Naraku arrived at the hunting village after a long flight. She had not flown the entire distance preferring to walk into the village herself in order to hide her true power. Resting over her shoulders was one of her weakest weapons, but the one most likely to impress a huntsman, an axe simply called Biter. It was a large battleaxe and fairly impressive to look upon. It looked a true Hunter's weapon, which is why she had chosen it for this particular jaunt. Of course, she'd probably change it at some point for her scythe, but looks were important.
She entered the village silently and walked through it till she arrived at the house of Chief Hakuna. The name for some reason brought a strange joy into her body for he was Chief Hakuna of the Matata tribe. According to local legend Hakuna was a title bestowed upon chiefs who had done great things. Thus the motto of the village was Hakuna Matata. No worries though. It didn't matter to her at all. She was here for one purpose and that was to test her new found strength and her new body. She knocked upon the door and was greeted by a man who looked intensely familiar. He was an old man, hunched over, with grey hair in the pompadour style whose eyes seemed to be closed. He was wearing a yellow vest top and blue shorts and in his hand was a flask of what smelled like alcohol. He looked identical to the lightning priest she had fought recently to gain her new strength.
"Chief Hakuna?" Naraku asked to which the man just smiled. "My name is Naraku Makura. I heard you were having a problem with some lions so I came to offer my services." The man's eyes opened to slits and he looked her over.
"You have a strong magical presence, darker than most, but most who hunt beasts get darkened to some extent. You must be one hell of a hunter." the man said and then explained the task in detail. She nodded once she had heard these words and headed towards the exit. "Don't you want to stock up on supplies?" the chief asked slightly surprised.
"No, I have everything I need." she said and then walked out into the desert ready to find the beasts. This was going to be a true challenge. It was the first B rank mission she had ever done solo. Normally she had Chelvaric or another ally to help her, but now she was strong enough to accept such missions solo. Of course, if she needed to she had Fluffy, but she'd likely only release him on the King of Beasts. She knew he wanted to test his metal against him.
