In a slick sounding noise like swooping wind, Lichborne; his mask hanging off of his face from damage would swoop out of 'Heero's Shadow', his cloak flowing like an octupus in darkness as he hovered behind him, time slowed down.
Before Heero could turn around a claw composed of darkest energies reached out and latched itself around Heero's face, nails around his cheeks, and above his eyebrows. Heero's eyes would go from golden amber to a dull gray as his arms fell limp.
'Spiraling In Darkness'
'Awake'
Heero would sit up, wrapped in rags, hospital style. He'd look around, inspecting himself. Had...they won? Maybe Shuhei had taken care of Lichborne; he was...back at the Guild! Excited, he jogged through towards the main hall, bursting into it, cloth wrappings and all. Everyone was here! They'd done it! A huge grin and then smile broke onto his face as he clenched a fist and cheered audibly.
Everyone seemed to notice; and turned to look at him at once.
"What?" with fear overwhelming him; he couldn't do anything but form one word. As faces he knew, faces he loved; turned to him. With hollow, dark black holes for eyes and mouths. "W-what is this?!??!!" he took a step back, preparing to fight. But in the next moments, their skin, it fell down, their bodies. Crashed too the floor.
'Leonard's Body' Heero's eyes widened as the Guild Master's body hit the floor with a crash.
'Neko's Body' fell back through a table, splintering it. Heero stepped forward, reaching out and calling out to him. He always had something to say; what...is happening?
'Ken's Body' fell forward with a thud. All the memories he'd shared with Ken, Ken entrusting his history, his backstory to Heero, that trust. He couldn't watch his teammate die.
'Mari's Body' slouched to the side and crashed through a vase. A Dragon Slayer...falling like this? W-why? What happened?!
'Serene's Body' seemed to outstretch a hand towards Heero and fall backward, her hair flailing and wrapping around her face as her body would hit the floor with a resounding echo and bang.
"SEREEENE! NO! NOOOOO!!!" Heero actually screamed at the top of his lungs, calling her name with an immense desire. In the next moment; wraiths, ghosts, had risen. Risen from the husks of their frames. "No." Heero fell to his knees as the wraiths seem to glide towards him very slowly. "Can't be....Can't be....Can't be....Can't be..." Heero held his own pants, gripping them as he fell to his knees and rocked himself back and forth. He barely managed to scramble to his feet, and limp out of the great hall.
In the hall, Heero limped and barely pulled himself towards the room he'd woken up in. Several wraiths poured and floated in the hall behind him as he looked back; eyes brimming with fear so much he closed them until he reached the room door. He noticed a window open; and ran towards it, leaping out of it with a resounding 'crash!'. He would bounce and tumble off of the roof, skidding off of it and landing on the ground with a resounding thud.
He'd go limping off into the ruins of Magnolia. Turning around just in time to see Fairy Tail crumble before him. He could do nothing but scream in anger at the crumbling building, frustrated he fell to his knees again and watched falling on all fours now, shaking.
Suddenly, he saw a light up above. He looked up. It was Alye! She'd tell him what happened! Maybe Lich had won the battle; but she'd probably been looking for him! He stood up, running to her and embracing her as she hugged him back. For a few moments, he gripped her clothes. Reduced to the little brother he used to be, who'd stubbed his toe or scrapped his knee. Gripping her clothes desperately.
'Waffffft' the wind moved around them, and Heero looked up. Behind her, there was the Lich.
"You, are weak."
With an ear splitting scream, Heero released his arms from Alye as she was sliced in half, her eyes widening in surprise as the became dust; blowing off in the wind. Heero seemed to lean backward, and begin falling through darkness once again.
Eventually, he came to a float; Kingdom Hearts style and sat. Sat in the darkness as he gently touched the ground; sitting in the fetal position.
"I-I'm all alone...I failed." he said, hugging his knees in the darkness.
'Blink Once, Vision Blurring'
'Blink Twice, Standing Feels His Feet On the Ground'
'Blink Thrice, Environment and Noise begins pouring in all around him, the sounds of crashing; of battle.'
Heero stumbled back, shaking his head as he clutched his face. Reaching out with a hand and swiping at nothing in frustration.
"What did you to do me?!??!!" Heero was temporarily blinded, and confused. Trying to accept reality and the noise pouring back in around him. "LICHBOOOORNE!" he called out to him, knowing his was nearby as Heero swiped around, finding a nearby house to lean on as he slammed his back against it. Panting heavily.
Eventually, his vision swam back in. And he saw him; standing there, gloating.
"Y-you will pay for that." Heero walked and stood across from Lichborne. Trembling as visions from what he'd just seen plagued his mind. Lichborne seemed to summon a blade composed of screaming souls before taking one step towards Heero.
Heero, narrows his eyes and his 'Lightning Aura' ignites around him again in a fury of yellow lightning. Lichborne came at him, moving like wind. Heero would turn into Lightning streaks of yellow, skipping around as Lichborne whirled like a ghastly wraith himself. Each time he'd swipe at Heero, his blade would scream with a thousand souls. Unnerving Heero even as he formed and reformed into yellow lightning bolts to dodge.
Each scream unnerved him so much he couldn't manage a counter attack.
As Lichborne swiped at him once again, Heero would spin to his right and sizzle backwards as a lightning bolt, reappearing at a crouch; one fist on the ground as he rose again to his full height, Lightning Aura crackling all around him.
