Job Description: A brand new device called the iLac has come out and the manufacturer is giving them away to anyone who visits the factory in Neutral Ground. Keep in mind, as soon as you step foot on Neutral Ground territory, all your magic (Primary, Secondary, Weapons, Armour, Pets, Unique Abilities, Passive Effects) is instantly shut down. But that's no problem because all you're doing is picking up your brand new iLac.
Reward: 1x iLac for everyone
iLac is a lacrima that functions like our real world cell phones. It can access lacrima-net, but CANNOT grant the user access to OOC information on other players. It can grant the user the ability to contact any other player who also owns an iLac providing that other player gave the caller their Lacrima Identification Code (phone number). The iLac also has a calendar, calculator, HP and MP tracker, stopwatch, alarm, and any other fun applications (that do not permit your character to know OOC information on another character) you can think of. It also has a Sorcerer's Weekly app installed.
Deleronark
Glancing about with an curious view the assassin took in the interesting sights around him. In all directions were massive structures, large buildings, and skyscrapers. It was certainly a strange feeling for the man, being without his magic. For as long as he could remember, which to be fair is not very long, he had felt the pull of ethernanos and was able to access his magical abilities, and call his weapons from the pocket dimension he had created in a time he did not remember. Currently however, he was without it all as he walked though the Neutral Grounds. One of the only places in Fiore without any forms of magic.
Taking a breath Deleronark watched the factory with little interest. If it was not for the utilitarian purpose of getting what he came for, he would have never gotten close to this place. The factory was quite busy, with various workers and personnel coming in and out. Every once in a while the assassin watched as one or two people entered and walked out caring a curious lacrima.
iLacs were, from what the assassin understood through his research, a relatively new device which allowed users to connect to the LacrimaNet. From what he was able to understand the device acted as a personal assistant, status tracker, and all around utility device including wireless communication between two of said devices. There were about a thousand and one reasons why the assassin knew this would be a useful tool. However, there was one issue. In order to get a device, Deleronark would have to enter the factory, and be seen on camera, as well as input his personal information and allow himself to be known in the system.
At least, that was the standard method of acquiring said device. Deleronark however had… connections. He could get an iLac modified for his… special uses. However, he had to still get ahold of one. That was when his idea came to mind. Sense the factory was just giving them away, to those who signed into their system. Should the assassin get ahold of and steal another person’s device, then surely they would be able to get another.
At least that was what the assassin assumed would happen. In all honesty, he really did not care and just did not wish to go through the process which could lead to his discovery and possibly tracking.
As such, the assassin found himself waiting at a diner for the perfect opportunity, which luckily did not take long. Shortly a group of girls sat down, placing their various iLacs on the table and eating. After waiting just a bit longer Deleronark took off, walking right next to the table and giving the girls a flirty smile and ‘edgy’ nod.
In their naivety not one of them noticed the phone that had vanished from the table. As Deleronark left the diner, and turned off the phone only then did he hear an exclamation from behind. Unfortunately, the assassin had already disappeared in the crowd, and prepared to take the device to his contact for modification.
