The True King...or Queen?[Job][Sukiro and Leonard]

Watching Leonard strike down in a thunderous boom as his large blade crashed into the earth beneath them, he sliced through the lion cub with ease. As the blade crushed the ground shards of earth sprang out in all directions striking the other cubs making them step back along with Mari though had placed her arms in front of her face shattering the small fragments of earth. Leonard slowly regained his balance and walked back toward Mari with his blade at a stance of offense ready for anything. Along with the Cubs they broke their group apart with 4 of them running for the hills scared of Leonard's strength, but the other five stood their ground growling toward the two.

Placing her fists down she looked toward the cubs that wanted to continue to fight, they showed promise in their fighting ability. For Leonard they might not be any match but she'll have to step it up a notch if she wanted to keep out with them and Leonard.

"What now?"

Leonard asked, still in his readied position toward the rest of the cubs.

The cubs looked at each other with confidence in their eyes, as they dug their paws into the ground, claws sprang from their nail, looking longer then normal and dug them into the ground as well. Before Mari and Leonard knew it they sprang into action, three of the five pounced forward attempting to slash at both Mari and Leonard while the other two ran in opposite directions around coming from the sides of them both, as if within those few seconds they had came up with a plan of action and acted upon it.



"We fight!"

Mari jumped back crouching slightly as her feet began to ignite in flames, punching her fists together a large red crest appeared before her. Her body was engulfed in flames and she propelled herself forward.

"Fire Dragon's Sword horn!"

Mari shouted as she flew through the air toward the pouncing Lions clashing with them midlfight. Mari headbutt the lion that laid in the middle banging the air right out of him making him lose focus while the other two dug their claws into Mari's arms along with getting scorched with Mari's flames burning the hairs on their body's and crashed within the ground, creating a scorching crater within the ground. The lion placed in the middle kicked forward pushing Mari back but she kept her ground still standing toward them.

The other two Lions that still were charging headed toward Leonard with great speed and throwing dirt behind them with every step. They dashed for both sides of Leonard hoping that one of them would get a strike in.

Striking down the Lion with her head butt, it rested within the small crater she'd created using the small lion, but its two allies were still strong and willing to fight her all the way she loved their will to fight. They jumped back before her digging their claws into the ground as they landed and Mari crouched slightly, with her arms covered in slashes and a few small holes oozing with blood from their last attack but ignored it like all the other cuts that can be found on her body, she's obtained through battle has been ignored due to being small cuts instead of large gashes. The two Lions barked toward Mari as if she didn't belong in this certain area, like more animals protecting their base of ground where their family sleeps, just like one would defend ones loved one. But this were not the case not only was there a wild and crazed animal among them but one that tested all those other mages strength and hasn't faltered as of yet and Mari wasn't going down like the rest.

Mari began to charge toward them both before a large shadow appeared on the ground where her physical position was, making her stop completely and looked toward the sky. What was above her she couldn't tell from her position but it was to late to tell anyway. The gigantic lion came from above in one great pounce toward Mari catching her where she stood and striking her with his paw and shooting her back, far past where Leonard stood and crashed into the ground followed by a large dust cloud.

"Thats not good..."

Mari said to herself as she rested on the ground with her arms spread out and her face toward the sky, her stomach felt like it was impaled with the largest nail she'd ever seen thankfully the beast struck her with the bottom of his paw, which struck more blunt damage then slashing and would have weakened her even more, but it still had packed a punch that made her feel like being smashed by a hammer. She slowly picked herself up from the ground, lifting with her legs and placed her hand on where she was stricken.

Though as she was picking herself up, the three lion's attention were now placed on Leonard as they stood side by side. The largest of the lions huffed his nose and with that the other two smaller lions went straight toward Leonard ready to pounce on him with their claws read, along with the larger lion jumping from his exact position all the way over above Leonard's physical position in one swoop crashing his large paw on top of him, in unison with the other two Lions.

Mari lifted herself from the intense pain by that last attack from that grand lion has pulled. Lifting herself from the ground itself she stumbled for a few steps before coming to a complete halt crushing the grass beneath her feet. Taking a deep breath trying to push the pain aside she tried to rush over to Leonard's side and aid him in battle as it seems that this battle is going to be a blood bath. Lifting her head and looking further ahead she can see that even more beasts have come forward to aid the rest, it was like a battalion of beasts ready for war with Leonard and Mari smack in the middle of it. From her point of view she can tell that another ten Lionesses have come from the hills along with another ten cubs, she sighed with confidence behind it knowing that even with more coming down their way, they'll be able to defeat them.

As she began to think like that fire began to be visible around her, even the grass before her was caught in flames as a smirk grew on her face. Clenching her fists and looking toward Leonard a large red aura grew about her body and the surround area around her. Punching her fists together her pink lips began to move.

"Fire Dragon's...Rage!"

She said before the red aura became more dense and seemed to look more like actually flames in a large ball form around her body. Crisping the grass and ground beneath her feet before dashing toward Leonard, with her power enraged and her pain slightly tended by increase in power she is more focused on fighting now. She noticed that Leonard was being a bit over numbered by lions and decided to help.

Charging in slightly behind Leonard, Mari threw a fist toward one of the Lion Cub's who saw the strike coming placing his hard head out crushing into Mari's fist though the raw strength of her punch was enough to send the cub back, before she punched her fists together once again.

"Fire Dragon's Claw's!"

She shouted igniting her feet and legs in flames through her hands onto the ground and pulling a split while in a handstand swung her legs around in a complete circle, as if some kind of fire show making a large circle of fire. One of her kicks were dodged by the Lioness as she saw the kick coming toward her while the cub took the hit directly sending it flying backward with a large burn on his belly. With Mari throwing herself back onto her feet, she lifted a leg up and toward the lioness struck forward only to blocked by it grabbing Mari's foot with it's mouth. Mari pulled her leg back along with the Lioness and threw it to the side before continuing onward.

"Sorry I wasn't able to take them out fully, but that should even the odds!"

Mari said to Leonard before heading off into the deeper crowd of Lions striking them all with fire damage from being to close to Mari, she took the first shot as they all the felt the rushing burn of fire on their skin. Some Cubs tried to stand up to her but she was more then glad to face them head on, lifting her fist she dropped it onto on of the cubs head directly on top before launching herself into the air and axe kicking the other downward into the ground before the other jumped out of the way. And the same cub decided to use this chance to strike, clawing her side that was already in pain.
