Catch that Bat [Riohorse and Giyo Graphfey]

Freya sat on a bench just on the outskirts of the Spooky Forest yawning and stretching her arms. She was back here again thankfully with her sleeves repaired after the flower incident. She looked around waiting for Giyo they were doing their first job together and she was pretty excited, she hoped the job wouldn't be to hard they just needed to find a bat. Freya hoped he wouldn't be late as they needed to meet the young boy who'd been caught letting the bat go. She laughed they must have really hated their headmaster. Freya glanced up seeing a sullen looking high schooler walking over, she waved at him putting on a friendly smile "You must be here to help find the bat", the boy nodded and turned his back to her ignoring her. Freya narrowed her eyes and sighed hoping Giyo wouldn't be too long. She wondered why they would have chosen Spooky Forest, of all places to release the bat it gave her the shivers.

Freya sighed poking the boy in the back "So where'd you release this bat" the boy shrugged and Freya threw her hands in the air exasperated. "Whatever I'll get Giyo to talk to you" she said hearing the sounds of approaching feet and the wings of Giyo's pet exceed. She said up and waved "GIYOOOOO~" she yelled standing up on the bench and waving not sure whether he'd seen them yet. The boy raised a brow at her, before making a disapproving sound causing Freyas snake to chuckle. Freya rolled her eyes and sat back down crossing her legs and waiting for her boyfriend to get here.

A line of lazy footsteps would be heard echoing the grounds nearby Spooky Forest’s entrance.”Man,why should I really do this??” Sighing ,Giyo complained on how hard it was to him to had to wake up early in the morning after such a tiring night yesterday.Letting out his second sigh,Giyo had hoped that he would’ve to do this mission the day after.Surely the red cat with wings looked happy and all.”Redt,you looked so happy.I’m afraid I’ll gonna have to curse you for that.” With a teasing tone in his lazy voice,Giyo turned his glance at the cat.”Well..today’s the day we would meet Freya again,and that snake of hers really is attractive to me..I kinda fell in love with that sexy hissing creature.” Giyo gasped at Redt’s unstoppable sentence,as the cat continued humming afterwards.” Sighing,Giyo wonders if a cat and a snake could really make it in a relationship.Imagining how their offspring would’ve look like,Giyo chuckled a bit.”Well,a snake with wings wouldn’t look too bad.” Giyo didn’t want to imagine a more scary version of their mixed breeds,so he stayed focus on the random image he had just formed.

Before they even reached the entrance,a girl is seen waving her hands and shouting stuffs.It looked inappropriate for the girl to do that,but it also seemed that she was referring to both of them.The blue haired mage fixed his blurry sleepy eyes,trying to get a better view of the girl.”Wait that’s…” Giyo didn’t complete his sentence,but Redt did.”FREYA!” With a shout full of excitement,the cat flew with high speed towards the girl,hoping his companion’s girlfriend would bring along the lovely snake.Giyo catched up,and hugged Freya upon his arrival.”So..what’s on?” Giyo asked his lovely girlfriend,pointing to the boy turning his back from them.He looked like he was in a bad mood,and that he was seemingly acting arrogant.

Freya grinned, they had recognised her she stopped jumping and squinting as a red blur flew towards her. "Woah slow done Redt your gonna...HIT ME!" she yelled narrowly missing the excited cat by jumping off the bench hurridly. She hugged Giyo back laughing as he asked about Mr Antisocial over there. Freya nodded "Right well, he's gonna lead as to the spot he and his friends released the bat" she said. Freya pointing to the boy and shooed him off as he starting to walk into the Spooky Forest. She kicked a pile of leaves out of the way finding the silence awkward, scowling as some of the leaves got caught in her hair. She sighed bumping into the back of the boy, as he stopped "Oof...oops sorry, oh this is the place then" Freya peered around curiously "Thanks well umm I guess you can just sit on that log over there and we'll take care of the rest" she said smiling at the kid, looking over at Giyo.

Freya started by looking around in a nearby cave squinting in the dark up at any ledges the bat could be hiding. Freya sighed no bats hiding in the caves. She cupped her hands to her mouth "COOOEEEE!!!" she yelled into the cave giggling to herself, nope no bats came shreiking out. Freya turned to leave the cave when four menacing growls sounded behind her. Wolves. Ah they were the kind that didn't attack unless provoked well, she had obviously provoked them by yelling into the cave. She probabaly should have checked if there was anything living in the cave first. Freya back out of the cave slowing her eyes narrowed "No way are you guys tearing my newly repaired clothes, but I don't think it would be wise to attack" she said baring her dragonslayer canines.

'Monster Dice' :

It was a fast,short reply coming from Freya about the boy following her tedious hug.It was one of those soft embracement Giyo would get,and he loved the hug Freya gave.The blue mage wanted to give her a good kiss on the lips,but considering there’s others around those two,he canceled his intention.The kid really looked like he was in a bad mood,which was probably true.He was caught doing bad deeds,after all.For the kids,it’s so not cool to get caught,but well,Giyo blames for the kid’s probable sucking in running away from detection.”Well,kid,when you wanna do something bad,make sure you can get away with it.” Giggling,Giyo patted the boy’s head,which added up to his annoyance.”Stop that,mage.My head is not a place for those filthy hands of yours.” The kid’s rude reply didn’t cause Giyo anger,but instead he chuckled at the response.”Haha..kids.” Remarking the immature side of kids,Giyo sighed,turning around to face the lovely maiden of his.”Let us go,then.”

The walks they went through was a boring one.There were nothing to say about nor make a joke about,as the place spooks the heck out of not Giyo,but maybe the kid.As they walked,Giyo laughed at Freya’s activity,kicking the leaves and all.The way she made a minor fuss about leaves getting on her hair made her look cute,and managed to pull some chuckle out of the blue mage.Meanwhile,Redt flew around the snake,to which the snake got annoyed to.

Finally,they reached a place,a slightly open one.The kid said it was the place where he had released the bat which belonged to someone he didn’t want to know about.”Well..here it is.” Freya asked the boy to sit on a log,wanting him to stay away from any probable danger.A series of howls coming from the cave Freya had echoed her voice in indicated the presence of wolves.Freya looked like she was about to get into action,but Giyo grabbed a hold of her shoulder.”No..it might be best to leave them be,right my love?” Giyo pulled Freya away from the cave’s opening and the howling stopped.It was better that way, as Giyo thought.”Well,let’s go somewhere else.The bat’s not here.” Remarking that the bat might had flew somewhere else,Giyo led the small team in search of the bat,making every steps with much caution.

Freya turned to look as Giyo grasped her shoulder "H..Huh you sure about leaving them be I mean they might tail us" she said looking uncertain as she stepped away from the cave following Giyo. Freya gave a sigh looking around for a pale white shape to no avail "I wish there was away we could find the bat easily" she said sighing wondering how to catch a bat. She pulled out two apples tossing one to Chev and crunching on her own realising suddenly they'd left the kid. She bulked turning around slowly breathing a sigh of relief as she saw him trailing behind them hands in pockets. "Hey Redt why don't you scout ahead" she suggested raising her head and sniffing around not detecting the scent of a bat. She scrunched up her nose gagging as the smell of something rotten drifted her way she covered her nose with her sleeve looking apologetically at Giyo she wasn't sure whether he could smell it or not and she must look rather weird.

The boy made a noise and Freya turned around wondering what it was when the boy spoke up "It's a fruit bat so you could lure it with fruit" he suggested before going back to look at the ground. Freya looked down mornfully at her finished apple, she hoped Giyo still had some left as she hadn't thought to pack anymore food. She turned around "Wait don't finish that apple!" she said waiting to hear the crunch that meant he'd finished it, squinting her eyes shut then tentavily peeking out looking for the apple.

Apples.As Giyo kept thinking to hatch a plan using apples,a sigh of disappointment slipped out of Freya’s bright lips.As he turned around to face the green haired maiden,Giyo said ; “Well now,what’s wrong?” He wasn’t worried,but at least he should ask.”Oh I remember,the apple.” Recalling the moment Freya shouted not to finish the apple,Giyo took something out of his small backpack.”Well,I know Redt would get crazy hungry,but well..” Giyo offered Freya’s hands an apple,untouched and bright red.It looked attractive,and surely the fruit bat won’t be able to resist.”Now I know how the whole plan would be..” As Giyo chuckled,he pinched the gloomy Freya’s cheek,wanting to cheer her up.”Aww come on now,smile little girl.” With such teasing tone,Giyo caressed Freya’s hair,messing it up.The boy stood behind them,looking disgusted.A sigh of disapproval went out of his mouth,and Giyo knew he was not liking the view.”Well,blame yourself for not having a girlfriend.” As Giyo chuckled,Redt flew past him,looking down and low.”Redt,what’s wrong?” Redt shook his head.”That snake..is a male.” Giyo burst into laughter as he told Giyo about the snake Redt admired.”Ahahaha!! Sorry sorry,I can’t hold it.Pfft..” Still with slight chuckle,Redt looked with such annoyance and pissed off.”Now now,calm down.” Smiling,Giyo grabbed Redt,and put him on his head.

After that,they started building a small trap.It was enough for a bat,but surely not for a wolf.The apple looked tempting.Done,Giyo and his company hid in some bushes,observing.First,a wolf came,but it ignored the trap.Then,a bat showed up.”Is that it?” The boy shook,and Giyo didn’t want it to mess up the trap.He threw a rock,and the bat ran away.”There,wait.”
