Post by Mythica 11th February 2019, 11:48 pm

The first thing Mythica heard was the shots of incoming fire. All around her the ground exploded with mud and dirt as the plumes of fire and smoke rose from the surface, causing massive shockwave within the entire area around the girl. The force was enough to blow the girl back several feet, but thanks to her quick reflexes she was able to move mid-air and land on her feet, skidding to a halt near the edge of the cliff. She could hear them. All around her the enemies were closing in. Luckily for her, Mythica wasn't their only target. The fighting didn't stop with Mythica's inconvenient push back, however. Bullet flew directly past the girl in almost all directions, and she was lucky enough not to get hit. By the skin of her teeth, she sprinted forwards and slid on the ground, narrowly missing an incoming missile that destroyed the base of a nearby tree, causing the massive wooden plant to come crashing down! It fell directly on top of a few unfortunate souls who tried to make a run across the open plains, but thanks to the unknown attacker, their lives were ended quickly, and Mythica no longer had anyone on her tail. That didn't exactly mean she was safe though. There was still an untold amount of people all around her. All fighting for the same thing. Victory.

When Mythica got to her feet she didn't hesitate to sprint through the clouds of dust from a nearby explosion and roll to the cover of a large boulder, just as its edges were chipped off by heavy fire from an unseen opponent. She needed to think fast. Time was running short, and every second she wasted here, more and more opponents would be forced closer and closer to her position. Even she couldn't take them all on. Not in her current state anyways. How did she even end up in this situation? Well, to be perfectly honest with herself, Mythica couldn't remember. She had no idea why, but the thoughts and memories eluded her every time she tried to think back on how she ended up fighting for her life in this weird location. But NONE of that mattered now though. She could look for answers AFTER she wasted all these fools, and then hopefully find a way off this spit of land that they had the audacity to call an island. Breathing in, Mythica loaded her weapon and leaned up against the boulder, waiting for the right opportune moment to reveal herself and let out a volley of shots. Using her enhanced senses, she picked up on approaching footsteps... This was it.

Opening her eyes, Mythica quickly spun around and shot three bullets from her long guilded rifle! The bullets sang through the air and hit directly into three approaching enemies! All three fell upon the impact and cleared a small window for Mythica. She didn't waste the opportunity to take it. Rolling out from the side, she dodged another missile as the explosion boomed in her ears nearby. Another wave of smoke and flurry of crossfire passed her eyes, but she was determined. Her magic finally activated, using her enhanced speed to sprint across the chaotic battlefield. Left and right she saw multiple huddled figures all shooting from their respective covering spots, many of which didn't prove to be very useful for very long. Their bodies dropped like flies, and Mythica was happy to help with that. She summoned her second weapon and let loose all hell on anyone near her. Sprinting forwards she shot two approaching enemies in the shoulder and the head with her pistol. The one who got hit in the shoulder yelled in pain and took a knee, perfect for Mythica. She quickly sprinted forwards and leaped! Landing directly on top of the kneeling man's back, she used it to launch herself even higher into the air! Turning to fire at more people as she arched into the sky, Mythica quickly landed and rolled near the entrance of a crumbled building. Kicking in the door, the unexpected inhabitants were quickly met with her ferocity, shredding them until they were bloodied hole torn corpses on the ground. She slid across the floor towards the other entrance, just as a nearby explosion shook the entire building. Leaping outside once again and rolling in the dirt, she stopped only for a moment to aim her long ranged rifle and down an incoming enemy who attempted to drop on her from above with a zip line. Smirking, she was finally here. The waterfall...

And that's when she woke up. Mythica's eyes fluttered open slowly to the slow but steady draw of light coming through the dark curtains. It was just a dream it seemed. Too bad, she was just starting to have fun in the end. AH well, she was back in reality, and who said reality couldn't be any fun? Smirking, Mythica leaned over on the bed and saw him. Mura was right next to her, sound asleep. To any onlooker, this situation may have looked like a specific event had taken place between the two wizards... But sadly that wasn't the case... Yet.

Mythica had an idea for a job and decided to ask Mura if he'd come. However, the wizard was still sleeping when she arrived at his house, so she did the logical thing and crawled into the warm covers with him. Luckily for Mura, she had brought her pajamas. It was a nice change of pace from her usual nights. She didn't really sleep all that often to be perfectly honest, but when she did, she was plagued with the same dream. A chaotic battle, always ending right before the same water fall... She didn't know the significance of this dream, but whatever it meant it must be important. However, Mythica was still too tired to care. So instead she decided she'd just go back to sleep. Closing her eyes she faced Mura directly, and would likely be the first thing he saw whenever the morning caused him to wake.

Shaded Light [Job | Mura | Sorano] Empty Re: Shaded Light [Job | Mura | Sorano]

Post by Mura Kensho 12th February 2019, 2:22 am

… Sparks. In a black void, several sparks ignited with minimum intervals of time between each. That was just the visual part of his dream; the audial part involved a sliding, metallic collision between two objects in a fashion that could convince anyone with proper sense of hearing that two iron things clashed with each other. And since this was Mura’s dream, the case was simple; he was dreaming of swords. Not having had such a good dream since he was a C-Ranked Wizard, he dwelled deeper into the void and found himself constantly in need of blocking attacks seemingly from absolutely nowhere. He just held up his blade in parrying positions, and clash! Slash! Sparks erupted and he got pushed back by an unseen force. What was this unseen force that he was facing? Not even he knew for now, and it was weird given that this entity didn’t emit any magic power. Was he fighting an invisible man without any magic? That made no sense at all.

Safe to say, Mura’s subconsciousness kept him going. It wanted him to fight back with his katana, Harusame, and not a single time did he unleash any magic here. His subconsciousness called him to fight traditionally, reminding him of his home country Midi. It was a long time ago since he used to spar with his father and cousins, so this dream also functioned as a reminder and potion of nostalgia. And he had learned so much from them… an invisible being shouldn’t be so hard to beat for him. He proved that to himself with a quick jab with the tip of his katana, lunging it forward not even a second after his latest, successful block. Giving no time to counterattack, Mura outran the opponent’s movements and nailed the blade right at… solid matter. It was solid, because his blade was blocked immediately by what felt like a flat wall. “!” He slid the side of it to release his blade from the ineffective stance that the wall caused him to take. He still couldn’t see anything… he just swung his blade, and everything else fell in place like puzzles. He wasn’t being rational at all; he just did what was likely for him.

This stupid wall… he even laid a hand on it, and it wouldn’t budge. Whoever sparred with him earlier had stopped attacking him, because even after a couple of seconds, the shaman wasn’t cut down to pieces. This was weirder than he thought, and it ruined the monotone atmosphere of his dream. Mura started to push against the wall in an attempt to break through, but whilst leaning his shoulder and left side whilst having his legs press him forward, the wall didn’t budge a single centimeter. It was locked in place, almost unbreakable if he convinced himself of that. Who would ruin his dream like this? Also, what kind of dream was he having earlier? Since he was subconscious as dreams usually took place during slumber, rationality and all ways of thinking straight were weakened.

There was light now. The black void was illuminated by a ray, and the image changed drastically. Instead of the empty space from before, Mura now found himself on a classic, Midian maru in the middle of a raging sea with a dark-grey sky and pouring rain. He was quick to grab onto one of the ropes to prevent himself from falling over, because the scenery screamed sea adventure. Giant waves rocked the ship back and forth, side to side, and Mura wasn’t even alone. He saw but silhouettes of other people waving their mouths and saying unclear things about Wizard Saints and the war against Navrick that took place a long time ago. Why was he hearing those things? It was true that those topics were wide-spread and pretty darn famous, but it felt odd to talk about that kind of stuff in the middle of a fierce sailing. Something should put their serious natures up on the surface again-

And his wish was granted at the spot. First, it was one serpent that burst out from the bottom of the sea. Its neck was wider than the ship. That only escalated when the second serpent emerged, then the third one whose head cracked up right next to the ship and caused it to turbulent. The fourth neck rose up a little more streamlined with its neck forming an arc as it passed up the surface. Then the fifth head rose up behind the arc and darted its head over it like some dolphin. The sixth and seventh heads roes up at the same time, moving in a sort of spiral that was both oddly brilliant and incredibly packed with bad omens. Then the eighth head sprawled up from the waters as all eight heads travelled up above the view of the ocean, each head opening their jaws wide and emitting hostile roars and hisses. Its scales reflected the faint light from the moon, and a dark-blue smoke came out from its terribly poisonous jaws, covering its heads in a mysterious fog with its deep-red, winter-cherry eyes shining right through. Its back had firs and cypresses growing large enough to be spotted from the ship. Mura realized what this beast was, and he quickly moved out his hand in pure instinct. He had to grab Zirconis and merge his spirit into his body to take down a living legend, a center of several fairy tales in Midi; the eight-headed, eight-tailed dragon of the Hi River Legend…

… Zirconis was usually in his spirit ball form just like Kyuken. But Mura knew how a spirit felt by physical contact, and this felt nothing like a ghost…

… This felt squishy, but more fleshy. It also bounced by his touch a little, an effect that neither Kyuken nor Zirconis ever did. They were more solid and ‘maternal-dandelion-like’ in their touches.

His eyes opened smoothly. He had a few rings under his eyes due to how long that he had been sleeping, but he was able to enter the real world and escape his dream’s strange outcome. And by moving his head down a little, he spotted just what exactly he was touching… my god…

He had to experience it one day or another, just like all the fictional figures from the library. Accidently groping a girl in his bed definitely sounded like LV material; like an intro to a romantic novel of some sorts. However, Mura had no idea how Mythica even got into his bed, or his house for that matter! She had been in Magnolia before during the Christmas Event, and she had also… oh yeah, that was right. She knew where he lived given their Halloween adventure a few months back.

No wonder that Zirconis felt so squishy, because the spirit ball was instead a humble but ample boob. His irises and pupils faded away in pure shock, while a conversation went on in another room.

    “Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-YES!”
“You seem too happy about this newly wed lady of Mura’s.”
    “Yes, of course!”
“But don’t you worry about him?! He didn’t see any of this coming-“
“SHHHHHHH… see things on the bright side. Our shaman pal has grown up!”
“… *smacks Kyuken* YOU’RE JUST HAPPY BECAUSE THERE’S AN EASY TARGET FOR YOUR PERVERSIONS NOW!!!”
“*oww* B-BUT THAT’S A LIE! I ALSO CARE FOR MURA *gets smacked again*”
“PARTIAL?! IT’S PARTIAL OF YOUR JOY!?! YOU DAMNED CREEP!!!”

    WHEN WORDS COLLIDE

STICKS AND STONES CAN'T BEGIN TO COMPARE
While Mythica and Mura (the newlywed couple) were deep within their dreams of violence and battle, Sorano had experienced the pleasures of no such rest. Instead, her night had been a delirious mess of constant filing after an invasive herd of magical cockroaches had managed to get into the basement. Having entered one of the file storage rooms, they had shredded up many of the documents about Fairy Tail’s timeline and transaction histories, meaning that while meaningless from first glance, they could end up becoming crucial in the future. It also meant that she had to stay up all night, barely getting in a couple hours of sleep before dawn, piecing together documents and placing them back in their proper locations. As well as exterminating the cockroaches, of course. She was absolutely drained, barely having the energy to crack open her eyelids in the morning. Of course, she still had to wake up and get stuff done, however.

Having collapsed to sleep in a chair within the storage, the girl’s neck and shoulders were screaming in pain, and there were still bits of shredded paper everywhere. Not to mention she would have to install new security systems to prevent a repeat incident…oh god, this was going to be a lot of work.

Standing up, Sorano nearly fell over right away, head spinning with exhaustion before finally catching onto the wall. Next, a trembling hand fished around the folds of her skirt before finding the lacrima screen that was her iLac, awkwardly dialing a certain mage’s number. Of course, whenever there were excessive amounts of paperwork needed to be done, she knew who to go to. Mura Kensho, a very, very longtime ace of the guild and her teammate – certainly someone she could depend on, right? With his assistance, they might be able to get everything done today without she herself dying right there on the spot from overworking. That’s it. But as the device rang and rang in her hand, no response came from the typically punctual mage. How odd…

It seemed she had no other choice. Groaning through a yawn, the mage summoned a mirror before her, and attempted to brush through her hair so it didn’t look like she’d spent the night in a chair. Dusting off her slightly wrinkled clothes, the letter mage set off, hoping her eye bags didn’t scare anyone too badly.

Luck was on her side, for Mura’s home wasn’t too far from the guild hall. Located on a nice-looking street in Magnolia, the shaman’s home was reachable even in Sorano’s current condition, and she reached the abode in just a few excruciating minutes. Starting off, she would knock on the door, stifling yet another yawn with unhealthily pale fingers. Oh right. She hadn’t had breakfast yet, either. If Hoshi were here, she was certainly due for a scolding from the chipper exceed. After having attained her current position, the tabby had been nonstop fussing over her health, worrying about the stress that constant injuries and serious, important paperwork and tasks would cause the girl. Frankly, Sorano knew perfectly well that her health had been declining, but she didn’t pay it too much mind. After all, she was achieving things she had always dreamed of. Everything she had aimed for after joining Fairy Tail was falling into place, and she didn’t want to lose that positive momentum.

But alas, all good things must come to an end, and although Sorano Granon was not aware of it just yet, her happy little paradise had begun crumbling apart already. And when the guild master pushed open the door to Mura’s house after having waited longer than was natural, she would not be aware that she was solidifying the beginning of a second dark age for herself. It’s truly strange how seemingly mundane these little markers in time can be, and not even someone so learned as the girl could realize them.

Sorano pushing over the door would also mark this roleplayer’s departure from the serious and darkly speculative tone of the beginning of this post, as there are far more important topics to touch base on now. Namely, the spontaneous and highly dramatic rise of the best site ship: MURICA.

Stepping into the strangely quiet house, Sorano glanced around uncertainly, wondering if she had overstepped her boundaries. Even though this was her teammate and ace’s home, trespassing wasn’t something to be taken lightly. Mura was an easygoing guy, but even then, her moral compass pushed aside her emotionless nonchalance, causing her to slow in her tracks. About to turn around and leave out of her respect for the older teen, the letter mage would blink rapidly as a sudden explosion of auras would burst from the room down the hall. Shock, embarrassment, ecstasy… Too many emotions jumped at her, and at once the girl charged back through the house, slamming open the door to Mura’s room (before stumbling and nearly falling over. She was still pretty tired.).

What met her dark, emotionless eyes would be a scene that would be forever embedded into the depths of her brain, for such unholy action could not be experienced in any other way. Her good, law-upholding, kind, and trustworthy ace…Saint of Spirit… one of the most respected mages in the country… (and definitely, 100% a virgin…)

WHY WAS HE GRABBING SOME GIRL’S BOOB?

Her ace was sharing beds with a cute-looking girl – form her perspective, Mythica looked around her own age which was terribly awkward for the youth – they had been sleeping together, and he was grabbing her boob. What had the world come to?

Hearing a burst of conversation from the next room over, Sorano zoned in on that, suddenly hearing something about… “a newlywed lady”????????

When the hell had Mura gotten married? What was going on? Had he become a pedophile? Even with her emotionless condition, Sorano’s brain had become overloaded with shocking information, reaching its capacity. As her muscles gave out, the letter mage flopped to the floor, eyes staring blankly ahead as her mind worked over time to organize what she had just experienced. I mean, wouldn’t anyone have to do that?

Shaded Light [Job | Mura | Sorano] Empty Re: Shaded Light [Job | Mura | Sorano]

Post by Mythica 13th February 2019, 11:27 pm

For the next little while Mythica faded in and out of sleep. The morning was still very young, and it seemed like Mura was still fast asleep, so she had no reason to get up either. That was of course until she was jerked awake by the slight pinch she felt in her chest area...

Mythica blinked awake to see Mura staring at her directly with shock in his expression, and that's when she looked downwards to see where his hand was. Oh no. This wasn't exactly what Mythica was thinking when she decided to sleep in the same bed as Mura... Of course, judging by his expression, he didn't exactly have the same idea either. Mythica could only stare directly at him for a moment, her golden clock eye freezing in place as her cheeks flushed red. Yes, even Mythica could get embarrassed at times. Mostly in front of her husband anyways. Of course.. This wasn't the first time Mythica had her breasts grabbed before. Her mind shuddered when she thought back towards that fateful mission she had with a man named Vlad. It wasn't a good time, and she showed her appreciation for his perversions in a fairly different way. On reflex, Mythica showed Mura the same appreciation. She wasn't thinking, but her body was. As soon as she looked back up at Mura, her knee came sliding upwards and planted firmly between Mura's legs! The impact was enough to shatter any man's spirits on the spot, no matter how tough they were.

After that, Mythica would quickly lean upwards and pull the blanket up to cover herself, red with embarrassment and shame! "Eh- Eh- S- S- Sorry Mura, b- but you got- gotta warn me when you d- do something like that!" She stammered. For the first time in forever, Mythica was genuinely nervous. She didn't exactly mean to knee her husband in the sack, but her body was on a protection mode. The feeling of Mura's hand was associated with the same experience she had with Vlad, so her body triggered the same response she gave him... Only this time it wasn't very satisfying. Of course, at this moment is when Mythica noticed the new arrival.

A young girl stood in the doorway to Mura's bedroom. One that looked familiar. However, what made things worse than being walked in on was the fact that she just witnessed Mythica kick her ace in the balls, and that probably wasn't exactly a good thing. And she was apparently a child. Certainly not a good thing either. "O- Oh. Hi there, kid. Uhh.. Is Mura a friend of yours? Sorry about that." She said, trying desparately to repair whatever damage had been done. But jduging by the expression on the girl's face, Mythica wasn't entirely sure if that was at all possible at this point in time. She looked completely in utter shock. It was at this point Mythica had the sneaking suspicion that this girl had some sort of closer relationship to Mura than Mythica knew. Of course, not the same kind of closeness that he and Mythica shared, but there was definitely some sort of connection, and the action taken by Mura was enough to take the words from the young girl's mouth.

Mythica soon stood up from the bed and flipped her long untied hair, before her body began to glow brightly and less revealing clothing soon appeared on her body. She was now dressed in a neatly white buttoned up shirt and black skirt, with black tights and shoes to boot. "WELP! It's morning and we have a task to do Mura, so get dressed and meet me in the dining room.!" She said, her entire voice and personality seemingly changing instantly from what it was before. She turned to Sorano and put a hand on her hip. "Oh yeah, name's Mythica. You can come too if you want, not that I care very much, but if Mura allows it, so will I." She said with a somewhat sour tone. Not that she had anything against Sorano personally, but just because of the fact that Sorano was a female, that was enough to irritate Mythica, especially in an area so personal to her husband.

Mythica put her hands behind her back and started to whistle, skipping out of the room passed Sorano and into the brighter area of the house. It was at this moment when Mythica noticed just how nice Mura's house was. Of course it reeked of him, but she didn't mind. She looked around curiousl when she heard commotion of two people arguing. There were more people in this house? Did Mura have roomates? How peculiar. She decided to follow the sounds of the conversation until she was in the kitchen. There she saw the two floating spirits, and Mythica couldn't help but giggle after hearing the last bit of their heated argument. "Hehehe... Well you don't need to worry too much, I'll take good care of him... I promise." She said, the last part of her sentence sounding somewhat darker than the rest.

Mythica could've determined that these two spirit beings were the ones that constantly followed Mura around. She hadn't really met them before, but she was smart enough to sense their presence from time to time. And now it seemed they had mixed feelings about Mythica's arrival into Mura's life. Not that she really cared about any concerns they had. In the end, Mura was his own person and he didn't need to listen to anything these spirits had to say about it. Mythica then continued to whistle and make her way to the dining room, summoning a small piece of parchment paper in her hand that was labeled "100 Year"
