Re: Terminating A Monster
Wearing her new dark green military-grade radiation suit that was made thicker and tougher to survive combat in irradiated environments, Stiletto carefully made her way through the guild hall, garnering a few stares from other guild members. The blonde ignored them because the cumbersome suit's protection would be needed where she was going. She was not even to the job site yet and she was sweating profusely because she had put on a black balaclava to cover her face and hair; only her green eyes peered out of the shroud, which was obscured by the faceplate of the suit. The radiation suit's head covering was specifically rigged with a voice changer so that her real voice was not used. The suit was hot and the air circulation was poor, but it would keep her alive in the irradiated patch of hell on earth known as Morgate Town.
According to some information she had just read about Morgate Town, the place had been rendered radioactive by the activity of a Dark Guild who had used it as a testing ground for radioactive weaponry and other unpleasant man-made weapons. The Hidden Blades had been sent there to deal justice upon a Jordan Moretto, who was accused of kidnapping the daughter of a Michaela Butler but it had never been conclusively proven. The blonde suspected that was because he had destroyed all the evidence and had either bought off witnesses or eliminated anyone who would not be bought off.
Mrs. Butler wanted justice for her daughter since the legal system had closed the case due to a lack of evidence and no one else was willing to help. Their mission was to investigate Morgate Town for clues and look for Jordan Moretto. Then they were to discover what happened to Jenny Butler and make sure that Mr. Moretto paid for what he did using any methods deemed necessary. That was simple enough.
Stiletto tried to avoid killing people unless they deserved it. If it was true that Mr. Moretto had kidnapped and disposed of Jenny, Stiletto was willing to make an exception for this man. If it became necessary to terminate him, she wanted to be the one to do it... if her partner did not get to him first.
Speaking of which, where was her partner?
Stiletto stood in place next to a wall in the main hallway and waited for her partner. Her accomplice's codename was "Void", but other than that Stiletto knew nothing about them. She would find out more before the job... if Void was the social type and not the "strong and silent" type. This job was going to be an interesting one.

Re: Terminating A Monster
An important headhunt came in this morning, which was told to her by Blanche. Apparently since most of the higher ranking members of the group were busy with other tasks already, two agents were required. Fortunately assassination was Void's specialty. The Goddess had no prior engagements, obviously, so therefore there was no reason for her to decline. The other person tasked with this hunt was nicknamed "Stiletto"; it was not surprising the name was ambiguous. Void had hopes at least that her partner for this was a woman since human boys were in most cases annoying to keep on task. Regardless, for this job, the woman had to be a bit more careful than normal. Morgate Town was a small area covered in toxic gases which were extremely flammable, plus plenty of ash and debris. It was not so much the gases that were difficult as the fact that her entire self revolved around light and flame. Not a good combination at all. Ultimately in a worst case scenario, Void was limited to using only Kusanagi and her raw martial prowess. Death was not a worry on her mind. In fact, she was more worried about her apparent partner on this job. Anyway, with all of that in mind, Amaterasu made her way to the main hall clad in jet black armor and her heirloom mask which also acted to mask her entire self around this guild - much like the full head mask that came with the uniform.
It only took a couple of minutes for the woman to reach the main hall at a moderate walking pace from where she changed into the uniform. Some meters ahead of her was a person who stuck out almost like a sore thumb. Judging by the person's gear, they were about to leave for a hazardous job and judging by their frame, it was most likely a female. At the very least, it was a 50/50 split whether or not that was 'Stiletto'; that was a reasonable risk ratio to shoot for. Amaterasu's stride did not stop while she was in thought and right on time, when her train of thought finished, Void was just a few feet away. It was then that she asked a very simple question. The woman's tone was serious but not harsh and Kusanagi was currently floating directly up against her back.
"I am assuming you are Stiletto, yes?"

Re: Terminating A Monster
Stiletto spotted a person wearing the standard black guild panoply plus a special mask that differed from the normal mask members were required to wear. The new person wasted no time with conversation and promptly asked if the person decked out in the military-grade dark green radiation suit with no identifying symbols was the guild member known as Stiletto. The blonde kind of liked how the other guild member got straight to the point.
"I am Stiletto." Stiletto answered in the affirmative using a robotic female voice. She liked having the voice changer added to the hood of the radiation suit because it let her keep her relative anonymity. She doubted that anyone in Morgate Town would know or care about her voice, but the blonde liked to stay anonymous as much as she could. No one needed to know the real her, especially anyone involved in Hidden Blades.
"I will be accompanying you on today's assignment. I trust that you have read the briefing." Stiletto said to the other guild member. The blonde had read over it and understood their purpose in going to the radioactive hole that used to be a thriving community until someone decided to use it for target practice and weapons development. This would be her first time venturing into a hazardous environment, but there was a first time for everything. Her tenure in Hidden Blades would take her to many new and interesting locales; Morgate Town would be only one of many that she would get to visit on guild "business."
Stiletto studied her partner for the job, who looked to be a woman. This would be only the second job she had ever taken with a partner and the first job she had taken with a female partner. She looked forward to seeing how the other guild member performed on the job.
"How would you like to approach this job?" Stiletto asked the other mage. She hoped that she had been paired with someone as crafty as Troubadour, someone who recognized the value of planning and teamwork. While her magic let her fight in direct battles if doing so became necessary, the blonde preferred to simply shoot the target from a distance instead of engaging in a direct fight just to prove her skill. Perhaps her partner would feel the same way and opt for a less direct approach. While it would be hard for Stiletto to sneak around in a radiation suit, she would do everything she could to help her partner and make this job a success.
