The sky was a bright and beautiful blue over Magnolia. Finally, the fight had finished. Savage Skull had been thoroughly whipped by the Allied Legal Wizard Forces. Though it had came at a price, like any victory did. There were wounded everywhere, and the great town of Magnolia was in shambles. Thankfully, Fairy Tail was completely unscathed, so it's many rooms and foyer were converted into living spaces as the town began to rebuild. Alye had decided to stay to finish helping the wounded. That, and it was good seeing Heero once more. They rarely spent any time together, so she would take all she could get.

The Storm Wizard had been preparing to help the cleanup effort of the city when Alye felt an immense magic power behind her that made her spine tingle. Before Alye even turned around, she had thought it was Heero, but when she did move, she found that it was actually Fairy Tail's Guildmaster, Leonard behind her.

Standing with a friendly smile, Alye nodded hello to the man. "Is there anything you need of me, Master Leonard?", she said formally.

Alye tilted her head to the side as a polite smile emerged on her lips. Master Leonard was nicer than many other guildmasters that Alye had heard of, though the only other guildmaster she'd met so far was her own, and he was nice as well. Mysterious, but nice. "Oh, I couldn't ask anything from you at a time like this, not when everyone is so busy! I will be taking my leave after the cleanup of the city is over and all the wounded are tended to. Once all this is over, people need to mourn their losses. I don't want anyone worrying about a stranger during a trying time like that", the girl said as her white locks glinted in the Magnolia sunlight.

The smile Alye wore was fake. Quite, in fact. Of course, Alye really didn't want to burden anyone with her presence, but what it mainly boiled down was that Alye couldn't stand the sight of death. Innocent death, to be exact. To those that deserve it, Alye will not bat an eye, but for those unstained souls that were merely caught in the crossfire... Whose lives were ripped from the world, their families shattered by their absence. By the skies, Alye couldn't bear to see it.

Also, there was another reason. During this war where everyone put their lives on the line, Alye watched as her brother fought a battle she could have gladly helped him with. She was...weaker than him. She knew that now. He was much, much stronger than her. How could she call herself his big sister when she couldn't even protect him from the evils of the world? How could she dare call herself the oldest of the Reyold family when the youngest was fighting all the hard battles? No. This called for training. Alye needed to become stronger. Drastically. Heero was not going to surpass her.

That was absolute.

Master Leonard is a very charming man, indeed. The thought quipped through her mind for just one moment before she nodded to the Guildmaster. She turned around and grabbed the pack she had been preparing and lifted it onto her shoulder. She nodded to Master Leonard and she began walking through the hallways of the guildhall. The two walked along in comfortable silence as sunlight flitted through the windows adorning the sides of wall, giving breathtaking views of the ocean beyond. The light gleamed off Alye's hair and eyes as she walked on, skirting to the side towards Leonard ever so often when someone walked by.

After a little bit of walking, they came to the staircase that showcased the main entrance, bar, seating areas, and upper levels. Alye's serene blue eyes looked over the Fairy Tail mages as they milled to and fro. The emotion... She could feel it almost as if it were a person touching her arm. Many were sitting there, staring right into their drinks. This wasn't the Fairy Tail from before. These people had lost some of their closest friends...family. Speaking of family, Alye looked around for Heero's spiky blue hair, but it would seem he wasn't in. A slightly sad gleam came to her eyes as she realized this. She did want to see her brother before she left, but he was probably busy. Realizing that she was idling - not wanting to waste the Guildmaster's time - she began to descend the steps. The air in the foyer was hot and sticky, not comfortable at all. As Alye took a step downwards, the temperature followed, the humidity in the air suddenly gone in an instant. She had done it to try to and bring even a little bit of comfort to the ailing Fairies, but she hadn't realized that it was going to get her noticed.

When she and Leonard had came to the end of the steps and were starting to head for the door, a male Fairy Tail member came up to them both. "Wait, please!", he called out as he stepped forth. He bowed to Leonard out of respect before he addressed Alye. "I...think I can speak of the majority of us when I say that without your help, a lot of us might not even be here today. We wanted to thank you for everything you've done for us", he said, a serious look in his eyes. Alye blinked in surprise. Her crystal blue eyes looked around and noted almost every Fairy was looking at her with a beaming smile. Even through all that pain, they smile... They can still smile... That was it! That was the true power of Fairy Tail! Alye realized it then and there. No matter what was thrown at them, no matter the amount of pain and suffering they bear, they can - and will - smile. Alye was truly honored. "Though you're from another guild, you are a member of Fairy Tail now! If you or your guild ever needs anything, just call, and we will come running! Right, Master?", the man said, giving her a thumbs up.

These people were so kind, so compassionate. Alye couldn't help but remember a time when she would not think a place like this even existed. When all she knew was fear and despair. Fear of herself, her magic, for the people around her. Through her Guildmaster she was able to overcome those feelings, but after seeing a place like this, Alye knew she was going to be alright. How could she not? She had so many wonderful friends behind her. Truly, her brother had found a good home.

"And you can trust us with anything it is you feel. And trust me, I sense that there's something bothering you. Rest assured we're glad, actually more than glad, to help you". Alye turned to the master of Fairy Tail but looked away, unable to look him in the eye. "So my dear, what is it bothering you?" Alye sighed just a bit. She had hoped to have held it back, but it seemed that he sensed her uneasiness quite clearly. Was she really that open of a book?

"It's nothing, reall-", she was interrupted by the door to the guildhall flying open. A frantic woman stood there with her hands on her knees as she took deep and haggard breaths. "B-Bandits...in the park! P-Please! You have to help! There are bandits...holding some children hostage in the park, demanding ransoms!" Alye's eyes widened in shock. Several members of Fairy Tail stood on their feet and volunteered to go deal with the men. However, they were silenced when a intense burst of wind rocked the room.

Alye was gone.

No rest for the wicked.

Alye appeared as a streak in the sky overhead of Magnolia as she scanned the area for the park. Her keen eyes spotted the people congregating at the park because of the commotion. She looked back towards the guildhall as she felt Master Leonard's presence becoming ever closer. He would arrive shortly, but she didn't have time to wait on him. For all they knew, the children were already...

Alye disappeared again.

"Please give them back!", a woman pleaded with three men. The men were each holding a child. The children were holding back their tears as best they could, trying to be strong for their mothers who were watching helplessly. "You got the jewels? If you do, you can have the snot noses back! If you don't, well...", his scratchy voice trailed off as the tip of his blade bit into the kid's neck. The little boy's breathing quickened as he tried to back away from the sharpened metal. The crowd began to react to the man's actions negatively, yelling for people to call Fairy Tail.

Alye began to think as well. No mere bandit group would try and attack Magnolia even after their main defence - Fairy Tail - was exhausted. Especially just three men. Something was going on here. A breeze washed over the park, sending the grass and leaves tumbling to the left before Alye appeared in front of the bandits and townspeople. She had to buy some time for Master Leonard to get here. She needed to be as careful as possible.

"Fairy Tail's here!", someone called out. The crowd began to cheer Alye on as they thought she was from their town's guild. She didn't bother to correct them. She had to concentrate. Besides, someone in the throng of people corrected them. "No, she's not from Fairy Tail. That's Heero's sister! Alye Reyold! She's the healer from Eclipse Soul!" The crowd's mood changed a bit. She heard murmurs of their words. "Can she even fight?" "I didn't see her do any fighting during the war..." "But if she's in Eclipse Soul, she's gotta be some kinda strong!" It was a bit discouraging, but Alye didn't mind. She hadn't revealed herself much during the war, preferring to help at the guildhall. "You better stay right there if you know what's good for these kids!", one of the other bandits said, causing the crowd to set their attention on the men again. Alye's eyes narrowed. She could feel Master Leonard very close. If she could just get the children in time, he could...


Alye's hand whipped into the air as a pillar of concentrated light shone over the area, blinding all that looked at it. Alye rushed forward at an insane speed. She grabbed the first child from his captives hands and set him on her back in a fluid movement as she kicked to the left and rocketed over the second child. She picked the little girl up by her shoulders and tucked her under her right arm. The white-haired woman then pushed forward and knocked the last man's knife from his hand as he was distracted and grabbed the last child with her free arm and held him close. Alye then shot backwards, holding the children as she flew. As she passed under the orb of light, she dismissed the refracted water, causing the light to die off. When it was gone, Alye could be seen in front of the crowd, holding the three children closely. Alye looked back at the bandits. If her plan had gone correctly, and her senses had been right about Master Leonard's position, he would be arriving any moment now...
