The day started off as usual for Tam...Wake up around noon, realizes he over slept,
regret, accept, and take the loss for the day. Tam recalled that there was some training today for the Rune Knights recruit, but that started at 5am, at this point he already missed it. With a heavy sigh Tam rolled out of bed and began to get ready. After a quick shower, Tam quickly got dressed in his most comfortable and casual clothes. He quickly left and stealthed his way out of the Rune Knights barracks and made his way to the heart of Magnolia.
The streets was bustling and the crowds of people breathed life to the concrete jungle. It was nice....after Tam had spent most of his life on an island training. The ability to be able to get lost in the sea of people had its own charm, one could be alone but not ever truly be alone. After 20 minutes or so Tam took out of what looked to be a cigarette. He knew it wasn't exactly a good habit but even so it was an necessary evil in Tam's life. Oddly enough the cigarette look a like didn't reek of tobacco and other chemicals but instead left a pleasant scent of mint in the area and in his mouth.
"Oh man... the pastry shop should be having the bomb cheese cake right now...." Tam muttered to himself as he navigated to the streets. He took a right turn at the corner of the market district and made his way towards the pastry shop. Low and behold a long line snaked around the building. With a heavy sigh Tam lined up and patiently waited. First ten minutes or so Tam finished smoking the minty cigarette. Eventually he began to causally converse with some of the people in line. When he got really bored he took out his harmonics and began softly playing to himself and to those round him.
With enough dedication and tunes Tam was able to make it to the front of the line.
"Here you go sir last slice" smiled the waitress. Tam smiled feeling the victory march of acquiring the succulent cheese cake, payed for the dessert and turned around to find a seat. He then noticed there was one last person behind him, it looked like they wouldn't be able to get a slice. Tam felt bad and so he approached the person after all it was just a slice of cheese cake...
"Hey uh would you like my slice instead? I realized I was allergic to one of the ingredients used in the cake. I haven't touched it yet so.... do ya want it?" Tam lied about having an allergy in hopes to make it less awkward, but to his dismay his voiced wavered ever so slightly. His ears turned a slight shade of pink at the tips as he held out the cheese cake in its cutely decorated box.
