Solo Word Count: 500 Words
Group Word Count: 1000 Words
Job Location: Neutral Grounds
Job Description: A brand new device called the iLac has come out and the manufacturer is giving them away to anyone who visits the factory in Neutral Ground. Keep in mind, as soon as you step foot on Neutral Ground territory, all your magic (Primary, Secondary, Weapons, Armour, Pets, Unique Abilities, Passive Effects) is instantly shut down. But that's no problem because all you're doing is picking up your brand new iLac.
Reward: 1x iLac for everyone
iLac is a lacrima that functions like our real world cell phones. It can access lacrima-net, but CANNOT grant the user access to OOC information on other players. It can grant the user the ability to contact any other player who also owns an iLac providing that other player gave the caller their Lacrima Identification Code (phone number). The iLac also has a calendar, calculator, HP and MP tracker, stopwatch, alarm, and any other fun applications (that do not permit your character to know OOC information on another character) you can think of. It also has a Sorcerer's Weekly app installed.
The moment that she hard heard the word free, Cierra had dashed off to the Neutral Grounds as quickly as she could. The fact that her magic was nullified did not mean that much to her and the only difficulty that she had was the boring wait that seemed to go on forever. It seemed that the news of the free item had reached far and wide and so it was that she had ended up spending over an hour waiting for her turn. She wondered just how many of the things that this company must have although the girl also thought that they were nuts for giving away free ones. If it was her in their position then she would be selling them instead. Oh well, perhaps they were just being nice or maybe there was something more twisted behind it. Ah well, as long as she got what she wanted then she was happy.
Eventually, Cierra reached the the head of the queue and received an amazingly long lecture from the woman about how it worked although most of it just went over her head to be honest. Happily though, it soon came to an end and she found herself now in possession of a brand new Ilac and without a moment to waste, she soon turned and made her way out as quickly as possible, in case the company changed their minds. It was a weird job to start off with but the girl was happy that she had completed her first little adventure, even if it was little more than a simple exercise in patience. She had no doubt that there would be far more entertaining adventures in her future and she was eagerly looking forward them although she still had to visit the guild at some point and actually join, something she should have done ages ago.
For today though, she left the building with a slight skip in her step, heading off in to the sunset as a large group of people sprinted past her, in hopes of picking up an ILac too. She wished them luck as they passed and smiled brightly as her gaze turned once more to the road. The chirpy pre teen was eager to get back to travelling and the sooner that she could be off, the better. The moment she left the neutral grounds, she felt the pleasant tingle of her magic returning, which caused her smile to grow a little. It had felt a little odd without her magic sense but much to her surprise, Cierra had barely registered it. She supposed that was good in a way as the young mage had heard of those who had become obsess with magic and become completely absorbed by the feeling that it gave off. It sounded weird to her but maybe it was a dark mage thing, something that she wanted nothing to do with. Her heart was open and blessed and she hoped that it would stay that way, no matter what happened.
