have found that yourself wanting to finally throw away that silly humanity you have always had as a part of you! That last time did not get rid of all of it but I promise you this time we will cleanse you of every piece of it!" Raktin's voice was pure and did not sound untrue in any way. "Yes, but before I do that I wanted to show off my power to those in the city. I wanted them to know that their soon to be king was not a push over and could handle himself much more than any other Devil that roamed this world." Raktin nodded to Cirven. "Yes sire! But how would you go about doing that?" A small chuckle escaped Cirven and he turned to Raktin. "You will be allowing myself and my entourage here to go into the purgatory dimension you created for the previous ruler and his army to be trapped in and we will slaughter them all!" A crazed look came over Cirven's face as he looked at Raktin. "Sir! We cannot do that! It took all you had last time to trap them inside of there! We cannot afford to lose our Prince, especially to a false King like Tutantamin!" Raktin tried to talk Cirven down but could feel the gaze of his Prince come over him and trap him. "I am not the same person as I was before, Raktin. Tutantamin is nothing compared to what I can do now and if I can't defeat him then I am not worthy of being called King! As the Royal Advisor, you will obey my command now! Open the gate to that realm now!" Everyone in the room could tell that Raktin was uneasy about doing it as it took him a short time to open the gate for them but Raktin knew his place as Royal Advisor. Next to the large chair a portal would open that lead into a realm of light purple skies and a sapphire landscape. "We will await your return, my liege!" Raktin would speak out and kneel with the others as Cirven would beckon the Detergers to go with him into the portal and into a new world.

"A world completely out of touch with the real world. A world made to keep a tyrannical ruler imprisoned for his actions during his rule along with his army of followers. This will be just loads of fun, won't it? I can't wait to see my blood relative again and have the best family reunion that we could ever have. I will have to make sure to give you each a piece of him to introduce you to when I am done with him!" Cirven laughed out loudly once he finished speaking. They were brought to a open area of the realm where there did not seem to be anything but them until the sound of foot steps could be heard around them. "A welcoming party? So soon? He must really miss me!"He spoke and let out another cackle before a spear was thrust towards his head that he dodged and quickly moved away from. The attack caused the invisibility spell used on the demons around them to drop and reveal that they were completely surrounded by them. Each having different crudely shaped weapons of a variety of colors. "Kill him! He is the one who placed us here!" The enemies all rushed towards them but before the group could retaliate in any way Cirven gave an order. "No one is to attack besides Reaper. If she is not able to show us what she really is supposed to become then we will all die here. Simple as that. Let's have some fun!" A large smile came over his face as his entire plan had been to do this since she did not come out the way he wanted earlier as a spear plunged through his chest from one of the attackers. She was forced to completely give herself over to her dark side or watch as they all died here because she did not do so.

Returning To The Fold Empty Re: Returning To The Fold

Post by Yuiisai 23rd April 2019, 6:05 pm

The albino woman had no idea what was going to happen to her or what was going on all she knew was the world around her was fading from her sight, as it did she felt her body go limp she tried to fight against it but she came to the realisation that no matter what she was going through what was to come. The entire time she was under the effect of the spell she had been whimpering, glistening purple tears rolling down her cheeks. He would hear her mumbling for it to stop, that she didn't want this, them to stop hurting those she loved, eventually it all stopped her hands clenching tightly a darkened aura enveloped her. Her clothing became more ragged as what seemed like barbed wire twisted around her legs and arms in her hand a twisted and barbed scythe appeared in it. This would be something the other had never seen of her "Your times are up..." her voice far darker than anything he would have heard, it was filled with cold, dark and killer intent, her compassion was gone. After a while the aura left her and she returned back to what was her normally looked like, the barbs vanishing as did the scythe as her eyes fluttered opened, she was a little confused her hand going to her head.

It was true she wanted to push him off the roof of the building but she didn't, she because he had helped her come to the realisation that she needed to do what was needed to protect those she cared most for. "I really hate you for doing that to me Trase, I don't need conditioning... I can keep up with you all." she said showing she had accepted her fate by his side the thing was that she had no idea at that point things were only about to get worse. "And pull that stunt again and I swear to all that is unholy I'll push you off the roof you clown." her words had been somewhat harsh but the tone didn't match it, her tone was warm more like what he would remember from when they had been kids. When he mentioned about how he had been correct about the hurt part she looked to him "I can only feel physical pain in one place you know this Trase..." her voice was gentle as she once again leaned against him her eyes closing for a moment "The pain I felt... what I seen... I never want to endure that.. I won't endure it... never again." she whispered loud enough so only the other could hear, she didn't want the moment to end but the moment that damned portal opened she knew that there was work to be done. "Damn it Korvin!" she scolded moving to stand up dusting her clothing off.

With a sigh she nodded "Understood Trase, doesn't mean I have to like it though." her head was still feeling sore and she had no idea why such a thing would have happened, she could only think that what had happened to her at his hand was the cause of it. "You gave me a headache you idiot." she said with an annoyed tone before walking through the portal and seen the others a smile on her face. "I made sure my path was resolute, I can not return to my former life even if I wanted to." she said with resolve, she hated how she done it but it was something she had decided to do because of the path she herself wanted. She eventually turned to look at Cirven remembering what he had said before they had went through the portal "Wait... Trase..." she said looking at him with a frown "My race... my cast are mentally strong for a damned reason you clown." she said with a frustrated sigh "You are really trying to break my mental defences? Why?" she really didn't understand, she had done everything he wanted and more "I've proven myself time and again my loyalty and strength but it never seems to be enough for you, you idiot." she slapped him upside the head as she walked beside him looking around the area. She recognised it from the memories that they had shared as children, she hadn't seen the outside before she had been fully trained so the others shared what they could remember.

Demi rolled her eyes at what he said she was starting to get use to his distasteful comments "It wouldn't be the first time you've wandered in my mind." she said in a matter of a fact way, in honesty she doubted it would be the last time either. She didn't mind him wandering in her mind, in truth it gave her some peace and knew in the past it gave him the same thing when he was in turmoil. "Well stop yapping and open the door..." she was starting to become impatient that was for sure she watched with fascination as the door to the demon hidden were seemingly open "You realise I could have just used the back door" she said with a shrug continuing to walk by him, she was glad to see the place he spoke to her about once or twice. The details that he had given here had been vague but she could live with that, it made her feel closer to him even if it had only been a little. She looked at Cirven as he spoke to the guards of the place, tilting her head. "That is disgusting..." she shuddered, she could never understand detecting family lines through tasting blood, but she just had to guess it was just the way his race done things.

"The clown was a prince... who knew" she said with a surprised tone but she just chuckled a little watching as the guards dropped to one knee, she could feel the glares given what she had said to Cirven "I've blinded one person today for a hell of a lot less that what you lot are doing, I have no qualms about taking yours, now if you value your sight I suggest you do as told." she said her voice cold, she was sick and tired of all this, previously she would have been somewhat polite or just bared with it but that was no longer going to happen. Her hand went to head as she winced "N-no... Oy.. Oykai... I.. I need support.." she whispered to her twin knowing there was something wrong and not liking what it could be, a darkened aura starting to kiss her skin it was clear she was fighting against it, her eyes going to Cirven for a moment she dashed forward in an attempt to grab his neck her eyes showing an inner anger, she wanted answers.

Guards had tried to intercept her but just got kicked through walls as if they were nothing but ants under her shoe, if she succeeded she would almost push him through a wall "TRASE WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO ME?!" It had the rest of their group look between them, the wanted to intervene but they had never seen her act in such a manner before, the energy she was giving off was chilling to them, it was pure killer intent. The guards who hadn't managed to get involved yet had their weapons trained on her "I wouldn't suggest attacking her right now..." Lanis said his voice was calm but the rest of the group would know he held a nervous undertone "Well not if you value your life." Korvin added her tone was worried herself, before to long the aura ebbed and her grip released as she slumped to the floor her hands digging into the sand as she breathed heavily her body noticeably shaking "Th-thanks Oykai..." she said her voice trembling her eyes closed, she knew something happened to her door and it needed to get fixed and quickly. The guards started to close in upon her but Laniiar had already had her bow drawn "One more step I make you pin cushions." she said her tone showing should wouldn't hesitate if one of her own was in danger.

"It's fine.. just a lapse..." she said standing once more her hands letting go of the sand as she dusted herself off once more "Let's get going before I act out again." she smiled nervously looking to Cirven, she really didn't want to be told to leave but given what just happened, it wasn't like her in any way, she was starting to wonder if what he had done broke the defences of the door. Her eyes went wide after a second "Trase, while I was trapped in whatever you done to me... what happened to my body?" her voice showed that she needed to know, she was worried she never wanted that side out, not after what it had done on several of her jobs for Cor Torva. She knew that each of their jobs were checked on a day or two after the fact when it was a larger task they were doing. What they found made them sick, it was a bloodbath, it seemed like an army had made it way through and took out every life regardless of age or innocence in the most painful ways imaginable. They never believed that she was the one who caused such carnage as she had been the one so resilient to all their conditioning. The task had been done regardless and so she wasn't punished but they did keep a closer eye on her missions from that point on and found similar patterns at a few of her missions, it was something that frightened them but they wanted to release and mould it but nothing they done managed to get it to come forward.

They continued towards their destination the guards still on guard with her given what had just happened but she gave little mind to them, if Cirven had wanted her head it would have been gone and she knew it but she was still moving so it seemed as if he was fine with what had happened at least for now. "That so called silly humanity he had saved a lot of people..." she commented hearing the conversation she thought back to how different Ruvel once was to when she had remet him. She shook her head trying to get that train of thought out of her head, it wasn't something she could afford to dwell on now. It seemed like the conversation between Cirven and the elderly adviser had continued as she got lost within her own mind as when she looked up she seen a portal that wasn't there before and moved towards it with the others without hesitation. She already had a bad feeling about what might happen but that was something to deal with when it happened.

Once on the other side her eyes went over the indigo skies and sapphire landscape, she felt like she had eaten something she hadn't as the colour choice seemed like something that was a side effect from some of the experiments she had been through in the past. "Should have a word with the decorator." she commented putting her hands behind her back clasping them, her voice seemingly bored at the moment. "I hate family reunions, they always seem to get messy..." she said sighing "And yes, even our family union has been messy because of you all thinking I'd do what I didn't do!" She knew she likely sounded like a broken record about this point by now but she wasn't sure it was sinking into any of their thick heads, even though she had done everything needed she was still the outsider, the black sheep within her family and it hurt her worse than any experiment or punishment in the past could have. It was then it seemed that they had some unwanted guest, or was it that they where the unwanted guests, at the end of the day it didn't matter because they were likely going to die anyway. "As if this day couldn't get any worse. Trase, just how many people want to kill you? I might just do it and save myself the hassle in the long run." she commented the group would know she wouldn't act on such a thing, it was just something she said at times when she was getting overly annoyed and wanted it to stop at that point.

Seeing the illusion drop she and the others were ready to strike that was until the order came and she groaned, she hated that she was yet again being tested. She was about to get attacked and raised her hand her index finger going up as if to tell them to give her a moment, it caught the demon off guard as she was turned towards Cirven "This is the last damn test Trase or you may as well end my existence because I am not a damned pawn to anyone! Especially not to you! Not anymore!" it was clear she was angry and it was understandable given everything she had gone through of late. It was then she heard his words, if she didn't fight at her full potential then they would all die, she had a flash back to what happened when she was passed out her hand going to her head "I refuse to allow that fate!" her voice darkening as the black aura started to lick her skin once more her hand going out as her hair turned half black where the other half remained white, her dress turning a pale grey almost white but ragged, over her arms, legs and neck in her left hand her scythe appeared but it wasn't ornate, it was black, jagged the blade of the scythe itself was longer, the barbs connecting it to her hand. There was no way for the scythe to move from her hand, he hand raised and what was seen was pure black eyes with a red pupil and purple iris. "Make your peace..." her voice was void of emotion but still held a darkness like none had ever heard, her intentions were written over her body "Don't hold back because if you do this won't be any fun now will it..." a dark smile was on her face causing the guards to pull back a little, they weren't to sure what had happened but they were now beyond cautious because of her appearance alone. "Aww, you don't want to come here and play? Fine, I'll come to you... I have a very special game I like to play with people." she said starting to move forward, where she stood she left footprints of bloods in her wake "I promise this will hurt you... a lot... and a hell of a lot more than it'll hurt me." her voice showing that this was a promise as she dashed forward scythe swinging in a delicately, elegant dance of death as she started going to work cutting down guards as if they were nothing. The deadly efficiency cut all the most vital points to cause the most pain but not kill, not yet, she continued slowly skinning three of them as she continued the world around her wasn't there it was her and the ones she intended on killing. She was quite happy to continue this way.

Returning To The Fold Empty Re: Returning To The Fold

Post by Cirven 24th April 2019, 5:53 pm

Everything that had happened up to the moment he revealed his orders for everyone to not fight but Demiari was exactly what the devil wanted to happen. Her earlier loss of control and change in mannerism was perfect to him. He wanted he to lose herself to her darker side that he knew she had. He had gone over information Cor Torva had on everyone in their ranks and hers were surprisingly vague. Missions she went on alone ended up in there being quick slaughters of her targets and others around them causing him to know that she was hiding something else inside. Something else that was similar to him and his way of doing things. Something that he wanted out for the world to see and fear. A true reaper of life. He could barely control himself from losing his sanity in laughter when he initiated the order for the others to not fight and to die if she did not save them. It was a perfect plan to force out what she was hiding inside and it did not let him down. If the others could hear it they would hear that it was as if Cirven's heart had stopped upon hearing and seeing the change that came over their Demiari. She took on a much darker appearance and rejected the fate of them dying before laying waste to the enemy around them. In her attack on the enemy she even managed to get the demon who had stabbed him, pulling the man away with the blade out of his chest. It might have always been his tolerance to pain but his sanity was also a factor when it came to how he dealt with being hurt and this was one of those times where his sanity went off the deep end. He broke down into laughter upon seeing what he had brought out. "Yes! Kill them all! Show them that we are not to be trifled with! Show them that their lives are meant to be used as our stepping stones as they come to an end!" He spoke out and then continued to laugh as the others and himself watched her play her little game with the enemy, showing them true pain.

"Now wasn't that just fun, Demiari? Don't you want to let that side of you out more so you can enjoy things?" He spoke to her from behind after she had finished with her torturing the demons. He enjoyed this side of her that he had not seen. "I just think it isn't fair seeing as you hadn't shown me this side of you before, especially as you have seen that side of me before..." He did not laugh like he usually would and instead just grinned at her silently. He did not know how she would respond to him but was not given the time to find out as a deep voice called out to him. "MIZUNE!" The voice yelled out and they were surrounded again by enemies but the environment around them also changed like they were all pulled through a massive portal and into a small town of sorts. They were brought in front of a large throne where a horned devil sat staring at them.

Cirven let out a chuckle and then waved towards the male devil who sat on the throne. "It has been awhile, Tutan! It looks like you have made this place a lot more homely, you can guess my meaning with that, right?" He shot Tutantamin a grin which caused him to rise out of his throne and swipe his hand out towards Cirven. "I will kill you for your insolence and trapping me here!!" Cirven's face quickly turned to fear as he felt the grip on some sort of invisible grasp come over him. "Stipulation. Ripped open." Tutantamin spoke out causing Cirven to gasp out as and grab at his stomach before it was swiftly ripped open like a pinata and he fell to the ground motionless. "That clown will be left to die there just like that. My magic is the ultimate order magic! Lay there and die you, hornless Prince!" Tutantamin yelled out and then started to laugh himself at his own work. It was obvious that his magic was on another level when it came to power and what he could do with it. "Brother!?" Lanis called out and ran to help his brother but this only caused him to be another target for Tutantamin. "Stipulation. Broken." His words rang out and with it Lanis fell to the ground in agony from what seemed like most of his bones had broken. "I will not allow you to comfort that hornless trash but I will allow each of you to suffer with him!" Tutantamin looked towards the rest of the group and put his hand out towards them. "Stipulation. Dimensional Suffocation." His words spawned a box-like area around the rest of the group that slowly drained them of all the air they would be able to breathe while trapping them inside of it. It was not something that would break easily which would force them to get a bit more creative in their approach against the ex-King of Devils.

Returning To The Fold Empty Re: Returning To The Fold

Post by Yuiisai 27th April 2019, 5:02 am

Demi hated the fact that she had been put into a situation were she had to release that side of her, but for her families safety she would do everything and anything needed, even to her own discomfort or fear. It was true she was scared of this side of herself, it wasn't due to the damage it could do but the fact she may start to enjoy its madness. She relied quite a bit on her twin brother to keep it in check, she knew he had given up part of himself so that the seals on their doors, the seals that keep their beasts in slumber. She now knew what his plan was and that meant she had to be careful if her mental barriers weakened, if they wavered in any way she would fall to its madness as he wished, something that she wasn't yet fully ready for. When she took on this form it didn't just take a mental toll on her but a physical one also, when she was a child in the care of Cor Torva and ended up in this state, they had found that she would remain in a comatose state for three days in which she wouldn't wake no matter what happened around her. She really couldn't remember if she was aware of what was going on around her but she knew that she was always missing three days as her body recovered from the strain it went under, when asked what happened she could only reply that she didn't remember which was no lie.

She turned her eyes towards the rest of her family for a moment her eyes showing no emotion towards them, it was almost like she didn't recognise them causing them to take a step backwards from her, in truth they were nervous as they had never seen her in such a state "Cirven, is it safe to be around her right now?" Laniiar asked she had been the only one to hold her ground but that was due to her being slightly away from everyone else due to how she used her skills. "I don't hurt my family even if they deserve it for being ignorant, if I did you'd already be dead." She replied with a twisted smile on her face as she chuckled as she twirled and twisted in a seemingly beautiful dance from her scythe plum blossoms could be seen coming fourth the only thing was they seemed to be splattered with blood. As her seemingly entrancing and enigmatic dance continued the blossoms followed her motions moving around her but cut through the demons that came close to her a giggle of happiness escaping her lips as she was sprayed in their blood, it was this was nothing more than a game to her. It had the others of the group look nervous seeing the one that was normally the calmest when doing a mission seemed to have swiftly changed for some reason they couldn't explain. "What's going on with her?" Ves finally asked looking at Cirven knowing that the only person who could answer such a question. "Are we sure she's even safe to be around her at current?" he added to his first question.

Demi continued her fatal dance of death her eyes looking at Cirven "Trase, will you shut up for once you clown." she said coldly one of her petals cutting his cheek if he wasn't fast enough "They're dying on my whim not yours." her voice clear that she was refusing to take his orders right now, to her they were equals, she refused to be his subordinate like the others seemed so content to be. "And I don't need you to tell me how to have my job." she said with an cold yet annoyed tone, it was when she took the last enemy down she heard Cirven's last name be yelled out making her looking over her shoulder the blood splattered blossoms by her feet as she seen what looked like an older demon, she could sense his power was far greater than the ants that her blossoms had taken care of not so long ago "Seems you have been summoned Trase, should I be taking care of this one too or are you wanting that honour due to him being family?" she said with a bored tone, her fun was over and done with so she didn't care one way or another but part of her knew there was no way that Cirven was going to be able to take him out so easily regardless.

Hearing his question she sighed placing the blade of her scythe on the ground "Fun? Yes... It was." she said but she could also already feel herself tiring, she wasn't use to being in this side of herself, she couldn't help roll her eyes at his statement "Trase, this isn't tit for tat you know...." she said leaning on her scythe a little, this wouldn't be abnormal as she done it quite frequently in her normal state, there was more reasons this side wasn't shown in 'polite' company but kept that information to herself. "I will keep it in mind however that you like this side of me" she said showing she had some control of allowing to see the light of day but that was neither here or there in her opinion. She couldn't help but groan as she seen them being surrounded once more "Trase, how many people did you trap here? I'm starting to think I should have got a bigger pouch for these souls." she said rubbing her temple with her free hand as the other was bound to her scythe due to the barbs.

She again twisted the blossoms by her feet seemingly following her movements starting to slice through some more of the lesser demons like a hot knife through butter. "You lot better stay out of this, you want me to prove my worth... fine... but if you interfere then I end you... it is that simple." she told the rest of her family the look in her eyes and the tone of her voice showing she wasn't joking, it would be clear to them why she stood on par with Cirven within Cor Torva even if she wasn't completely like them yet. "Understood." they stated in unison. The albino woman was through playing nice even with the members of her family, the ones she had forsaken everything she was to protect, she honestly didn't care about their well being right now their attitude towards her since their reunion had gotten her goat and now she was willing to send it right back to them without an ounce of remorse. She quietly watched what happened next tilting her head as she watched the magic the horned demon used "Interesting magic you have there." she said sounding impressed as she continued leaning on her scythe "How did you get trapped in here if you are this strong?" she asked scratching her head her voice showing confusion, the members of family blinking unable to believe that she was so calmly talking with the enemy like she was on their side.

Demi looked between Cirven and Lanis "Perhaps, I'm on the wrong side... who knew?" she said calmly, she knew she had pulled a lot of strings to be the one that would be the one who would claim her family when the time came for their passing, but that came with a few stipulations of its own "Wraith are you out of your mind?" Laniiar called out to her making the woman shake her head "Trase said it himself, only the strong survive and if he lets that affect him then he shouldn't be breathing." she said with a shrug as she walked forward. Demi looked around her as she and the others were trapped inside the dimensional barrier, she watched as everyone but herself and Korvin seemingly found it hard to breath "Told you being our race came with some upsides." she said walking to the edge of the barrier tapping it a few times watching as sparks flew off it "Impressive, I could break it but the others would need to be claimed by the time I did..." she groaned but then laughed "Perhaps you aren't as smart as I thought you were." she said turning and looking to Korvin "Open a portal to the other side." she ordered watching as the woman done as she was asked "I'll let you deal with them and I'll deal with him." she said walking through the portal and towards Cirven.

"Using stipulations isn't an order magic, it is basically using loopholes within a contract." she said turning the scythe and hitting Cirven with the flat of it "Hay, stop playing dead you moron..." she said with a smirk laughing a bit making the horned demon growl at her "What are you laughing at!" he yelled at her "You can't use a stipulation on a stipulation..." she said turning to look at him "They each have a stipulation on their lives, they are mine to claim and if I refuse to claim them they can't die!" she yelled her hair turning completely white once more her scythe once more turning ornate "And the only one have the right to die against is me! Not someone as pathetic as you..." Her tone was cold, it held a darkness that not even Cirven would have expected from her as she looked like she normally did but she had the eyes of how she was previously, the only difference was black runes twisted around her form. Several of the demons rushed her, she clenched her hand a kodachi appeared in her hand, she rushed forward using her superior speed to dash between them the twists, turns and displays of acrobatics would be hard to follow but those within her family would be able to keep up.. barely.

She was tiring but she needed to continue for the sake of those she cared for, she right now cared little for her own life she just wanted the bastard demon dead. She turned to walk towards him her the energy she gave off could easily kill anyone who dared to get to near it. The elder demon winced but held his ground as Demi moved forward killer intent seen in her eyes, the time of fun was over that much was clear. "Now you will see why this part of me is kept locked away former king of demons, impostor to the throne." she said her face showed no emotion, her eyes showed no fear but it was clear as crystal that there was a calm anger under the surface. "Your soul will be a wonderful delicacy I will give to the one I love so your strength will add to his." she said a smile coming on her face "So I guess you will be a ruler or at least a shadow of one." she said taking the first swipe connecting across his chest, she didn't aim to kill on this hit she just wanted distance between him and the two injured people by her feet which was given as he jumped back "The rest of them are only your target if you can get past me and I'm no walk in the park." she said starting to walk after him slicing at the air but again it was to cause more distance 'Take care of Trase and Lanis, wipe out the rest of the demons.' she sent to the others knowing that they would follow her orders to the best of their ability "They've given in to their madness and insanity, threw away their humanity... I haven't nor will I ever do it willingly... taking these actions are strength in some instances but weaker than others." she said with a smile "Let me demonstrate..." she said a dark smile on her face "Stipulation: Ripped Open!" she proclaimed the lantern at the bottom of her scythe opened and what had happened around Cirven would happen to Tutan causing his eyes to widen in surprise as his own magic was used against him if he couldn't get away or null it "Trase is a devil like you..." she said dashing forward fading from sight but appearing from the sky behind him kicking him into the ground hard between this and the spell caused him to yell out in pain "but he is loved by one of death and she will protect him with every fibre of her being even if it means it will end her and everything she was to become everything he needs." she said bringing her foot down upon his neck, before the connection could be made he grabbed her foot causing her to jump back a little her eyes narrowed as she waited to see what the other had in store for her next. She just hoped Cirven would be fine sometime soon as this would go quicker with their abilities working together.

Post by Cirven 27th April 2019, 10:58 pm

Korvin had started to look over Lanis first before looking over Cirven. She knew that Cirven's ability to deal with pain as well as regenerate from pretty much all injuries was great enough that he could get through his current situation. She found she could not do much for Lanis who was trying to control himself from yelling out in pain but was not completely successful at it as the pain was too severe for him. She managed to get him moved into one of her pocket dimensions and away from the fight completely so that he was safe. After that she attempted to help Cirven but first wanted to check him and had to roll him over to do so which brought her face to face with the smiling Devil who had completely healed from his injury. "At least buy me dinner first, woman! I have standards!" He spoke out and then laughed and rolled on the ground before getting himself up still chuckling. "You each should stay out of this one unless you want to be an easy target. The reaper and I can handle this because of our abilities but you will probably just be in the way with how Tutan's magic works. Get everyone out of here for now, Korvin. We will be taking all the fun here." Korvin nodded as a twisted grin came over Cirven's face as he stared at Demiari fighting against the ex-Devil King. Korvin would quickly leave taking all of the others with her where she would wait for further orders. He enjoyed everything she could do and wanted to see more of it which was why he simply chose to avoid fighting for a short time and watch, even when she hit him with the bottom of her scythe while calling out that he was faking it. He knew Tutan would think that his magic was too strong for Cirven to just simply live through but he did not know that the prince had come a long way from the last time they fought.

"This is my magic! My curse! I control it! And you do not know how to even use it!" He yelled out as he shown that her use of his magic had no effects on him. "Do not worry though, for I will show you how it is done! Stipulation: Puncture Symphony!" He placed his hand out towards Demi as he spoke the words which would start to make her body feel as though she had blades pressing against all over her body. Just before the spell would finish a burst of dark energy would come out from no where over Cirven leaving his body completely covered in the dark energy with what looked to be a smile inside of it. Tutanamin would find that his spell had been stopped by something as he realized a reddish energy that had come around Demiari. "Why don't you die!?" He yelled out at the changed Cirven who let out a laugh that sounded distorted in some way as did his voice. "Do you remember how I trapped you in here last time, Tutan? I'd be surprised if you did." He continued speaking before Tutantamin could causing the older devil to grow angrier. "I took you out before you could do me by putting you in this place and trapping you here. Almost lost multiple limbs doing it with your stipulations but this time will not be the same." Tutantamin's face was a complete grimace of anger and showed the desire he had to kill Cirven. "You are right, hornless prince! It will be different because this time I will kill you! Stipulation: Explosion!" He spoke and placed his hand out towards Cirven causing a huge explosion suddenly went off around Cirven engulfing him in flames and debris from the nearby buildings being destroyed. "Die, you hornless failure! You will never be a king like I was! Not while I am still alive! NE-" Tutantamin was cut off from speaking as he realized that a sudden spike of magical energy near him. "Stipulation: Complete Guard!" He called out as he placed his hand pointed to his body causing a green tint of energy to swarm over his body but it shattered just as quick as it was formed from a reddish magical energy that quickly formed over it and broke through it causing his right arm to be caught in the attack and breaking it severely. He managed to quickly move away from the full attack but his arm had been ravaged to the point that it was limp next to his body. "What!? How!?" Tutantamin spoke out as a what sounded like a small explosion was set off near where Cirven had been. White flames burned the ground behind Tutantamin with Cirven standing in them. "You told me that I could not rule with you alive, right? So that means I kill you and make sure that my little reaper lover over there takes your soul so that you do not come back, at least any time soon. I'm sure I can just kill you again then though too." Cirven let out a laugh as his sudden talking caused Tutantamin to jump forward into a defensive stance. "Stipula-" He started to speak but before he could finish his words Cirven formed a blade of black lightning that had a reddish tint and quickly cut it outward at his enemy. Tutantamin would find that the bottom part of his jaw had been severed enough from his face that he had no control over it as it was left hanging off his head. He let out a roar from the pain and grabbed at his jaw which caused him to yell out more. He could not speak words well enough for them to be understood anymore. "A big problem with your magic is that you need to speak for it to work, right? It is a shame that it is so easy to defeat after it had such a strong showing, huh?" Cirven spoke and then using the same magic blade he had created he cut completely through Tutantamin's working arm. "I did that because I felt like it. Seemed like I should try and even you out a bit and continue this 'trashy' look you have." Cirven let out a laugh as Tutantamin gargled out in pain and shock. Tutantamin fell to the ground as he was barely able to move from all the pain he was in. His eyes were opened as wide as they could go from the shock and pain that he was in and it caused Cirven to not be able to help himself from laughing hysterically at him.

"I wonder if killing you would be even worth it now. Might be better to put you in some sort of circus to show to people what becomes of those who challenge a true Devil." He spoke as his laughing calmed down some. "It is also pretty funny to me that that amount of pain brought you down to a pile of shock and sadness." He used his own magicall constructed blade to cut through his own arm, then his own face and his own leg. He laughed the entire time while doing it as his body regenerated each injury back to normal. "See that? I can come back from injuries like yours and even worse." He spoke as his body regenerated. "Maybe you let your horns really go to your head, huh?" He let out a laugh before quickly using another spell to form a reddish energy around Tutantamin's head and caused it to break off roughly like he was some sort of discount toy. Tutantamin's body then started to deteriorate into magical energy which was a sign that Cirven's destruction magic had killed him. "You know, on second thought." The reddish energy formed above Tutantamin's body and slammed down onto it viciously causing the ground underneath it to dissolve into nnothingness along with the body. "I might not be able to see it but with that spell I know it will completely destroy you along with your soul. It seems pretty worthless anyways!" He let out another cackle and then broke into a full on laughter from the scene he had caused.

Returning To The Fold Empty Re: Returning To The Fold

Post by Yuiisai 28th April 2019, 6:38 pm

Demi had been dodging the strikes the horned demon had been swinging at her, it wasn't exactly like she was even making much effort to do it either, she had a smile on her face the entire time. "Almost had me that time." she said with a childish giggle before jumping to land on his head with one foot as she bent the other leg over the straight one "Nope, sorry... not that time either but I can see so far from up here..." she said bringing her scythe to her eye as if it was a hand "What a dump... suits you and those who follow you." she said her tone showing she was unimpressed before jumping down via back flip she moved her scythe in such a way she would make sure to take his right arm in a single swipe, when she landed she looked to her scythe blade and blinked "I didn't think you'd be as friendly as to give me a hand, but here you are..." she said chuckling a little moving her hand to take it from her blade she watched as it turned necrotic in her hand "Whoops, forgot that happened to things I touched..." she said using one of the petrified fingers to scratch her cheek a little as she had an innocent smile on her face almost as if it was indeed the truth.

She was just toying with this so called demon king who seemed to be getting more infuriated with every passing second, she held out his arm with a smile on her face "Sorry, you're more than likely looking for this." she said her voice sounding so innocent before she ended up giggling a little and shattering it within her grasp "Who am I kidding you won't be alive long enough to miss it." she said her tone continuing to sound somewhat amused as he managed to cut into her arm, the smile left her face as she looked to where she was injured "Careful you might actually hurt someone doing something like that." she said grabbing him by his wrist and clenching her hand a loud crack heard as she broke his wrist his hand going wide as he cried out due to the sudden pain, the albino woman might not have looked like much but she had been trained and enhanced in ways far superior than most warriors. "W-what are you?! Y-you aren't normal!" he yelled at her she could only give a frustrated sigh "I am something darker than you could ever hope to be little man." she said letting him go of his arm before kicking him back a few meters. Her eyes going to her clothing making her groan "I just got this fixed..." she complained her eyes turning to Cirven who she knew had been watching for several moments.

"Do you see this?!" she yelled out to him "This.. this is why we can't have nice things!" she said with a huffy voice as she pouted after a minute she grinned "I'll just take payment from your flesh..." she said turning her eyes back towards the horned demon as he continued to try and talk she brought up her scythe using it to deflect the damage sent her way. "You're right, I am not normal..." she said with a grin leaning forward "Helps having the clown over there as a training partner..." she had an almost crazed look in her eyes "I am a death goddess who has had a higher devil as a training partner all her life..." she said before tapping her bottom lip for a moment "We kept trying to kill each other, we actually managed it on several occasions come to think of it." she looked back to Cirven "How the hell are you still alive?" she asked turning her back to the horned devil as if he wasn't even there, then again to her he may as not have been. "I'm sure we killed each other at least two maybe three dozen times." she asked as she tried to figure it out before groaning "They really didn't want to lose us did the..." she said leaning on her scythe watching as he gave orders for the rest of the group to retreat and await further instructions as they'd just be a burden to the two.

While she was waiting for a reply it seemed like the horned demon had decided to come to his senses after she had turned his magic against him, he seemed to think that he had gotten the upper hand but he learned shortly afterwards that he was no match for the pair as though she felt a pressure upon her she didn't yell out in any pain or discomfort before Cirven put an end to it. Seeing the goings on she just moved to sit on her scythe allowing the show to unfold in front of her with a smile clapping her hands at the debris whizzing by her head "Oh look an armless horned imp... who'd have thought" she said laughing leaning back so much she almost fell off her scythe but managed to keep on her scythe just barely, it was when she sat up it seemed Cirven decided to have taken it upon himself to destroy their toy making her pout a little before yawning the barbs removing from her body as her eyes turned back to their normal blood ruby orbs as she jamp from her scythe as it vanished her dress changing to that of a black silk and red lace gothic dress that came just above the knees. "Trase, I need to rest..." she said her voice a little faint though she was holding her own "Three days..." she notified him knowing he would know at times when they had been in Cor Torva's care there had been times she wouldn't be seen for several days at a time.

In honesty she had no idea what the rest of them had been told about her absence as they knew she had been back from the job. It didn't matter however as he now knew the truth of what was locked behind the heavily barbed and runed door she would never allow him to get to close to when she allowed him to wander her mind. "Now you've seen the part of me I don't like the world to see, it's powerful but unpredictable and tires me as I am not use to it." she explained to the man she believed her lover but she had no idea if it was just her wishful thinking but they had always been close. Things were different now however so she no longer knew where she stood with him or the others for that matter. "We should get back, your regent will likely be worried about you." she said her right hand going to her left arm holding it, she wanted the answers to the questions she had asked earlier but at the moment she had little desire to argue or fight she knew within the next few hours she would need to rest wither she or anyone else wanted it or not. It worried her however as when she went into her mini hibernation she would be at the mercy of the world around her "I'll go to the void and rest, I should be safe there." she said calmly, she would see this through before doing it though, her hand going to her head as she felt dizzy once more "Lets get going" she said heading back to the place the portal had been that brought them here in the first place.

Returning To The Fold Empty Re: Returning To The Fold

Post by Cirven 1st May 2019, 1:03 pm

Cirven had a full grin plastered over his face as he watched the body of his enemy deteriorate into magical energy as it was destroyed completely by his magic. The sight of it excited him as he wondered if that was how everything would look if he destroyed it. His eyes trailed to the demons around him who looked to be filled with fear with how their leader had been quickly taken out of the picture. One of them understood what this meant for them and decided to take the first step towards this change as he dropped to his knee to show his allegiance to Cirven. "Yo-you are strong and because of that I will pledge my loyalty to you as the strongest! All of you do the same!" The demon yelled out and Cirven recognized him as the second in command that Tutantamin had. The rest listened to their orders and followed in kneeling to show their allegiance."Oh? This is a bit unexpected but makes sense at the same time. You all followed who was strongest as your leader after all. I needed an army anyways so this works out perfectly." He then quickly sent a message to Korvin in the form of a snapping sound in her mind that had her come out of a nearby portal. "Take our new army of demons and devils into one of your pocket dimensions. We will be taking them to the guild hall soon. I will call for you again in a few." Korvin nodded and summoned multiple portals around the army of demons and devils that they willing made their way into. Korvin made her way inside a portal herself after all of the demons and devils were gone.

"Now on to your little sleepy time request." He spoke out before turning completely to Demiari. "It is denied. You are to stay in that form and push yourself to master it just like I have mastered this one here." He danced around doing twists and turns to show her every part of his body and how the shadowy form looked. "In order for us to get you to be stronger in that form we will have to resort to some drastic means, just like old times." He knew she would understand what he meant but did not give her time to react as he used one of his more commonly used abilities to quickly shoot himself off from a blast of white flames towards Demiari. He used the propulsion in order to swipe one of his clawed hands at her, aiming for her chest or upper arm. Hit or miss he would travel to the opposite side of her while a full smile on his face. "Try not to die now. It would be pretty boring if you did, at least did so too early. I want to fully enjoy this with how long it has been since we have gotten in our little bit of alone time that you always loved, oh so much." He let out a short laugh before continuing. "Don't hold back either. I'd hate to tell your brother that you keeled over easier than he did when I kill him." Another laugh escaped from him after he spoke.

Returning To The Fold Empty Re: Returning To The Fold

Post by Yuiisai 1st May 2019, 4:32 pm

Demi covered her mouth yawning watching as the former king had been wiped out of existence "Pity... might have been a decent snack." she said with a sleepy tone, in honesty she really didn't care right now she just wanted to sleep. She leaned on her scythe part bored, part tired as she watched the energy disperse and the grin on Cirven's face, he had managed to do something that he was unable to do while he was younger, the only reason that she could come up with was the fact that he had hesitated but that wasn't like any of their group. They never hesitated regardless of the task or whom they were facing at the time, failure wasn't an option to them, they were the elite unit because there was no hesitation, they never failed so it made her wonder what had happened here. Was this the reason he was deemed a failure while the rest of them weren't? It would something she would eventually ask but right now she was to tired to even bother to deal with that, it was now dealt with and to her that was the end of it, more so as Cor Torva was all but gone. Her eyes went over the demons who now looked scared that they would be the next to pass on Cirven's hit list.

She could only shake her head to what happened next "You're an idiot" she said closing her eyes her arms folding over her chest "They turned on you once, what makes you really think they won't do the same again if they think they can?" she asked calmly to her they were nothing more than annoyances that would get in the way of whatever the hell they were doing these days but she wouldn't push the matter, she'd just kill them if they got in the way and that would keep her happy on some level. "I'm guessing you missed the 'lessons' on mutiny, hu Trase." she could only shake her head rolling her eyes knowing if he had made a mistake then it would be dealt with quickly, only issue she had on the matter was that it was additional work that could be nipped in the bud now. She watched as a portal opened knowing that an order had been given to Korvin who would listen without question, once again she covered her mouth yawning she had this funny feeling things weren't over given that Cirven's words about contacting again her shortly.

Once they were left alone she opened one of her eyes as he began to speak to her "Trase, I wasn't asking your permission on anything, I was telling you I need to rest so wouldn't be available for three days due to it." It was as simple as that as far as she was concerned standing up her other eye opening as she placed her hand on her scythe "My energy is drained in all aspect of the word, I require rest Trase, it isn't up for debate, I've never allowed that side of me out due to that and it scares me that I might enjoy committing genocide for fun." she explained knowing that would fall on deaf ears, they were trained to take out the filth of the world so that the new gods could rule the world but that had been abolished the moment that they turned on Cor Torva. It made her wonder why exactly they wanted to destroy the world now because she was pretty sure it wasn't for Ruvel's cast to take over, so she found no real need to kill everyone or everything on sight.

Hearing the last three words the other shoe just dropped, she knew that there was more to this but she didn't know just how much energy she had to fight him off, she wasn't kidding when she said that she needed to rest due to being drained. Swiping her scythe blade she easily caught the claw on the pole as the white flame was engulfed by the lantern at the base of it "FOR ALL THAT IS UNHOLY TRASE! I NEED REST!" she yelled at him, she had no issue fighting him but she had never tried it with how she currently was, it put her at a disadvantage and it meant that she would have to put in her everything to even stand a chance at remaining on equal footing with him. After a moment she swung the scythe pushing him away while trying to cut up his chest knowing that it would undoubtedly miss but she needed some space between the two of them at least while she got an answer to a few questions that were now buzzing around her head. "How long have you known about that side of me Trase and how did you find out?" she asked hoping that he would give her a straight answer for a change but she wouldn't hold her breath on the matter.

She shook her head to his words a smile on her own tired face "You've never been so lucky as to hurt me without me repaying the favour Trase, so I guarantee if I am dying so are you." she said her voice cold, she wasn't in the mood for fooling around, if she did she would run out of energy far to quickly and be at his mercy. It wasn't something she was particularly fond of right now as she was still trying to figure out where exactly she stood in all of this. She was not a subordinate like the others because she would challenge him and do things the others wouldn't dare of dreaming of doing such as trying to kill him. She began to run towards him however at the very last moment she quick stepped and would appear behind him, a kodachi made of shadow in her left hand as she dual wielded the blade and scythe together with a deadly accuracy. She chuckled a little to what he said about their alone time, it was true she had missed their bouts together it was a time they could just be them though they normally they also spoke via a link and wandered through each others minds this wouldn't be that type of fight. She had to prove to him that she was still the same person she was back then as much as she hated it, this time she was playing by his rules. 'The door is damaged but not broken, if I'm careful the compass won't be to damaged and both can mend as I rest' she thought to herself but she had to concentrate on ending this fight quickly because the longer it took her to rest the more chance there would be that both would break with no way of fixing either.

He easily managed to dodge her scythe's attack and let out a sigh. He knew that even she could do more in the condition she was in. He had seen it before and with how they both had grown older he expected more from her. Much more. "That tired, huh? It's funny how we have gotten older and it seems like I am the only one out of us who seems to have gotten stronger." He spoke with a sigh trailing behind his words. "Don't you worry though. I will make you stronger, one way or another." He sent a glare at her that was accompanied by a devilish grin. She managed to throw more questions at him before he could go on the attack again and it bothered him that she was trying to talk at a time when they should be pushing each other to be better; to be stronger. "Those demons and devils will not be fully trusted really. They will be used as the sparks that start our crusade around the world that starts in Fiore. It doesn't really matter if they are going to betray me or not. All that matters is if they can destroy some houses and kill some people for us which is pretty typical demon and devil culture type stuff so I'm sure they will be just fine." He continued speaking to her and answering things. "I have known about this side of you for awhile now. The wonders that a computer filled with information can have, huh? I learned about what they called the True Reaper version of you and even learned about things they implanted the others to do. They really did not hold back on giving us an ample amount of abilities they wanted to hone for us. Must have been like a kid running into a candy store for them." He let out a laugh again to his own comment like the jester that he was.

His laugh was cut off by her threat to hurt him as much as he hurt her which his eyes widened staring at her with a grin on his face. "Did you think I wanted it any other way? If you are not good enough to keep up with me now then you are worthless to me in every sense of the word and I will just end you here. If you manage to do the same to me then that just means we both were meant to die in this purgatory dimension together like the true romantics that we are!" He laughed again but this time with his eyes staring directly at Demiari showing just where his sanity was and had been to her.

His laughter increased as the area around them was suddenly engulfed in black bolts of lightning and pillars of white flame while also the area around Demiari would feel as if the air was enough pressure to bruise her skin as well as a feeling of her getting weaker while being near Cirven. His laughing was almost drowned out by the sounds of the elements raging around them and destroying the settlement they were in. "Don't worry. I will make this fight we will be having here as glorious as possible just so when anyone sees the aftermath they will know that two beings with enough power to be placed among men, fought here. They just won't know that this is like a stroll in the park for us!" His laughing continued but suddenly stopped as he used his ability to use flames to propel himself towards her again and reached out to attack her, this time aiming for her stomach but he would clash with her weapon using his claws against it. He would attempt to disarm her if it were possible. He knew with the disadvantages she had with one of his strongest spells being paired with others that she would have a hard time in reacting while dodging all of the attacks directed at her and the area around both of them. It was not a orthodox way of attacking which he wanted to use as a form of surprise against her.

Returning To The Fold Empty Re: Returning To The Fold

Post by Yuiisai 1st May 2019, 8:34 pm

Demi looked at him as he spoke about her fatigue, she wished she wasn't as tired as she was now when it came to fighting him, even the slightest wrong movement even when she was at full energy could mean permanent damage or even death to the other. The thing was that she was tired so knew she would be more prone to stupid mistakes so had to make every movement count and do her best to time her strikes against the other. "Yes, I am tired but we've been tired before when we've trained and it never stopped us..." she smiled and then grinned "And it will not stop me now Trase, if I can't keep up then I don't deserve to be at your feet let alone at your side and you know I'm never going under anyone's foot again especially not a clown like yours." she said with a laugh her scythe starting to glow as she found renewed energy as if this was some sort of child's game that she refused to let him win. She wasn't prepared to die to him unless he would be coming with her, her albino cheeks had a gentle pinkness to them as she thought of how she never wanted to part from him again and so would do what was needed to stay by him through this cycle and the next.

"Well that isn't exactly true Trase, you've been with the rest of the family and free for a lot longer than I had been..." she bit the inside of her cheek for a moment "Home... the place I met Rui, we weren't permitted to use magic or abilities, to do so came with harsh punishments and where I never ended up baring them, he did and I couldn't bare it so I done as was needed so he would survive." she knew given that she had chosen her path she should keep her past where it was and even now she knew it wouldn't be accepted as an excuse if she had not grown in any way. It was obvious she had the ability if she placed enough effort to push past anything that could have prevented her from using things, after all she had transferred her immortality to Ruvel without them knowing so he could survive the harsh punishment that came after she refused to let any of them touch her crystal and killed the ones who dared to try do it. Even though it hadn't been as intense as when she was with the others she had done her best to keep up with her training at the place she only knew as home.

She smiled for a moment before laughing as he said he would make her stronger "I'd expect nothing less from you clown." she said with a grin, she was thankful that he was filling in the blanks and at least they were on the same page when it came to the apparent demon army they seemingly just recruited, she still wanted to kill a few of them to let out the frustration she was feeling but then she hit herself with the flat of her scythe "No, that isn't the way to think... unneeded killing is the way I work... not anymore..." she reminded herself but she knew that such a way of thinking would hinder her when it came to fighting him but she still couldn't feed into that part of her, she didn't want to do unneeded harm and due to that it had dulled her scythe's blade because she didn't have the killer instinct any longer.

She could only shake her head as he explained about what they had called that side of herself "Reapers don't have a secondary side to them Trase, that side of of me they caused..." she turned her head away "Even Oykai is affected by what was done to me." she feared what would happen if her twin got to close to her right now, he was safe thanks to the contract he still held with Ruvel but she had no idea what would happen if he got to close to her and honestly didn't want to find out. She bit her lip for a moment and nodded, she had to agree with him on that one, what had happened to them wasn't fair. She had been taken from her crib as a newborn and brought to the dark guild that was Cor Torva, she wasn't sure if it happened that way for others. She knew that wasn't the case for Cirven as there would have been no way he would have known about this place she was sure of that. "I hate them for what they done to me Trase, for what they done to my family but they also gave me you..." she shook her head "But they need to pay for what they done to us, each and every one of them need to pay." she said with a cold tone her hand gripping on her scythe as she tried to keep the door closed but she was failing terribly against the struggle 'Please, Oykai I need help.' she didn't know if he would help her this time, his priority would be on the youth she had almost killed and she couldn't blame him on it.

She chuckled hearing his words and shook her head "No, this is us playing after all Trase. I wouldn't be any good if I didn't trying and bring you to the afterlife with me." she commented as she dashed forward to try and strike him with her scythe but still she was holding back against him "I am far from worthless and we both know it." she said coldly releasing the spell that was trapped within the lantern of her scythe, the white fire aiming right towards the one who had sent it right after her. She needed to yawn once more but pushed it back as the last thing she needed was to be distracted due to how tired she was, she was already doing something stupid in holding back against him but she needed to gauge things before she even attempted such an action especially now. That being said she felt the continued stress on the door and compass within her and knew that she couldn't keep this pace up much longer, she would end up collapsing before to long. It was when her gaze met his she understood how things were for them, they had always cared deeply for each other no matter the trials they were put through, in fact they fought so hard against each other because they wanted to make sure the other was the strongest they could be if they weren't around or that they would die and could be with each other without the worry of others controlling them.

It was then she realised to keep this relationship she would have to sacrifice everything to stay with him, she could no longer hold back, she could no longer hold onto the morals she once had or even keep the door locked any longer. Thing was she didn't know if she was ready to give up everything she was for him, she already gave so much up of late but to lose herself that was something completely different. she knew that side of him made him excited, happy and he wanted her to remain in it but it was just so tiring and if that wasn't someone he could be with then she would have given up everything for nothing and she was afraid of that. Now was a real trial for her in truth she lost something either way, she was sick and tired of having to lose things she was done with it. At that moment her scythe vanished as did the kodachi she wielded. It was then the air started to feel heavy as did the area around her, if she didn't know any better she would have sworn that she was under the sea and was getting affected by the deep water. It wasn't an uncomfortable feeling but at the same time it was one she would rather do without. "Fine, you want everything Trase... I'll give you everything, but, after this no more stupid tests... I will be back with my family! I will have proven to you I deserve to be by your side! That I never once betrayed you!" she said coldly to him her scythe returning to her hand as she removed the pressure from her skin. She removed the weakness from her body, she needn't have worried about her speed because she would have always been faster than anyone within a certain range of herself and right now that would have been Cirven thanks to the debuff his spell gave her.

Seeing the white flames coming towards her however she had to quick step once more to try and avoid them the problem was she had managed to dodge most of them thanks to her ability but she still didn't manage to get out of the way of all of them and so got struck by one, she managed to get a shield up just in time, the flowers on her scythe opening a little more. She seen him coming towards her but grinned and dropped her guard allowing him to strike her across the stomach, yet again the flowers opened a little more all she could do was laugh at him for taking such an action against her, a black mist started creeping from her body steadily out making Cirven feel like he was being harmed by an unseen force if he got to close to her. It was one of the abilities that she had taught herself while being at the facility so not something he would expect, nor something he'd really be able to see within his own illusion of darkness. What the other didn't know was that she had also let out a secondary aura, this one was invisible to the naked eye and would slowly start to drain his mana.

As he had gotten so close to her even inflicted a wound upon her she was still laughing with a joy she hadn't felt in a long time as she twisted the scythe around and ripped it up in the attempts to slash it across his cheek and nose, at the same time she released the energy she had built up giving her scythe additional strength against it her eyes showing an intense madness as she fought against him, at the same time tears however were falling from her eyes. With these few actions she had broken the door down herself and even broke the already damaged compass that she held within her body. She didn't need validation from him or the others any longer, she just wanted to be by his side and this, this part of her allowed her to do that she held no regrets in what she had just done but her energy for now was well and truly spent as was shown as she stumbled forward a little her scythe fading as she fell onto his body.

"I gave up Rui, I gave up my twin, I gave up my cousins.." she whispered into his ear her voice extremely faint "For our family." she said her hands slowly working their way up his body one staying at his chest and the other going to his now cut and bleeding cheek "I gave up what I was for you however Trase, I want to remain by your side and make this world burn for the sins they have committed. There's not a single being that deserves the life they have been given and so they will perish along side it." she was smiling a satisfied smile the entire time she talked to him her head going to his chest. "I love you Trase Mizune and when we are done enlightening the world to their folly we will rule together." she said looking up to him the whites of her eyes were still there though around the iris there was a thick black circle, her blood ruby eyes showed signs of purple, black and white flecks the pupil itself was a deep purple. "I will train in this form for now Trase until I can get use to it, it will leave me a well of energy I can call upon when it's needed." she didn't know if he would accept it but this form was far stronger than the one with the barbed scythe because it could be maintained indefinitely and without eating up all her energy once she had a handle on it "I will train with the other side also but when it comes out until I can get use to it I'll need to rest Trase, it doesn't make me weak, it's just a side of me I've never really used and so need to grow into" she would grow stronger and with her sparing partner and lover by her side once more that would be a much easier feat that it had been in the last six years. For now however her eyes closed as her scythe fell from her hand and faded she had now fallen asleep standing holding onto him a happy smile on her face.

Returning To The Fold Empty Re: Returning To The Fold

Post by Cirven 4th May 2019, 9:11 am

Their over the top sparring match had come to a abrupt end with his attack into her stomach and her attack with her scythe that cut across his face. He did not dare to avoid it as it was the climax of this battle they were having. A climax of powers that were strained over and over again against each other specifically for them to destroy the powers of those that ruled above all mortal things. The Devil Jester was not going to allow this to be some sort of battle that was decided by him simply dodging her attack or mitigating the damage of it. He wanted to take everything she could muster at this point head on which meant that there would be consequences but he knew that she would be doing the same for him, no matter how grave the injury. It was always like this when they sparred as kids and it caused most of those around them to fear challenging them or even talking to them at all.

A twisted grin formed over his face as he felt his clawed hand dig deep into Demiari's torso and even protrude out her back a bit showing that her body was stronger than most as the attack he had done could have easily ripped apart most others. The fact she was able to attack him while dealing with such damage to her body was also extraordinary for most but not for the two strongest of 'Family'. Her scythe ripped through the air and connected with Cirven's face cutting him from the bottom right side of his face, cutting across his nose, across his eye and to the top left side of his face. Blood poured from the injury as he realized that his regenerating was not going to heal from that attack with the energy she had used to do it which only made him more excited as she was able to permanently injure him where others could never come close. A twisted cackle came from him causing more blood to pour from his face as both of them realized how much fun they were having, completely lost in their insanity.

He was too consumed by his mind being warped by his craziness to respond to her words before she passed out onto him causing him to instinctively to attack her with his other hand, ripping through her upper torso with his claws. She also had willing pushed his hand completely through her torso which slightly shocked Cirven but only made the madness intensify as he realized just how far she had come to stand by his side. She had given up everything just for the others but mostly for him. She attacked someone she treasured as her sibling and even blinded them, she discarded her familial ties to her cousins and brother, she dropped what mercilessness she had to kill on a whim over contemplating things, etc, etc. He was happy with her progress with attempting to regain the trust of who she felt was her actual family. His smile was a combination of excitement from their battle and happiness from getting her to bend to his wants of her. His shadow form dispersed and he returned to his regular form showing just how bad her attack on his body was and an unexplained tear that went down his face. Just before the tear could fall off his face and possibly onto her, it burned away from red tinted white flames that ripped just under his chin as he used his own hand to dig into and through his neck.

"You might be unconscious now but I wonder if you remember that time when you did and injury across my neck like this to me?" Blood was spilling from the injuries on his face and neck onto her as he spoke while his grin stayed plastered on his face. "You first used this power against me then and killed me just for my regeneration ability to kick in and bring me back." He dropped to the ground in a sitting position still holding her with his arm through her torso. He used the arm that was through her body to hold her like some sort of mentally destroyed mother with her child. He knew this was the only way two people could actual hold each other and show their love for each other with their blood spilled onto each others bodies and him holding her with his arm literally through her torso. The scene would have been only romantic to those whose minds were just as warped and twisted as theirs. "I wanted this. I wanted us to bring ourselves to have our little sparring match aiming to kill each other again. No thoughts. No mercy. Just our smiles, laughing and blood surrounding an area completely in our lust to show the other just how we feel for them by trying to rip them apart with while filled with joy. It is a true romance!" He laughed loudly with his mouth moving roughly which caused more of his blood to spill out onto her. His mouth was completely drenched in his own blood also. Neither injury was healing for him and he wanted it to be that way; A combination of her wound inflicted on his face and his own work across his neck to show what the two felt for one another like a wedding ring in the form of a scar. He knew that her chest would not heal without a major scar either which furthered the impact of the duo's symbolism in the scars they would have.

A portal would open near them and Korvin with Ves would make their way into the area where they would stand over the two. Cirven would be playing with Demiari's hair with both of his hands, even the one still protruding through her body. He would be mixing their blood together into her hair as he did so. His gaze would turn to Korvin and Ves, a grin forming over his face. "You gave us a bit more time to be alone, didn't you, Ves?" The clairvoyant man would smile and nod, seemingly not affected by the scene of carnage the two left from their sparring. "Let's go then." He spoke out and followed the two into the portal, both Demiari and his wounds creating a trail of evidence of what transpired between them with their blood.

Inside of the dimensional space that Korvin had created, Cirven would leave Demiari to rest and then leave to appear before the Devil Elder, Raktin. "Ahhh! My liege! What happened to you!? We need to treat you immediately!" Raktin exclaimed but before he could continue, Cirven shook his head and spoke. "I am fine, Raktin. This was just a reminder of a little fun I had and a pact I have made. I killed Tutantamin and have returned to you and my people in order to be given my birthright and become a full devil now so that I can rule as it should be." Raktin listened to the words of his soon to be King and nodded. "Ye-yes! Of course! We have already made all of the necessary preparations for you, sir! We did not want you to come back and have to wait after all!" Raktin took the injured Cirven to another section of the building they were in. Some of the others of the Detergers followed behind them. They arrived to a room with a handful of other devils there sitting around markings made on the floor. No words were spoken as Cirven had been here before and he took his place in the center of the markings. Raktin moved to an open position near the markings and he and the other devils started to chant causing the markings to light up with a emerald green light. The light then completely surrounded Cirven, leaving those around it not able to see him or what was happening inside of the light. After a short time the light started to continually let off a shockwave of power over and over for a short time. The devils all stopped their chanting after this and the light slowly dispersed revealing a long white haired, horned devil standing before them. His hair covered most of his face but he flipped it back using his hand and formed a smile over his face to them. The damage over his face and neck were now scars across them and he let out a laugh. "That was exhilarating! Can I go again!??" The new Cirven spoke out then laughed. Raktin smiled at the change and kneeled down to Cirven, as did the other devils. "My liege!" Cirven could only smile as he started to look over his new body and could feel that his wounds had healed but left scars. "It it time for me to become the King of this city and those who live in it. This will be the start of all of our fun. It will be a entire world's worth!" He let out another laugh again and proceeded to take up his new mantle in the city and over the devils and demon, acquiring a substantial boost to the numbers that he had under his command.

    How Cirven Looks Now:

Returning To The Fold Empty Re: Returning To The Fold

Their powers had been strained, this was nothing unusual for when the two fought with each other. She knew it hadn't always been that way, they use to train like the others without the intent to do any real damage but then her reaper abilities had manifested midway during a fight because of him. The moment that happened she seen red and wanted him dead and was willing to pay any price to see it happen, she willed for the power to do it with every fibre of her being and a beautifully elegant and ornate scythe appeared in her hand. She didn't know at that point that this was the physical manifestation of her soul and it held untold abilities while also heightening her own natural abilities. The battle was over in a few swings as at that point Cirven didn't expect the onslaught that was about to happen, why would he have they fought hard sure, but never with the intent to do any real damage to the other.

Once she had come to the realisation of her actions and what it meant her eyes went wide as she screamed running to his side dropping the scythe holding her hands over the wound that she herself had given to the other. She was now willing with everything she was that he would survive but she had never been strong in the art of healing, why would she be? She was a weapon of destruction, meant to bring death not prevent it from happening, that was someone else's job she was pretty sure. She truly thought she had killed him in that moment but it was almost as if the gods had heard her prayers as he started to heal from the fatal wound that he had received. The scientists that tended to them seemed to be pleased with what they had witnessed, her abilities as a reaper finally awoken and his ability to heal from damage that would have sent a normal person to their graves. From that moment on everything seemed to change between them, after a bit of trial and error it was deemed that the two couldn't go at full strength with the others of their unit, even the foreseeing Ves had issues with them though he did last the longest if only by a few minutes. No one knew what it was but they could handle what the other could throw out and then some, pushing the other that much further each time they fought.

It was due to the force and intent that they went after each other that gave them the reputation of the strongest within their family, due to their strength even members of their own unit were cautious around them. It was bad if one of the members of 'family' was sent after you, you must have done something dumb if she or he was sent after you and if the two were sent together... well you must have done something worse than a simple screw up that was for sure because there would be nothing left. Still they were rarely happier than when they were fighting one another, it became like a graceful dance of fate and chance, even the smallest mistake could be taken advantage of and would have cost the other big. She wondered if anyone could understand this beautiful dance of death they seemed to never stop dancing, she didn't care if they did one way or another if they did this was something special to them and that is all that mattered to her at the end of the day. There were of course times they spent time alone without fighting, were they could be somewhat normal, of course there had been times they had wandered into the others mind they pushed each other there too, but one could never seem to get the upper hand over the other.

The fact that he could go toe to toe with someone with the mental fortitude she had was more than a little impressive as she could quite easily have pushed weaker people into submission, but she had come to expect nothing less from him. She had been exhausted but had mustered enough energy so they could do their dance once more, she didn't know just how much energy he had but knew as they were kids he would hold back nor would he dodge and why would he? She was wasn't about to dodge his attack either, in fact she welcomed it, this had been something that they had both been wishing for since they had been separated as far as she knew. With one final swing with the scythe that was the manifestation of her true soul, she put everything into it she had, her wishes, her wants, her desires, her sorrow, her betrayals, her memories, her pain and her joy. She wanted him to feel it all, he needed to feel it all to remember it all, what they were to one another. The blade had cut up his cheek, across his nose and ended above his other eye, knew there was no way in existence that it wouldn't leave a mark even when healed. It would stand as a constant reminder to him of the sin he had committed against her, the proof that she had truly given everything up to be by his side.

As her own strike hit she felt a pressure within her own torso as she fell against his chest she dropped the scythe making it fade, her hand going to his arm pushing his clawed hand going further into her to the point it had almost managed to break the skin on her back. She showed no signs of discomfort or pain, in fact a smile was on her face as she finished speaking to him, it was almost as if she was at peace with everything that had just happened and would accept the fate that he would give her because of her own weakness in tiring. She knew the that if she did survive this that there was no way she was getting out if this unscathed, their would be a scar where his hand had entered her torso, she guessed he wanted to show her a few things he had on his mind too. It was something could live with, it would likely be something only he would ever see unless her clothing got damaged in such a way.

Though not awake she could feel his hand still within her body, their his blood mingling with her own, to her it felt like a type of union had been struck between the two and though though his voice was distant to her she could hear his words. Barely. Glistening purple tears fell from her eyes but unlike normal they crystallised on her cheeks before shattering. All the time she had been separated from them had finally come to an end, even if untrusted by the rest she no longer felt truly alone. Why they didn't trust her she didn't understand, not fully, she had done nothing to betray them so how could she understand? Before long she heard him mention Ves so knew that they were no longer alone. She felt the movements meaning they where now on the move this caused her eyes to open as she seen that they where now within one of Korvin's pocket dimensions her eyes closing once more before she was laid to rest 'Another day to live, hu Trase.' her mind sent weakly to his as he left the dimension to do what he had to.

She laid their unmoving on the ground breathing silently but steadily, the others looking at her almost wondering if she was going to survive from the onslaught that she seemingly went through. "Is she going to survive do you think?" Laniiar asked looking to the others "Why would it matter when she turned her back on us again?" Lanis question with a shrug, she wanted to beat him into a bloody pulp but right now her body wasn't listening to her "Don't let him hear you say that" Korvin warned the other "Betrayer or not, remember the last time?" she continued with a sigh "She'll survive" Ves said calmly "How are you so sure?" Laniiar asked with a bit of confusion "She's still breathing now isn't she." Ves replied looking to them "She might have been away for years but now way we would have survived that attack." he said before going quiet he could only imagine how much stronger they could have been if she and their leader hadn't been separated all those years ago but it was something that would be rectified soon but until she had their trust, until she understood there was no way of that happening.

Demi's eyes opened a little though seemed dull her hand going to her wound that had been caused by Cirven "I'm going to kill that clown one of these days" she said laughing a little as she started to sit up "Is that wise?" She was asked by Korvin "Most likely not but I can move a bit so good enough." she said standing slowly moving to Lanis and leaned in "Talk about me like that again and you will not survive the backlash, I promise you Lanis." she whispered so only he could hear, though she wore a smile and her tone was gentle though held a cold undertone showing she wasn't kidding about what she said "Korvin, open a portal I need to see Trase." she said making the requiping portal mage blink thinking she was insane given her condition but nodded opening the portal. Demi walked through her torso slowly healing, her hand going to her stomach as she walked through. She wanted to stumble but she kept to a steady pace and standing straight. "Excuse me..." she asked looking to the people around the room weapons drawn and pointed towards her "Put those things down, I'm tired and really don't feel like killing a bunch of demons and devils right now." she said coldly with a smile as a thought came to her, their lives meant nothing to her in fact they were raising their weapons to her actually made her laugh "Your lives are at an end for that single act." she said an insane look in her eyes.

Her blood cover hand going to her side a kodachi made of shadow appearing in it, even though she was tired and beyond injured she needed to assert her dominance in her mind against those who would be foolish enough to do this. With quick steps to the left and right she made quick work of the demons and devils who stood in her way. When she appeared back in her original spot it looked like nothing had be done, her hand going back to her wound slowly as it turned to look at Cirven the clattering of weapons would be heard as heads and arms fell with them before she walked forward towards the white haired male not caring about the bodies slumping to the floor around her. "Trase, you here? You owe me a new outfit." she said walking deeper into the room "Also I need to go for a bit, I'll be back in a week or so." she said walking towards the white haired man and smiled touching his cheek "You're looking good by the way Trase, is there anything that needs done before I go." she said curling close to his chest
