    Job Info

The notice had come in the usual way from the magic council to perform a job for them; this was nothing new to Luna as she had already performed many services for the council - including destroying a meteor summoned by Hera which would have outright destroyed Crocus otherwise should she had never been there and destroy the meteor completely with the sheer firepower of Behemoth. Taking the time to read the missive thoroughly, she learned that she wasn't alone on this job and that she would have a partner. No problem, she quickly prepared her traveling kit in a satchel and left nearby tree-line at the edge of the small fishing village close to the entrance into the Lycan Woods. Reading through the notice, it seemed that reports were recent with folks in the area spotting strange, mechanical beings around the villages in the area. word was that these clockwork beings ranged from the small in size to the colossal in size, and so this was a great way for Luna to get a work out or so it seemed. Having recently become even more powerful, the female mage sought a true test of her new strength - and while it might not come with this new job, chances were that she would get the chance she was seeking.

The melody of chirping caught her ears as she stepped upon the cobblestone path, a light clatter echoing from the steps upon the path. It was strange to see fowl this close to such a haunted area, but a quick look told her that they were flitting away from the woods. Perhaps the area was a familiar one to them, but it held it’s own dangers after all. The woman seemed to be of an inquisitive sort, stopping to take mental notes whenever it provided prudent to do so. She listened to the sounds of the planet with interest, not only for her own purposes but also to simply understand the way of nature, as was her way. Observing the aperture now, the woman gained data from the trees and the nature of the ground underneath; all information that may seem mundane but information that would give her a clearer picture of the environment and possibly provide an advantage when forming a battle plan in the future.

Darkness shrouded the eaves of the wooded aperture leading to within the Lycan Woods, trees casting odd shadows this way and the other different way, taking an apprehensive cautionary approach before releasing a rippling force of air that would soon settle and sweep through the area around her. She did not fear illusions and shadow, in truth the woman didn’t fear much if anything at all. Luna quickly spiked through the forest - the tight-nit copse of trees not seeming to even affect her as the cloaked female passed right through them. Her legs picked up and she took to flight and passed through a large swath of the opening copses and right into the thick of the woods. As she neared the object which seemed to thrumm with magical energy, the woman’s speed slowed until it halted altogether and her feet lightly touched the ground. Luna adjusted the cloak and hood that obscured most of her appearance, awaiting the ones who would be coming with on this particular job. While waiting, she took to a close examination of the portal itself without directly intervening with it. Luna's senses and sensory curtain of air kept her alert should anyone approach her.

    Haraka Omaras

Haraka Omaras was a person with simple wants and desires. This was why days not spent on mage related jobs normally always seemed very much alike when not running into new members of their guild. Signing up to jobs was not something done for joy, nor currency. Of course it didn't mean jobs were free, by no means. The person had known far too many generations of merchants on a personal level for that to be a thing. The goal was simply to grow and do good. It was a struggle to even use magic when the young looking old man had originally joined the west fiore trading company. Back then he had been unhealthy, but with issues that would never show as marks upon the flesh. Reflecting on how quickly things had changed since joining a guild and working in it could feel a bit dizzying. It was so much change in a small amount of time. But that change was why when a job was too much for someone else to do on their own, he was strong enough to take it and aid that very person, even complete strangers. Preparing for this day was done in the manner that every other day was readied to handle. This was achieved by waking up early, taking a shower, drying, getting dressed, brushing and tying his hair, making and eating breakfast, then cleaning up after himself. The clothes worn were the same type he put on every work day since after joining his guild., white dress slacks, a white dress vest, a grey dress shirt, dark shoes, and the west fiore trading companies logo on a pin that was embedded and secured upon the vest.

Flight had been used to actually arrive, though no effort was made to tuck away his wings and tail. More and more as of late there had been a realization of a simple truth about other mages. They dealt with weird things every time a job was accepted. This meant that features that made the doctor look even less human like shouldn't be an issue. His landing had been within the woods as that was just the best way to avoid a lot of issues. It was easier to deal with whatever was in that forest than the stress of wondering if some random stranger would decide you were an evil demon. It wasn't hard to find his job partner, seeing as she seemed to not make any attempts to hide her magical presence. In fact, the rippling wind made it even easier to find the said person. Should he care? Probably, as it didn't feel all that wise. Then again not holding caution that would be wise to have seemed like a far too typical trait anyway. It didn't matter to him what someone else wanted to do, so long as everything in the job was preformed properly. The mans emotions were quite neutral at the moment. There was no reason to feel anything besides focusing on the task at hand. His task was basically nothing so far, for nothing had been done by his person as of yet. Whatever task it might have been to find the location was already done by another person, a person that had been easy to find. So they were at a contraption. From the information the job gave out, this was likely the gateway the mechanical creatures had been using. A quiet, gently, and smooth voice spoke in the silent scenery.

"I am guessing you are Luna Jaeger of Sabertooth." It seemed like a good guess to make. There weren't other mages nearby at this time, that was the name of the mage he was supposed to work with. She was next to the object he was supposed to find and use. She looked ready to use it and everything, didn't she? Was she not planning to wait for him at all? Oh well. William wiggled a bit, being located against his neck, hiding under the shirts fabric. The tiny shy clam didn't feel like coming out at this time. "I'm Haraka Omaras of The West Fiore Trading Company, your partner on this job." While he usually smiled politely at people, they also normally showed more curtacy towards him. This was not like the time in his life before magic was used, there would be no smiling out of self preservation. Still, since she looked so eager to continue on, why not use the warp now? Though he wasn't exactly going to rush over towards it when someone was already practically ogling it. He was just glad that his necklace was on, even if it was hidden beneath layers of clothing and fabric, hidden away. The only way to see it would be to see under the layers of clothing. But of course looking under someones clothing would be a perverse and lewd thing to do, so it wasn't something the half ice dragon would be expecting.

The Blood of death kept me breathing. From that fluid birthed a new rhythm.
