Sunny New Meetings || Mellascyla Intro

The sun had reached full zenith the scorching heat over the mountain range countered by the cold winds that accompanied such heights. As the cold and stinging winds attempted to tear at the exposed skin of the woman walking up the mountains range, nothing but some shorts and barely a sports bra covering her as she climbed. Yet as it seemed to her this was nothing more than a calming wind, the solar radiation that coursed through her keeping her warm as she finally reached the top having gone by a beautiful cascading waterfall and soon after a climbing town. While yes she had wanted to stop by the town to perhaps learn some more about it, she had a different calling today as she slowly made her way towards the fortress that adorned this mountain range. Clouds bellow her moved like water through the air from the winds an almost calming sight range as she felt the sun warming her skin even more as she took it all in for a moment. If anything she had heard many an old human legend telling of cityscapes and even old ruins adorned with gold, but the guild hall and fortress of Aurora made all those tales pale in comparison.

Looking around she eventually found her way to the main foyer of the guild hall itself finally getting inside as she touched a hand over her chest taken aback by the interior. Gold was more than certainly a color here and it reminded her of the old clans she used to roam with, the giants and their rituals dancing in the sun as they asked for it's blessing, dresses woven with golden strings as their priestesses prayed to the sun. This sight was almost enough to bring nostalgic tears to her eyes if she would let herself reminisce this time, but as it stood she had a job to do and so with that quickly made her way through the area hoping to find someone as her golden eyes looked around for anyone who might help her. Many people were here and many eyes followed the woman as she walked around, a hand nervously fidgeting with the ring around her finger. Many runes adorned the silver ring each resonating with synchronistic power, more than likely giving off the effect that there was magic in use to those using sensory. As she finally stopped in front of a room she felt drawn too she would knock, however weakly the ring made her in this state there was still some power to the knock despite how meek it might sound.

Luna's formal attire:

Teleporting onto the edge of the cliff, Luna adorned in her formal attire made her way to the front gate, where she noticed it was left open. That usually meant there was someone new around, after passing the gate she snapped her fingers causing the gate to close. It was a drawn out morning for the fairy, for her presence was very much requested by the mayor of Timbermere in a vague way that signified urgency. Luna thought that it was about something guild members had done, but she was glad to be wrong as it turns out she was invited to a brunch social hosted by the mayor, guests included his family, his deputy, the sheriff, the local judge, and a few influential figures. Apparently the mayor had been trying to reach the previous Masters for a while with no response, so he sent an urgent one for Luna. She spent the morning at the open bar social as she got acquainted with a few parties. The mayor wanted to introduce the Master of the Aurora guild to the town as well as throw a lush gathering. The buffet was immense and diverse, although Luna felt out of her element.

She was not one for high class things. After about two servings of eggs, sausages, and hash browns with four mimosas, she made her departure to the guild hall. Once she was in the guild hall, she was curious to know who was there, but first she wanted to check the Guild Master's work chambers. She noticed that the trail of the residual unknown energy was along the path towards her chambers, she could start to sense it's source in front of her chamber, knocking on the door.

She studied the presence and appearance of the lady, taken aback by the heat and stunning beauty. She was not sure whether it was the heat or the beauty that made her blush for a moment. "Damn... She's hot, revealing a lot of skin, and, not human?"

Luna focused on the life force, she knew the appearance was altered, and given vast life force, she had very few guesses on what the lady could be. She crossed off dragon, she had a few encounters with dragons to recognize the life force of a dragon near instantly, and it was not holy or unholy enough to be a god or demon, nor was it fairy. She walked up to the girl, the sound of the wooden Geta clacking against the floor would broadcast her approach as she got closer to the woman.

"Hello. I am the Guild Master of Aurora, Lunaris Mira, call me Luna though. I don't think we've met yet. Is there something you need? You are in front of my work chambers after all."

Pressing her arms against her chest she would let out a soft sigh at the lack of response from behind the door, "Perhaps I came at the wrong time?" crossed her mind as the sound of wood clacking the floor caught her attention. Turning her eyes towards the sound she would be met by quite the stunning woman, pink hair that was done in a formal way that she had recognized from her time in Midi, even the dress itself looked to be of Midi design. As she introduced herself to the Giant she would be taken aback by her presence before centering in on the words being spoken, "A-Ah! No I do not believe we have met miss Luna! I am Mellascyla, Mellascyla Andariel! I was looking to see if I could maybe join the guild you have established here!" Tapping her chest with a sense of pride she would give a wide smile quickly taking a moment to give a small respectful bow, "I had heard of Aurora on my travels here to Fiore and decided to settle here for a while as I research the people of this country! If you would not mind having me of course!" She had to admit maybe someone coming in and asking to just randomly join a guild on the basis of research was odd, but this one had some fun tales and the location reminded her a lot of home so it was a no brainier on her part what she wanted to do.

It was in this talk that a thought crossed her mind as she could not help but feel a little embarrassed, "Ah here you are looking so Radiant and I am in my travel clothes! One moment!" Putting a hand over the ring she would think for a moment of her clans traditional clothing for the priestesses and soon the ring would manifest the giants clothes onto her, white silk sewn with gold trimmings all depicting the sun, armbands made of pure gold and the silken shawl that now was atop her head, sleeves were long and much like a kimonos though of different design. Her chest was still very much shown off and much of her stomach and legs as well. Once the magic was finished shifting her clothes she would sigh and look at the woman in front of her once again giving a small and respectful bow, "I apologize for changing in front of you but it seemed to be right to talk to you in my own more formal attire! I hope you are fine with having me!"

Luna was slowly getting closer to piecing together the girl's race, however she was glad to see the woman was well mannered. She made a note of the Mellascyla's change of clothing, and soon she started to gather a bit more about the style. It was very divine, but she was nod a god, and given the vast life force, Luna began to speculate upon the girl's past. Although externally she kept a calm and gentle smile, she admitted internally she found her very much attractive. "Oh, you didn't have to change on my account. I just came from, a, gathering with the Mayor of Timbermere and some other noted figures. Let's talk inside." Luna opened the door to her chambers, gesturing for Mellascyla to follow her in revealing the large circular room about twenty feet high.

Lining the walls around the two sides on the left and right were curved bookcases made of mahogany wood, the contents were scarce, a few books plus bottles of what appeared to be whiskey or wine. The back of Luna's neck lit up for a second before a row of four rather deep books appeared on the shelves, solid holographic copies of the logs, reports, and information recorded about the guild. At the far end of the room was a wide bay window with a leather "L" shaped couch in front of it. Behind the center was the large gold desk, there was organized paperwork, little sheets out as most of it was in organized files. On the one side of the desk was a gold throne like chair, high back with claw like arm rests, and a magically refined leather designed to appeal to the person in charge. On the other side were two gold chairs, plain in comparison to the one opposing them, but had leather padding and were quite comfortable.

Luna pulled a small bottle of whiskey out from underneath her sleeve as she walked over to a shelf, putting the bottle down on it. "Another one of the mayors gifts, he's been sending stuff like this to the guild members who helped out around town. Keeps sending me alcohol, probably because I haven't complained about it. Had to stop him from sending it to children though..." As Luna made her way towards her desk, she would snap her fingers after the other woman entered, causing the doors to magically close themselves. Luna gestured to the chairs on the other side of the desk, gesturing for Mellascyla to the chairs. Since Luna had a chance to see so much of the girl, she was able to note the lack of unicorn inflicted injuries, meaning that Murphy saw nothing wrong with the girl. "Have a seat. Joining the guild is easy, I just gotta few things I wanna ask, I'm sure you got questions of you're own."

Luna sat down,getting comfortable, the curiosity was starting to get to her as she crossed the last possible choice off her list, rendering the last option to be most likely. She dressed too divinely to be a Lycan, and that would not explain the heat or level of life force she exuded. Luna recalled the tales of the one thing that could explain everything, she read stories as a kid but didn't believe she'd ever find one in her now drastically expanded lifetime. "Excuse me for coming out with this, but you wouldn't happen to be a Giant, would you? Just, you dress in divine like fashion and while you posses tremendous life force, that's beyond human yet not like that of a god."

Noting the design of the room was interesting, though the size was tall it was not nearly wide enough to contain her full size, "I shall need to thank my father for giving me this ring before I set off! It helps much with handling the humans dislike of my size." Watching Luna take out a bottle of what she could surmise to be whisky though her knowledge base for alcohol was not nearly good enough to tell accurately. "Ah taking it to kids would not be smart! Lest they be unable to handle it!" She smiled as she spoke, imagining kids in their early nineties like her peoples ways. Finally getting inside the room she would watch Luna snap her fingers and flinch as the door swung shut behind her, "I am not used to such magic! Curious! Is it your own or perhaps it is magic of the building itself?"

As she was finally gestured to sit down she would give a small smile towards her host, "Of course thank you! My questions are perhaps fewer than you think!" She gave a small chuckle as she sat down in the chair sighing in partial relief as this was the first time she had sat in hours of climbing the mountain range. It was the feeling of eyes all over her that caused her to stare back at Luna, she was obviously staring at her, maybe ogling her? But she had no way of knowing until she finally spoke up. Surprise overtook her enough that body have off a soft puff of heat, "Oh! You could tell? I am surprised most people take me for human while I have the ring on!" She put her index finger and thumb on the ring motioning to take it off but stopping when she remembered where she was. "Ummmmmm, yes I am a giant! One of the Sunlight Clan! We are quite large so this room is a biiiiiit too small even if I sit down to really fit me!" laughing as she finished her sentence she would smile a bit, "Though thank you for the divine comment on my clothing! It is the traditional priestess wear of my clan!"

Getting up out of a sense of pride she would do a little twirl showing off the design of her dress, the twirl moving most of the coating around enough to show all her curves before stopping and giving a small bow. "I hope that my being a giant is of course no problem, at full height I stand around thirty two and a half of your human feet tall." She gave a soft smile before sitting down again and quickly holding out a hand, "My wish is only to help others and learn all about the culture and foods of those that live here!"

As the giant entered, Luna could tell she was fueled with questions, Luna just wish she had all the answers herself. The castle seemed to respond to her and those she dubbed the Aces. "It's the castle, it seems to respond to those in charge. In this case, the Guild Master and their Aces. Some things respond, some things don't."

However, she was glad that she was right but when she saw the girl almost remove the ring, Luna could feel the magic as her eyes nearly opened wide. Knowing the numbers was not needed for Luna to be worried, for she knew that this office could handle a dragon morph, a demon morph, but most certainly not a demon morph. She almost jumped over the thick desk to just keep the place from being taken apart. She laughed as she concurred with the giant. "Thanks. I can't afford this room trashed, or the library, infirmary, and job board room."

Luna witnessed the giant showing off her tremendously gorgeous body, using her own magic to hide her blush as she integrated with the change in temperature. If not for the earlier evidence and confession, Luna would have believed she was in the presence of a goddess. She accepted the handshake, she kept her eyes from wandering into the girl's cleavage when she leaned over the table. Luna was starting to really grasp how much heat the giant gives off. "No problem, joining is rather easy." Luna pulled out a drawer, she grabbed two pages stapled together with the Aurora guild crest at the top of the front, she slid it to the shrunken giant before she pulled out the large silver stamper from the desk. At the base of the Magic stamper was a rotation wheel, at the top of the wheel as a small circle, revealing the active color.

Luna stood up before she carried the device around the desk before she sat on the edge of it. "Just some stuff for guild records, mostly just basic information plus next kin or will in case you, well, don't return from a job. Also, as you possibly know, guild wizards gotta get a tattoo of the crest to prove you're involved. This doesn't wash off so long as you belong to the Aurora Guild." Where do you want it and what color?"

Looking over the paperwork she could not help but feel she was deeply confused by some of the questions, though she answered as honest she could and as the woman spoke to her she would look up and smile. Tattoos were a weird thing she had noticed most people had, she had assumed that maybe it was tradition but not a legal factor, "Ah so Fiorian guilds put tattoos on!" Smiling she would slip her leg on top of the desk and shift some of the loose clothing off her leg and pat on the outside of her thigh, "Right here if you would not mind and if at all possible a gold color, the traditional color of my people! Though we do not often get tattoos!" She would chuckle to herself as she answered more questions through the paperwork before finally setting it down the only blank part being the next of kin and will. She had no clue how to answer this as alone she had no idea where her clan even was at this point, since the exodus from Perigrande after the banning of magic her people have been nothing but a wandering clan.

Finally getting her Tattoo she would not be able to help but look it over and smile, "Ah to join your guild is so much fun!" As she smiled with extreme excitement in her heart the heat in the room would rise to that of a hot summer day. Finally getting back to the paperwork she would just write in Luna's name into the spot, "I have no clue where my family is so, if anything happens to me you can have my possessions." She said it with a happy little wink before handing the completed forms over to Luna. After finally having noticed that the room was quite hot she would get her body under control as it went from hot slowly back to it's more normal state. Getting up quickly she would walk out towards the bay window and smile, "I cannot wait to sleep upon these mountains! Without cloud coverage I can wake up like a happy fully charged woman! Plus I doubt I need to worry about bandits trying to hurt me in my sleep... I once had someone take some of my hair ya know? It took like.... I don't remember how long to grow back but still! Who takes hair from a sleeping lady?" For her it was no harm no foul but still just having a safe place to sleep was nice.

'No idea where Family is', a tale Luna heard so often she figured she might as well put that down as an option on the form. Luna adjusted the dial on the stamper slowly as she came to the gold color. Afterwards she pressed it against the spot that the shrunken giant had suggested. She held it for a moment as it glowed before magically implanting the Aurora Guild Crest onto her body.  "Well, this is a magic tattoo, proves you're a member of this guild. Can't be forged."

Luna did not like the girl's seemingly cavalier attitude towards the whole ownership of possessions transferring to the guild upon death. She knew that it was her choice, she decided to leave it at that. Since the giant was of a 'Sun' variety, and too large for the building in her default form, she figured it made sense to her. The top of the mountain had a lot of opportunity to soak in sunlight. Luna wondered if that was in fact healthy for the giant, but her knowledge of giant physiology was limited.

However the talk about hair thieves got her a bit depressed as she walked around the desk to put the stamper away. She sat down in her throne like chair as she did in fact have an answer for the giant. "My guess is magically inclined thieves or treasure hunters. Myths and tales get spread aroun, sometimes true, sometimes not. Perhaps one says there is certain magical properties in giant's hair. But if you think that's bad, I am not quite human myself. For I, am a Nature Fairy. There are more nerves in a fairy wing then an entire humanoid body, and 6/7 times, the fairy dies, no before experiencing a threshold of pain no living being can imagine till then. Taking hair from a sleeping lady is rude, but farming and butchering fairies... "

Luna almost grimaced for a second, recalling the time she single-handed took down a illegal operation harvesting fairy wings. "Sorry, just, bad memories. I once, destroyed a full camp of harvesters after finding a full market was selling fairy wing enhanced products unknowingly. It's impossible to find enough willing fairies to mass produce dust, so ground up fairy wings were a faster but illegal substitute."

She would smile after her guild mark was placed on her and examine the area as she listened to the explanation that Luna gave to her. Before long this explanation turned into a tale of her own memories, things she had to deal with in her own way as obvious pain shined through the story an understanding of exactly how much pain they must have gone through. Getting up from her seat she would walk over to the nature fairy and place a hand on her shoulder pulling the woman into a hug, "I can understand why you must feel so hard for them, to see your own kind suffering is no easy task, to see them reduced to nothing more than numbers on a board, enraging." She let go of Luna for a moment softly sitting back down before smiling, "Humans are creatures I love to learn about! Such a capacity to learn and do so many great things! But like the best of us they fall to such whims as power and greed all too easily! It is what makes them worth studying!" She laughed as she spoke before sighing. It had been a while since she had properly thought on such things but she knew for a fact that people could do much harm and she simply enjoyed looking over the positives.

Looking back towards the door and soon back at the fairy she would get up again and pet the womans hair softly, "You know if you need to deal with such things again! Let me know! I shall show them the wrath of not only the sun itself, but we giants who are meant to help those in need." It was a belief not held by many of her people, but she firmly believed that her power and the power of her people could help others, one of the many reasons she went on this adventure in the first place. Looking out towards the mountain ranges she would smile and give a small bow towards her guild master, "If you ever have need of me, feel free to call upon me! I shall be sleeping for now! My trek was a long one and I believe I have kept you more than enough!"
