    ✝ LONG LIVE BAHAMUT ✝

    WORD COUNT: 1019 ❘❘ THEME SONG: PROPANE NIGHTMARES ❘❘ TAGS: @YDRIS @BASSAM @ROS ❘❘ JOB: iLAC

As it were, things began to look up for the heathenish sphynx. With days gone and a few jobs ( varying in morality ) under his belt, Damian felt it appropriate to establish himself as an inhabitant of fiore and "get with the times" so to speak. He'd come across a large sum of wealth recently and it was time to treat himself to something nice. When communicating with his various clients, Damian often met them in whatever tavern proved the shadiest. With the new iLac, he'd worry no longer. He was officially going to step into the world of digital communication & transactions; maximizing his business opportunities and expanding his network.

"With the ability to access Lacrima Net, the iLac comes with calendars, calculators, a tracker for the condition of your body and magic, alarms, timers, stopwatches; the list goes on and on!" He had to admit, he couldn't quite control his excitement. "Now!...How many people are susceptible to cyber-bullying"? Oh...you can't possibly expect him to use this for good; it'd tarnish his good name. "Humans are gullible creatures; one quick phone call can start a riot." Giggles nearly rushed from his maw as he sat in the center of a pitch black vicinity.

"How long will you continue to ignore me?" The thunderous voice boomed through his mind, his body shaking from but a few words. "As long as it takes until I leave you groveling before me." What was once a midget of joy upon the apathetic visage was now a hollow of it's former. The thunderous voice echoed once more in the form of a chuckle before proceeding to speak. "What a humorous creature you are; albeit more weak than initially thought." Rage beckoned a snapped response "Piss off D, you wouldn't even exist without me! You're just talking shit because you're in there and I'm out here!" An insurmountable amount of pressure now applied itself to the feline's form; his frame crashing into the ground as an intense heat engulfed him. Howling in pain, Damian writhed as "D" continued.

"Is that what you think?! That I'm just some whelp residing in here for kicks? Shall we recall my track record, child? Shall we recall what I did to your mother?! Consuming her was no easier than consuming your mind. You're weak, Damian, you're weak because you refuse to embrace your role as my lesser! Cease this repulsive behavior and let. me. feast"!

Suddenly, the pain stopped as Damian entered a fit of coughing and gasping for air. Struggling back to position, he felt strength gradually return. "Let this be a reminder of your position here, boy. As well as a warning to never raise your voice to me again..." With that, the voice faded; Damian left with an unbearable pain and the haunting words of his bestial instinct. "God damnit this hurts!" Crawling to the wall, he sat against it and hugged his knees; burying his head into it. "Ha...what a joke!" he couldn't stop his body from shaking...he couldn't stop this foreign reaction. "Funny how the only thing capable of showing me this is another version of myself." He gazed at the endless abyss of black "Perhaps it isn't my family but I as my undoing"? Letting that thought fester, he sat in silence for a short while longer before eventually getting up and exiting the house; he'd still business to attend to in the Neutral Grounds.

    --> NEUTRAL GROUNDS, iLAC FACTORY

It was standard in the Neutral Ground that upon entering it all magic be disabled. Personally he couldn't find the fairness in this as the hated are subject to physical discrimination with no way to retaliate. Everyone says they've no toleration when racism is brought up but in most cases it's politely swept to the side when anything of significance takes place. As expected he received a few stares from this and that person. What he didn't realize however was that regardless of his current emotion?...He'd a static visage displaying nothing but irritation; of course people were going to stare at him! He would get nothing different from the desk clerk as he entered the factory.

"Welcome to our building! How can I help y-" A light gasp waltzed with her shock as a relatively tall anthropomorphic sphynx cat death glared her very existence. "..you...today...sir"? He grinned, leaning closer to play on her fear "Do I scare you, girl?" retreating backwards, she began to stutter as she spoke. "N-No sir, y-you aren't scary at all! I-I'm sorry if you felt I-I was saying that!" She flailed her arms about in a panic; she was clearly scared. Of course, what would Neutral Ground be without it's fair share of knights in shining armor. "Listen sir, if you aren't here for an iLac could you please leave? You're beginning to bother the other customers"!

"Of course..." he thought "This is how it always is, isn't it? I'm some kind of monster to them. They gaze at me in fear like I've premeditated murder; gaze at me like I'm a freak." This crowd had been diverse as well, not just humans uneasy with his presence. "All of them...all of them will be on their knees in time." The voice once again returned, it's thunderous tone not lost on him. "And they will.. as soon as you give in to me." Yet another snap response, this one unintentionally directed at the manager. "SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH!" . . . He paused, snatching the iLac and retreating before any more damage could be done. . . Or so he thought. "Oh by the way," he peeked back in looking at the manager with his hand wrapped around the clerk "Your "employee" is swapping spit with the janitor; happy cheating". Snickering, he withdrew in a flash; the sounds of the manager hollering reaching a few blocks down.

"My very own iLac with a bit of chaos on top; I couldn't have asked for a better day." As he triumphantly waltzed back to his abode, he couldn't help but ponder the undeniable truth of "D"'s words.

    B A S S A M
GUILDLESS || 1515 WORDS || THEME: YUNG BRATZ
Bassam had very clear instructions today, told to him by his older siblings hours...no days prior in-fact. But the bad thing was, for the life of him he could not figure it out at all. This worried him, he began to get nervous sweat dripped down his brow as h- Wait no that wasn't from being nervous, he looked around inspecting his surroundings as he pulled him self out of the dirty mud pit.

Turning his back to the gigantic ditch, he had a pile of unrecognizable corpses, laid in waste behind him. Bloody, battered and beaten these unfortunate souls had the path of not only crossing Bassam but also insulting him.

"You guys didn't even have any magic!" He said in a childish like manner giggling as he slapped the face of a corpse playfully. His head turned to the side as he heard the breath of one still clinging to life.

"Ohhhh ohhhh," he exclaimed loudly pulling the women up. Holding her by her tattered shirt he stared in her eyes, a look full of excitement and questions.

"Hey yo hey, you still kickin?!?!" The dying person responded with a deep viscous gurgle, most likely due to copious amounts of blood filling the back of their throat. Most of which, if Bassam were correct, wasn't even theirs. He slapped the face of the one approaching death's door, gently of course as he egged them to talk.

"Hey can you tell me what death is like? You're dying right? Hey tell me please can you te-" His sentence was cut off with a gasp and continued gurgling. He shook them rapidly as they continued to vocalize attempting to cry out but unable to.

"Yo listen hey I won't put you in the pit if you just tell me, a bros gotta know. Don't you know how sweet death i-" Once again he was interrupted, loudly, with sudden brash and rude intent.

Blood splattered on his face as the person's head flung back, their eyes slowly closing as life left their form. Bassam wiped his face on the girls tattered shirt as he let her body go watching it fall back into the pit.

He began to clean up his mess tossing more bodies in then hopping in himself to align them properly. He was crazy, psychopathic and neurotic, but one thing he wasn't was unorganized. Aligning each body in perfect rows next to each other he made layers, The first layer was bodies which had to be burned thoroughly. Why did they have to be burned you ask? What if someone just happen to be digging in this exact spot and come across them and were able to identify them, that just could not happen. So they were burned, as they approached the cusp of crisp perfection Bassam quelled the first layer of fire with a layer of dirt. He repeated this process until a neat little dirty square stack rest unrecognizable from the ground itself. He sat down as the orange hue stretched across the sky. He sighed, a heavy one, one of relief and satisfaction as he rested staring at his hard work. Patting the soil on top he giggle putting an ear to the ground to listen.

"Nice little worm food." He said lowly to the ground or rather the contents inside of the ground.

"Lets hope you guys make better fertilizer than you do fighters!" He exclaimed as he stood grabbing his large shovel as he prepared to slide on out.

Pausing a eureka moment washed over him, he threw his head back falling to his knees dramatically.

"THE PHONE!!" He yelled aloud as he stood up bolting out, his inhuman speed carrying him far.

"The fucking PHOOONNNEEESSS!!" He was instructed with the task of grabbing a phone from some neutral grounds.

These apparently ilac devices were important for keeping a hold of each other. They had told him this days ago but Bassam had unfortunately forgotten.

He busted through the door of their hideout, looking around as he tracked mud everywhere. Where the hell was everyone at? He was relieved nonetheless, they couldn't catch him forgetting if they weren't here. Rushing around as mud and dirty made its home from Bassam's body he cleaned and purged himself of dirt, blood and the skin and sinew of others. Sliding out the shower he slide across the floor as he did a little naked jig. Strutting around naked was so much fun especially when no one was here to stop him, getting tide up in his naked body made him panic even more.

"I am only wasting more time!!" He screamed to his own manhood as he stared at it through a full body mirror.

He worked and he worked fast lightning rushing off his body as small sparks sped up his process. He tumbled over the bed as he put his pants on, searching under the dresser for a long lost forgotten shirt and banged his head on the same dresser on the way up. Placing his clothes on, jacket and all. He rushed out the door slamming it behind him as he almost floated down the street in long and fast strides.

"Neutral ground, neutral ground, neutral ground," he repeated to himself, it became sorta like a mantra at this point while he neared his destination.

He stopped, skirting in front of the place as he opened the two large doors. Walking in eyes trained on him, he looked of a commoner, but he was just plain beautiful, beauty was only skin deep and they knew not of his dark murderous nature. Or the fact that he just buried a murderous bandit troupe in his backyard. They only stared at his ebony skin, glowing sharp green eyes and long lengthy light blue hair. He was a mismatch of a man but a mismatch made in heaven. Walking up to the front desk he smiled leaning over as he looked the women up and down.

"Oh, uhm can I have a phone?" He said in a curious voice as the ladies face turned red.

He paused as he neared her almost grabbing the back of her neck pulling her close. She let out a small yelp as Bassam put a hand to the side of her face.

"This is blushing correct?" He asked pointing to her cheeks.

"Blushing means you are uhm...fuck what was it?" Still holding the women's face as he ran a hand up and down the side of her face.

Redness enveloped her skin as she became flustered.

"S-sir can you p-please let me go?" Bassam cheered up dropping her head as she fell back into the chair with a loud clank and gasp.

"Oh my bad, that made you uhm...uncomfortable right?" He said aloud as he looked at her with a smile.

"What did I come here for again?" Bassam tapped his chin as the girl spoke up.

"A p-phone sir?" He rose his finger slamming his fist down on the desk as the girl jumped.

"A phone! Oh my god you are so helpful I should just carry you around and have you remind me of shit all day." She turned her head twisting her hair shyly as a small smirk crossed her face.

"No s-sir it-its nothing truly!" She spoke back as Bassam put a finger to her lips resting his face inches from her own.

"No. No!" His eyes peered into her own, it was like he was staring directly into her soul as she felt every piece of Bassam's domineering personality over-wash her own.

"Don't doubt yourself! You. Are. Amazing! You can remember all kinds of things and you even have a swivel chair! I don't even have a whole swivel chair!" All of Bassam's replies where sincere, they had to be he didn't even know what sarcasm was...literally.

His hand reached over the desk pulling up one of the many phones as he flipped it open, his face still utterly close to her as her breathing picked up. He stood straight as everyone's eyes followed him yet he paid no attention. To others Bassam was flirting, but to him he was just being genuine he had no other way to be. He literally knew no other way to be besides this. Walking out he paused noticing he forgot something as he reentered placing his face back directly inches from her own, his arm reaching back over the counter as it searched pulling up a manual. He stood up once more and left for good as he begin to leave the neutral ground, the lady almost fainted as he walked out. She took the time to be assisted by nearby Samaritans. Pulling up the phone completely oblivious to the women's feelings and everyone else's eyes which had watched him he begin flipping through the device and reading the manual.

"Call Delancy!" He screamed at the device as he left neutral ground.

"Call Delancy damni- oh you need his id code thingy. THAT IS FUCKING STUPID!" His voice carried as he walked away.

    Fade away into dust.

Cards fluttered and floated around his persona as darkness enveloped half of his body while a pale white light caressed the other half. Golden violet hues gazed out with unmistakable distance within the tight space of his job. Having just finished his shift, break time was upon him and yet his mind was anything but at rest during this period. His left hand held the cards with the shadows while the right hand lazily lay open. Palm facing skyward as the small bit of light from outside the room washed over the right half of the room and body. A double helix of cards floated and moved with life, twisting and cycling over and over again like a gif on repeat. All he could think of was Mana and the last words the wizard ever told him before passing away on them. Some odd years ago things were rougher than they were now, at least they seemed to be but in truth, the children at the time were just weak. He was just weak when Mana was still alive, but upon his passing, there was a new found strength that would guide him hence.

Do not let the family fall into ruin. You protect them and do not lose sight of them understand? They may have their own strength but at one point or another, they will look to you for guidance.” How laughable honestly, that the siblings would look to Subja for guidance at all. If anything they all looked to Damian to do things as he did his own work on the side to help provide food. Bassam was a monster on his own terms doing as he pleased as Ros did as she pleased with glee, but if they did not have the options were they really free? Freedom was in fact something that Subja had feared they might all lose once Mana had passed onto the next life. Tightness pulled at the corners of his lips as smoke rolled through the air like ocean waves. Dust particles floated in kind with the filtered light from the doorway. Stale alcohol and cigarette smoke assaulted his senses like a boney hand brushing flesh, it was comfortable and uncomfortable in the same inhale and exhale. ‘What am I to do with you? Perhaps, I should get going and stop hanging around. There are things that need to be done today.’ Subja thought to himself before calmly letting the cards explode into a fluttering mess through the air. A geyser of smoke expanded from his lips as it turned into a playful white foamed ocean. Each card danced itself into position, making up a ship sailing upon the rough seats of smoke. A epilogue to the soul of Mana cruising down the river sphinx to Hades himself.

Leaning forward he allowed his body to slouch from its previously stretch position. A tingle ran through his limbs as the blood returned to its original flow making his toes tingle like pinpricks. Thankfully he wasn’t stepping on a lego, a pain he would only wish upon those entitled little shits who walked the planet. A feverish grin turned ghastly crossed his face in a nightmare fashion, perhaps he would feast on the souls of some children on his way to the neutral realm. A plan which he took only seconds to decided upon the ship and smoke both fell apart when the choice was made. Each card stacked into the next before floating out to take its place back with the spare sets, the smoke dissipated with the flow of oxygen in the building. Slender gloved fingers curled around the fabric of his dress coat sliding it onto his body with ease. God, he loved the feeling of the coat he acquired from Mana on his deathbed. A well-dressed man with mild manners and a heart of gold as most knew him. Few understood the full nature of such a elegantly dressed figure, an thus Subja wished to weave the same spell upon the world in which he walked.

There was a pause as he pushed his way out of the back room, people eyed his figure and stared at the crown of crosses upon his forehead. It was nothing new to him, of course, these heathens would stare at his skull in concern. Turning slowly to the nearest ashtray he finished the cigarette with ease before putting on a stunning smile. Buttoning up the jacket Subja made himself more presentable to the naked eye. Sliding both hands into his pockets he pulled forth a top hat from the podium to his left placing it atop his head. “May the odds forever be in your favor.” Subja said lightly while the golden hues glittered with what looked like hope to those who watched his face and actions. A small clap began to form as the man walked out of the building and soon cheers roared at his heels as he closed the door.

Adjusting both gloves the stones resounded with the click of his heels as he sauntered his way to the neutral region. He had to remember to make a stop at the market for cigarettes for himself as well. Unfortunately, he let the other one go out without a single puff being lost in his thoughts. Once more his mind began to fade into black as monochrome took over his mind's eyes, onward he walked on autopilot without a single word to the world. Stepping past the entitled children he paid them no mind to start as Mana was the only person he could think about at the moment. Curiosity honestly got the best of him when it came down to trying to figure out Mana’s intention after all Mana was the one who gave him the marking upon his forehead. The process had been quick but not painless as the energy had carved itself in through his skin sinking into his mind. The knowledge that Mana had bestowed upon him was yet to be accessed at this time. All he knew now was the follow his gut when it came down to the nit and grit of all situations. The walk probably took him about twenty minutes before he felt a click in his system as his magic was sealed away in the neutral zone. Raising a brow he looked left and right before spying the building of interest to the iLac device. Pushing through the doors he sauntered to the front counter.

Clearly, something had happened before he arrived at the building, the first was the traces of Damian's feet in the building. The sporadic mud marks of an illy washed Bassam were next for his boots never got clean no matter how hard he tried. He must have been in a rush to get here. The woman at the front counter looked as if she was terrified about who was coming next. Yet relief met her face when she looked upon Ydris with a smile. “Good day sir, are you here for the iLac?” She questioned him in a cheerful tone as she slowly lifted the item towards him slowly. Her smile was bright and wide it was almost as if she was overjoyed to see someone she felt was normal. A steaming manager remained over in the corner glaring down two employees who were red in the face with guilt. This one was definitely Damian’s work right here, moving forward his gloved hand clasped around the package as he gave her a small wink of thanks. No words were traded with her, but she seemed completely okay with it as she sat back in her seat after having a small shiver roll down her spine. Before he even walked out of the door she had excused herself to the bathroom.

Opening the box slowly, he began toying with the communications device with ease. Wrinkling his nose he started first with the tinkering of sound. After going through the simple ring tones he felt better to leave the device on silent mode and vibrate. Putting it away in his coat chest pocket Ydris began to troop back home to the alley maze. Oh right, he could not forget his cigarettes.

Let's be humans. [JOB - Delancy, Ydris, Bassam, Ros ] UTtBOov

Do not let the golden gaze of a malicious intent keep you from surviving as a species. Do not let the extensive waves of rose locks keep you looking, because the aura coming from such an adorable being is a protruding contradiction than the being who was stuck inside. Today, Ros was not herself; being one of her personalities taking hold of her today. She was having a grand time, playing a game of constant parkour. She jumped from a low-hanging roof, landing on top of a large garbage bin. She seemed to have been carrying a small box, protecting something in her arms. She moved down an alley, where she would come in contact with someone with shifty eyes. The man leaned in his voice shaky whilst he whispered," Is it done?" The energetic girl's visage turned into a sneer as she opened the lid of the box. Inside were random parts of the human body. Fingers, teeth, a few small bones, and an eye pulled from its socket. The man sighed in relief before getting choke-slammed against the brick wall of the alley.

"So where is it? I don't have much time!" The pink-haired girl asked until the man presented her with a small clear case. The girl snatched it from his hands and cared not one when he scurried away. She marveled at the contents she could see inside, drooling over it. The perfectly baked sponge cake un-cracked as it was rolled into the perfect vanilla spiral. The French creme stuffed but unspilled from it's encasing. A deep strawberry drizzle catered over the top with silver sprinkles dressed over the cake. The top, four half-strawberries with a fake vanilla leaves in their centers. Ros and her other personalities love this strawberry shortcake, but the psychopathic one got her banned for life in a tragic accident. Now, this was a job to get her hands on one, even if it meant taking someone's life in a meager job.

What would you do for a Klondike bar?

She nearly ate it at that second but had to stop herself. I was getting late, ad she got it for a reason. here was a special occasion that she needed it for. She closed it shut after closing her eyes and shielding itself from its delectable aroma. She coughed once to get the memory out. That was only part one of the deal, there was another to close as soon as possible. A job she had to do, and could not allow herself to go home without having it done. She straightened her posture before running with joy over her new acquirement. She left the alley and went on her way to the next job.

Do not let the golden gaze of a malicious intent keep you from surviving as a species. Do not let the extensive waves of rose locks keep you looking, because the aura coming from such an adorable being is a protruding contradiction than the being who was stuck inside. Do not let her joy make you think she is someone whom she is not.

She leaped upwards, stomping her feet against the side of the building. Her arms spread in a proud span, feeling herself fly towards the sky. In that second, it happened. Her body collided with a hardened object, crashing through it. Specifically, it was a magical vehicle. She was not looking where she was going and ended up getting hit by this automobile. The people riding in it were surprised, but they were beginning to yell at her. She seemed to have stumbled onto a car chase, being in the one that was running. The ones doing the chasing blasted an explosive magical attack on the vehicle, which made her fall over.

This moment made time seem to slow down, the one controlling Ros' body had slight tears in her eyes. She knew what was about to happen. She was not ready. Her beloved strawberry shortcake bounced out of her hands, falling out of the vehicle and under the wheel of the car below it. Goodbye, you shall be missed, precious thing.

Run.

She slowly stood up, looking at the people in the same car as her. Her hands were shaking, but she stole one of the longswords that were piled onto the vehicle. She took a few steps back, making a running start before jumping out of the open back-side of the vehicle. It only took one stab into the driver, the maddening screeches of the lady were prominent in the area. No one shall live after hurting her precious. No one will survive knowing they have struck a cord in Ros' heart. No one will ever believe that she will do anything for such a valuable item.

    "You hurt my precious!"

The magical car swerved, the people on the car were ready to fight. Unfortunately, the lady controlling Ros' body was already connecting the device on her arm, throwing the sword into the next guy's chest. She sped off, swerving wildly to force them off their balance. Admittedly, she had a difficult time kicking off the body. She turned the car around, swerving around corners whilst narrowly avoiding shops or other automobiles. If she were to bring them dismay, she will bring them to the job she was supposed to be doing right now. Of course, she figured that there would be one or more who would not be too affected by her methods, so she would have to get off now. Leaning down, she took her prosthetic leg off with one hand and taking the tool off of her arm with her teeth. It as quickly coming down to a stop, but not soon enough.

The woman jumped off of where she was, not looking back when the car crashed into a nearby building. Not her fault, they should have never hurt her precious. She used her leg to dampen the impact by slowing down her speed as much as she could, having to force herself to roll the rest of the way through an alley into another street. SHe got up, dusted herself off, and placed her damaged leg back where it needed to be. No matter, she has arrived, just to get her cellphone. She nonchalantly walked around the corner, entering the phone store. Her hair is disheveled, and it lied awkwardly when she casually leaned against the counter to ask for a phone.
