The humble waiter of this fine dining establishment within the city limits of the Neutral Grounds laid a white porcelain plate on the table before the raven-haired male known as Leonardo Matteo. On the white plate was situated a lone large steak cooked medium-well, a bread roll, and a decent portion sized of mashed potatoes and green peas. Next, to the white porcelain plate, the waiter laid a single clear glass on the table before pouring a rose-colored wine into it. Leonardo waved his hand toward the man - dismissing him. The waiter bowed and left the male to consume his meal in peace.
With a fork and knife in his hand, Leonardo began to eat his meal in peace. He had traveled to the Neutral Grounds on this day to partake in a negotiation with another Fiore Noble Family on the matter of funding a group project regarding the discovery of another mineral vein within their mines known as AM. It was a type of mineral or rather metal that could be used to create anti-magic items - useful combating or imprisoning wizards.
As he enjoyed his meal and reflected on what had occurred during his meeting as the family’s representative. Leonardo couldn’t help overhearing a nearby conversation between two females. He heard them speak about a variety of things - his eavesdropping was a bad habit of his which was developed when his father had him staking out the competition or ensuring certain loyalties to the Noble Families and the Royal Family was maintained. The raven-haired male took a bite of his steak, savoring the seasoned beef before he heard something about an item called an iLac which was being distributed for free among the general populace. He listened to them describe the item in greater detail - its design, its uses, and etc. Leonardo decided that he could waste a bit more time before his chauffeur returned with their car.
Finishing the last bit of his meals and wiping his face clean with a napkin, Leonardo organized the area on the table. Leaving the dirty napkins on side of the plate and the used silverware on the other side He stood up from his seat and reached into his pocket. The raven-haired male pulled out a black wallet from it. He opened it up and placed a few bills on to the table near him with the restaurant bill on top of the money - paying the total amount of the bill that was due along with a modest tip for the help. Leonardo truly didn’t care about the man nor was his service truly remarkable. But he had a certain image to maintain as nobility and not leaving a modest tip was going to reflect badly on him and his family.
The raven-haired male placed his midnight-black wallet back into his pocket. Then Leonardo walked out of the restaurant to the city outside. He had looked at a map a bit before coming to the Neutral Grounds - taking a mental snapshot of the map and committing it to his memory. Remembering the map that he had committed to his memory, Leonardo walked down the street while reciting the location of the store. In a few minutes, he found himself near the store. A line had formed on the street and he knew he was in for a wait.
The raven-haired noble waited on the side of the street and pulled out a small notebook from his pocket. Written inside of the notebook were an array of neatly written notes about the meeting that had taken place - numbers, places, and people. He looked at them and thought about the meeting once more - figuring out the best course of action for which would further his father’s cause. As he thought to himself, the line continued to move inch by inch. In twenty minutes, Leonardo found himself in front of the store. The young adult walked into the iLac store. Instantly, he was greeted by an iLac employee. After a few pleasantries were exchanged, Leonardo found himself with a new device in his hand and was out the door - a process which took way less time than waiting in line took.
Leonardo walked down the street and back to the dining establishment he had first left. As he stood in front of the red-brick building, the raven-haired noble heard a familiar sound. He tilted his head and looked down the road to see the family car coming up to pick him up. The car stopped next to him. An elderly man dressed in a black suit exited the side of his car and came outside to greet him. “Lord Leonardo, I take it that you enjoyed your meal and your time here in the Neutral Grounds?” The man asked him before opening the passenger side door. “Yes, Jenkins. I enjoyed the meal quite a bit. I also was able to obtain this new device called an iLac. It seems that it will be useful later on so I will talk to father about procuring one for everyone in the house.” Leonardo replied - getting into the car. “I do thank you for your continued service to our home as well, Jenkins.” The noble finished. The elderly man gave a quick bow. “No sir, I thank your family for giving a man like me a place to serve for so many years.” The chauffeur replied - closing the door to the car and getting into the driver’s seat. With that, the duo drove back to the Matteo Estate.
