The mountains weren't especially beautiful today, majoritively for the torrents of rain that crashed into the stone; interrupting Levlidian's half decent streak with severe irritations. Still, he refused to move any faster than he already was and that was a hearty walk at best.
"This had better be worth my damn time," snarled the Slayer, red hair matted to his scalp, flesh bright with the little light shining from the skies thanks to the crack of the primal lightning. It had taken him days but finally, he'd tracked the bandits to their hideout, even with the torrential rain he could smell them, a cruel smile developed across his lips exposing canines.
"Finally, I can unleash on these people," mused the serpent slayer and as if the fates encouraged this, an opening came to light on the path of which he trod. Like that of a predator, his stance shifted, the pace slowed even as he'd peer into the opening and see nothing but darkness. He'd been tracking their scent since their last strike on a passing Merchant wagon, of course, he hadn't stepped in to help at all and merely allowed them their ways. There was no use exposing himself until he had to, unfortunately, they'd known the mountain paths far better than he and outmaneuvered him. The thoughts of superiority overwhelmed the red-haired male now, cruelty settled in his eyes as the very frame of his being began to heat up, stepping into the darkness there was a distinct hissing sound arising from a drying body.

Onwards he would tread, heel pressed first, echoes kept to a minimum and inwardly he'd push until the darkness finally relinquished to a shabby, wooden door. From about the frame bled a flickering hue of flames. Levlidian himself reached outwards, taking the door under his palm and leaning in part- a short creak of wood sounded as he leaned against it but his smile never faltered. With a burst of fire and splintering wood, the Dragon Slayer had arrived; the cries from beyond the door said it all, he had interrupted.
"Greetings!" cried Levlidian, baring the broadest smile he would manage whilst flames engulfed both hands. He bore a furrowed brow as the light of the fire summoned an eerie, orange glow about their Masters' form. "Y'all crossed the wrong folks this time!" his confidence bled clear of his words. The room to which he entered held only three souls within, each had started and cried out as Levlidian rushed inside.

"Holy crap!" blurted out two of them whilst the first scrambled form their seats, rows of tables aligned by long benches across the stone, boxes, and crates littered the walls and a pit blazing with fire rested at the center. Clearly, they had been eating and sharing tales- until the Dragon Slayer arrived, he bore down on the last two with a crazed quirk to the tip of his smile. Turning on him, the last two, Toby and Kim withdrew their weapons. Toby snared his two knives and began scrambling across the seats to find his target whilst Kim seemed to drop back- her slender build slipping through the flickering light of the flames to perhaps sneak up on Levlidian.

"Ah, boy, you have some balls," he cried and took hold of one such bench, flipping it aside just as Toby dove with his knives but clearly; he wasn't as skilled as he'd want the Mage to believe. The blade missed, slipped aside the toned waist of his target whos elbow, emblazoned in flame drove hard down upon the top of his shoulder forcing him to the floor.
"Come on," whined the flame-haired man, flames licking at his flesh, "Give me a-," whirling, twisting on his axis to deliver a savage kick to the crouching Toby's ribs and sending him soaring into the far wall. "-Challenge," he finished with a sickening laugh. Kim cringed at the sickening crack her comrade made as he struck the stone but she had her own plan. Diving for Levlidian, fists brandished but unfortunately for her, despite not having noticed her, the target had chosen to invoke his magic.

"Burning HOWL!" the flames coating his right hand folded into a ball, coiling and turning, Levlidian cupped his hands about the ball and stepped into the thrust of his shoulder, leading the ball, it burst with searing heat towards Toby and the sheer force threw Kim back and away from her attack. Toby screamed with agony and the flames whipped about the small corner he resided in till nothing more than a charred creature fell into a slump where the thief once was. Kim's eyes widened and now, she had the eyes of the Dragon Slayer upon her.

"Next?" came the husky request of the clearly irritated Levlidian, heavy boots turned him around and neared the fellow to Kim. "How about you, care to try?" a laugh following again as he crouched, like a predator prepared to pounce. Kim panicked and backed off, she wasn't an outright fighter and prepared to scavenge. Like a pup, she retreated but her stalker already burst forward with a cry for combat.
Meanwhile, deeper within the abode, the cries of Kim could be heard followed by the savage offensive of an angered beast, so it would sound, at least. Randy returned with his brother, the disheveled thugs neared the door to where he'd left Kim and Toby only for the door to erupt from its hinges followed by the Teenagers broken and bleeding body; of course, unlike Toby, she still lived.

Stepping back into his bigger, bulkier brother, Wade, the two of them stepped to take Kim just as Levlidian followed suit. Flames brimming across his wrists as he stepped inside. The girl seemed unconscious, burns and welts forming across her complexion and body. Randy scowled and placed the girl down before rising and drawing his club, brandishing it with both hands and delving to attack Levlidian who caught the club. The sheer touch of his burning hand ignited the weapon, the Dragon Slayer himself delivered a savage back-hand to Randy knocking him down.

"Pathetic," growled the Mage and yet it was Wade who interjected, stepping into the light. With broad shoulders, a build like that of a mountain, it was difficult to ignore his base riddled voice.
"Eh," with a Warhammer donned on his right shoulder, rested and grasped by his left, it was clear he was a more formidable warrior indeed. Relinquishing the destroyed bat, charred and useless, Randy scooted backward seeking a means to stand whilst Levlidian positioned closer to the pair. The tails of his coat fluttering with his sudden movements, glancing between the two, a motion to 'come at him' was all he'd do. Crouching in part and readying his fists for combat, it would be the larger man who swang first. With a grunt, hammer slapping the palm of his right hand in preparation before he threw the head in a wide swing for his target. Levlidian dipped, swerved under the attack but went right for Randy, the flames engulfing his fists barreling for the shocked man. A sickening crack filled the air as the Wizard struck the younger brother sending him backward to collide into the wall falling unconscious. Turning now, just as the older brother readied his hammer in a rage.

However, in his arrogance, Levlidian marveled in his third victory only for him to turn and face the roar of the older brother, raising his forearms, yet this was an act of futility as the head of the weapon sank into his ribs sending Levlidian careering backward and through the ruined door into the charred room beyond it. Coughing horrendously, flames extinguished about his wrists as the struggle to stand began.
"Dammit," cursed the young Mage and he staggered only to snap into action, evading another swing just barely. "You're an entirely different class," grunted Levlidian. Steadying his footing as the hammer struck the floor now. Flexing his large muscles, Wade snared a poisonous glance for his opponent and yet; Levlidian had already acted. Taking in a deep, fruitful breath and protruding his chest, the Dragon Slayer bellowed at the top of his lungs.
"Wrathful Fire Dragon's roar!" and breathed outwards a torrent of flame in a cone, engulfing Wade entirely who threw up his arms, relinquishing his hammer in order to fully defend against this attack.

However, he staggered and his skin bubbled against the ferocity of the attack, as his jaws closed, Levlidian dove into the blaze, it's aftermath hiding him, bringing a fist around to crack Wade hard across the jaw, grasping him by the hair, however, he drew that stunned head down as he leaped to drive a knee hard into the complexion of his target knocking him into a stagger.
"Tougher, yes," snarled the Slayer, wiping his nose of the blood that ran from it and settles a palm mere moments from the Thug's chest, "-but still just a peon," the cruelest smile returned whilst flames began to whip about his open palm. "Burning," he whispered and Wade managed to come to just in time to hear him roar, "HOWL!" and flames pierced the man's chest as he fires a point-blank attack, killing the man. Wade cried out in agony, falling to his knees in the wake of the attack whilst Levlidian merely stepped around the toppling corpse and headed further inside.

Mere minutes is all it took, trecking into a storeroom of sorts, boxes everywhere, sacks and all forms of stolen goods. There, stood at the far end was a gentleman sat upon a box.
"I've been waiting," sneered the Thief and Levlidian bore the usual, smug, insidious grin towards him.
"Listening to your men die, well, and they call me cold," the Dragon Slayer laughed.
"Hardly, I thought they could handle one Wizard," he stood, boasting confidence but there was no hiding the rage in his eyes. "The names Zack," he growled, but Levlidian was in no mood to talk. Already lowering himself, flames ignited around him and off he took. Speed like a sparked flame he crashed through the boxes before him and raised his fist to strike.

This was in vain, however, for the winds seemed to kick up on all sides and blood lashed the ground forcing the attacker to cease his attack and stumble, wounds appearing across his chest and sides as well as torn clothing.
"Damnit," hissed Levlidian as his amber eye fixed on Zack once again, his hand poised and a smug grin birthed across the thug's features.
"You're not the only Wizard here," came the challenge but the red-haired Slayer was already firing up again. "A little wind huh? Pathetic!" he cried and dove for the thug once again, Zack swept further blades of air for his attacker who swept aside one and was blown off course again by the second. Falling amongst the loot and snarling in pain.

"Damnit," repeated Levlidian and he rose up again only to be struck hard in his already injured ribs by a fast-moving Zack, kicking the Wizard hard and sending him sprawling. managing to right himself, Lev' could only breathe heavily, he'd expelled a lot of magic fighting the others, it would seem he'd have to gamble the rest to end this quickly. "If I hadn't wasted my attack on that waste of space git with a hammer," he scowled, "Standing to ready himself, he waited for the leader to attack again. Dashing now, wind driving him, Zack bore down on Levlidian who closed his eyes and began to inhale, he neared him as the man's chest protruded but far too late; the thug realized.

"Volcanic Fire Dragon's roar!" cried Levlidian and unleashed his most powerful spell upon him, unbeknownst to the thug and the Wizard, his heritage bolstered this attack further as Zack was male. Moments passed, the wall opposite them charred and hollowed till the roar burst out the other side and into adjoining rooms setting them all ablaze. The leader himself collapsed against the far wall, charred black and unmoving whilst the Dragon Slayer took another breath, he staggered and collapsed onto his knees. "Five to zero," he chuckled and slumped now upon a box. "Dang it-," and he fell unconscious from the sheer exertion. He'd slumber a while, more than likely before returning to claim his bounty.

Hours would pass, Levlidian rose feeling a little worse for wear, working his way with a stagger beyond the door only to locate the unconscious girl he hadn't murdered yet. No one else was about, a look of uncertainty crossed his amber eyes as an almost sad expression crossed the Slayer's complexion. "Sorry," he whispered and kneeled before the woman- yes he'd collect his bounty but as he wrapped his hands about their throat. Something told him, this would be a very bitter claim, indeed and he began to squeeze.

    "Damnit," he muttered.
