Shinobi Dragon War Pact
Magic Type:
Summon Primary/ Take-Over Auxiliary
Description:
In the ancient past, Dragons were revered in the eastern countries of Earthland as gods and deities in their own right. One clan of Midi assassins choose to enter contracts with these ancient creatures to both use their power to vanquish their enemies and to learn their unique traits-- not as dragon slayers but the unique skills as shinobi the tribes worshiped them for. In time, this particular tribe of dragon-kin grew to adopt the nature of ninjutsu to a part of their culture as well as their dragon traits. This tribe consists of not only pure-blood dragons, but dragonkin, wyrms and other subspecies of dragons united in this shadowy clan. The humans who earned their loyalty and servitude are bound to the clan via a blood-pact, that the loyalty will go both ways to serve both needs of the tribe and caster. It is only known to be magic that was given to the "Tenzoku" clan for their dedication to the assassination arts of the Shinobi.
The spells to summon require a combination of Midian hand-signs and the drawing of the caster's own blood. Once drawn via a wound or other means, it produces a seal, a puff of smoke and the desired shinobi dragon emerges to fight for the aid of the summoner. These spells can be encoded on scrolls, but the ink is said to be of blood as well. While focused on the arts of ninjutsu, these dragons and dragonkin are skilled in all forms of eastern warfare, from swordsmanship to the stealth arts and eastern spellcasting.
In addition, one skilled enough can adapt the same dragon's powers into their own body as auras, physical transformations or other manifestations. This is achieved by passing magic from both the caster and the summons, to adapt their powers temporarily. How it manifests depends on the caster in question. However... it is rumored that only a Dragon Slayer can bring out its true potential.

Magic Benefits:
Can have up to 3 summons out.
+15% to HP and MP.
Unique Abilities:
- Blood-Pact Bond: The act of blood is the medium which summons the dragons of the east, but the tie also binds their minds and souls together. When the summoner sustains damage that draws blood, the next time they perform a summoning spell via this magic, their next summon spell is 50% less to cast. If a Take-Over spell is active, you may gain 1 ability from an active summon that is there. Access to this is lost if the summon's time expires or is defeated. When a summon isn't active, or when using a Take-Over is active-- the summoner develops a mental link with the spirit of the dragon that is inhabiting them, allowing communication even when not summoned.
- Ninjutsu Art of Dragon Mimicry: A style in combat where the summoner and summon work together to confuse and deceive the enemy. In addition, the summon can transform into the summoner or vice versa, allowing the summon to take a hit targeted at the other. (Damage is treated as normal.) They may also transform into other targets to further deceive their enemies or protect their allies. When a Full Body Take Over is active, the user can select summons as part of what makes up their Take Over forms for their added abilities.
