Finding himself sitting in the passenger seat of the midnight black car that his family owned, Leonardo gazed out the clear window at the changing scenery outside of the car - watching people walk down the side-walk, vendors at food-carts try to pawn their wares, and etc. On this particular day, the raven-haired noble had found himself riding his gray-haired chauffeur named Jenkins, who was watching the road in front of him through his thick glasses. With his gloved hands tightly gripped on the steering wheel, the older gentleman began to speak to his younger companion in the midnight black vehicle. “Lord Leonardo, may I ask you a question regarding our current destination? You didn’t tell me much besides the fact we were heading to Rose Garden to take care of a bit unpleasant business,” The older gentleman stated while he waited for a reply from the young adult sitting next to him. “Hmm… I was informed by mail earlier today that I need to renew my passport so I may maintain my ability to leave this land as I please when matters abroad come into the equation, Jenkins. You know, I don’t do too well when matters involving those idiots in Magic Council come into play.”
Leonardo shifted his attention from the outside and looked at the older man sitting across from him. “Ahh… I shouldn’t let matters involving them make me relay matters in such an unreliable fashion. Forgive me for that, Jenkins. We will be heading to the town square in this Town Of Magic. The third building on the right side should have a line of people coming out of it like the last time we were here to get them,” Leonardo finished his statement and then started to look outside of the window. It was still a bit early so the lacrimas which lined the sidewalks were not on at the moment. He did remember that they gave off such a lovely light. The ambiance was something wonderful. After all, he did have to mingle with a few of the other nobles’ daughters from time to time and usually brought them here. But that was neither here nor there at the moment for the young raven-haired noble also known as the Earl of Periwinkle.
The car continued to drive until it reached town square of Rose Garden. Like the rest of the town, it was filled with the same hustle and bustle of the area. Even more than other areas due to a large number of people coming to register for a passport. The midnight-black car pulled over to the sidewalk and parked in the area that was designated for parking. The gray-haired older gentleman stopped the car engine and stepped out of the car. He headed to the passenger side of the vehicle and opened the door for his young lord. “We have arrived at our designation, my young lord,” Jenkins replied with a bow. Leonardo stepped out of the car and looked around. “Yes. Thank you for escorting me here, Jenkins. You may rest in the car until I am ready to depart from this town. Or if you are hungry, then you may go and fetch a quick meal without me. Just be back in the car around thirty minutes. I will call you on your iLac if I am going to be late,” The raven-haired noble replied as he walked on the step on the sidewalk. “Yes, my lord,” Jenkins replied. The older man walked back to his side of the car - deciding to wait on his young lord instead of heading to a cafe to eat a meal.
Leonardo continued on his way to the line outside of the area, where everyone was obtaining their passports. He got into his place in the line and pulled his fully charged new device, one he had gotten from the Neutral Grounds for free as part of a promotion. The raven-haired noble figured this was as good a time as to check on a number of things - such as his family's stocks, his schedule, and even play a few mind-numbing games. As he passed the time in such a manner, Leonardo looked up from his device and made sure not lose his spot in line. Thirty minutes would pass. The noble found himself at the front of the line where he was greeted by a woman. She dragged him over to take a quick snapshot to use for his passport. Afterward, the female worker gathered his information and renewed it. With that bit done, Leonardo walked back to the car where Jenkins was waiting for him. Sliding back into his previous location in the front passenger's seat, Leonardo buckled his seatbelt and waited for Jenkins to drive him back to his home.
