The Coming Storm(Karasuki) Empty The Coming Storm(Karasuki)

Post by Gades Saito 15th May 2019, 6:18 pm

Gades sat at a local café not that far from his apartment in Rose Gardens, the Incubus had recently moved here and had managed to obtain a large amount of money from his family so he decided to obtain a rather spacious and luxious apartment in the higher end of the magical city and he had it set up so he could relax and paint at his leasure at least when guild dutys were not a priority, it also helped that he was well integrated into the community and used it to obtain information that many might not be privy to. It was due to his innate Incubus nature coming out which he used to charm and entrance many of his neighbors which allowed him a good deal of control in his area. Right now he was simply sipping on a cup of black coffee that had a lovely caramel aftertaste and a scone to go with it while he planned his events for the day.

Glancing up at the sky the incubus could tell that something big was coming, the clouds were dark almost pitch black and if he had heard right a strong storm was approaching that would last for several days. It was odd but then again in a world of magic it was possible, thankfully the dark mage’s penthouse was reinforced to be able to handle such weather. Even with all its windows the building was magicly shielded and the windows were magically enhanced.” I should finish up soon and get back before that storm hits or im gonna be soaked “ he muttered to himself as he took a bite of his scone and then sipped his coffee.

The Coming Storm(Karasuki) Empty Re: The Coming Storm(Karasuki)

Post by Karasuki 16th May 2019, 7:12 pm

Karasuki let out a ragged cough, covering her mouth with her left hand. The shine of her guild tattoo sparkled there and she frowned as she looked at it. She was too far away from Ace of Spades to ask any guild members for help. Her iLac was nowhere to be found, possibly still on her desk in her room within the guild itself. Her head was eerily empty. She felt a feeling similar to despair or loneliness, Geralt's voice not there to prod her, or encourage her. Her long purple hair clung to the sides of her face in small mats, her loose braid half undone and sticking to her shoulder. Her over the shoulder bag dragged beside her knees as she stumbled down the street. The books within were drenched and possibly ruined. She couldn't find the strength or magical energy to open the portal to the guild on her own, and given the warnings she had received from Guild Leader Ryo on her first day, Karasuki didn't dare try without the confidence she needed to succeed.

She made her way through the rainstorm, the streets devoid of all life: closed vendors lining the road and the usual artists absent from their places. Instead of violinists, guitar players, painters, and sketch artists, there were smeared chalkboard menus and clouded windows from local shops. It seemed most places had closed down from the bad weather, but Karasuki didn't know where else to go. She had summoned beside her Ryokō Rikuden, a monk with a long mohawk styled hairdo and purple and white robes. Ryokō had given Karasuki his tall golden staff and pulled his hat up over his head as the wind worsened through the courtyard. "You sure your painter friend is around here, no da?" Karasuki nodded, lifting her head wearily. "He said I could find him here and this is where I met him the first time. I don't have the magic to keep summoning you. We would never make it all the way to Ace of Spades at this rate." Ryokō gave her a worried look, before scanning the windows.

Karasuki stood up and looked around, pointing out a shape through the mists. "That could be him, dark hair, light skin." She chuckled, "It could also not be. Won't know until we try." She took a few steps with the staff, using it as a cane and almost tripping into a puddle, misplacing her feet. As she fell, Ryokō caught her by the arm, hoisting her back up. "You're regretting splitting Geralt's soul from yours. I won't say I told you so, no da, but I wish you had taken my advice and found a compromise and a peace to share your soul with him." "You wouldn't say that if you had to live with a villain inside of you every day," Karasuki mumbled, leaning into him. It was half-hearted and Ryokō didn't debate with her. He knew how she felt and they both knew without Geralt, Karasuki would be in trouble. Who knew how long a person could live without a part of their own soul? Who knew how long she would survive before a reaper came calling? "Let's go," Karasuki said, "He's the only friend I may have, outside of Masha. But I have no way of finding her." The monk conceded and squeezed her arm. "I can stay a little while more. Hopefully, this is the Gades Saito you spoke so highly of."

Together they made their way slowly to the coffee shop. When they got close enough to the window, Karasuki's vision cleared and she let out a smile. Her bones ached and breathing was straining on her. She had never felt so sore, or perhaps not since the first week that she had been forced to share a soul with Geralt in the first place. "It's him. Let's go in." Ryokō let out a sigh of relief and opened the door for her. Karasuki stepped in first, like a sodden sickened cat from the streets. Her grey sweatshirt dripped all over the clean dry floor, her leather shoes were falling apart from water damage, and her long skirt acted as a small cloud, raining droplets into a pool that followed her as she made her way to Gades' table. She coughed and stabilized herself on the tall golden staff, ignoring the odd looks she was getting by being escorted in by a monk. "Good evening, Mr. Saito." She wiped a hand over her face, trying to clear the water from her wan face. Ryokō placed a hand on her shoulder, narrowing his eyes on Gades. Something seemed off with him, but Karasuki had no other options around. He spoke on her behalf, sounding professional and confident, "Mr. Saito. I am Ryokō Rikuden, Karasuki's summon, no da. She is in grave need of a friend. Can she count on you?"

Karasuki looked apologetic and meek before Gades, mouthing 'I'm sorry'. She didn't mean to burden him. If only she had brought her iLac with her, she could have reached out to Gaia, Kite, Ryo, hell even, Masha. It was a coincidence the Ring of Broken Souls had been so close to the Rose Gardens, and so close to Gades' home.

The Coming Storm(Karasuki) Empty Re: The Coming Storm(Karasuki)

Post by Gades Saito 17th May 2019, 12:14 am

Gades continued to much on his scone while he drank his coffee, while he was a respected painter and member of the community here in Rose Garden no one knew about the other life he led as the dark mage Gekido but thankfully most of the time his jobs were not bloody but more often then not reconnaissance which he was much more skilled at. With his natural ability as an incubus it was always easy to get to his assigned targets and even easier to loosen their tongue with his skills. Since right now he was off he was just relaxing and was going to paint and study a bit while enjoying the coming storm. Gades had made sure that he was stocked up on food in case this storm went on for a while. He finished his scone as he considered what else he needed to do before the rain got any worse, he then heard the sound of the door opening to the coffee shop and the sound of rain hit his ears before he saw a familiar person approaching him and he blinked as he took another drink off coffee. If this was who he thought it was it was surprising to see her with such a large storm on the horizon.

As the figure got closer it was clear to Gades that is was his friend Karasuki he had met a few times before.the Incubus had to admit she looked very worse for the wear and it made him wonder what had just happened to her to cause her to be in such a state. when she greeted him he smiled a bit and bowed his head in greeting”hello Miss Karasuki its been a while” he said before he saw her summon approach and he seemed wary of him which did not surprise the dark mage at all. He was not known as a dark mage but he didn’t hide that he was an incubus and that often got him some heat so the summon narrowing his eyes didn’t phase him much. He was then told that Karasuki was in dire need a friend and asked if she could count on him. At those words the incubus became serious and nodded to the summon.”Yes she can count on me” he said before he finished his coffee and he put his cup down before standing. Just a glance at Karasuki showed she needed to rest and the Incubus glanced at her then to the summon. “she needs to rest my apartment is not very far away” he said as he would gently pick Karasuki up Bridal style since she seemed to be struggling to walk and he would head towards the door.

One he was near the door he would unfurl his white wings from under his clothes as they went thru them and while gained a few looks the Incubus just ignored them and he brought them up over his head and over Karasuki so they would be covered while they headed towards the apartment.”you must have really done a number on yourself miss Karasuki “ he said as the rain pelted down on his wings. It didn’t take them long to reach a very nice looking apartment building. The man by the door would open it for the three and Gades would flick his wings off before retracting them into himself.moving inside the Incubus prince would hit the lacrima button and an elevator would open before he would step in with her before he would use his tail to touch a special key on the elevator with a small lacrima crystal to send it up to the top floor of the building. Once it reached up to the top Gades smiled a bit as the elevator opened up into a beautiful Penthouse. It as luxurious and elegant with lots of room and while the penhouse was white there were many pictures that Gades had drawn himself.”Here lets get you dry and get some blankets if you catch a cold its not going to help you” he said as he stepped inside and removed his shoes fluidly while he caught sight of the rain pelting the glass of his windows.

The Coming Storm(Karasuki) Empty Re: The Coming Storm(Karasuki)

Post by Karasuki 17th May 2019, 5:04 am

Karasuki shivered a little, looking around embarrassed at the other patrons of the cafe. She looked and felt more out of place than she ever had before, and in front of a guy with wings, that was saying something. Ryokō placed a hand on her arm to steady her as Gades finished his coffee. The monk was less than impressed with him, despite that he said he could be relied upon, as given the situation, the artist still found time to finish his drink. Ryokō cleared his throat impatiently, almost about to speak on the somewhat obvious need of his contract holder, wondering if a polite but more direct nudging was needed. Gades stood up and informed them both that his apartment was nearby and lifted Karasuki up. Ryokō lifted his brows but said nothing, noting that he lifted her without asking permission of the lady herself. Given the situation, it seemed the usually shy Karasuki didn't have the energy to debate it anyway.

As they walked towards the door, the monk summon took his large golden staff back and adjusted his pointed hat over his head. He murmured a cordial apology to the others in the shop for the disturbance before following Gades and Kara back out into the rain. Karasuki was finally arguing it seemed, speaking up to Gades, "I appreciate it, but I can still walk. I can manage." It didn't appear like Gades took her insistence seriously and Ryokō couldn't help but shake his head and smile at the woman's stubbornness. She was no teenager in age, but she was as reckless and stubborn as one sometimes. Ryokō listened quietly, following behind Gades at a slower gait, trying not to eavesdrop but feeling the protective urge to stay close to Karasuki. Karasuki answered him softly, barely audible through the rain, "I think I made a mistake. I can explain it later, I just want to sleep now." Gades sounded concerned, using his large white wings like an umbrella and the monk noted the act of kindness and generosity with a curt nod to himself. Karasuki might have been right to trust the incubus, but then something still felt off. Ryokō admitted privately to himself that he didn't know all the ways of this world and let Gades lead on to a clean and well designed building with a guard outside, or perhaps a butler.

Again, Ryokō didn't know much about this world, aside from what Kara had told him. Ryokō slipped his sandals off in the doorway and entered the elevator with the pair. He felt strangely, riding up the mechanical marvel to the luxurious apartment setting. "Fascinating place you have here, no da. It seems well protected." Karasuki's eyes were closed, having fallen asleep in Gades capable arms. Ryokō has seen that sleepy look before, the woman spending time with her summons as friends, seeking out the comfort of the monk's own arms before. She really did relax and trust Gades, from whatever experience they shared. The monk felt a gnawing guilt at his own distrust of the man. Once inside the apartment, Ryokō placed his staff and shoes by the door. "I think she's out," he informed Gades. Ryokō snapped his fingers and his entire body flickered, as if half fading away.

He instantly dried Karasuki and her clothing, leaving Gades an exhausted and asleep woman in his arms. "I don't have much time left here, no da. I should have returned to my world hours ago. Please, listen closely. What I have to say is very much secret, but very much important." He rested one hand over the other gesturing to the nearby couch, a silent motion that suggested Gades let Karasuki down for the moment. After he did so, if he chose to do so, Ryokō would continue. His tone was usually light and playful, but the monk was extremely serious, his eyes narrowed on the incubus.

"When Karasuki was very young, she discovered that she had the gift of a Silvertongue. Her magic is based on reading characters, beloved characters like myself, from books, no da," Ryokō started. He felt a sad look cross over his expression, noting that he himself was only a character and his entire world fit inside the delicate pages of some script was a desolate thought. Ryokō pushed it away and continued on, "In an effort to save a character friend of her's, she tried to read out a powerful villain. A pirate, by the name of Geralt, the scourge of the seas. I won't go much into details on his history, but her magic was not advanced enough to handle such a summon. Her soul was split, fusing with Geralt's own, no da. She has lived with this villain ever since. Until three night's ago." Ryokō looked over Gades, hoping he was following the tale. Most people would get lost at the idea of summoning characters from books or talk of souls. Ryokō didn't know where Gades stood on these matters. He paused for any questions or comments, and then moved on.

"Karasuki learnt of an ancient artifact, the Ring of Broken Souls. It was said to be kept outside of Rose Garden, so she went to find the ring, no da. She wanted to study it, maybe use it to separate herself from Geralt and return him to his book. She summoned me to help with travel and when we arrived, Kara touched the ring. An explosive shock appeared, no da, and Karasuki went flying back. Geralt got himself a new body, taking a part of Karasuki's soul with him. It took us three days to travel here on foot, her condition worsening every day. I am afraid she has some sort of soul sickness." Ryokō looked up at Gades, "Do you understand? Karasuki's life is in danger every moment she spends without her soul complete. Can you find a way to prolong her life's energy, no da? At least until she can find Geralt and restore her soul?"

The Coming Storm(Karasuki) Empty Re: The Coming Storm(Karasuki)

Post by Gades Saito 17th May 2019, 4:35 pm

Gades shook his head as Karasuki seemed to argue against him carring her”Karasuki your bearly managing to move around you need rest” he said softly. He could tell easily that she was exhausted and she needed help.as the sky continued to pour down rain. As they stepped into the penthouse the summon then dried Karasuki off as Gades would lay her down on the couch so she could rest a bit and the summon mentioned that his place seemed well proteted.”Well when you pay for such luxury you want to make sure that your home will be safe. To be fair this is my apartment in Fiore I have a bigger home in Minstrel perhaps I should show Karasuki that sometime” he commented. When ryoko mentioned that Karasuki was out Gades simply nodded in agreement. The summon then went on to explain why the young woman was in such a state and that she had a special skill that was unique and she had made a very dangerous mistake which caused her soul to be fused with a villain in an effort to save a friend. It seemed that she had until recently been dealing with this second soul .

It was then revealed that Kara had managed to find an artifact that had suddnely split Karasuki from Geralt and caused him to get a new body along with a bit of her Soul. This caused the woman to be un her current state as each day she had traveled she had gotten worse and worse until she was in the state she was in right now.” I understand and I believe that I can help her. I have some knowledge of how to remedy such a thing due to the nature of my species. Rest assured I will keep her alive and healthy until she finds this other being” he assured the summon as he glanced over at Karasuki. Once the summon had dispersed he would sighed before he locked the elevator so no one could go up to his floor and he went to his room to change into some move comfortable clothes that were not wet. The incubus changed into a dark blue silk shirt and a silky pair of pajama pants as well. he also got out a pair for Karasuki as well though he was sure they might be a bit big on her. He also got out a lacrima. While he would help her he would also make her useful to him as well. this wasent him being malicious it was just in his nature.

He would gently put the clothes close to her on the couch and he put the lacrima on a table beside her before he touched it and it would start playing a soothing and hypnotic tune.while he was immune to it the music held powerful and subtle subliminals that would go into Karasukis mind filling her with the desire to trust him absolutely and that she could depend on him and rely on him.the subliminals were so subtle that she couldn’t catch them in the music and her subconscious would catch them and latch onto them.there was also another set inside the music as well that made one want to listen to the music more and also made it easier for said person to be entranced. While he let the music play the Incubus decided to make a cup of tea and start working on the remedy that Karasuki would need. He went to a small room near his kitchen that was locked with incubus magic and he stepped inside to get a few herbs that he would need to mix before he heard the water was ready and he made a cup of breakfast tea for himself and the remedy for Karasuki as he moved back over to her by the couch and he set the cup before her before he sat down and started to read a book while he would sip his tea and wait for her to wake. Internally he was smirking a bit since he knew the subliminals would do there work well and with enough time would imbed in her mind so deep that they would be impossible to remove.

The Coming Storm(Karasuki) Empty Re: The Coming Storm(Karasuki)

Post by Karasuki 20th May 2019, 4:57 pm

Ryokō watched him with suspicious eyes. It wasn't that he didn't trust Gades; it was that in her condition, the monk summon was so worried that he wouldn't have trusted anybody. Finally, sensing his unwelcome after being assured that Gades would care for the purple haired mage, Ryokō exhaled. He lifted his hat back onto his head, his entire being flickering in the light. He had been in this material world for far too long and could not stay any longer, especially with Karasuki asleep. He tilted the hat in farewell as he lifted it over his head, "I leave her to you then. Contact her guild leaders soon if you can. They too may be able to help." As Ryokō tucked his head into his sugegasa, he began to vanish, slipping away from the world as the hat fell to the floor. He whispered, "I hope you know what you are doing, Kara," and then his hat poofed into a small grey cloud of smoke and disappeared.

It was only an hour before Karasuki awoke, her body seizing painfully twice before relaxing. She grimaced and clutched at her torso with both arms. Her weary eyes opened and she blinked a few times until she seemed to adjust to the aching in her body again. "Wh-where am I?" She hadn't remembered getting to a couch in a big apartment. She thought to herself, trying to recall the events, finding the emptiness of her head strange and almost lonely. When she thought to herself, no voice was there to judge her, taunt her, or assure her. Karasuki coughed looking up at Gades and then seeing a cup of tea before her. She assumed it was for her and grasped the cup with a shaky grip, bringing it to her lips and drinking it. Luckily, it was still a little bit warm. "Did Ryokō leave then? I'm sorry to inconvenience you. I wanted to talk with you first but I guess I was just so tired." It was easy to look in her eyes and see that she was still tired. With part of her soul gone, her physical and magical strength were sapped and her usually lovely face lacked its lively color and the delightful thrum of the magic inside was softened now.

Karasuki knew she had pushed herself too far. Her eyes glanced around the room and it seemed that her over the shoulder bag was beside the couch, so she leaned back into the cushions and took another sip of the tea. The drink warmed her and lowered the pain she felt all over her limbs and Kara wondered if it was magically enhanced by Gades. "I owe you so much already, but mind if I stay the night? I swear I'll leave come morning. I can find a train or something to my guild."

As the summon told him that he would leave him with her and to try and contact her guildmaster when he could since they could help as well. The incubus nodded as he watched the Ryoko vanished and he settled down into his book. As he saw Kara suddenly jerk and seize the incubus turned the lacrima near of off and then pocketing it before she then woke and asked where she even was.”Your in my penthouse in Rose Garden “ he explained as he took a sip of his tea.”you were in very bad shape when you met me in the coffee shop so I brought you here to rest and recover miss Karasuki” he added as she took a sip of the tea." Yes he left you in my care since he seemed tired from being in this world so long, and do not worry its no inconvenience you were tired and needed sleep so I allowed you to rest while I made some tea for myself and a remedy for you.” He told her as he noticed she was very ill still and would need time to recover that much was clear just from the feel of her magical power.

As she asked to stay the night and that she would leave in the morning the Incubus just smiled a bit.”your already welcome to stay I even put out some pajamas for you though leaving is going to be impossible for a few days, the storm that is rolling in will be going on for 3 days straight and movements going to be hard. Add onto that that you need rest and the treatment I have has to be freshly made your going to need some time’ he explained. “I can get you healthy again and keep you healthy but its not going to be easy since I need to make it. Its special since it’s a trick my race has with certain herbs” he added hoping she understood.”For now just rest and recover. Ill make sure you get better as quick as I can” he assured her with a smile. It was true she wasent going anywhere and that wasent a bad thing she could be a useful source of information for him as well and he knew that she was recovering so it put him in the best position to deal with this.”Are you hungry or would you rather sleep Karasu if so you can sleep in the spare room instead of the couch” he offered not knowing if she had much of an appetite. Gades know he could deal with either one.

The Coming Storm(Karasuki) Empty Re: The Coming Storm(Karasuki)

Post by Karasuki 25th May 2019, 7:23 am

Karasuki took another sip of the tea, or what she had thought was tea. It warmed her fingers faintly and she closed her eyes. It was good that Ryokō has returned to his book. The people there also needed him and bringing him here had the power to change the story's events, which in turn could lead to Ryokō's demise. He had prolonged his stay longer than any other summon had, longer than Karasuki had thought possible. She could only hope he was safe now, knowing it would be a few days before she could call on him to check on that herself. When Gades called the tea a remedy which needed to be made fresh on the daily, she frowned. It might treat her symptoms, and for that she was grateful, but being unable to travel far would make getting back to her guild for aid or looking for Geralt a very real challenge. She let out a soft sigh, noting that as she was currently, the choices didn't matter. It would take a couple of days to try to regain her magical power and her physical strength.

"I appreciate the place to stay and the remedy. How did you know what to make? Have you seen a Soul Sickness before?" Karasuki questioned, drinking down a large gulp of the remedy-tea. "Three days is a long time. This storm, I hope it isn't because of me. Or Geralt. I suppose if I am going to be confined to a bed for a few days, I should take you up on the offer of your spare room. I don't mean to be so much trouble for you, but I just didn't know who else to ask in Rose Garden." Karasuki closed her eyes, starting to fall asleep. Her head was spinning, her chest ached, her stomach burned, and her limbs felt as if they were weighed down. The warm remedy would help, if Gades said it would then she believed him. But nobody felt healthy after an illness immediately. She twitched and opened her eyes with a start, waking herself. The purple haired mage finished off the cup of warm tea-remedy and set it on the table gently. She moved her legs over the side of the couch, one hand reaching for what looked like oversized blue silk pajamas.

She tried to take a stand, clothing in hand, swaying like an elder without their cane. Her legs screamed for her to sit back down but she set her jaw. "W-where is the room? I think I should rest if you don't mind. I feel like I am about to fall over." Her eyes closed and her glasses slid down her nose. Karasuki corrected them with one hand and then took a half step to the side, trying to keep her balance steady.

As Gades was asked how he knew what to make and if he had seen Soul Sickness before which made the Incubus shake his head.” No I have never seen such an ailment but my species tends to feed of peoples life force but its not a requirement but since we do tend to do such things we developed remedys and medicines to ensure that people didn’t die after crazy night if you will” he joked at the end since he knew his species were known for their carnal nature.” Even if I am not the type to do it my family made sure I had a good education since my father wants me to take the throne someday” he explained to her. Kara then mentioned that three days was a long time and worried that the storm was her own fault, she also worried that she would not be able to do much untill she was better and she took him up on his offer of his spare room. At that the Incubus Prince merely smiled softly and shook his head. He didn’t see it as trouble since he made a good chunk of money for a living along with his guild work and his family wealth.

this storm couldn’t have been from the two of you it was forecasted a few days ago so it couldn’t have been a result of what happened.” He explained before he took a sip of tea and continued.”Its no trouble Kara I have plenty of things here and I don’t mind the company. Also I’ll make sure you don’t get bored in bed I’ll spend time with you and I have some books you can read as well” he assured her. He had plenty to do here and while his lacrima would be effective while she slept while she was awake he had other ways of bending and shaping her mind. He had books and a lacrima tv for her to watch as well should she need it. As she stood and took the clothing she suddenly stumbled and he moved to help her out supporting her and guided her towards the spare room he head.”Here its this way” he said as he would help her move into the room. It was just as nice as the other rooms. A large bed with dark blue silk sheets and blankets, there were two night stands on either side of the bed and a nice lacrima tv in front of the bed as well. Gades would help her get to the bed. “do you need a moment to get changed or to do you Need some Help Karasu” he said adding a little nickname at the end. He was not trying to be perverted be he also knew she was very weak so if she needed help he would offer his services.

The Coming Storm(Karasuki) Empty Re: The Coming Storm(Karasuki)

Karasuki was careful to note how the prince spoke of his kind in a distanced manner. As if his kind fed on the life force of others, but perhaps not him specifically. She felt a small bundle of nerves growing in her gut, the uneasiness as she realized how weak she was and just how much she was trusting Gades without really knowing him. They bumped into each other a couple of times, he had helped her out before, but that did not make him a good person necessarily. Karasuki felt as if she had to trust him, and with the missing hole of her soul that Geralt had left behind, his betrayal in abandoning her a few nights ago, the woman didn't know that trust would come so easy. Trusting Gades felt right and she hadn't any other choice, but beyond her feelings did she have any justifications for the trust she placed in this prince? Karasuki supposed that if he wished her harm, harm would have already come her way. For now, her feelings might be all she had but they were enough.

Even with her her intelligent brain telling her to be wary, she had to admit that him sharing that truth and using what he knew to provide care for her as she dealt with this Soul Sickness was proof that for now, his intentions were good. It was also a relief to know that the rainstorm passing through was a coincidence and not her doing. Three days with Gades ought to provide her with significant intel and perhaps then she would be able to travel back to her guild. Without her iLac on her, she wondered if anyone might be worried of her disappearance. Karasuki gave a nod, "I appreciate the kindness, Mr. Saito. Your company is good company after all." Karasuki addressed him as politely as she always had.

Karasuki thanked him again as he helped her to the spare room. Once in there she set the pajamas upon the bed top, resting a hand upon the bed itself. "I'm fine to dress myself. I'll just change and get some rest. See you in the morning then?" The purple haired female asked, trying to courteously give herself a chance to just get the rest she needed. She had gone three days with missing a piece of her soul, her magic was drained from all the summoning she had been doing, and with the poor weather ongoing, sleep while foot-travel was necessary hadn't been an option to her.

Gades Nodded and smiled a bit as Kara thanked him for the kindness before addressing him formally which made the royal incubus shake his head.”Please Karasu call me Gades no need to be formal” he explained since he honestly felt he didn’t need to be formal with her so she didn’t need to do it to him. As they went over to the spare room she told him that she was ok to dress herself and she would rest up asking if she would see him in the morning. Gades nodded to her. “of course Karasu Ill see you in the morning rest well” he said as he would move out of the room and close the door to let her sleep. As he moved back to his chair he pulled a remote out of his pocket and put it beside him as he took a drink of his tea and would start watching some show on a lacrima tv. After a bit the incubus would hit a button on the remote after he was sure that Karasuki would be asleep. It would trigger a lacrima inside the room that would play the same subliminals as before but to the sound of rain which would be masked perfectly by the by the storm outside that could be heard from all the rooms in the penthouse.

Since Kara would be asleep from much longer it would allow it to sink into her head a bit easier. They would make her even more comfortable with him and trust him even more. Once he got the chance he would do even more then that since he knew how to mess with mind easily and he would take every chance he got to do so. After a finishing his tea he went to his bed room slipped off his pajama top before he let sleep claim him
